The Mystery of the School on Fire came as a beautiful fast read for me and I even read the story to my son.

The book is filled with beautiful illustrations explaining the story in a seamless and interesting way. It takes us into the world of nine-year olds, of the Super Mystery Solvers or the SMS gang of Aditya and Akriti, the twins and their close friend Kabir. Together, they embark into solve the mysteries that have baffled the police and authorities of Solan, a small hill town, in a close-knit community.

This book is written with beautiful intriguing style that will encourage tweens to read more and definitely keep them interested. This book is the first mystery in the newly-launched SMS Detective Agency series!! I am definitely interested to read more. 💜💜

This book is really good to introduce kids to reading habit especially young kids.

'The Mystery Of The School On Fire' is the first book of the series 'THE SMS DETECTIVE AGENCY'. Specially written for children, this book is short and revolves around a mystery.

The story is well knitted with effective characters like Aditya, Akriti and Kabir. As the title implies, there is a fire accident in the school, confusing everyone who would be behind that. These three, Aditya, Akirti and Kabir, more shortly, SMS gang tries their hand in solving this mystery.

The reasons behind their suspects made this story interesting to read. Apart from SMS Gang, the characters like the mother of the twins and Sister Maria Leena are irreplaceable. The best thing in this book is the characters for sure and this is the best start for a Series.

What I felt on reading this end of the book is that it sounded a bit unrealistic as the children of about 9 years are solving mysteries that baffled the police and other higher authorities. That's mean even if children solving mysteries, for the case in the book is simple for them to solve, for sure. But it wasn't realistic that that simple thing escaped the eyes of policemen🤷‍♀️.

Special applauses to the illustrators, who gave life to the book. Every page is beautiful and it took longer for me to take my eyes from the illustrations.

Recommended for children who are passionate about Mystery books. Also for children who has an eye over Enid Blyton's children series.

The story is about a small town tucked away on a hill, featuring a school wrapped around the nature which overlooks a valley and now suddenly in a very long time the town is facing the mystery of the school lab that caught fire.

The young detectives Akriti, Aditya and Kabir are determined to solve the mystery of the sudden fire that took place in their school lab and they are ready to do anything to save the reputation of their school before the yearly school inspection takes place. They call themselves as “The SMS Detective Agency” and it makes this book a super interesting read.

The whole vibe of the book will remind you of simpler days when you sat with your grandparents and eagerly waited to hear a story about their childhood.
This is the first book in the upcoming “The SMA detective agency” series which makes it all the more interesting.
The illustrations in this book are so good that even an adult would be interested in reading the story.

It is a trip down to your memory lane and a perfect read for the little ones in your family.

A very kid friendly book which takes you back in your school days but I felt could have done better in areas of Picturesque description of Solan and lacking skills of Police to investigate Fire at first place.

A worthy attempt to foster the culture of logical and critical thinking through "investigation of crimes" in middle schoolers.
However, the SMS (Super Mystery Solvers) trio have a long way to match the fervour of the secret seven or the famous five.
Illustrations are superb, though.
