A rogue by any other name…

Lady Holly Bailey knows a rake when she meets one and the Earl of Tidemore is most definitely that. From his improper suggestions to his lewd stare, he has nothing wholesome on his mind. Fortunately, she has a weapon in hand. All right, fine, it was actually just a stick of bread and now it’s been ruined since she was forced to beat him back with the baked good. Hungry, she can only pray that she never meets that loathsome earl again. But Tidemore has different ideas all together.

A pretty little prim and proper miss…

Jack wasn’t looking for love. He wasn’t even searching for romance. But when a storm insures that he’s stuck in a tiny village, he’d take a good tup as a form of distraction. Unfortunately, the woman he thought was propositioning him turns out to be a proper sort and a lady no less. What has he gotten himself into?

And when he sees Holly again, why can’t he just let her be? It might be because of her stunning green eyes or the flush of color in her cheeks or the way she brandishes a loaf of bread like a sword. Or, perhaps, the sugary sweet cookie scent that envelopes her has something to do with it.

But whatever it is, Jack can’t seem to stay away.

Trapped in a tiny village in a snowstorm, the Earl of Tidemore finds that his improper suggestions haven’t made the prim lady Holly drop her pantaloons. In fact, he couldn’t decide if it was that she WAS a proper lady or the taste of sugar cookies on her lips that has him wanting to be a better man, but she deserves someone without his colorful past. Yet, he can’t stay away…Can he win her heart and receive the best present ever?

Tammy Andresen’s MY YULETIDE EARL is another special holiday romance to savor, smile with and escape into. Fun characters, some humor and the inevitable sound of another rake falling, I love it! Always a happy ending, always a few twists and quirks along the way.

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Tammy Andresen! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Second of the Wallflower series, this time it’s Jack and Holly.

He’s a bit of a scoundrel when it comes to the ladies, because he’s already loved and lost he sort of waits for women to throw themselves at him.

However all rules are out once he sees Holly, and he seems determined to ruin her, at least that’s what she thinks, but it’s only once he leaves he realises what he’s loosing.

Holly on the other hand just wants love, but that’s not what he’s offering.
Can they eventually start singing from the same hymn sheet and get it together, time will tell.

Very enjoyable read and good characters that keep the story flowing well. A great seasonal romance.
Onto book 3 .

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

Read it. Claim it. Own it. It’s yours. Tammy Andresen did a wonderful job of bring romance to her holiday book My Yuletide Earl. It was sweet. It was romantic. It was Hot. And it was steamy. Melt that snow Jack and Holy. Tammy caught my attention with the steamy scenes and had me sighing while reading the beautiful love story of Jack and Holly. Awesome writing Tammy. I can’t wait to read you next work. My fellow readers, I recommend this book. Until the next...read on! I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy.

My Yuletide Earl is the second book in the Wallflower’s Christmas Wish series, and it was an enjoyable second book. Although I enjoyed this one, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the first.

The main reason I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much is because a lot of the scenes were the same as we saw in the first book. As nice as it was to see things from another perspective, I feel there were too many of these moments for such a short story. The story itself was sweet, I enjoyed it, but I would have liked a wee bit more from it.

All in all, an enjoyable second book in the series, but not my favourite from the author.

Another Charmer!!! My Yuletide Earl by Tammy Andresen is book 2 in A Wallflower's Christmas Wish Book series and if you are like me… I just can’t resist a good holiday themed story. Though in a series this book can be read as a standalone. When Holly is looking for a husband, Jack is anything but husband material. I enjoy every book that Tammy writes as they a just so heart warming and charming. This story has a Rake and a Rogue, loving sisters, mourning a loss, a father that sends them away, running away, not knowing their feelings, not able to say I love you and so so much more. I highly recommend you read this book. It is so enjoyable.

***This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Afraid to love

Holly was bending over and Jack literally ran into her from behind and literally gripped her hips to stay upright? Holly of course was outraged at being handled with so much familiarity from a stranger! Jack was traveling with his friend Dash and is definitely in heat! As he spends more time with Holly he realizes she wants to heal her family with love and she is perfect for him! Jack has been hurt before and its taken years to get over it! Can Holly help him let go his past and embrace a future with her? Jack is afraid can he overcome his fear by Christmas?

I'm enjoying this 3-book Christmas series and was offered an ARC for my review. I enjoyed this story but feel like much of it was repeating what I had already read in book 1 so it felt repetitive to me. I also thought that love came way too fast and perhaps if the author expanded on their inner thoughts, it would have made much more sense. It's hard for me to believe that two quick encounters resulted in love. I still found this an enjoyable read and look forward to book #3.

Although Holly is the youngest sister, I'm thinking she was the most passionate and is unafraid of stepping forward with her emotions. The earl had a few issues he needed to deal with and although he ran from them, they caught up with him just as things tend to do in real life. An enjoyable read, I was just missing the romance end of things prior to the commitment of love.

Wonderful novella in this Christmas series. Lady Holly Bailey is determined to marry for love, as she is convinced this will save her family from their grief. Jack, the Earl of Tidemore, wants nothing to do with love, but he'd like more fun with Holly for sure. Loved these characters, felt for them from the start, story was engaging and quite funny at times, and the writing style very easy to read. Highly recommend for a nice short read.

Sweet and sexy

They say reformed rakes make the best husbands but Jack was hurt years ago and isn’t ready to reform. So why can’t he walk away from Lady Holly? Holly doesn’t want a rake. She thinks only true love will let her family move on from devastating loss. So, why does being with Jack make her tingle?
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to everyone.

This story features the middle sister, Holly and Jack, Earl of Tidmore. They have both been affected by events in their past, Jack more so than Holly. Holly wanted to find a love that was similar to that of her parents. Jack is afraid to love because of his past experiences. This is set in a snow filled village where the three sisters have come to stay with their aunt. This was a romantic setting with some humorous events and a heart warming bond between the sisters and also, Jack and his two friends. This was an entertaining read with a few passionate moments. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is such an entertaining holiday series that leaves you all warm & smiling! It centers around three noblemen on their way to a widow's debauched house party when they become stranded in a small country town due to a horrendous snowstorm. Add the second part of the equation and you have three young sisters who have just moved to this small town to live with their Dowager Countess Aunt, who prefers the house she grew up in over the London scene.

This second book brings in Jack, Earl of Tidemore who is handsome, a well-known rake & wine, women & song is how he lives his life. Five years ago, the plague took his family & heir to the title & he was suddenly the Earl of Tidemore. Not long after losing his family members, he fell head over heels in love with a lady he thought he would marry but she jilted him in favor of a duke twenty-five years her senior. Since then he learned all he could about keeping the title running smoothly & in any spare time he had, he partied with his friends. Now he was stranded in this small, boring country town with so much snow, he didn't know when they could leave........then he met Holly!

Lady Holly Bailey is a beautiful, young woman & she hopes to find a man who she can fall in love with & he will love her completely. After the three sisters lost their mother a year ago, their father has become a drunk & she knows if she can show that love goes on, he will see it & stop drinking. She needs to find someone kind, who loves family, wants to settle down and raise a family.......then she met Jack.

Jack & Holly have a few obstacles to cross - the main one being she loves him, and he doesn't love her. They are so good together, but should she just end it, or should he just leave town when he can or will they find a middle ground. This is a very entertaining, fun, and romantic read with no darkness or drama plus the secondary characters are all wonderful too! I highly recommend this & all the books in this series for some great holiday stories!

I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.

Starring Lady Holly Bailey and Jack, the Earl of Tidemore.

Aww this novella will go straight to your heart. Jack and Holly both had tragedies in their life. Jack closed his heart and vowed never to love again... Holly chose to embrace hope and search for true love that heals. So much emotional roller coaster and a good ugly cry AF. These two truly gave me all the giddy feely-feels. Loved this story!!

Tammy Andresen is fast making her way to my keeper shelf. I’ve loved every book that I’ve read of hers. Can’t wait to read more of her stories.

This story (#2) is intertwined with the other two books in the Wallflower’s Christmas Wish series... but could also be read as a stand alone. There are a a few repeat scenes from the first book included in this story. You’ll definitely be curious to know about the other two Bailey sisters and Dash’s friends. The other two novellas are: My Dashing Duke by Tammy Andresen and Annabelle Anders (#3)... and My Merry Marquess by Annabelle Anders (#3). Can’t wait to read Eve and Nick’s story!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I voluntarily review it and the comments are 100% my own.

My star rating: 5 stars
Ugly cried AF. Major book hangover. Characters and storyline were freaken amazeballs. Made me wanna hug the authors for writing a book that gave me all the feels!! Will definitely be adding this story to my Annual Holiday Romance Book re-reads!!

Holly and Jack

Holly meets Jack, the Earl of Tidemore under the most horrendous circumstances. Her foot is stuck in a snow drift and she has trouble getting it out. When she does she loses her footing and falls backward and into a - tree? No not a tree, a man! The worst part is she loses all of the groceries she was taking home! She appreciates his help in not letting her fall, she doesn't appreciate the fact he has grabbed her and doesn't seem to want to let go! So she does what she can and picks up one of the ruined loaves of bread and starts hitting him with it and tells him to leave her alone! After getting home she leaves what little she was able to salvage and decides to go back to the bakery. When she steps outside, she pauses and unwraps her bundle. She removes her glove and takes a small bite of her Shortbread cookie and then wraps it back up with the other one to savor later. Only her actions have not gone unnoticed! The Earl of Tidemore steps up and asks her to take a walk with him. She wants to say no, but agrees instead! What is going on? Why is she having a hard time telling him no? What does he want with her? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Tammy Anderson. You will enjoy this book !

The second in a trio of Christmas tales, this charming story focuses on Holly and Jack. Holly is the youngest Bailey sister, and Jack is Dash’s friend, also stranded by the snowstorm.

The story and characters are charming, and the atmosphere is festive in these tales. I liked the first one a little better, but once you read that one, you want to know what happens to the other characters. I think this could be read as a standalone, but you would be missing out on the wonderful first installment which sets up the scene more completely than this one does, so I recommend that you start at the beginning with the Dashing Duke.

Holly literally runs into Jack the morning after the lords are stranded by the snowstorm. He flirts, and she is receptive, but has her own mission to find love. Jack has some issues with love but Holly decides that it’s worth the effort to try to bring him around. Of course we do have a happily ever after.

This is a quick and charming read, not clean, but not focused on sex. I received an ARC from the author for the series and I am enjoying it and looking forward to part 3.

Lady Holly Bailey knows a rake when she meets one and the Earl of Tidemore is most definitely that. From his improper suggestions to his lewd stare, he has nothing wholesome on his mind. Jack wasn’t looking for love. He wasn’t even searching for romance. But when he sees Holly slip into a snowdrift he can’t stop himself from rescuing her & finds himself drawn to her.
Another delightful read, I loved both Jack & Holly he doesn’t believe in love after having had his heart broken, she believes love will heal her family. The chemistry between the pair simmers before combusting but they also talk & confide in each other until Jack nearly blows it but Holly is one determined lady. The second book in this lovely trilogy, it could be read on its own, however to fully appreciate it I’d recommend reading the first book, I read it in a sitting as I couldn't put it down
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

I enjoyed this romance story of Lady Holly Bailey and Jack the Earl of Tidemore.

Lady Holly lives in a small village with her aunt and sisters. While shopping for things for there breakfast and things that they need. Her foot sinks into the snow from the recent snowstorm. While trying to get her foot unstuck she bumps into a man.

Jack the Earl of Tidemore is stuck in a small village because of a snowstorm. There not much to do than drink with his friends. So after drinking the night a way he decides to get some fresh air by walking around the small village. But he did not expect to be bump into a young lady.

This was a cute Christmas time story of how wishes can come true. This story is the second in three Wallflower's Christmas wish stories. It can be read on it only or together with the others. I know it was a fun to read and had me laughing a lot with what the characters do.

I received a complimentary copy from the author. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

The second book in this series does not disappoint as Holly becomes the target of Jack, the Earl of Tidemore's attention. When she attacks him with a stick of bread he is amused but finds that he cannot help himself other than to keep an eye out for her. Stuck in the small village during a snowstorm, Jack and his two friends find more than they bargained for, especially in the form of a red-clad young lady who loves to savour life. Jack has been hurt before and when he realises that Lady Holly will only embark on a love match, he takes a step back. He even goes so far as to escape her altogether, until he discovers that there is nowhere to run. This fun Regency romance made me smile as Jack and Holly find their way to happiness. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

My Yuletide Earl by Tammy Andresen, is the second book in the Wallflowers Christmas Wish series. This story tells the tale of Lady Holly Bailey and Jack, the Earl of Tidemore. When these two collide, Holly knows a rake, and knows to stay away. But Tidemore has other ideas, especially when Holly smells so sweet. The unexpected kisses and the feelings the evoke confuse Holly. Holly and Jack have both had loss and tragedy in their past, Jack refuses to love again, for he knows how painful it can be. Holly believes that love will heal her family. Will Holly’s big heart and love be enough to heal the hurt of Jack’s past. I loved this story, and although it can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend that you read it in order following book one of the series, as it takes place simultaneously.

In a small village of Maybridge Falls it's a Christmas winter wonderland. It's a magical place full of laughter, good cheer and falling in love with that special someone that are the gifts of the season! My Yuletide Earl is the second of Wallflower's Christmas Wish series by Annabelle Anders. As Jack has no interest in love because of a hurtful past he finds Holly who brings light into his world and who will help him heal. Holly has no time for rogues and Jack is just that...a rogue! But as sparks flare and temptations abound Holly finds herself falling for her Yuletide Earl in this story that is beautifully written, with appealing characters, remarkable emotions, a good plot and as their story unfolds with all the drama, sizzling passions, uncertainties and the magical magic of the Christmas Season!

This is book 2 in a 3 book series, A Wallflower's Christmas Wish. While you don't need to read the first one ( I read this one first by mistake! ;) ), You really should read the first one first. It makes for a fuller story I feel. This series is about 3 sisters in a charming little village. This is the story of Lady Holly Bailey and Jack, the Earl of Tidemore. Holly feels that love will heal her family and bring her father back to them. Jack is stuck in the small village Holly lives in because of a snow storm. Jack mistakes Holly for a loose woman and so it begins. Jack wants to get out of the village as quickly as he can as he wants nothing to do with relationships and love. Holly falls madly in love but thinks Jack wants nothing but a quick tup. Great little Christmas novella. I received a free copy of this book for my honest review

steamy romance; Holly is the youngest and blonde sister of the 3 Bailey sisters staying with their aunt in a small village. Holly quite literally bumps into Jack the Earl of Tidemore carrying bread back to her aunt's house. She promptly 'assaults' him with a loaf. He chases after her and gets her to accept cookies from his hand to her mouth. In the misunderstanding between Noelle and Dash in the previous book, Holly defends her sister Noelle. Dash and Jack rush out of town where Noelle and Holly find them at the Wavering Goat after a change of heart. Holly and Jack are the second of 3 couples to marry. The 3 books should be read in order. Book 2 does have recap from book 1 which should be read first.

This is the 2nd book in the series Wallflowers Christmas Wish, which is about 3 sisters finding love for Christmas. This book is about the youngest sister, Holly and Jack. Jack is an Earl who once was hurt by love and now refuses to love anyone. Holly is a lady who wants love to make her family happy. I would definitely recommend reading this book right after reading book one in the series. I think you should do what I am doing and reading all three books in one weekend. I love this series; each book makes me smile. I think I fell in love with Holly and Jack in the first chapter when Holly is hitting Jack with the loaf of bread. 😊

This is the second book in the three-book series about three sisters and three gentlemen all set over the same time period in a lovely Christmas village setting. This was a very quick read but I was a little disappointed in the fact there was a lot of repeat dialogue from the first book and a lot of sex. I felt that there was no time given to develop a relationship and although this is a fun read it would have been nice if it had been just that little bit longer to have the characters get to know each other. So for this reviewer, it was a very quick read as I skipped the sex as usual and a lot of the repeated dialogue. I am still looking forward to the next book as you now have to find out how the last sisters gets her HEA. I received this book as an ARC and freely give my review.

This is Lady Holly Bailey & Jack the Earl of Tidemore's story.
Both of them have lived through some tragedies. The loss of loved ones is never easy to get over. Holly and Jack have two very different ideas on how to get through their own grief. Holly thinks finding love will bring her and her family through them while Jack believes not loving again is the way to go.
This is book two in A Wallflower's Christmas Wish. A quick, fun, enjoyable read. Where literally running into someone can bring the one person you'll love forever into your life. Jack & Holly are both loveable charecters that are just made for each other.
Tammy Andresen writes wonderful stories and this one doesn't disappoint. I was given a ARC of this book. This is my honest and true review.

What a sweet romance. In the beginning Holly and Jack played games of "don't bother me" and "I can't help but bother you". Although the attraction was mutual, Holly was looking for love. Since her mother died her family was falling apart and she knew the only thing that would bring them together was a healing love. Jack had no intention of ever loving anyone again. But he wanted Holly. Confusion and anger clouded their intentions and they separated unhappily. But then Holly began to understand where Jack was coming from and could not let him get away. She went after him. Jack thought if he made love to Holly, she would have no choice but to marry him. Boy was he wrong. They had a lot to iron out. A story of healing love and redemption.

I’m torn whether to say this is a stand alone or to say you must read book 1. Main reason, it is repetitive if you read book 1. If you just start with this one, you are given a lot of fill in.

I did like both characters and they each believed strongly what they wanted out of life. The H has held onto his hurt for 5 years because he was turned down by someone he loved. The h will only marry for love because she feels it will heal her father. That seemed an unlikely reason, but she was adamant about it.

No real drama and no villains, just a sweet simple story. There is lovemaking outside of marriage and described at least two times. Heat level 4 out of 5 at least.

No cheating, no cliffhanger for our couple, but is for last sister (book 3) , some romance and spice, (ljb).

Love heals the wounds of the past
My Yuletide Earl is set around Christmastide. It has a spunky wallflower who is on a mission to find her one true love, hoping it will help heal her grieving family. Lady Holly stumbles into Earl of Tidemore who excites her but she knows he’s a rake. Both are in need of healing and I enjoyed the progress of their relationship. It’s been a while since I’ve read a Tammy Andresen book and I’m so happy I came across this one. It’s a true Tammy Andresen book. Interesting characters, a little bit of hotness, some twists, and always a HEA. A nice enjoyable quick read.
