Julian & Felisha are back and this time there's more drama than ever! Felisha finally gains the independence that she came to college for but will it be at the expense of her relationship? Julian finally has the basketball career he's dreamed of since he was a kid but it comes with more than he bargained for. Join Julian and Felisha on this FINAL ride and find out if they can handle everything life throws at them.
This book was the business and Falisha is my QUEEN!!!! The Queen of get back. I loved how she was so petty. She made Julian feel her pain. There will be no Falisha slander tolerated, she gave Julian his own medicine times ten. Like a typical man, he wanted to do his dirt but couldn’t handle pay back. I’m glad Julian learned from his mistakes and took steps to be a better man. I loved that Falisha made him work for it. Best book ever and definitely worth the wait!
The toxicity was way high, but I’m glad book 2 didn’t focus too much on the past. It was enough to have the reader appreciate how far the couple had over come. I’m not gonna lie- Julian was probably prince of gaslighting and playing victim. I’m happy Jenesha realized her error when she called herself confronting Felisha. Because her and Jurki were WAY out of line. I had no sympathy for what he saw.
The entire beginning of the book, he was telling his version like all of Felisha’s action were overreaction. When chiilllleeee this fool was trying it from the very beginning. He just thought she would pressed like those other broads, but she knew how to get her lick back. Her biggest downfall was not being able to cut his behind off. Which made me annoyed with her time and time again. However, we got to experience more change than we had with previous couples- I believe.
It was great with Julian finally got his ish together. A black man going to therapy tends to always be a good thing. In this case it was an excellent decision.
It took them a very very long time to get their ish together. But better late than never.
The Gabby aspect of the story was a bit too much, but whatever. Janae was a total bird. So none of her antics surprised me.
Overall good. I think I’m almost done with this series. I really wish Chanel and Charmaine (or whatever her name) had their own story. The side characters are just as interesting as the primary.
Cion Lee is top tier with writing this toxic mess and I’m eating it all up and complaining at the same time. 😂🤦🏾♀️
So Julian and Felisha just made my fave couples list!! I honestly was thoroughly entertained during this series. My biggest issue (with both books) was the editing. The same grammatical error EVERY SINGLE TIME. That def took away from the reading experience but not enough that I won’t continue reading from this author. 💜
I stand by original comment but I love this book just the same. Cion created a world that I am obsesssssssed with.
Finished both books, another banger from cion Lee. I read Chanel and Blaze first and then I went back and read Felisha and Julian’s story. This was a wild ride. I loved the time jumping in these books, it’s so crazy to see how they started and then you jump to the future and they can’t stand each other. Made the book more interesting to see the build up, the break down and then to see it all coming together was amazing. The plot twists was crazy and I really never saw it coming. My jaw was on the floor
Now my thoughts on Julian and Felisha, mannnn Julian had me f***ed up. he played with Felisha for real. Cion Lee really knows how to write realistic male young characters. the situations and arguments that him and Felisha would have are so realistic and grounded in reality. I was literally having flashbacks of certain issues in the past that I’ve had that kind of mirror, Felisha and Julian‘s relationship. The character development was great for both of them. Felisha deserved so much better in my opinion but I’m glad they worked it out. Being and young not having that frontal lobe fully developed. Is going to create emotions and situations that you’re not ready for especially when you bring kids into the picture and I think cion lee wrote that very well.

All the Martelle men have the same thing in common.. Audacity.
Julian was insecure because he know his $#!t wasn’t clean. How you mad ya girl getting to her own bag. You should want her to be independent but he wanted a female he can control and wanted her to depend strictly on him. Ion like that. I gotta hand it to him tho he is a great father and provider. I love that. I was happy to see him mature and take accountability. Felisha was cutting up. I was here for it.
But babyyyy the drama was drama-ing. I knew Gabby was to good to be true. Janae was just annoying asf. She was so jealous spirited it was sickening.
Overall this book was definitely better than book one. Book one was cooking up and this book served. The typos be killing me but this was goood yall.
Julian and Felisha really went through a lot to get to their HEA! Gabby with her crazy tail, Janae another delusional individual were both so problematic, I'm surprised Julian didn't have Johan handle both of them. Saint met with a terrible fate. Even though they went through breakups, baby mama drama and a demonic half sister, they finally got together! I loved how Junie was treated just like Juelz and how Julian did the work to be better and he showed he loved Felisha and his kids so much! My one complaint, too many errors, A good editor was definitely needed!
Okay so the toxicity was on 1000 with these two. I lived that Felisha didn’t just take his shit, she was getting her lick back. She was walking away. She was dumping him. Julian slowly kept seeing that he doesn’t like when she get her lick back. I love that Julian eventually held himself accountable. He knew something was wrong with him. He knew he was fighting demons. I love that he got himself some help to be that man Felisha needed. Their growth was impressive. Julian learned not to play with Felisha lol. She gave him hell, just like he gave her hell. But their growth was beautiful and their hea was well deserved
This series will take you through it! But I promise it’s worth it. How part 2 top part 1? When part 1 was just as bomb? Junie and Juelz stole the show. I love them !! Felisha and Julian. Whew mannnn, Knuck if you buck ! But my gosh the growth these characters displayed was amazing. I Aways feel like the “That’s All Me” characters are my family every time I read them. The future storylines with new hookups and couples are already some heat. Check this series out, very much bomb!
Wow, what a journey between these two. I read parts 1 and 2 back to back since I waited on the complete series and I wasn’t disappointed. Although I have KU, I’ve learned to 1 click so I can read over and over again. I love the format with the flash backs and present and eventually flash forwards. Although it had the usually Cion Lee ingredients of a bomb female lead that could carry herself without a guy, I couldn’t predict how things would go with this couple and that made the series even better!
It took a loooooong time for Julian to get back in my gold graces. That man had audacity in spades. There were so many times I wanted to jump in this book and go off, but my girl Felisha handled her business, consistently. I love the way she handled him. Although the pettiness was top tier, he deserved it. It was refreshing to actuall see him have the ahaa moment of he was responsible for all the mess they were going through so he had to fix it. Whew. This book was probably the best one yet.
This dang book had my emotions all over the place. Julian and Felisha know they took me through it😂 I knew it wasn’t going to work with Gabby and Julian,I also wasn’t expecting her to be bat💩crazy. Janae needed to get it together, now she was delusional 🤦🏾♀️ I’m jut glad that everything worked out for everyone. You will not be disappointed, SO JUST GET THE BOOK🥰
This was the last of the Martelle family books that I haven't read and I enjoyed Felisha and Julian's story just as much as the rest. I can't get enough of Juelz and Junie. They are so adorable. I was eager to get the inside scoop on Julian's story when the other books said he had 2 babies on the way with 2 women. His story did not disappoint. I loved seeing the growth with Julian and Felisha individually which allowed them to find their way back to each other.
Cion, You did your thing when you wrote this. I had to stop at like 73% and just pause. I’m like, “Damn this girl is writing baby” Nah bur frfr, this brought out another side of you. Like you took it to a whole nother level with this. You’re definitely a superb fucking author!!! -Chasmine
This was a really good book but I only gave it four stars because of the typos 🤨. Julian and Felicia they've been through some ups and downs but the love never waned between these two. I'm so happy Book 2 came out. It's nice to see that these two finally got it together. I really enjoyed their love story.
This was my first read from Cion but it won’t be my last! I was entertained by the drama throughout the entire series! I loved that Felisha dished Julian some well needed karma cause he was definitely a hypocrite. In the end, I loved how they matured and got it together. There was some errors but it didn’t take too much from the book.
I enjoyed this read. Took some hours off work for self care and it was worth it. They had a tough journey but I was glad to see Julian address his issues away from his relationship with Felisha...that was important. This is my 2nd favorite couple in this family. Well done Cion 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Julian & Felisha is like my #2 favorite couple. Their level of pettiness but yet the love they have for each other!. To see them grow from petty kids to grown ups & a family!!! I love the fact that the characters are so realistic & we got to see it all!. I look forward to hearing about this couple again. I LOVE IT
Ms. Ma’am ate DOWN on this one. I’ve been working my way through Cions catalogue and I think I enjoyed this one the most. I thought I’d get tired of the flashbacks/past to present monologue but it honestly brung the story together beautifully.
I love a good coming of age story! Definitely recommend for anyone that likes to see growing pains. These characters are definitely petty and learn from their mistakes along the way. One thing about Felisha is she definitely not one of them!
About 85% of book. I felt like end was a bit rushed and the topic of the Felicia and she who must not be named was brushed under the car. I enjoyed how she used current events throughout the book.
When I tell you it was everything I was waiting on. Baby I knew it was going to work out like that. I love every book she writes. I love this book. It give me life #teamfelisha
So yeah I’m happy gabby is out the picture cause that hoe was going to have to see me with her crazy ass. I happy that Ju got his shit together full 360 was made great read as always
It’s always a good trip going to the Boot. I loved their growth as a couple. I also love that Felisha and Ju went through real things with real reactions. Great job as always.
I can’t believe how toxic Julian and Felisha were lmaooo! I loved every minute of it, and I couldn’t stop laughing at them! I’m so happy they finally made things right though! This story was definitely a good read! Congrats Cion!
I know the book was lengthy book but I’m just wanted more . This felt so realistic, it was truly a merry go round with these 2 tit for tat and I enjoyed the pettiness. This author never disappoints, can’t wait for the next one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I simply couldn't put it down. I loved the storyline and the characters. Julian and Felisha were characters everyone can relate too. It wasn't trashy. Not a lot of sex scenes. I can't wait to see what you come out with next
That was great I loved how they both evolved in their personal life and relationship. I was so happy when Julian started going to therapy that was the turning point of his growth.
After reading the other couples I didn’t think the drama could be topped but baybee! These two wore me clean out and I actually liked it! LOL I kept re,,entering the age/level of maturity while I SMH’d over and over but whew! What a story!
Through all the drama and the toxic behavior love was still present. It was just the journey to get there that was crazy. This book was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
