Chaotic Endeavors: An Urban Romance Story
Chocolate? Check. Tall? Check. Fine? Check. Has his own money? Check. Smart? Check. Knows how to please a woman? Double Check. Chance Douglass knows a two things, tattoos and women and that’s all he cares about. He had one motto, never get attached, let them know from jump they weren’t anything but sex partner and if they stepped out of line? They had to go. He lives his life to the fullest and if you expect an apology then your barking up the wrong six foot three-inch-tall tree. So, moving to a new town to open another successful tattoo shop seemed like a no brainer. Even if the move is temporary, he was still down for a little fun. That is until he sees her. At the airport, but he was busy handling business and could stop. Then the bar but someone from his past needed her more. So, when the third time presented itself? All bets were off, any and everything was possible. Everything done has a reason, every move has to be thought out before executed. List all possible results before going through with any plan. Be logical, set days for certain things. Never do the unexpected. Queen McDaniel has done the exact same thing for the last twenty years, and that’s play chess. But now its time to retire and move on with her life and her friends just want her to have a little fun. Be open, explore, if it sounds like a bad idea then do it, date a little and if push comes to shove don’t say no. Chance has something that she wants, and his price is fairly reasonable. Four dates. That’s all he wants, and she can walk away a very happy woman. What neither of them expected was to constant interference of life. Her mother can’t back off and let her make her own decisions and his brother’s cant stay off the women that they love bad side. Every time they turn around something or someone is pulling them back. This unsuspecting duo are in for it, but nothing in life that’s worth it is never easy.

This is my first read by this author... I can say that I did enjoy her writing style... This book had a nice steady flow to it... It moved pretty quickly and held my attention... The beginning of this book had me a little confused momentarily because it kind of read like there was information that I should have known already... but it slowly started revealing the information that i needed and started making a little more sense to me... I do like the characters and how they interact with eachother...
I like Queen and how she handles herself and knows what she wants and will not let anything or anyone come in the way of that... Not even her mother... She stood her ground and searched for her own happiness... Her mother was just Waaaaaay to much... I don't use why Queens dad would just sit back an not even say anything about how his wife was being and interfering in their grown children's lives... Just because she got one of the siblings named Tempest to do what she wanted definitely does not mean that she can control all of her children's lives... Well Queen stood her ground and ended up meeting a man that made her smile and just overall enjoy life... Yet she knew that her mother would not approve... But that didnt stop her from enjoying their time together...
Chance was a man that all these woman wanted... And he was so use to woman just doing whatever he wanted and he didnt have to put in work to get them... But then this one beauty crosses his path and shakes up his way of doing things... He actually starts having feelings for a woman and is actually working hard and going out of his way to impress her and make her smile...
Now Queens mother is stiring up so many problems... I am like what is wrong with her... Why is she so pressed about Queen getting married and to some men that she wants her to that Queen does not know... Now see what her actions have caused... Then for her to turn around and blame this on Emmanuel... Come on woman... What is wrong with you...
Now to see how everything will turn out... Will Queen be okay... Will both families come together to make sure Queen is okay... On to part 2 to find out...

I WAS READY TO GIVE THIS BOOK 4 ⭐️ BECAUSE THE EDITING AND SPACING WAS HORRIBLE FROM BEGINNING TO END, BUT THE BOOK WAS SO GOOD. THEN IT ENDED ON A CLIFFHANGER WITH NO PART 2 IN SIGHT🙄🤬.

Chaotic endeavors is literally is that. Chance and is damn brother are grown but live a chaotic mess. Hell the women they have chosen were a whole thing separate. While Chance and Queen live completely different lives however they start to fit. I loved how Chance was a man who had women doing whatever he wanted, but he in the end ended up putting in so much effort to get queen’s attention to agree to for dates. Once he started catching feelings, I knew it was the end of his old ways. The family dynamic are vastly different. Queen’s siblibing needed their father to speak up more. Her mother was a mess and really felt entitled to her kids, future and all the moving and playing parts in it. She irritated me the entire book and the daddy two for not speaking up. I hated how the mother acted so oblivious to what was going on in the parking lot and for everything to play out in front of both families with queen. I really can’t wait to see how the mom acts now and how the rest of the family will act towards the mom. Chance I hope gets some answers and is able to freely be with Queen and Queen freely be with Chance without all the extra chaotic mess that was surrounding them. My only draw back is the second part is not out and I have to wait to continue the story. I’m ready for Queens broth to snap!!!!!!

This book was soooo good and there were so many moving parts!!!…I love how Queen and Tommy looks out for each other and make sure they are unified when it comes to their mother!!!…I was also glad that their father finally said something to her!!!…
Ohhhh this was good and I can’t wait to see what Queen’s momma has to say now!!!…I was so irritated by her whole attitude and her sense of entitlement over her children!!!…
I hope Chance gives Queen an opportunity to explain what she meant about not introducing him to her family!!!…
Anlee is a tough cookie and I love that she is giving Choice a run for his money!!!…

This book is good and very refreshing.Queen is amazing and so is Chance. I love the siblings the grandparents and the parents are hilarious. Queen mama gotta go. Its something's wrong with her. You need a better proofreader
I enjoyed the book but trying to figure out which character you are writing about was difficult because names were in the wrong place and sentences were jumbled. I’m an avid reader of your work and I have never seen this in any of your other books. I just couldn’t comprehend sometimes what you were trying to say, it I still love your work. I still can’t wait to see what happens in part 2😘

Good Read
This book was good. I liked Queen. She was so laid back. I thought her and Chance will make a good couple once they figure their stuff out. Now her mama is another story. This book is by a new author and she did a good job. I can't wait to see what she drops next. Hopefully it will be part two to this book. Good job.

I really like Aubry j's books. But I don't know what was going on with this one. It was a little too slow for such a short book. But I kept going just when I thought it was going to pick. BOOM...it hit a climax then. BOOM again & it was over. With no #2 in sight & it is horribly edited.

Well, dang....
Chance & Queen! Honestly, I did not like this story until about chapter 8. The chemistry was there with Chance and Queen! It just took so long for them to meet. Ugh. The ending of the story messed me up.

Well Wow
This is my first time reading a book from this author and I must say that I'm not disappointed at all. I liked the fact that there wasn't a whole lot of back and forth with the couple's.
