Hearts beat together, breath for breath in perfect time.Jude Renfro came to the small island town of Crawford's Landing looking to start over. The bright lights of the LA music scene don't shine as brightly after losing your greatest love. All he wanted was to fix up his rustic old house on the beach and start a quiet, happy life out of the spotlight for his five-year-old son, Kit. A new romance wasn't in the cards. The last thing he expected was a sassy kindergarten teacher and a fall carnival to change his life forever.
You and I are fallin' into rhythm. One more kiss and you'll be mine.Harper Winslow is not exactly the stereotypical old maid schoolmarm, but she's never managed to find Mr. Right. Her greatest love has always been the students she teaches at Sojourner Truth Elementary. That is, until her rock star idol, Jude Renfro, and his adorable little boy waltzes into her life. His bad boy swagger and soul of a poet has her mind and body reeling. She doesn't have time to fall in love, though. The school is on the edge of financial ruin and the whole town is depending on her and the annual Fall Crawl carnival.
Together, Harper and Jude are a perfect duet, but will it be enough for a happily ever after?
Falling Into Rhythm is a small town, second-chance romance for anyone who loves seasonal, Hallmark-style love stories.

I fell in love with Kit “Falling Into Rhythm” is a beautiful tale of a widower and a kindergarten teacher. Jude Renfro was the sexy frontman and lead guitarist for a rock band, but now is a widowed stay at home father of a little boy who misses his mom. Harper Winslow is a kindergarten teacher at a small island elementary school. They meet on the first day of school, but Harper has had a crush on Jude since she heard him sing at a concert. Jude looks into Harpers' eyes and the attraction is instantaneous. Can a teacher and the parent of one of her students act on the chemistry they feel? Will it affect the child? What if it doesn’t work out? “Falling into Rhythm” is a sweet romance that will have you falling in love with Kit and keep you smiling to the last page. I received a free copy of this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book At Soujourner school Harper is prepping for another year with a kindergarten class. This year she has a last minute addition and a budget that has been cut in half. Since the new private school has opened on the island many of the students have been poached and the budget gone with them. Her new arrival is none other than her rock star crush Judes son. She absolutely adores Kit and the sparks fly with Jude while planning the school fundraiser. She is happy being on her own and doesn’t need a relationship getting in the way. Jude’s neighbour is none other than Mia who runs the new private school and she wastes no time trying to get her talons into Jude. I really enjoyed this story. Rock stars are my favourite so any that like a normal woman with curves is a fantasy come true for me. Great characters and the ending was nice.
Second chances This book is about Harper and Jude. It’s an emotional story where a second chance at love gives you hope. Harper is a kindergarten teacher, and Jude is a former rock star who has become a widower and a single parent to Kit. She’s idolised him for years, but coming face-to-face with him is different. There’s an undeniable mutual attraction there, but heartache can close you off from others. It can take a lot to let someone new in. This was my first time reading this author’s work, and I will definitely be looking for more. They really grabbed me with this story, and I didn’t want it to end. The characters were endearing, and their storyline entertaining. I just want to visit Crawford’s Landing… I give this book four and a half stars. Just devoured this book; I love a good small-town story, that I can read in one sitting. The images created from the author's words made me want to visit Crawford’s Landing. Harper, a Kindergarten teacher cat lover the town's favorite daughter. Jude, single father, widower, former rock god, just trying to live a simple life with his son. Together they are quite a team as they organize a school carnival to raise funds for Harper's school. I especially loved the diverse cast of characters who are part of the Island, hope we see their stories soon. Highly recommend this book.
Thank you to Booksprout and the author for the advanced opportunity to read and review this book.
I admit, I practically begged for an arc based on the cover alone, but once I read the blurb, HELLO...
Rockstar, single dad, small town romance??? I'm in.
Jude Renfro is Harper's dream guy, in that way you love singing along without a care on the radio, have to see live in concert, and maybe daydream about...but as a kindergarten teacher in a small town island, she knows better than to take off on flights of fancy. And her cat, Matthew and the kids she teaches is all she really needs, right? Plus, with a school that needs saving, she has so much more to focus on. Especially since she's thrown into organizing a fall carnival to save the school she loves with the hot rockstar dad of one of her students.
Out of the spotlight former front man Jude is looking for a place to raise his son after losing his wife tragically, which is how he lands on the quaint island. He knows what he wants, and once he meets Harper, he wants her.
But, will Harper surrender to the man Jude is, and not the rockstar she's imagined for years? Or will she see who he's always been, and let him into her heart?
The chemistry between Jude and Harper practically jumps off the page, sexy, adorable, and easy in the way you feel it from your toes to the top of your head. While most of the action takes place off the page, there's enough sizzle to keep your imagination swooning with envy.
Oh, how I adored their story, and can't wait to read more from the author!!
A new author to me but my first attraction was that cover, than I read the blurb and I was sold.
A small town romance with characters who are from different paths meet and luckily for us we get their story.
The author set a believable pace, characters that I cared about and wanted them together. The top reason I liked this book was how well it was written. Each character, scene, emotions, thoughts and fallings was put together with dedication. I couldn't stop reading it. It was just so natural even if the idea of a teacher and former rockstar/single dad might be a stretch, it didn't feel like it within these pages.
I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
This is my first experience with this author and I have to say it was a very pleasant one. I will certainly be looking for more of her books in the future! This is a sweet and clean story about second chances in love. Harper and Jude were a great couple and had undeniable chemistry. And Kit just seals the deal! This book will bring you plenty of smiles as you read their story. I would definitely recommend!

What do you get when you mix: a widowed, single father who is a rock star, a kindergarten teacher, and a small boy together? You get a small town romance that will leave you quickly turning the pages begging for more! The characters are totally believable, the chemistry is off the charts. Only one fly in the ointment, that is, will Harper see Jude as the man he is and not the man of her fantasies? This is Harper and Jude’s story.

This was the first book I have read by this author and I totally enjoyed it. Jude and Harper come from very different backgrounds. He a single father former rock star and she a school teacher that has never travelled far from where she grew up. But as always happens when children are involved, Kit brings them together. This story was extremely well developed and kept me interested from beginning to end. I can’t wait to see which resident of Crawford’s Landing finds love next.
I was immediately attracted to this book because the main character is a kindergarten teacher and that is also my chosen profession. I liked the story. The characters were likeable, the pacing was good, and I didn’t notice any grammatical or spelling errors? Readers should be aware that there is swearing and sex in the book. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I chose to leave an honest review. I received no compensation.
This book is soooo good. I loved Harper, Jude and Kit. The stroy was sad in parts and happy in other. I loved the small towm vibe. I love how Harper is so into teaching. That is how Jude and Harper meet. I loved this book and could not put it down. It has everything a sweet romance should have. I liked that this had a music aspect to it also. Great book well written and oh so good.

Jude stepped out of the spotlight of being a rockstar to raise his son Kit after his wife’s tragic death. Harper is his sons new kindergarten teacher that kit falls in love with immediately. Harper is Jude’s biggest fan but she soon sees past the fame to the man, and she just may be what they both need to heal broken hearts.
Sweet story with Harper who is the kindergarten teacher in Crawfords Landing when her music idle Jude and his young son Kit move to her small town and she becomes his teacher. She falls for the single dad and his son but there are others who want to cause them problems. With the twists in this story it is hard to put down. Great story and characters.
I fell right into this small town romance. It is well written and I was rooting for Jude and Harper from the very first word. I do not think I have read this author before but I will whole heartily be following her from here on out!

This is such a completely lovely story, the characters and and storyline both completely pull you in and the ending was so very sweet, got to admit I could’ve read more of their story but maybe they’ll be a catch up in the next book 🤞

The story of Jude and Harper is sweet and heartwarming. I normally stay away from rock star romances because the protagonists are often portrayed as self -destructive, arrogant, or insecure. This one surprisingly has two strong, brave, and relatable characters. I enjoyed reading it immensely.
