This one was a flop unfortunately. None of the characters had any depth or chemistry. It was hard to understand why any of them liked one another asides from physically (and even then, sometimes it was still a struggle). The whole teacher/student thing does nothing for me, in fact, I usually avoid it, however, Cassie Cole has done it well in the past because it didn’t focus on the professor thing, it was about the individuals and what they had in common…this was not the case in this book. It didn’t feel sexy or cute or anything of the sort. Very disappointed. Not to mention that somehow the internalised misogyny and blatant degradation of any other female character was worse that usual. It’s not fun to read nor does it make me like the characters any more.

One of the things that has me coming back to Cassie Cole's books isn't just the heat and the character development. It's also how well researched the subjects are. Time and again, I've felt like she's a SME (subject matter expert) on each of the topics - be it the gym rats, artists, baseball, etc. This is no exception. At a minimum, it felt like she had years of experience as a college administrator.

What starts as a bachelorette "after party" between one of the strippers and an attendee becomes so much more. It's messy and fantastic! I must say, the whipped cream scenes were mouth watering. This is the second book I've read today with that type of scene and now I'm craving my own can of fun!

The dynamics of professors and students mixing it up is taboo but made so fun, even if risky in many ways. Jessica, Dominic, Zack, and Finn do face some adversity before an HFN / HEA is possible. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

“I wasn’t feeling it with her,” he said. “She was… I don’t know. Fake?” “She did look like she had more plastic than a box of Legos.”

I kept seeing the book pop up on Facebook ads and in my cliterature fb reading group. I love reading reverse harem and forbidden romances, In this case professor/student. I think this is my first book where the professor is female rather than the student.
The story focuses on Jessica, History professor, Zach Jessica's student, Finn Zack's roommate- they are both strippers and fellow professor, Dominic.
This book was a quick read and I did enjoy but there was more steam than an actual plot, which isn't always a bad thing. When they confessed love for each other, you mainly see it through a physical aspect- there wasn't any other connection. When the drama happened it wasn't a surprise with the professor/student trope- they always get found out in the end.

Aww this book was amazing. From the start we see Jessica at a hen party wanting to leave. Until a sexy blonde man walks in with an equally sexy tattooed man. When she catches the eye of the blonde things start to heat up.
With Zack and Finn and her attraction to her colleague Dominic things start to get a little spicy.
With a few twists throughout the story we see things start to fall apart near the end to then come together in such an exciting and sweet loving way.

the cover on kindle unlimited is a cutesy cartoon cover, and is supremely misleading on what the hell just happened here. i barreled through this in 2 hours, and it was absolutely filthy. years of reading smutty fanfiction prepared me for what i just experienced here. this is the first reverse harem i've ever read, so while there probably is better out there, i wouldn't know. i thought this was great.

at the end when they all say i love you, i have no idea why. like i dont think there's any chemistry there aside from the physical, but that's all fine to me. the physical chemistry was INSANE. 'gang bang' is used as a positive term, and honestly, in this context, it is. it really, truly is. happy women's history month, i want to be jessica morris.

Oh. My. God.

This book was so entertaining. I could not put it down. This book is hot, it has a bit of everything. There's intense chemistry, forbidden love, secrets, and lies.

This is a reverse harem novel of Professor Jessica Morris, another professor and two younger men. This is the first book I've read by this author and I am absolutely in love with their writing. I will be checking out more of Cassie Cole's books.

This was a great read. It was sexy and it was captivating. The story had tons of sexual chemistry but also a suspense element that keeps you glued to the pages. Very well written, imo, and the characters read true and realistic. Yes, there’s some ethics that seem a bit blurred but it’s realistic enough that it doesn’t even matter! LOL For the price point, everyone should be downloading this gem!

A reverse harem taboo professor's - students' story. This was a steamy read and sort of explores the character's feelings but not too deep.

I would like this kind of extra credit. Jessica not only has to juggle her work but now, three hunky men who only want her. There's forbidden love, passion, humor, some twists and turns and this is the perfect book to relax and get away from life for a while.

So, I'll admit that I'm usually not the biggest fan of Cassie Cole. I've read probably four or five of her books now, and I'm always sucked in by the precis and then disappointed in the story. I find she generally spends way too much time trying to fit in unnecessary details about whatever she's researched and doesn't dedicate enough time to the actual relationship, which ends up either making it feel like the relationship is really forced or that one or two of the characters are just shoved in there so she can say it's a reverse harem.

This book, however, is much better about keeping the focus on the relationship. There's an outside plot (professor finding out she slept with a student), but it's not the main focus; it's just there to help move the story along. The main focus is how Zack and Jessica start seeing each other more because they actually do like each other, how Finn (the roommate) starts falling for Jessica, and how Jessica's crush (another professor) comes forward and wants a relationship, too. (There is still a bit of Cole's usual "too much unnecessary information" in here when Dominic and Jessica spend pages and pages discussing historical battles, but it's not as much as usual.)

I was actually a little nervous about how Dominic (the professor) and Jessica's relationship started. It did feel a bit cheater-y to me, and I've had issues with other Cole books with the heroine not being up front with the other men she's with. But I think it was handled a little better here. Although Jessica did start dating Dominic before confessing to the guys, they didn't start hooking up until the guys knew. However, it is still a little grey because Dominic doesn't know about Zack and Finn right away. So, it was better than Smolder, but I think still wish everything had been out in the open a bit sooner.

I think Jessica was a really great heroine, probably my favorite of all of Cole's heroines, and the guys are all great. They're each very distinct and feel like individuals, which is something I look for in a good reverse harem.

And the steam?

decription

Yeah, this thing is on fire.

Seriously, you should read it.

Earning Extra Credit after class hours

Extra Credit is the very hot and sexy story of Professor Jessica Morris who ends up with three men, never setting out for an RH relationship but not shying away from it either. It all starts at a while bachelorette party with male strippers and ends in a wild night of toe curling, sheet shredding sex for Jessica and Zack. Well to be precise that would be Zack Tupelo who ends up being a student in the naughty professors class. Zack's best friend and stripping partner is Finn and soon he has his eye also on Jessica. Then add in Professor Dominic Karlson who decides to ask Jessica out. Before she knows it things are getting wilder than this naughty professor ever imagined and the guys are all so different how is a girl ever to choose between them. Luckily she doesn't have to!

Cassie Cole has once again taken the RH trope and twisted the notch up another level with Extra Credit. I loved the fact that Jessica is older than Zack and Finn, as older can be very sexy also. Each of the guys are well written with their individual personalities woven into the story. Jessica is a woman that knows what she likes and is up for exploring to find out what else she might like. In the end she winds up in a totally different relationship than she ever imagined but one that fits all of them perfectly.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Fin heureuse garantie !

A great forbidden love story with wonderful characters that had me hooked from the start. Jessica wasn't keen on going to her colleagues batchelorette party but when she felt a connection with Zach one of the strippers. It was as if fate brought them together finding that they both lived in the same building & he also attended the college where she was the professor & when they got to her apartment they couldn't get enough of each other. Everything was ok as he wasn't one of her students until the next day he walked into her class they were both shocked it turned out the other classes were full & he had to take this one. They knew it was wrong & tried to stay away from each but couldn't, the sex between them was amazing but things got hotter when his room mate & fellow stripper joined in the party. Then when she started dating Dominic her fellow professor things went to a whole new level of HOT sex when three became four but just when everything seemed perfect until Dominic found out about Zach being her student. Dominic didn't want anything to do with her & she told Zach it was a mistake that it was over between them which really hurt Zach as he had fallen for her. When her assistant found out about them aswell & threatened to tell the head she decided to take matters into her own hands telling them herself. This story was off the scale hot but it was aldo quite emotional as they all had feeling for each other & had me desperately hoping the four of them could be together especially as Zach's heart was breaking. Another great story by Cassie Cole, I can't wait for the next one.

Oh. My. God. This author has absolutely done it again! She amazes me each and every time a read a new book by her. Idk how she continues to amaze me but she does. This book is nothing short of amazing and fire!

This one has everything you didn’t know you needed. Forbidden love, secrets, lies, and chemistry galore! This book is HOT HOT HOT. A book everyone should read..at least once..

Jessica is someone we should all try to be like a little more. She’s not ashamed in what she wants and likes. She’s smart, funny, adventurous, and so much more. Zach and Finn. Opposites in so many ways but that makes them the best of friends. Finn is aloof, smart, voice of reason at times, let’s things slide of his shoulders and so much more. He’s tall, muscular, dark eye, beautiful eyes, tattooed, and a trumpet player. Zach is blonde haired, blue eyed, and fills of sculpted muscles. He’s smart, funny, easygoing. Together the three of them are fire. Add in Dominic, Jessica’s colleague, and yes please! Whereas Finn and Zach are muscular and lean, Dominic is just BIG. He’s smart, compassionate, adventurous, and so much more. Together they fit like missing puzzle pieces.

This book is anything but boring or predictable. There are twists thrown in there that make you unsure of what’s going to happen. Scenes that will leave you panting. Chemistry that can’t be forced or faked. Scenes that will leave you laughing, and grinning from ear to ear. And a little bit of history thrown in the mix. What’s not to love. This is a MUST read. You won’t regret giving this book a shot.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a evolutionary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jessica Morris, Dominic Karlson, Zack Tupelo, and Finn. When this story opens Jessica has been invited to the bachelorett party. While their she finds out that they hired male strippers for the party. She has never seen them perform before but really all she wants to do it go home. The guys however make sure that everyone is into their performance and Jessica well she finds herself getting a little turned on by the whole thing. After it is over Finn is heading to a party and Zach he decides to take a ride share home. Who is he sharing a ride with none other than Jessica and they live in the same building. Jessica doesn't believe in coincidence but man should she have. The next day she find none other than the man she watched strip and then had sex with that night is her student. The college has a no fraternization policy with students and she knows she has just broken it. Things only get wilder from there a fellow professor Dominic suddenly asks her out and Finn well lets just he's up for anything. Can these three really find a HEA together or will who they all are make that something that is impossible?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will take you on a roller-coaster ride you won't want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I actually rated this 3½ stars, almost 4 stars but not very good enough to get there. Don't get me wrong, it was a good and satisfactory book, but since Cassie Cole was highly recommended to me, I was expecting something more. Her writing is very light and, of course, pretty steamy! I loved all of the sex scenes, either were they with two or four people envolved. The chemistry between the characters is pure fire, I couldn't get enough of them and that's why the amount of hot scenes don't become boring. However, in a romance, especially a harem reverse one, I want more than just it.

The protagonist, Jessica, is a great one: empowered, smart and sensual; I can see why the three men were so into her! My problem really was with her relationship with the male protagonists. Jessica and Zack had a well development relationship, we realize how they went from casuality to love. Even though I didn't like their beginning (it felt like a bit of cheating to me), Jessica and Dominic had everything in common, in bed and out of it too. But Jessica and Finn was so pointless there, I wouldn't miss them if they didn't end up together. And that's my main issue here: in a harem reverse romance, I have to feel that everyone belong in there, that everyone is necessary and wanted in that love relationship.

Despite this big anticlimax for me, the story is entertaining, sexy and catchy. I'm sure that I will read Cassie Cole again, but next time I hope I connect more with her polyamorous romance.

Jessica was invited to a bachelorette party and there were two sexy male strippers at the party that caught her eye. She ended up leaving the party early and was surprised to find Zach one of the strippers outside waiting for a ride to get home. Turns out that they had called the same company for a ride and they both lived in the same building. Things heat up between them and they hvae a steamy night together. However the next day they both get a shock when Zach shows up a few minutes late for class and Jessica is the Professor. That should've be enough to hault it for them but the attraction was too much and soon Zach's room mate Finn joins them. As if she doesn't have enough juggling going on Jessica starts dating her falculty crush Dominic and introduces him to the guy's but doesn't tell him that Zach is her student. What is going to happen when all her secrets come out? Will she end up all alone? Can their relationships hold strong from the drama?

This is a steamy story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Oh there’s a lot to untangle here.

First of all, there was no character development, no connection between any of the characters, it was pure smut, and overall there is no plot aside from the professor/student relationship between Jessica (the protagonist) and Zach (and that part of the plot was mostly there to add spice to the smut).

I initially wanted to read this book for the drama, but now I’m disappointed because there was NO drama at all. The conflict was resolved in almost only three chapters and the rest of the book was all about the characters doing the devil’s tango.

Also, them falling in love makes NO sense cuz they barely even talk about ANYTHING other than doing it and about getting caught. (Spoiler?) Dominic went on more than 3 dates with her (aside from the previous lunch dates on campus) and apparently all they do is talk about history? It doesn’t make any sense how they like each other in anyway other than purely physical.

Same thing with Zach, but Finn is what’s really useless. He was basically just there. No drama, no chemistry, no relationship, no connection. He’s just… there? Idk man.

Overall it’s meh, if you want pure smut (not badly written dare I say) then this is for you. But if you need plot like I do? Nahhhh.

Jessica Morris, a Professor of history, is invited to a bachelorette party involving male strippers. One of them, handsome blond Zach Tupelo, appears to be attracted to her. When Jessica and Zach share an Uber ride home, they are delighted to find they live in the same apartment complex. They end up having a perfect night together with thoughts of a friends-with-benefits situation – until the next morning in history class! Zach is her student!

They try to do the right thing and agree to not continue their relationship. But Zach finds that he doesn’t want to give her up. And his buddy Finn, a fellow college student and stripper, is also interested. In the meantime, Jessica started to date Dominic Karlson, a colleague in the history department and a former football star, who fills out his three-piece suit with delicious muscles. Can the four of them make this situation work out satisfactorily for each of them?

Wow, I’m amazed at her stamina but wonder when she has time to grade papers and prepare a lesson plan! Grab this fun reverse harem and see if they can manage to maintain their relationships while trying to keep their regular day-to-day lives going strong.

Just another great and hot read from this actor.
Jessica goes last minute to a bachelorette party and there she meets Zack and Finn who strip there. On the way home she shares an uber with Zack and they Finn out they are living in the same apartment building. What follows is a very hot night, a night they can’t forget.
But the next morning there is a hard wake up call, because he is in her class as a student and she is his professor!
Of course that can’t be happening, but the attraction between them is so hot and they can’t resist. His roommate Finn is the only one knowing about it and joins in the fun too. Letting Jessica discover that her one time threesome bad experience isn’t the real thing.
In the meantime Jessica is also dating another professor, Dominic, maybe she should keep it at that and not dating her students?
But what if the men are into sharing?

A very hot reverse harem and if it will be okay at the end? For that you have to read the book. If you are into a hot reverse harem story, you won’t regret reading this one.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I always look forward reading any new books by Cassie. She always gives a well written story that is steamy, sweet, funny but has drama and suspense. Extra Credit does not disappoint. Jessica is a professor that discovers she has had a one night stand with a student. Zach was a stripper at a party when they met. They agreed to put it in the past and not let it happen again. The tension caused by their attraction snaps when Finn is thrown into the mix. Dominic is a colleague who she has had a few fantasies about. He asks her out and becomes part of the whole equation. The four of them might be able to make their lives work together. They can find their happy ending if they can get thru the trouble that comes their way. I liked all the characters in this book. They kept you glued to the pages to see what was going to happen next. I recommend making time for this book when you do not have to put it down.

2.5/5⭐
3/3 🌶️

The writing really wasn't that great, but it was spicy. 🥵

Everything just kept working out in Jessica's favor, and honestly, that's just a little too unrealistic for me, even in an RH.

Jessica had no personality. Outside of being hot, there wasn't much to her. Even in her first lecture scene, she couldn't even pretend to get through it without tripping over herself. It was obvious she was doing something with Zack despite how discreet she was trying to be.

Dominic just believed Zack's feelings and that he wanted to keep pursuing Jessica? I don't buy it.

And then Finn... I honestly felt bad for him throughout the book. He was down bad and his "best friend" kept making fun of him for it despite claiming the same thing a few days later?

Overall the characters lacked the depth and development I expect in any book and while I enjoyed the spicy scenes (which made up the vast majority of the book, it's not a rom com with spice mind you), it was what happened outside of the bedroom that fell apart.

Cassie Cole has become one of my must read authors and this book is only 1 of the reasons why. Ms. Cole has a way of drawing you into her books with her fantastic storytelling and world building. Her characters are just so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. In our crazy world today it's such a pleasure to be able to escape into a well written book that leaves you feeling so good at the end. Dominic, Zack, Finn and Jessica's story is one of finding someone (or in this case several someones) that makes you feel alive and you will stick with them even in trying times. This book has everything that you could want in a book; comedy, drama, anticipation, anxiety and of course hot, hot romance (it is a Cassie Cole book after all). I have loved all of Ms. Cole's book but if you miss this scorcher of a book you will definitely be sorry.

see me after class…

Cassie Cole books can be hit or miss for me but she can always bring the steam. There’s a plot but heavily on the smut. Zach and Jessica had an instant connection and how they met was hilarious. Fate brought them together when they found themselves getting in an Uber share to the same complex.

However fate threw them for a loop when he ended up in her class the next day.

Eventually they add Finn, Zach’s roommate, to the mix for some added fun.

All of this is going on while Jessica is seeing fellow professor Dominic. I felt a definite connection between those two because they are the only couple who actually did anything but get physical.

Finn added major spice especially when he showed up at her evening class, however I’m not sure I ever felt anything more between them.

The ending was a little too fast paced but I’m happy they worked it all out.

Zack and Finn were stripping at the bachelorette party where Jessica was. After the party Zack and Jessica shared an Uber pool to the same block of apartments where they both lived and they had amazing sex
Next day turns out she was his history professor. They tried to kee their hand off each other but it was impossible then Finn his roommate and friend started wanting her then they had threesomes
Dominique worked at the college too and he started dating Jessica but pulled away at sex because he had exotic tastes but he learned about Jessica’s exotic tastes too and he joined in on group sec with all 3 men.
They started sleeping together but Dominique didn’t know Zack was her student until he went into her class. Her teaching assistant made her go to the dean to confess but Zack said he would drop the class but Jessica didn’t wanna do that so she told the dean and got a warning and they all carried on in their relationship together

After a party Jessica shares a ride the stipper Zack then share the night only to find out that he is a student.
Associate Professor Jessica Morris of Des Moines State University attends the bachelorette of a colleague which includes two strippers. When she leave she calls a Uber and gets a ubershare which turns out to be the blonde stripper who lives in the same apartment block. They enjoy the ride and both end up in her apartment where she and Zack spend the night together. Then as she is talking to her new class of the semester a late arrival and when she looks up she is shocked to see Zack and the University has strict rule about Professors and students that could cost her her job. The semester becomes both a joy and a nightmare as she finds herself drawn to him.

This is another College reverse harem story that was enjoyable to read and review. This theme based story is about Jessica a associate professor of history who attended a bachelorette party and meets Zack and Finn who are stripping. When Jessica calls a Uber to go home and Zack thinks it's his they then realize they live in the same building. They talk and spend the night but then Zack shows up in her class which makes it against rules so she starts seeing Professor Dominic. Zack won't give up on his relationship to Jessica and when his roommate Finn also wants to become involved with Jessica and they become a foursome. Will Jessica be able to keep their relationship quiet, will she lose her job? Great characters, steamy romance and a very enjoyable story in this ARC I volunteer to read and review via Booksprout and the author.
