Great take on the Djinn. Enjoyed the characters and plot. The family dynamic with the Kisments was super funny. My favorite were the twin girl cousins. It was a little slow for my tastes because of the main character Syn. She was so wishy washy with her self loathing it got to repetitive for my tastes. By the second book every few pages it was her same self doubt or loathing. I started skimming hence the 4 stars. Still a good series and would recommend.
I loved the storyline but it needs an editor. Lots of misspelled words or the wrong word completely. If you can look past that the trilogy was a great read
It was decent, but I really felt like the FMC wasn't realistic. For instance, she was in a serious car accident which left her scarred and her best friend dead, but less than a year later she's in the back seat of a car while the driver swerves in a nd out of lanes, at high speeds around other vehicles and she has no problem with this. She also acted very immature for a young woman who had gone through everything she had. All in all, it was alright. I finished it... though I did skip some portions due to the issues I mentioned.
This was a wonderful tale with twists and turns aplenty! The emotional scarred Arsyn is a pleasure to watch as she finds herself and her place alongside the Kismet Brothers. But its not without peril and many moments where you doubt there will be any HEA... you'll have to read to see if they get it! Worth every ignored adult responsibility it took to get to the end!
The premise was interesting enough but the execution was lacking. The world building was all info dumps rather than actual storytelling. There was no real character development by the end of the first book and the relationship building was flat since everyone was a stereotype. The grammar issues were minor, thankfully, but there were still errors. I don't feel the need to read anything else by these authors.
Bought this book series because it was on sale for 0.99$. The First book was fine. I kept going thinking it’s not so bad. By the second book I just couldn’t take the Female Main Character anymore!!!
* I hated that she was so wishie washie in her relationship/future/career. Like everything! * There was no sex scene until book two * I feel like the book needs a good reediting because there are spots in it that the sentence repeats words in the wrong order.
Going into this book with only reading a little bit of the blurb was great. The push and pull of the FMC and MMCs was balanced. I did find it slow in some parts and other it was rushed. Parts I felt that could have been dragged out a little longer and some that should have been shortened. Other than that, writing was great story was super original and the love was intense.
This book positively surprised me! I laughed out loud so many times and was took on a wild ride from the Jinn. I totally loved the entire series and it definitely kept me on my toes! I would love to see one more book to see a couple of the storylines wrapped up, but otherwise a wonderful read!
This series was absolutely fantastic all the twists and turns Just love syn and the kismit brothers . She had a hard life and know nothing of wish magic not going to give anything away just dive right in and u guarantee u will not be disappointed absolutely fantastic series
A very interesting take on Djinns, hadn't read much on them before, the story builds slowly and the characters relationship forms slow but strong. Anita always writes beautiful books and this trilogy shows just that
I loved this series!! I couldn't put it down. Hands down a great read!!! Once I started reading, I instantly fell in love with the characters and story of their epic moments
The author left one big question unanswered. The conclusions drawn by the main character to further the plot were not believable... No one makes the same mistake that many times.
Amazing ending to a great series! I loved the idea of Jinn and conduits. This book made my laugh and cry and laugh again. I loved this series and I’m sad that it’s the end.
I loved the story and the world that was created. I loved the Jinn. They had cool traditions and way more fun to read about than just plain witches. 🤩🤩. Can't wait to see what else the authors have written.
Arsyn is a conduit for four Jinn brothers. but she grew up with no magic and no knowledge of the life. She must learn and fight a great evil at the dame time.
What a wonderful ride these books are, watching ( in my head) Arsyn come into her own with her guys was amazing. The connections were built slowly but not without some bumps in the road but still a great read.
