Gray I screwed around for years, drifted for a few too many, and then I found a home with the Dark Leopards Motorcycle Club. No, we’re not all leopard shifters, but we do all have one thing in common. We don’t fit anywhere else, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The pull to find a mate was never in my blood like it was for so many of my kind. Not until recently, anyway. Each woman who caught my eye also lost my interest just as quickly. That was until I saw her. Lying face down in the alley, her sweet coppery blood tinged the very air I breathed. I felt the pull and did what was necessary to ensure she survived. Keeping her safe from the men who attempted to steal her pelt meant she had to be claimed. Mated. Mine.
Chantal I knew my legacy and the dangers that lie in wait as a result. Still, I attempted a normal life. I tried to keep who I really was hidden so deep down that no one would ever notice me. Unfortunately for me, someone did notice. They forced my hand, my change, my fate. As it turned out, my fate wasn’t so damn bad after all. Not once Grayson Brewer stepped in to save my life and make me his.
Christine Michelle runs on coffee and giggles as she writes her angst-fueled romance stories (motorcycle club, rockstar, paranormal, college, & other contemporary as well as women's fiction and marriage in trouble novels). She is a mom to four humans (2 girls, 2 boys – all grown now). When she's not writing books, she enjoys reading, drawing, hiking, or feeding her soul with live music at concerts. Christine is a traveler and has lived all over the USA (and other parts of the world). She currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with her two fur babies.
Unfortunately I did read this book and I'm still giving it a 1star! It wasn't one of her better books. I have read previous books from this author and enjoyed them very much, not this one. I did happen to come across a post on Facebook from this author about a reviewers post, that irritated me. The reviewers left a 1 star because they were unable to download a book. They also stated this in the review as well, never mentioning anything negative about the book or author, except to state they enjoyed the authors work and really wanted to read the book. The author then proceeds to blast this reviewer on Facebook . Stating that they shouldn't do this to authors because it's not their fault but Amazon's. Which I can agree to a point! What I won't agree to is then for her to turn around and proceed to explain how the reviewer probably has to many books and needs to delete some in order to download more. As if the reviewer is an idiot and doesn't know how to do so already. She then proceeds to explain that she doesn't look at reviews unless someone points them out to her, so don't bother trying to get ahold of her thru them! She states that if you've read previous books of hers then you know how. ( what if you hadn't?) My issue with this is the reviewer never said anything bad about this author, actually stated that she loved her books. But because they put a 1 star review stating that they could not download the book. She takes offense and blasts all over Facebook. But keep in mind she doesn't read her reviews unless someone points them ( negative ones my guess) out to her. I apologize to the reviewer that was unable to download the book, and did what any of us would have done and left the 1 star as well. I hope you get read and enjoy the book at some point! (And yes it was a completely different book from this one.)
Starts off a little stuttery, but it evens out. Some things were new to me and very interesting. Good read, I thought. Good on the steam. Kept my attention and I loved the world building.
Definitely a 5 star read! Shifters are a newer read for me and I’m absolutely in love. The alpha! The connection! The action! If you looking for something new and wonderful, Read this one!
An excellent start to this new series. Good characters and plot along with some twists and turns plus action and romance. Overall a very enjoyable book. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
I really wish things had gone differently for all parties affected. Wonder what will happen to the culprits and if they will ever heal from the betrayal. I was hoping we would be seeing some little cubs in the mix. I'm all excited to see what's next.
I loved a more inn depth novella about Gray and Chantele. It was amazeballs. I loved getting more of a peak at Bomber and Brace. I need more and Christine Michelle and Bella Hickman better get to writing. Loved it so much!!!
OMG this is an amazing start into a world created by not one but two incredible authors. If you love books about supernatural worlds than this is a MUST READ! I can't even express excited I am to read more of this series!!!!!!
I'm going to start this with say this is not my normal read. With that said I LOVED IT!!! I can't wait for the next book (please let it be soon) I was so caught up in the story before I realized I was at the end.
Holy crap From beginning to end I couldn't put this book down. The highs, lows, twists and turns kept coming and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I fell in love with all of them and they I'm so happy they got their happily ever after. I can't wait to read The B Team.
Not sure what took me so long to read this but it was amazing! Love the extended version, you guys are so talented! Anyway people, read this book you won't be sorry. Can't wait for book2!
Wow, this novella took me on a ride of a lifetime. Gray and Chantal is what you would call soul mates, pain recognized pain, they have to do what they have to do to survive and they succeeded in getting their happy ending, they're truly are made for each other.
I loved this beginning of a new series by these phenomenal women. These new characters are so original and refreshing compared to the recent offerings by other authors. Great read!
This is my first book by these authors and while I felt that the book had a lot of potential and a decent plot, something was off for me. A couple of plot holes and predictable themes, but overall a decent read. I’m going to definitely read the next one.
