Skylar Ritchie

Most would say I’m living the life. I’ve got my own place, a job that I love, and the best freaking friends in the world. What more could I ask for?
Sophia Belmont, that’s what…or who.
She’s my best friend, and I’ve fallen for her. I’ve dreamt of us being together since the first day we connected.
However, there’s no way I can risk losing what we have, or can I?

Sophia Belmont

Ever fallen for a person behind a computer screen? I have.
What I didn’t know was I’d be living under the same roof as my favorite Youtuber. Fast forward a year, and she’s my best friend and fictional girlfriend.

See in my mind she’s mine, but that’s where my little infatuation will stay.

Warning: If you’re looking for some angsty drawn out story between star crossed lovers…runaway now. This is a low angst, short story about finally confessing your love to the one you have a crush on. These two are in love they just don’t realize it’s mutual. This is also a modern love story full of all the internet/social media apps known to man and a whole lotta foul mouth heroines.

Most days you can find Pixie running around trying to juggle 100 hats...one of which is Author. BTW, She still can't believe that's what she gets to call herself one. What started out as a passion for book blogging turned into publishing her very first novella...Sealed With A Kiss.

Pixie who is part of the LGBT Community, writes MF, FF. & MM stories that are sexy, insta-love stories full of heart and with a HEA.

Her characters not only fall quickly, deeply, but are also possessive in nature. If she's not writing, then she's on Facebook...Tell her to get the hell out of there and get writing.

There is something about Pixie's writing that is just so enjoyable to me. Yes these books are short af and instalovey af but it just works. They somehow still feel developed and I believe 100% in their romance, despite only getting like 70 pages.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Playing for keeps is the first book in the ‘’campus’’ series and it is the sixteenth in the ‘’forever safe summer’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Skylar is a well known gamer that is in love with one of her best friends. Sophia has been in love with Skylar since before she met her in person. With feelings being mutual between them, will they ever make a move?
The chemistry between Skylar and Sophia is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Playing for Keeps

As always Pixie Chica has knocked it out of the park! Sophie and Skylar are perfect for each other. I'm glad they finally figured it out and got their Happily Ever After!

Completely safe and free of abuse and cheating, no other women drama, no others after meeting. No mention of previous relationships/partners. I really want Leo and Henry to get their own story so fingers crossed that that is coming in the future.

Happily ever after

These two characters were like if my two most awkward best friends fell in love. Your going to roll your eyes at the them and be like really you didn't know she was crazy about you. Then you'll have your sigh of relief when they finally get together! Great book loved every minute of it!

I really enjoyed reading about Sophia and Skylar! I loved the side characters and I hope Leo and Harry may get a short story of their own 😍 I loved the two epilogues, I just wish we had another intimate scene between them because we don't get enough of lesbian insta love stories❤️

Really sweet story. Friends, to roommates, to lovers. Everyone knows how Sophia & Skylar feel about each other, except of course Sophia & Skylar. It's a lovely story about two people who are finally brave enough to own who they want.

Gamer girls!

Sophia is me in relationships to a T. I'm always super worried about every angle! Sky is swoony and the typical social oblivious gamer girl! I love me a nerdy love interest! ❤
