Blade is the fifth book in the Dark Falcons series and it is another wonderful addition to the series. This is a fast-paced, engaging and well written story about Juliette and Blade. Blade is a member of the Dark Falcons but he is in real danger because of something his father did. Juliette is the younger sister of Rio, who just so happens to be Blade's best friend. She is everything you think a kindergarten teacher should be - sweet, beautiful, caring, innocent. But she is also Blade's biggest temptation in his life, as he has fallen for her even though he knows she is deep in the "no-go" zone. Juliette is not making it easy for him though as she has fallen for the big, rugged, brooding and very delectable Blade. After a day of working with kids she would usually end up at the Dark Falcons clubhouse where she would unwind and be further drawn to the man who she could not quite figure out. When Blade's past comes to close and endangers not only him, the club, but also Juliette, he will do anything it takes to keep her and his brothers safe, but especially Juliette.

The author once again brings strong characters and weaves a fast paced MC romance filled with danger along with a ton of steam. Her brother Rio is Blade's long time friend , making it hard for a relationship with her. This is their story. It's well written moves quickly and smoothly with vividly painted scenes and is a great addition to the series. Loved it !!

Juliette hangs around the Dark Falcons clubhouse to spend time with her brother, Rio. And she wants to get the chance to see Blade whenever possible. Blade would never make a move on his best friend's little sister. She's too good and wholesome for a tough guy like him. Or is she? She's ready to give a relationship a try but he has a lot of hurdles to overcome. Will they find love and peace in the end?

I really liked Juliette. She is smart, educated, comfortable in her own skin, and she knows what she wants. I felt like her actions matched up through the entire story. Blade is still a little bit of a mystery at the end of the story. He has a scar on his hand from a knife fight, his dad killed a man, Blade dropped out of high school etc. These are all facts on a list but I never saw how they fit together and propelled him forward. In the end, I was glad Blade and Juliette got through all of the bad stuff the bad guys were doing but I kind of wanted Blade to take everything he learned and move forward (for example, if he got his GED). That being said, Juliette didn't have any big epiphanies either but I just liked her so I'll forgive her. As far as the bad guys, they were a sketch and incomplete but it didn't matter. Their actions were driven by the fact that they are bad guys. That fit the story quite well.

I recommend reading this series in order. There are a lot of people that show up in book after book and it adds to the story when they pop up from time to time. However, these can all be read as stand alone if you are just looking for a quick motorcycle club love story.

Titus is a strong, quiet man who has had to endure an immensely difficult life. He goes by the nickname ‘Blade’, a meaningful connection to his fight to survive. He’s fiercely attracted to Juliette, the sweet little sister of his best friend, Rio, a club member you’ll have seen in other books of the series if you’ve read them. Blade is determined to stay clear of her because he’s sure he’s not worthy of her. He’s also caught up in a vicious and violent vendetta situation caused by the criminal actions of his own father, and he’s intent on keeping Juliette safe from the danger surrounding him. Juliette is drawn to Blade every bit as much as he is to her. She may be a quiet schoolteacher, but she’s confident the connection she feels between them is very real. Juliette is stronger than anybody realizes, and she’s unwilling to be kept in the dark about the ugliness threatening to destroy the man she loves.

There is a lot of action and danger driving this story, along with the irresistible pull of the powerful attraction between the two lead characters. That chemistry, along with the strength of the Dark Falcons brotherhood, are all tested by the end of the story. This book is a quick read that delivers a lot of entertainment, along with a great happy ending that even encompasses Juliette’s brother!

Blade and Juliette were an unlikely couple. I was surprised that there wasn't more conversation about Blade continuing his education, especially with Juliette being a teacher. Also, there was such an emphasis put on his lack of education at the beginning of this book.

In a way, it was nice that she accepted him for exactly the man he was by all appearances. Since he seemed to feel like he was lacking in that area, I thought it might have come up.

I might have been a bit confused, but I thought I read neither Blade nor Rio took the Black Falcons patch. Then, later on, I read that Titus had it on his vest.

Blade and Juliette had this intense chemistry, but I was still surprised at the way things ended with them. All things considered, they got their HEA.

This book was fast paced, with romance, steadiness, a bit of suspense, and a burst of action here and there. It all seemed to be over far too quickly to me.

A short story which for me was a very fast read. It was full of sizzling red hot romance once Blade and Juliette figure out “hey its ok” to love one another. Blade found himself in the middle of a family crisis courtesy of his father who murdered in cold blood the patriarch of a large family gang. They are out to seek vengeance by reeking havoc within Blades extended family any way shape or form. For being a short read its action packed, and full of passion, romance, love, friends, family, loyalty, bikers, brotherhood, drama, suspense and danger. I found this to be a very good story that flowed nicely and the characters were well matched and fitted to the story. This is definitely a series worth reading. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

Blade (AKA Titus) finally gets his HEA in this wonderful return visit with the Dark Falcons MC. His best friend, Rio, features prominently as a secondary storyline gives us a satisfying look into his life as well.

Titus has always had a thing for Rio's little sister, Juliette, but because of the trouble he's in that his father started, he doesn't feel worthy of her. I loved that Juliette was strong enough to prove him wrong, and I loved how she wouldn't let either Titus or Rio make her decisions for her.

The storyline describing the situation with the Engers wasn't as fully developed as I was hoping for, giving us just enough action to move the romance along but not enough to truly explain why it was resolved so quickly. Still, as a romance, this book has all the heat and heart that we've come to expect from the Dark Falcon series and I especially recommend it for the double romance aspect. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I'd say Blade is the member of the club that is the roughest around the edges. He drinks too much, he has some serious problems thanks to this dad murdering a man, and his biggest problem of all is his feelings for Juliette. Juliette is his best friend Rio's younger sister. They've known each other for years because Blade and Rio have been pretty much inseparable. Blade know he needs to stay away but Juliette keeps making it harder to walk away. Juliette's convinced that her and Blade could have something special if he'd let her in. Will Juliette convince Blade to let her love him and help? Will Blade be able to keep Juliette safe from the people after his family?

Once again we are riding with the Dark Falcons MC a MC that is determined to make a difference We have met Blade in earlier he is the quite surly member of the group the one who seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders There is only one person who seems to lighten his dark world Juliette but she is off limits in more ways than one not only is she to good and sweet for the likes of him she is also his brother Rio's little sister and a kindergarten teacher as well Too bad that she is just as intrigued by him but when he has to ask for her help she is drawn into their world and now he will do whatever he needs to protect her and his MC family While this book can be read as a stand alone I do believe it is far better read if you read the entire series in order and submerge yourself in the world of the Dark Falcons

This is the fifth book in the Dark Falcons series. Each one can be read as a standalone, but why not read all of them. I am not a big fan of MC books, but this series is an exception. They are a family. Even though they are big, tough motorcycle riding men, they also are good men. Blade and Juliette, what a pair! Juliette is a kindergarten teacher by day, but enjoys hanging out with the Dark Falcons also. Blade has fallen hard for Juliette. Their story is a story of family, which includes those that are related to you, but also includes others, that are not related to you, as Blade soon finds out. There is a good combination of steamy heat, action, suspense, and love. I really enjoyed this book.

A great addition to this series. Blade does not think he is good enough for Juliette who is the sister of Rio - a major MC player. Blade and Juliette cannot keep their eyes off each other and Juliette sets out to catch him. She hopes to change his mind and prove their attraction is worth the fight. The chemistry between them explodes. Blade does not want to bring anything bad to the MC club but needs help from them. This book has sexy, strong characters and is filled with suspense, drama, intrigue, romance, passion, sex and laughter. It shows that these tough bikers have a sense of humor as well. It hits all the right buttons. Heat level is off the charts and has twists and turns thrown in to keep you on your toes. A must read and flows into the series easily. I really enjoyed reading Blade . It is well written and the characters are great . Titus's aka (Blade) father killed a member of the Engers family . They have decided to seek revenge . They are going after every one in Blades family . Blade has had feelings for Juliette but feels he is not good enough for her and her innocence . He is afraid her would put her in danger . Juliette has feelings for Blade . She watches him at the Dark Falcons clubhouse . Blade will need the Dark Falcons and Juliette get him through and stop the Engers . This story is steamy , suspenseful and intense . I highly recommend reading .

I truly enjoyed this story. The characters are phenomenal, and the storyline kept the pages turning. Blade has the weight of the world on his shoulders. He feels responsible for taking care of all of his family because of what his father did. While he’s dealing for that, he’s pushing away the love he doesn’t think he deserves trying to save Juliette as well. Juliette loves Blade and knows that Rio may give them a hard time since he’s Blade’s best friend, but she just wants to help ease the troubles Blade is going through. She’s the reason Blade is saved in the end honestly. I love the grande finale though. Never saw that one coming at all.

I have read a couple of the other books in this series and enjoyed them all. It sounds funny because of all the drama with Blade's family but this one was super sweet. Juliette has know Blade since they were young and these two have always felt a pull to each other. Blade, never feeling like he was worthy of her plus the fact her brother was his best friend - stayed away. I was worried Juliette would not be as strong of a character but this author really created a strong, worthy love interest for Blade. She may have been used to handling kindergartners but she really showed how she could handle the men of a MC. Very enjoyable read and I adored the epilogue with these two (as well as Rio's).

Family are everything!

Blade is the dark, dangerous, broody one....or is he? We get to know him better here and not only see another side to him but also see his fight with his demons, his fight to escape his fathers shadows and his fight to protect his family...both blood and Brotherhood - swoon!
Juliette is the light to his dark, she is his home and he is her escape to the wild, together they are a perfect balance. My favourite quote is when Blade is in the hospital as Rio wakes, he asks Blade why he is there and not with Juliette, and his reply....'Because you were my family long before she became my world'. Cue the tears and you just hand your heart over to him!
I loved it! And we want more, more, more Dark Falcons pls! I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

There is the perfect mix of heat, brotherhood, undeniable feelings, steamy times, two people who deserve to be loved and a reckoning that you aren't sure who will walk away from!

On paper these two are as different as night and day. However, they just fit.

I loved the character of Juliette. While she is this wonderful kindergarten teacher, she also likes being with the Dark Falcons and one person in particular. I loved that she care so deeply and trusts Blade so fully that when he needs help, she's there with very little questions.

Blade is a good man in a tight spot. Issues are coming up concerning his blood family and he wants to take care of it on his own and not involve his woman or club.

He find out very quickly that the family you choose, is better than the family you came from.

He feels it Is up to him alone to protect them. He doesn’t share this situation with his MC brothers. And how is is going to deal with his long term attraction to his best friend’s sister? This is a short about another member of the MC. It is a short so it is focused mostly Blade and his relationship with Juliette.and briefly presents his backstory to explain the current situation. Nicely written.

Wow! Em has a knack for making you want! And want you will! Juliette does not think that one night will be enough for a man like Blade. She knows she wants him but the darkness that surrounds him and the scars she sees not only on the outside is a temptation she wants to act on but she knows that the depth of those scars run deep. She is very perceptive. Blades attraction to her is heat. The fire she invokes in him is not one he trusts but wants to envelop because she is his light. He is just stubborn with the want of her. This is a great addition to this series!
