Golden Angel’s alter ego Sinistre Ange has come out to play,and she took one of her stories from Dark Tales and expanded it into a delicious gem filled with exquisite torture of a helpless slave.

One that chose to Serve her Sentence as a slave for a year,instead of doing 10 in prison. Thinking that year can’t be thát bad....right? Serving a Master? Obeying him,whatever he demands? He can’t do any permanent damage,he’s not allowed to harm her. So....she should be fine....right?

Only,there’s more than she bargained for. The man that buys her is a sadist,and having a man like that using her to satisfy his cravings might turn out to be too much....especially with the added surprise he has for her.....
How will she get through this year? Will she still be herself at the end? In one piece? She’s certain she’ll never steal again,but what wíll she do after the year is up?

I enjoyed this dirty little gem,a LOT! I díd need a cold shower after most of those very hot scenes....but you won’t hear mé complaining!
In fact,i look forward to needing more of those.....lol

I received this ARC for a honest review

I didn't know if I wanted to read this book, even though I like almost all of Ange's books... I was afraid there was no HEA, and there isn't a traditional one. But the ending is the one the characters wanted so I was ok with it.

The book is pretty short, so you can read it in a few hours. It's also super, very light on plot, like VERY LOL. I find that if my mood is right I don't care if almost nothing happens. What did happen was sex, lots of it! I mean, the heroine is one happy woman(when she listens to master and sir). Noelle isn't sure at first if she really wants to go through with her auction and then with the sentence, but deep down, she wouldn't have it any other way.

When you're in the mood for a short, scorching hot novella pick this one because you'll have fun reading it.

A quick and dirty little read. FMC is a convict that is looking at 10 years in prison or 1 year as a sex slave. She chooses the sex slave option. What follows is her year being shared between Master and Sir, two sadistic alphaholes. Sexy, hot, and yummy!

I just read this book today and I really loved it. This book is Dark and the main character is a Sex Slave who gets shared.

You should be prepared for quite a bit of BDSM with paddles, whips, canes and spanking with the hand. You should also be prepared for lots of hot sex scenes with blow jobs, BBQ, Vaginal, anal and DP scenes. I thought that the sex was hot and I liked how the scenes were described.

One of the reasons I really like this writer is that she describes everything really well. You really can put your self in the story when you are reading a scene in this book. I liked the ending and the epilogue that is included.

I really like that we only get one POV, because it's the one that interests me the most. I like that we get to see into Noelle's head and watch her struggle with what's going on. I don't think that it would've been so interesting to see what happened in Damien's head.

This was really just hot, filthy, obscene, dirty, and smutty. And it's alll in just the right way. It's fantastically awesome.

This is my first Sinistre Ange book and hopefully not the last time, I thoroughly enjoyed the hotness and world this book has. Where committing a crime can get you prison time or time as a sexual servant. With only one year compared to 10 in prison plus a fat bank account which would you choose? What a dilemma this can be when faced with your sexy new Masters. A great bundle of hotness awaits you in this book. A word of advice is to have your favorite BOB handy.

Noelle, was a misguided innocent until she chose to be a sex slave for one year rather than go to jail for 10. As the story moves through her sentence there is nothing redeeming about her masters but Noelle does come to realise she is a masochistic submissive. She is abused and never treated with any consideration and of course no safe word, but when she is released she is lost. This book is filled with sadistic sex that provides untold pleasure for Noelle, but it might make you cringe if you are not into pain.

Deliciously dark and dirty

This book was so freakin hot!!
Noelle chooses to be auctioned as a slave for a year instead of serving a 10 year sentence in jail.
She is bought by Master Damian and is instantly confused with how much she’s craving the pain he inflicts.

“Don't hold back any sounds from me...If I can't hear you, how will I know I'm hurting you enough?”

This was a quick and dirty read with lots of delicious steamy scenes that will leave you all hot and bothered. I loved it! It left me wanting more of these characters and I would love to read more about them and maybe get a glimpse of their future!

If you’re in a mood for a shorter read with sizzling hot master/slave dynamic I definitely recommend it!

What's wrong with people?

Anyone who would read this and even have the nerve to fantasize about it being true and just..just. so wrong! And are soooo very much my people! I know that this couldn't ever happen in reality, not for the reasons that probably most people would think of, but Because people like myself would be constantly trying to decide what crime they could commit to get this type of sentence!

There really isn’t much of a story to this, it’s just pure smut. I usually love books by this author’s other pen name, Golden Angel, which is why I read this. Her books are always wonderfully smutty, but they also have romance and a guaranteed HEA. Although this book did have a HEA (kind of, sort of), there was no romance to it at all. There was no relationship building between the characters, just lots and lots of sex, which frankly got kind of boring after a while. I will be sticking to books written by Golden Angel from now on, and will steer away from books written under this pen name.

I have wanted to read this story that is an expansion from the short in Dark Tales. While I did enjoy the story, the characters. The one thing that was a little annoying to take a star away was some of the words I have no idea what they are. I love to read, but if I need a dictionary that loses it mojo for me. I did read this as an ARC. The flow of this book is done well. I do recommend this book.

This is the lowest I have ever rated a book. I actually would like to leave it blank. This is very much sort of consensual non consent. Noelle thinks she knows what she is signing up for but doesn’t really so actually it is non consent non consent. Her mind says no but her body reacts as if she likes the sexual torture. There is really no change from beginning to end...it is just one long torment after another. I didn’t find it erotic or even interesting. I kept reading because I thought things might change and they do not. This type of book is not for me.

Noelle was caught stealing from her employer and having spent most of the money so couldn't repay it, was given a choice prison for 10 years or to be sold into slavery for a year, sexual slavery that is. She chooses to go down the route of being auctioned off thinking she can cope with a year out of her life and be rich at the end of much better than serving 10 years behind bars, the deal being any money made is split 3 ways, repay her debt, then the rest equally between her and the government.
Noelle is bought by Damian and from the very start she is knows exactly what she will be subjected to, pain and lots of it and pleasure but only if he says so, she still has one last chance to back out of the deal should she wish, but she chooses to continue with her year of slavery. She is led naked from the auction to Damian's waiting car, shared with Sean and that's just the start of Noelle's year as a slave.
The sex scenes are hot, hot, hot, the dynamics between Damian, Sean, Damian's foster brother and COO of Damian's company and Noelle even more so, especially because the story focuses on Noelle's mindset towards everything, so you get consistency, a truth of how the character feels about everything happening to her including the inner conflict she feels.
I found myself not wanting the book to end, I know that authors are constrained by book size, word count etc, but I just wanted so much more of the story.
This book has to be one of the hottest and most enjoyable books I've read in a long time and I for one can't wait for the next Sinistre Ange book.

I borrowed Serving Her Sentence through KU because I’ve been in the mood for harsh lately and a penal punishment kind of story felt like it would work. Also the cover really drew my attention.
So, here’s what you need to know about this book. It’s more bdsm erotica than romance so going in you should be aware that this isn’t really a love story. It’s listed as sci-fi because of the world setting but there aren’t really any sci-fi aspects in it that I noticed except for it being a different kind of culture and world.

It’s heavily focused on anal discipline and sex and pretty low on plot which isn’t a downside if you are looking for a hot erotic BDSM read, which I was. Noelle exchanges a year of sexual slavery for the years in prison she would have received. There is very little affection shown to her except for the mention of cuddling on a few occasions. She is treated harshly, and she hates it, but only on the surface. Underneath it never fails to arouse her.

The ending felt a bit rushed as it jumped from fairly early in her year of service to 11 months later and the end of the service. It ends with one final scene with the three of them and they give her something permanent to remind her of them before she leaves. There is an epilogue with a sort of happily ever after, but for the most part this book is about filling physical needs on both sides. It felt like, at the end, that there were hints of actual feelings happening, but it ends before we really see that play out.

I enjoyed it, and if you’re just looking for some filthy smut with lots of kink you’ll enjoy this.

What an interesting concept. A government-sanctioned and approved option to the problem of prison overcrowding. Noelle has been found guilty and convicted of embezzlement from her employer. On the day of her sentencing she is given two choices:
1. Spending ten years in prison
2. Putting herself up for auction ending in one year of servitude.
Against her attorney's advice, Noelle chose to put herself up for auction knowing whoever made the purchase would have complete control over what happened to her. There were stipulations of course. The purchaser could not do permanent, physical harm, she would have one day of a week off from her responsibilities, and it was mandatory she attends sessions once a week to make sure she was mentally coping with things satisfactory.
In Noelle's mind, she could tolerate anything for one year. It would definitely be better than losing ten years of her life. What she didn't realize when she made her decision was being accountable to two men; one Master and one Sir or the fact that she would mentally do battle with what she thought was acceptable by society standards and the cravings these two foster brothers seemed to pull out of her. This was such a dark, erotic story, told in vivid detail that just made the heat factor increase exponentially. There is no deep plot, only a telling of a year in the life of three individuals. I would recommend this book wholeheartedly.

This was darker than most things I read, but I wanted to dip my toe in because I love books by this author under another name. And while at times I was a little "I'm going to stick with the other books" I still enjoyed this one. But again, super dark. It delves into consensual non-consent, punishment, humiliation, lots of things. If any of those things aren't for you, don't pick up this book.

That being said, it was still interesting and the characters grabbed me enough that I enjoyed it. I admit, there wasn't much plot, but there was enough to keep me going and I overall enjoyed the book. It was intense, there were lots of conflicting emotions/thoughts going around all over the place (and now I sort of want to see things from the non-heroes' sides) but that just made it better. I can't exactly express how I feel about the book, but I know it's in the general positive direction so I'm leaving it there until I can be coherent around it. If you're into dark and just want the sexy times, give it a try. If that's not you, maybe check out Golden Angel's books instead.

The slightly darker alter ego of Golden Angel, Sinistre Ange’s latest offering is a standalone short novel. We follow Noelle, a young woman convicted of financial fraud, as she chooses to commute a long term jail sentence to a reduced sentence of just one year as a sex slave. Doesn't sound like a reasonable storyline? It’s fiction people, doesn’t need to be realistic.

This was a great, naughty little read. The storyline isn't going to challenge your brain, we’ve pretty much covered the whole story outline in that one sentence above. But my oh my, it was a lot of sexy fun. As you might expect, it’s jam packed with very steamy sex scenes. Heavy on the BDSM and humiliation side, and our heroine finds herself surprisingly, fully on board.

If you love this author, or are just looking for a bit of kinky fun, you’re going to love this book. A hot read to warm you up on a cold winters night, and a definite 5 stars if we’re just rating on the sex! Enjoy, people. I certainly did.

A dystopian romance set in the future where criminals can become slaves for a shorter jail sentence. Noelle is one of these criminals and follows her journey in servitude. I almost feel like I would of liked this book better if it had been two books. There’s two big time jumps in this book that I wish didn’t happen. I would of loved to read more about Noelle’s year as a slave but instead only got the first month and the last day. The scenes were good and steamy but I felt cheated out of the story with such a big time jump. We only get told how she deals with her servitude in the beginning and then her sentence is up and we never get to know how she got so attached to her masters or what else she had to do as a slave for a year. There was a lot of potential in this story but it slightly missed the mark.

There is so much to say about this book. Firstly, it's dark. This book went into things that at times made me uncomfortable to read about. Unless you're willing to accept that, probably choose something else. Secondly, it's about sex. Kinky sex. Dark sex. Sex with more than 1 person. Sex with implements. Sex with dubious consent. Sex with pain. In fact, there is so much sex there's not really much room for plot or character development. Again, unless you're willing to accept that, probably choose something else. I'm not a huge fan of dark romances but I like this author and haven't read a dark story from her yet and I was curious. While I would have liked to find out more about the characters, it's not that type of story. Overall, this story will pull you in and while you're wondering why you keep reading, you'll know that you won't put it down until it's finished.

This is a very dark and addictive read
This was a very different read; it is dark and extremely hot and there was a definite depravity within this story that once you begin reading you will not put it down until you finish reading and discover the outcome.
Noelle has been discovered the crime of stealing was identified and the choice of sentence is to either be incarcerated within the jail for ten years or she could become a slave where she would be instructed and commanded with no say in her year’s servitude.

Has she made a mistake? Can she endure anything for one year! How bad can it possibly be? When does pain morph into pleasure?

OMG! This intense and exciting story pulled my emotions from low to high and so much in-between! It made me wonder, and look closer, and try to decide when, where and why. This is an excellent rendition of a young woman’s inner growth and her acceptance of her life.

Dark, Thought-Provoking Read!!!!

What if instead of a 10-year prison sentence, you were able to give up a year of your life – to a person who could do whatever they wanted to you? You spend an hour with the winner of your auction and are given one more chance to change your mind.

Wow. This is dark. It is also fascinating. Noelle figures she can handle anything for a year. She doesn’t count on Damian having a partner; with whom he shares everything.

I was blown away by this quick story. I had no expectations as this is a new author for me. The storyline was intriguing serve your prison sentence or serve a master for a year. This story is far more complex than that, as it leaves little to the imagination. We follow Noelle from her acceptance of her prison sentence through her year of service. Not for the faint of heart, this story kept me riveted, and whispering "WTH" often. A sign of a good read.

What’s in a year?
I love when Golden Angel writes as Sinistre Ange - it’s always intense M/s, allowing fantasies to fly free and deep.
In Serving Her Sentence, Noelle is awakened to her profoundly needy masochistic and submissive desires as she serves her chosen year-long sentence as a slave.
We’re told almost nothing about her Master and Sir, but I felt like I understood them through their penetratingly shrewd and erotic dominance of Noelle.
This book is hot af and I highly recommend for those who enjoy deviance spiced with a bit of tantalizing darkness.

A standalone book by Sinistre Ange taking place in a world where a convicted criminal can choose to go to prison or to take place in an auction to be sold for a year in sexuual survitude. Noelle chooses the later, because she can deal with anything for a year, right? I loved how we got into Noelle's head and experienced all her conflicted emotions and feelings.

It is a dirty, very steamy book. A total smut fest. I enjoyed it a lot.

This is an excellent, short, novel with a female inmate choosing to serve her sentence as a short-term slave to two masters.

The interesting part in this book is that the State monitors her during her sentence and attempts to deprogram her afterwards. That doesn't work.

The sex is intense. The characters are quite interesting. The ending is to be expected.

This is NOT a typical BDSM romance. Which is why this is under the Sinistre Ange label rather than Golden Angel.
