Fractured Prelude by Winter Paige
I don’t know if it’s a me thing and this one just didn’t catch my attention. But it felt like we were dropped in the middle of a plot and I had no idea what was going on. I tried looking stuff up about it and what little I found said it was shocking. But even though I barely knew what was going on I didn’t find it shocking whatsoever. ⭐️⭐️

Fuck the farm, move in with your grandpa’s permanently. Lol, dick recipient and dick giver, that’s pure gold. Holy smokes! I honestly wasn’t sure about this one, typically 25 years is about as high as I’ll go as far as age gaps. But I have absolutely no complaints except I wish it was longer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We Are Chaos by Yolanda Olson
Well this is a whole new take on brotherly love. I loved all the secrets and the revenge was sweet. By far my favorite of Yolanda’s from this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

Devon never stood a chance against Blaise, that shit was inevitable. This one’s definitely a slow burn but it burns so good. I’d definitely break all the rules with him. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Butterfly Kisses by Ally Vance
This one just didn’t work for me and that shocks the crap out of me. Coterie is one of my all time favorites from this series, plus Ally’s story from the first anthology was pretty good too. I think it was too much build up, too much angst and it was annoying angst at that. ⭐️⭐️1/2

This was a double whammy! First off excellent coming of age discovery of BDSM and second delightful taboo between brother and sister. So fucking hot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Love Trips by K Webster
Yes I read this one out of order because I obviously had to save the best for last.
Who wants double the fun when you can have triple? I love that this is emotional, it’s sad but interesting that each of the triplets were abused by their father in different ways. The camaraderie, the adoration and the love these brothers share is beautiful. It’s crazy that she crammed a full story into so few pages but I loved every minute. They came into this world together and they’ll leave this world together. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lieutenant Blaise Samson is a man who deserves his own book, an entire 300 page book. I could care less about his niece and nephew. They were just there I guess. But Blaise, the man says shit like “She was the forbidden fruit, but damn if I didn’t want a taste of that - of her. I bet she’d be sweet too. Like honey. Sticky and sweet.” Or how about this beauty “The moment I push my cock into your tight pussy, it’s done. It’ll be me and you against the world.”
How can you not want a moment with that?!!
The complete Lakemere series is comprised of four interconnected stories. The author hasn’t mentioned if this will ever be republished as an omnibus, but we can all cross our fingers and hope!!

4.5 Hotness Stars.
A Final Family Affair is hands down, my favorite out of all of them. I read it a few weeks ago and slipped my mind into writing a review, and now I feel like I want to reread it. All stories are either four or five stars—a first in this series for me.
I would love to see each author write a full-length book from each story. Each will have a small summary of my thoughts on the book.
Fractured Prelude by Winter Paige; Five stars. My very first read from this author and will not be my last. I was left wanting more of this story. Rachel is my favorite heroine. That girl is a spitfire and highly intelligent. And Andrew, hot as sin. God, I love his reaction at the end.
Escape By Cole Denton; Five, yes, this is one steamy, wrong, and yet so hot stars. Jared was raised with strict parents in a small farm town, needs to escape, and is sent to live with his grandpas in Miami. Don’t get grossed out; they are young and free-spirited. Jared sure does have an eye-opener experience. Again, I was left wanting more. This is my number one favorite in this book.
We Are Chaos By Yolanda Olson; Five messed up stars. I love the authors writing, and I am always prepared for a messed up story from her, and that is actually what we got. Plus, it’s steamy as hell. This story is not for everyone. I don’t have any triggers. Read your trigger warning.
Love Trips By K.Webster; Five yes, this is about triplets stars. K. Webster always writes outside the box and is one of my favorite taboo authors. The story is highly steamy with a great plot. My only complaint is I NEEDED MORE!!!!!! Another favorite
Indecent by A.A. Davis; Four Hello Hot Uncle Stars. I love the plot of this story and will say this story is more in-depth and would make an excellent full-length book. For that alone five stars, I am not a fan of fade to black. So I minus one star. Overall it’s an excellent story.
Butterfly Kisses By Ally Vance; Four His Obsession Stars Here is where some people will not agree with me, and it’s okay. I 100% enjoyed the story. Did parts Of the male protagonist go too far? Yes. However, it’s part of the story and would take away from it if it didn’t happen. It’s called obsession. Again, I have no triggers. I was not a fan of the female protagonist and her development.

I will come back and write a review for each story. For now I stick to my original thoughts, Jennifer Bene and K Webster had the best stories. I did not read the stories in order but will write my reviews in the order that the stories are listed. Also, I do not think this is a spoiler but just in case it might be for some- I will include the type of incest each story features. I appreciate when reviewers briefly explain the type of taboo relationship of each story.

Triplet Brothers. 42-55%. A sweet story of three broken boys finding their own way in the world. I thought the scenes where they were together were tender yet hawt. I would absolutely love for this one to become it’s own extended book, so we can get more of their history and see how their relationship progresses.
Our Little Secret, by Jennifer Bene. 4 stars
Brother/Sister. 81-100%. This story was longer than all of the others, which allowed for extra time to get to know the characters, before and after their hook-ups start. I think that this one is probably my favorite so far. But I wish that we could have seen them explore the contents of the box.

Mom/Son & his brother. 27-42%. Okay, I have to say, as a mother to a high school aged son, this one had me freaked out to read. I know it’s fiction, but some things you just can’t get out of your brain, no matter how much bleach you use. That being said, it somehow takes the top spot so far, just slightly edging out Our Little Secret. I’m not sure exactly what it was, but I was completely drawn into this one. I wish that more would have happened before Tegan was introduced to the storyline, but I can’t really complain, because it was written so well that I got over it fast, and just enjoyed how it played out. I’m not sure how I feel about what happened during the ending, but it wouldn’t be a Yolanda Olson story without a tiny bit of death.
Incident, by AA Davies. 3.5 stars
Niece/Uncle. 55-70%. Another one that I wish was longer. This one stopped just when it was getting good! So hopefully that means it will get its own full-length story. I loved the family dynamics for this one, it made me curious for the rest of the family history, and I will be waiting impatiently for more of their tale.

Grandpas/Grandson. 12-27%. I absolutely love MM stories, and while this one was hot and taboo, I just didn't connect to story. I’m not sure what it was exactly. I thought going into it that I would not like the fact that it was grandparents with their grandson, however that didn’t bother me in the least. Hector and David seemed very young for their age, so don’t let that age gap scare you off of this one.

I feel like in comparison with the previous two volumes this one wasn't that great, I found myself skimming some parts because I was getting bored throughout a story but overall as always it was really enjoyable and a great read id you're into very taboo and crazy shit.
FRACTURED PRELUDE- ⭐⭐⭐- I don't know if this was already part of another series I hadn't read or about characters we were supposed to know about and care enough to follow the entire story but for such a short story I had a hard time understanding WTF was happening at the beginning.
ESCAPE- ⭐⭐⭐⭐- I have to give this one 4 stars in the first place because of how freaking original it was, of course, it wasn't hard to figure out where the author wanted to take the story but it was still so good.
WE ARE CHAOS- ⭐⭐⭐⭐- As always Yolanda Olson delivering mind-twisting stories with a side of the most forbidden taboo in history. This one was really good, I liked that in so few pages Y.O. could bring up so many factors of distress for the characters but also deliver an amazing short story.
LOVE TRIPS- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- This one was my favorite out of all of the stories. I adored the triplets. This short story came packed with amazing characters and a heavy plot that turned out to deliver a magnetic and just incredible story.
INDECENT- ⭐⭐💫 - Hoesntly this story was interesting but it ended on a fade to black note first of all and it just left you there. I don't know it felt a little lackluster for me.

But now that they are eighteen, they escaped and now finding their way out of hell into a brighter future. Together. Like it always had been. Forever. ♡
This was awesome. So wholesome. I loved how they treated each other with so much care, tender- and mindfulness. Could have read about their HEA for hours.

So I got a chance to read Cole Denton’s story Escape in Family Affairs volume three. The story shows the reader what life is like being sheltered from a very young age. Sometimes you need to go out into the world on your own and find what it means to live. As always, Denton dives right into the nitty and gritty of experimentation of his characters and makes your jaw drop. Another slammer by Denton, and as always, he keeps you wanting more.

Just like the other ones, this anthology was pretty good but not all that. The plots and characters were interesting but only 3 specific stories really stood out to me. That’s just me though. Nonetheless, a great closing for this taboo anthology.

I loved this emotional and steamy read. Definitely a highly forbidden book which as always, had my name written all over it. I don’t know why there’s no blurb and barely any reviews but this novella exists and it’s really good in my opinion.

meh, i’ve read better than this story. it all felt far too rushed and i felt little to no connection between the MC’s. especially from A.A. Davies, i was hoping for so much more but that, unfortunately, did not happen.

holy crap this was so hot. i mean it. probably my favourite story out of the entire anthology. definitely started off on an iffy start but it didn’t take long to convince me how good this story would be and long behold, it was so good. i absolutely loved it.
Carrick was…something else. Both characters were not someone i have never read before but Carrick just had something about him that really had me wrapped around his finger.

holy fucking shit, this was such a mindfuck that i’m left speechless. this story bounced from one thing to another so quick yet i somehow managed to enjoy it all. at first, i wasn’t sure where the story was gonna go but i definitely did not expect that. this story was so so hot yet extremely fucked up…the fact that i devoured it all speaks high volumes about me. sorry not sorry.

I’ve previously read this story like a year ago without knowing it was apart of this anthology so here’s the review I left on it when I read it so long ago.
I loved this emotional and steamy read. Definitely a highly forbidden book which as always, had my name written all over it. I don’t know why there’s no blurb and barely any reviews but this novella exists and it’s really good in my opinion.

Jumped into reading this in hopes of a sequel story by Charity B. from the previous anthology.
I have definitely reached my taboo quota-maybe for the year!
I recommend reading this for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stories.
* Fractured Prelude-Winter Paige This wasn’t even a good hot mess. Story and characters stunk. The taboo was cousins? 🥱 M/F
* Escape-Cole Denton ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent writing and very nice characters. Ohio farm boy goes to Miami, FL to stay with the gay grandpas. MMM
* We Are Chaos-Yolanda Denton ⭐️⭐️ The weirdness of the inner thoughts and the dialogue kept this MFM from being hot.
* Love Trips-K Webster ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ When K Webster is at the top of her form, her writing is smoking! Poignant, too. The triplet brothers were wonderful.

* Indecent-A.A. Davies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firefighter uncle takes in niece and nephew. I would read this as a full book. I love hurt comfort and this had it in spades. The older sister protecting her little brother. Excellent characters. The uncle they had never met was such a good guy. Powerful M/F chemistry.
* Butterfly Kisses-Ally Vance I would knee this dude in the balls. Obsession and non con at college between almost the same age uncle and niece. There’s a right way and a wrong way to write taboo and this was the wrong way.
* Our Little Secret-Jennifer Bene When I got to this last story and realized there is no sequel here to the Charity B. story, I read just the beginning of this one. The F is foul mouthed and a complainer and I was tapped out on taboo.

I just finished reading Escape by Cole Denton featured inside the Final Family Affair Anthology. I'm a big fan of Mr. Denton's writing. One of my favorite things is that he is never afraid to push buttons or write outside the pretty little box of romance. And Escape was no different.
This quick and dirty little tale was over too soon! This was a great story about a small-town guy finding new experiences in a place one wouldn't expect. I was fully immersed in his self-discovery and left needing more.
If you love and devour dark and taboo reads, Cole Denton has it all under his belt and Escape is a great place to start to get your toes wet.
Oh, and by the way... O-H!

Okay first I am leaving my review for 3 of the stories.
Cole Denton, K Webster and A. A. Davis. Each story was absolutely amazing. A.A. Davis's was sweet and very pleasant. K Webster's was dynamite. Cole Denton's is off the charts. The writing and flow of the three is done well. Grab the Anthology and enjoy it.

Escape by Cole Denton is so good!
Escape is definitely a taboo story (like this anthology). It will not be for everyone. This trope is not one I normally read but this story was mentioned to me by a friend who asked if I would be open to reading something new and different. I’ve read some of Cole’s work before and his stories are well-written, pack emotional punches and will have you eager to expand your reading horizons.
Jared is eighteen and wants nothing to do with the family business. He wants to go to school and use his academic knowledge to pave his own future. While his father doesn’t agree, an opportunity arises for him to leave home for the summer and work towards his goal.
The relationship between Jared and the other party took me by surprise. I was not expecting who it turned out to be and I thought that was an interesting and creative twist. I love how Cole refers to his characters by their first names. This made it much easier to read through for me with time exploring this new trope. I love how the characters feel safe and secure with one another to explore this new curiosity that sparks between them.

Fractured Prelude by Winter Paige 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Holy moly this story it was dark, gritty and messed up and i loved every second of it. I am a big fan of Winter Paige's writing. She writes such mesmerizing, twisty stories that kept you begging for more! I don't typically ready this trope but when i saw Winter is going to be part of this anthology i knew i need to read it and so damn worth it! Rachel is crazy and wicked and Andrew omg!!! Reading this origin story made me fall more in love with him. And that end plot twist was like whoa!! Damn i didn't see that coming lol.
Fractured Prelude is a total standalone novella. For new readers, it’s an introduction to Devastation world. And for fans, it’s a bonus in this world we all were looking forward to.

These are wonderfully twisted and terrifically taboo stories for sure.
Jennifer Bene's Our Little Secret is definitely an interesting story. I always like it when two like minded people manage to get together and get what they need. Blair and Carrick know what they like and are willing to work with each other to get what they need. Of course, being a Jennifer Bene story, there's more to it than that, but it was hot like fire.
