They told me I would never be welcomed back. They called me weak because I was different, they called my mom broken for giving their pack me. My entire life has been head down, mouth closed, and stay away from the others.
My own mate decided I was weak and promised himself to another.
None of this bothers me though, my wolf mourned her mate and we left the Halfcrest pack behind. Now, I want answers more than a place to call home, and I have finally found someone who can give them to me.
It turns out my pack is hunting me again, finally everyone knows exactly how much of an abomination I am. The jokes on them though, Ralee Danvers’ isn’t weak. I never was, I allowed myself to appease them.
Now that I know the answers to the truth? They will never own me again, I’m not an abomination, and this is my call for my vindication.
The story was going by so fast and I felt like I was running the whole time reading it. However I was super intrigued about the story so hopefully the next book is in a slower pace and add more details the story. I'll be picking up the next book.
So.... This book is kind of confusing. I'm still not quite sure what happened. I also didn't feel like any emotions are invoked through the story. Every scene kind of felt abrupt 😬
Low rating but it had the makings of being really great. The problem is that this book is rushed in the worse ways, nothing is broken down as an actual story, and the sad part is that this storyline would have been really freaking amazing!! I think the author should have waited to publish this, took the time on this little dusty rock to polish it into a beautiful diamond. But that's not what we got, and it was painful in the worse way
So this girl is rejected and immediately goes to find her missing father. Two years later, father finally found and her old pack wants her back. This is where I’m confused. No one stood up for her and all disrespected her, yet she goes back. They kicked her out! Only one word comes to mind: weak.
Side bar: her only goal in life is to find a mate and father. She does nothing to better herself or become stronger. Weak.
Okay, what? This story is soo poorly written. Everything moves very quickly. I feel like an entirely different author wrote the first chapter as well. Also, her pack cast her out and her mate rejected her. But, suddenly, two years later they want her back. She returns and they welcome her with open arms and she is just pretty accepting of it. Seriously, this book made absolutely no sense to me. I finished the book, hoping it would improve at some point. Now I just think that's an hour of my life I'll never get back.
Rejected mate!! Of course I had to read it!! Ralee is our MC and she is treated horribly in her pack because she is DIFFERENT! She also was rejected by her mate for the same reason!
Even with everything this poor girl goes through she still stands tall even when she gets banished from the pack. She then starts a journey of self discovery.
I really enjoyed this one short quick read but it kept my interest from page one! I will read book 2
The series has a good story line but the author needs to edit more. I’m usually never this critical but it distracts from the flow of the story.
The series introduces us to an Alpha female who has no idea how strong she is. Along with it comes the mates who want her and will protect her. With how short this story was I feel like there’s going to be 150 books to this series.
This book drew me in from the instant I started reading it. Ralee is an outcast from her pack for looking different. R. Spain did a great job expressing what Ralee worked through when she had been rejected her whole life. Going through that shaped who she was but this book is of her life after being banished. Her journey is amazing and full of unknowns. Recommend this book 100%.
This is a really interesting world the author immerses you in immediately. Rylee is a tough character who's been through a lot in her life, and I can't wait to watch her growth through the series. Just like I'm excited to watch the author grow as she goes on.
I love this book! It is absolutely one of my favorite genre types and R. Spain has pulled it off perfectly! I am looking forward to the rest of the books in the series and I highly recommend reading this if you are into a slow RH!
Nothing to exciting but easy read. Wish the story or plot was more thorough and not so choppy. The idea for the plot was great. I feel it needed a little more edge on the characters. The main character was a little aloof.
Absolutely loved this book! It was familiar and different at the same time! For me the story line is new and innovative! The characters were relatable and likable. This is a must read if your into paranormal slow building romance.
good short intro into what I think is going to be a interesting series, only 70 pages so its really only a teaser. a lot happened as heroine already matted with her first mate so this book could have been longer it still an interesting start to the series
3.5⭐️I enjoyed this book. It’s a broken mate bond with a little twist. I love books that includes mates of different species. There are some grammar issues and extra words but over all I enjoyed it.
Vampires and Werewolves what more could you want? I loved the introduction bit at the beginning which gives you a history of the species in this book. Great story and brilliantly written. Highly recommend
Book about a girl thats abused by her pack gets thrown out. All I have to say is it very vague there isnt much description. Its an okay start but a really really really short story.
Soo I have this 3 stars because it has one of my peeves in it at the end. She’s been rejected by her pack and mate forever and all of a sudden she’s sooo happy to be back with them and accepted. Like She better be really mad at everyone in the next book.
This book needs a lot of work. There was no character development everything was told not shown and the main character literally forms instant relationships with everyone. Just met mate instant connection skip two month (as in nobody knows what happens in those two months) and she loves him. Just met father who didn't know she existed instant connection.
