This thing with Rory, Marlowe, and Kaleb … this isn’t a relationship.
It’s an entanglement.
It’s been months since they promised they’d never leave me, that they’d protect me, yet still they keep me at arm’s length. Their world is a mystery to me, a thing veiled in shadows. No matter how much I try to get to know them, I’m only allowed to know one half of them.
The other half, the wolf shifter half, they keep from me.
What they don’t understand is that in order for me to be with them, I need to know all of them.
I need to be let into their world.
I need to be one of them.
But that would mean breaking the one rule that’s impossible to break.
Wolf Broken is a full-length romance novel with multiple love interests. It’s the second book in the Wolfish trilogy, a paranormal series where the main character has no intent to choose just one of the sexy werewolves who’ve fallen head-over-heels for her—whether they like it or not.
⤅ This book is just an even crappier retelling of Twilight.
Or to be more, specific, New Moon - that one where Edward leaves Bella 'for her own good'. Let's review the similarities, shall we?
NM: hero leaves heroine to protect her, and because he refuses to turn her into a supernatural creature despite her insistence. Heroine starts doing suicidal, reckless things, sometimes with an OM involved, in order to 'feel alive again'. She thinks she can hear the hero's voice while she's doing them.
This Book: heroes leave heroine to protect her, and because they refuse to turn her into a supernatural creature despite her insistence. Heroine starts doing suicidal, reckless things, sometimes with an OM involved, in order to 'feel alive again'. She thinks she can hear the heroes' voices while she's doing them.
NM is a sh*tty enough book on its own without having to read it again like this. The whole book is just Sabrina being obsessed with turning into a werewolf, then obsessed with killing herself once the heroes leave her. There's a ton of unnecessary melodrama in which nobody comes out of it looking well, she acts like a weird combination of brat and doormat, and by the time I got to the end of this thing I was just grateful it was over. The plot makes zero sense and the characters are barely better.
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Wolf Broken is the second book in the Wolfish series by Eden Beck. This book was a quick and exciting read, I didn't know where the story was headed but I was glued to the seat the entire time.
Sabrina has totally changed from the first book, Wolf Bonded, to this book. At first, Sabrina was a responsible teenager who not only took care of herself but took care of her mother as well. She got good grades stayed off the radar to stay safe but after meeting the Grey boys Sabrina's life has changed. For the first time, she is being a careless teenager, who doesn't have a care in the world and is totally in love. This is the first time I've read a book were the teenage mfc went from under such pressure to finally allowed to act their age, it's a totally new thing for me.
The boys in this reverse harem kinda pissed me off. They care about Sabrina but they also discount her feelings sometimes or don't think things through and Sabrina is hurt because of it. Also, the secrets they keep from Sabrina caused a lot of problems and hurt when they don't have to. I understand that things have to be kept secret but other things could have been told to give Sabrina some reassurance, I mean she is the only human in this new world of supernaturals it's gonna cause some issues.
After the events in Wolf Bonded things were left unsettled so when I started reading Wolf Broken it had an ominous feeling, I was just waiting for something bad to happen. Basically, this entire book had me on edge wait for what horrible event lay in wait for Sabrina and the guys. This book had a dark feel to me and when something happened it still killed me. I'm not gonna lie the situation reminded me of a similar scene in a certain popular teen book/movie series (jaw dropped), I didn't mind it, it was appropriate for the situation.
Wolf Broken went by pretty fast and more information about the shifter world was revealed. With the steamy romance, new characters making an appearance, family trouble, secrets be revealed and so much more made this a pretty good book. The end of Wolf Broken left me with that unsettled feeling again but it also gives me a little hope for what will happen in the next book, Wolf Bargain.
This book had my heart do all sorts of crazy things! From being totally elated, to sad, to worried and back to happy. This book really had all the feels. Sabrina returns along with the boys and we get more insight into the shifter world and what really goes on in that private world. Sabrina seems to really loose herself for a while and it's a path we all could have taken (or have already taken) when everything crashes around us. I'm really excited to see where Eden takes this story in the third and final book!
3.5 stars for Wolf Broken by Eden Beck. This is book two in the Wolfish Series. I did shed some tears during this book. I felt bad for Sabrina in this book and even the guys. I will say that this book was extremely better than the first. That fact that we got more insight into Sabrina, Rory, Marlowe, and Kaleb’s relationship. I am looking forward to the next book.
The plot of this book is basically twilight. It had the same vibe in the first one, but this second one feels like straight up copying except with multiple boys. The boys are straight up jerks. They don’t talk to her, ignore her feelings when she tries to kind of communicate them, and get super mad when she tries to fix things herself. There is very little relationship development between Sabrina and her guys. The timeline isn’t very clear. Has it been weeks? Months? They talk about it being a different school year, so that helps a little. I’m going to finish the book, because it’s an easy read and I’ve come this far. But all in all it’s a pretty meh read.
This is the second book in the instalment and I feel like this is the saddest book in the series. This book does include miscommunication so be aware.
So basically it was all fine in the beginning and that she feels left out and not included and on top of that they don’t tell her shit and that they’re not allowed to be with her because she’s human but also that if they mated that if she left or died they would die as well since their lives are fairly longer than hers. Then shes desperate and stupid and does the unthinkable and goes to Romulus’s brothers territory or house and asks him to turn her or help her and refuses her with a few snide comments and let’s her leave his land without being killed only this once since she’s wasn’t invited and that it would be a shame to kill her as if. Then Remus the brother goes to Romulus and tells him everything and basically all the brothers have to leave because of what she did and they didn’t want to and it pained them but essentially it was either she’s going to die or leave and they did out of the love they had for her. When they leave she gets into a depressive state and starts acting out towards her mother who deserves it because she still talks to her abusive husband that hit her and his own daughter which made then essentially leave in the first place. I can’t believe her mother has the audacity to act like a tenacious child sometimes and acts like a drunk and pretends there’s nothing wrong and that she goes to work but really goes to see her father because of the overdue notices. Sabrina basically skips school to do reckless things like climb tress and cliffs with no safety equipment or whatsoever. One night Tom invites her out to a party or bonfire and they eat mushrooms that make you hallucinate and she hallucinated Tom as Rory and started making out with Tom perceiving him as Rory and then Rory was actually in the woods at the time watching her and saw another humans hands on her and went haywire and tried to kill his uncle to which Vivian and her came to stop him just in time but Remus was there with his pack and Rory with his and Remus make his brother swear that Sabrina will never be turned and that a woman would never come between the packs, due to the brothers past with a woman who died and she was human which made Remus into a grump and obsess over full blooded wolves or some shit. It was hot and heated at the end but there is essentially no smut or sex in this book. I’m finally relieved when Romulus finally accepts their bond and finally allows there to be a time and date set for her turning and joining the pack. FINALLY.
Solid 4.95/5, I just wish there was no miscommunication.
After reading the first book, I was interested to see how the relationship between Sabrina and the guys was going to work out. Promises were made to be closer, a pack, but there are still so many secrets being kept. I understand why they are keeping information from her, but man, cut the girl some slack and give her something! Just enough to ease her fears of being forgotten. Jealousy, inadequacy, and loneliness are just the tip of the iceberg of what Sabrina experiences in this book. I can't say that I was surprised by how some of the events turned out, based on how the guys treated her, but Sabrina's personality and emotions took a path that was unexpected. The adrenaline rush she got when doing certain things, it was much like a person addicted to drugs and needing that hit to get them through the day. I can see her reasoning for this, no matter how extreme it seemed, because she was feeling emotions on a dramatic level and getting back a piece of herself that was missing--her guys. There's definitely something different and special about Sabrina. She's unique in the way she is a human yet connected to the guys in the way that she is. It's unprecedented but a nice little twist. After the ending of this book, I can't wait to see the changes that Sabrina will encounter in the future. I have high hopes for her and her guys, even if they were jerks during part of this book.
I received this as an arc a few days before it came out. I was super excited to read it as I absolutely loved the storyline of the first book in the series, Wolf Bonded.
Overall, Wolf Broken was a good read with a lot of angst, anger, love, betrayal and grit. There were parts of the book that seemed to lull or just be sort of a "filler" to the storyline, but in the end I definitely recommend this book and cannot wait to read the next and final book in this series. There is a cliffhanger at the end, so don't be surprised if you're left speechless and wanting to know more. I need to know more about the FMC, who she really is!!!!
The character development progresses in a natural way and you can see that each one is multifaceted in the best way. Where this book suffers a bit is dragging out scenes and/or jumping fast from one idea to the next. I know that sounds a bit contradictory, but when you read it, you'll see what I mean.
Like I said, overall I would recommend reading it, especially if you read the first book. This is a great 2nd book in the trilogy and I can only hope that the final book will answer all the questions left hanging from the first two.
I do like the story, you just can’t help but be drawn in to it but I wanted more from it, there are a few too many similarities to Twilight - the guys leave Sabrina in order to keep her safe and ensure she stays human, she plunges in to a massive depression until she realises whenever she does something reckless she hears howling. Meanwhile Rory, thinking Sabrina is now lost to him forever, goes off to get himself killed so it’s a race against time to stop him. Finally they all realise they can’t be apart and decide to allow Sabrina to be turned.
Im committed to the series now so Im going to read the next book but I’m hoping the author can take it in a new direction bringing something fresh to the story.

Wolf Broken is the 2nd book in this series and I really enjoyed it. The MC, Sabrina, has changed a lot and gone through so much in this book. This series takes you on her journey of growth and discovery as she realizes her bond with the wolves and learns to stop pleasing others and live for herself. This series is a slow burn RH that is so full of emotion that you feel what the characters are going through. Eden Beck does a great job building this world and there are a lot of surprises along the way. If you're looking for a quick and sweet read this is your book. I can't wait for the 3rd book!
I've seen reviews comparing this series to Twilight and it seriously angers me. The only similarity is wolves exist..it's like comparing apples and oranges.
What a a fantastic ending to another great book in this series!! I’ll admit I thought of chucking my phone a couple times due to what happens within these pages, thankfully I didn’t. But the thought was there and that was all do you fantastic writing, expressive words and plenty of action. This book has left me empty hearted Due to the fact that I don’t have the next one to fill my mind and heart yet!! The way may very well kill just like I’m sure waiting is killing our main character, Sabrina. Ha. Overall there was a fantastic bond created, hurt and later rebuilt and I can’t wait to see where this goes!
This is a great start to a new series! Wow! I fell in love with the characters immediately. This is a slow burn book but you still get all the feels and it leaves you wanting more from the characters.
Sabrina and her mother are running from her abusive father. They try to go off the grid as much as possible. This lands them living right near some wolves and 3 of them are irresistible to Sabrina. She is their mate and they are not allowed to turn her into a wolf without causing a war.
I cannot wait for book 2 in the series! I am looking forward to seeing where this goes with Sabrina and her mates! I think things are going to get interesting.
Oof. The hurt Sabrina went through while being alone, i felt for her. She felt like she wasn't herself without the boys after being abandoned, coupled with the fact her mom is pulling away from her- i was hurting for her.
After moving to their new home and meeting the boys, Sabrina was instantly attached to them. But their constant trying to stay away just tore her apart. But i feel like it was needed for her bond to fully form and for her to realize that what she's feeling is her absolute and total need for them.
I loved the ending to book 2, it was a perfect ending! I'm excited to read the next!!
This second book had my emotions all over the place and I loved that. The relationships between Sabrina and the boys are heating up and there's still so much left to discover. I loved the unpredictability of the story, giving it a nice edge in the wolf shifters genre. I couldn't put it down, needing to find out what will happen with the bond, the characters and the intricacies of plot. Exciting from start to finish! And that ending had me itching for the final book!
Wow this book had my emotions on a roller coaster. Sabrina had some major ups and downs in this book. Even though the boys are adamant they are doing everything they do to protect her. Unfortunately for them the bond is stronger than any of them realize and she becomes utterly lost. I love at the end how Ramulus finally sees the errors of his ways. Can’t wait to read the final book!!!
I like the book, but I'll be honest, I sometimes think about what I would do in that situation and then I get irritated that they MC isn't doing what I would do. I know, silly to think but it really made me mad the way that they made her feel and she just accepted it and kept going on like nothing was wrong, until she finally broke. I mean I can't blame her, everything she has gone through, and then the way the make her feel and not listening... Starting the next book now!
There is so much emotion throughout this story. Three shifters bonded with a human and do not realize that somehow she also feels the bond. It is unheard of within the packs, so no-one really believes. Sabrina ends up doing something that threatens the safety of the packs that Romulus is the lead Alpha to. Changes happen that hurt Sabrina, Rory, Marlowe, and Kaleb. You get caught up in their lives that you cannot stop until you find out what happens.
Oh Sabrina, I wanted to shake you throughout most of this book. Her actions made me want to scream but to learn towards the end everything could have been different if the guys just shared one secret. She's searching for a family that she could never have with her own but being blocked by unwritten rules. I still think Tom is shady and I'm still holding out that she's part wolf.
This book was crazy. I definitely got some twilight vibes from New Moon you’ll know the part when you get there. I feel like so much happened but not enough at the same time. Sabrinas’ mom, I don’t know where to begin but man what a neglectful parent. There’s suspense and drama. The world building is great. Definitely read book one first because there are some references.
I liked the story enough to buy book 2, even though it was pretty juvenile.it was still sort of sweet. Then the author plagiarized Twilight! The whole guys leave the girl and girl keeps doing reckless things to bring them back...I’m out. I hate when authors steal from another author. No excuse.
Sabrina, at times I wanted to shake her and at others hug her. The interesting thing about this book is it reminded me a lot of twilight without the annoying wining Bella had. I loved how with the important scenes that they were realistic and immersed you to the point that you find yourself hoping for a positive outcome...
Then you might enjoy this series. The long, over-drawn out immature sexual conflict. The parents' addiction's effects on the child. The "It's all about me. Everything is my fault. I'm powerless. I'm the victim. I will get my way any way I can - especially if it's the wrong way"
I tried.... as a writer myself I couldn't finish. It started out interesting could ignore some familiarized. But, I grew up with Twilight and it wasn't just similar... all I'll say. Wish it would've gone in a different direction created by the authors own imagination. If Meyer sees this... I don't know.
Sorry for such a low rating on this book but in truth it was one of the worst I have read. It is like a copy of so many other books that I have read mixed up together but less exciting with forgettable characters. I won't be reading any of the other and I do feel bad as I know all the hard work and heart that goes into writing these books.
I think the word the sums up this book is desperation. Desperation for affection, love, passion, acceptance, companionship, purpose, passion, life... she is desperate for all of these in this book. Let’s see what book 3 holds.
Again, this author knows how to pull at your heart strings. She dangles the proverbial carrot in front of you, as when you think you have a hold on it, she goes in a different direction. I really don’t want to wait for the theirs book.
This was the second book in this series that I read and I thought it flowed well from Book 1 to Book 2. There was angst, lots of emotional drama and a cliffhanger! It was well written and I’m excited for book 3. Definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the story. Much of the story line seems to mimic a certain popular vampire series that was made into movies.... However it's work written and a nice way to spend my afternoon...
Again with the gaslighting. *cry face* The plot is good, and I love the characters, but the lack of communication and blaming everything on the girl...... It became too much, but otherwise, it was decent.
So terrible and yet so perfect. The pain. The fear. The numbness. All encompassing throughout the story. Then it all changes. They deserve to be happy. They need each other. I need them to be happy together forever.
