Dirty Psychopath

Rate this book
“It should hurt, little girl. Being with me will always hurt.”

I don’t know him, I have never spoken to him, and I have never seen before.

He’s a man wrapped in inky patterns, armed with scarred knuckles, and donned with selfish obsessiveness.

One look and I’m his; I’m his favorite victim.

I shouldn’t have these complicated feelings in my stomach when I’m near him, but his presence had proven to be poisoning—far too late to stop the spread of the compulsive submissiveness that he commands of me.

“John Doe” is his identity; he’s nothing, but everything at the same time.

I loved it!!!
A lot of triggers, if you don't like dark stories, this one isn't for you.
John Doe is in an asylum for five years.
He doesn't talk, he doesn't interact with anyone.
Until he sees Jessie...
And the obsession begins...
Jessie is a voluntary in the weekend.
She heard the other talking about John Doe, but she never meet him.
I don't know if I'm the deranged, but I couldn't put this down until I finish it.
Murder, gore, dubcon, you name it.
You've been warned 👹
The 4,8 stars just because it was too short and ended abruptedly.
And now, I have to read more Celia Crown, if her other works are like this, it's me who will be addicted...

I just adore a psychopath in love!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🤎🖤❤️💜
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 😍😚😉🙂🥰

The heroine: Jessie - she is a volunteer at the insane asylum, her tasks usually have to do with cleaning, putting clean laundry in the rooms and things like that, though she does like to help the patients when she can. She is teaching one of them to play chess. She has heard the rumors about John Doe and knows some of the nurses have crushes on him though they would never act on those crushes since he is so dangerous.

The Hero: John Doe - he has been stuck in an insane asylum for five years after the courts decided he was criminally insane. He hasn’t spoken in the time he has been there which frustrates his psychiatrist to no end. Not because he can’t speak, but because he has nothing to say to anyone there. He is a big, muscular mountain of a man and is usually flanked by two guards in case he acts out, but could easily bash both of their skulls in if he wanted to. Though in the years he has been there he has never been violent.

The Story: When Jessie first sees John, he does nothing but stare at her, which makes her quite nervous. So much so that she looks down in a submissive way that intrigues him all the more. When the doctor notices more alertness in John than ever before, she thinks Jessie might be the key to getting John to open up. Her main focus is to use John as a case study to further her career and she will do whatever she has to in order to make that happen.

I picked this book because I love when the Hero (or anti-Hero) is a psychopath or sociopath who falls for the heroine. It is a short read (96 pages), which I dislike but I thought I would give it a try anyway, because I wanted to take a break from audiobooks and actually read some for a change. I like audiobooks because you can multi-task when listening, but sometimes it is so nice to just relax and do nothing but read and I really liked this one from the start. I just loved a man obsessed like this:

“There was nothing special when I first saw her, no spark of desire to reach for her. But a small seed of yearning for her grew in me until it became almost overwhelming.”

“Nothing brings more satisfaction than knowing she is frightened of me.”

“Five years of silence, and I am not going to talk just because she has my pretty girl in the room. I usually block out her voice and just stare into thin air during these useless sessions, but I can’t tune her out with that girl sitting here today.”

“I want to learn what makes her tick, what she likes, and how she reacts to certain things.”

“She wants to get away and put as much distance between us as possible. It’s endearing that she thinks this is going to be the last time she sees me.”

“Jessie gives me a nervous smile when she mumbles a greeting. I concentrate on her voice, the prettiest thing I have ever heard. Her voice is on the soft side, and the tone stirs something dark in my heart.”

“Contrary to popular belief, despite being diagnosed as criminally insane, I know what is right and what is wrong. I just don’t care. I understand what I’m doing; I just don’t feel remorse.
A psychotic sociopath.”

I thought I wouldn’t like this one so much because it was so short, but so much happened in it and it was done so well, that I couldn’t have asked for more in a longer book. This was my favorite book so far this year. I just adore a psychopath in love!

You know, I often think that I would enjoy the "dark romance" genre, even though it's mostly contemporary, so occasionally I pick up a book that I think would be interesting. And, thus far at least, I have always been disappointed in my forays into dark romance.

This book wasn't an exception to that rule, unfortunately. It sounded interesting enough, but the execution left me wanting a lot more. The character development was lacking; John was never fleshed out as a character.

You can tell that the author has never worked in healthcare and has no idea how it functions. As someone who works in healthcare, that is always one of my pet peeves in books. We're supposed to believe that innocent little Jessie volunteers at a psych hospital that is populated by psychopaths too dangerous to stand trial. Those same psychopaths are allowed to pretty much roam free in the facility with just an aide following them around (sometimes). There are practically no rules in place to safeguard the workers (and volunteers lol) from these patients - not that it matters, because doctors involved in the treatment of these psychopaths would totally flaunt the rules to further their careers or just to get their rocks off. There were SO many times that I just wanted to scream "that's not how this works! That's not how ANY of this works!"

And the ending...what WAS that? That's...not how this works either. Sigh.

So my quest for a dark romance book that actually delivers continues!

3.5 crazy ass stars.

Just because I haven’t hurt her yet doesn’t mean I won’t. She is the first person I want to hurt in other ways; to make her cry and become so dependent that she can’t survive without me

A killing psychopath in an asylum who talks to no one but her.
I won't say anything more after that

YALL THIS IS THE BAR AND STANDARD OF PYSCHO I WANT MY MEN TO BE.

I’ll pretend to entertain the idea and watch the hope in her eyes, but I won’t give in. I want that bright hope to come crashing down with a simple “no” from me and crush her heart.

No plssssssssss he's so mean rawr me next John please sir.

The plot was nice
I wanted this to be a full blown book but okay i understand that it's a novella so you can fit just enough.

I loved the crazy John was but the words used in the smut were just.....illegal.
Squishy pussy.
Frothing cum.
Bulbous tip.
Squelchy hole.
Sloshes the cum into a webbed mess.

Oh my god reading that just cut off 4 years off my life. But nevertheless the plot and the man were top tier.
I volunteer willingly.

LOved this :)) it was such a pleasant surprise! Super hot, short and unrealistic but let's be honest we don't read novellas for the perfect storylines right?? at least I usually don't so I can easily overlook some foolish scenarios since it's not too big of a deal to me in short stories. Plus the hero John was completely deranged lol just like I LOVE my antiheroes to be 🔥
Will definitely read more from this author.

🌈Thanks to Olya for this........... psychic recommendation!🌈

The book that i dnfed a 100 times, before FINALLY finishing it. I am STILL trying to process what the hell did i read.

PLEASEEEEEE CHECK TRIGGERS BEFORE YOU READ.

I concentrate on her voice, the prettiest thing I have ever heard. Her voice is on the soft side, and the tone stirs something dark in my heart.
It rumbles and angrily vibrates against my ribs.
I hate it. I hate not understanding what it is that I’m experiencing. I need control, and this little girl is taking it away from me.
Unacceptable. I refuse to give up control of my body despite being trapped behind these concrete walls and iron bars.

She’s beautiful when she does, but part of me thinks I will find it more endearing when she’s near tears.

But I do want to make my little girl cry.
I won’t be satisfied with being close enough to touch her and settle for just talking to her.
I’m a greedy man. I like being selfish and only think about what will be of greatest benefit to me. I want things that Jessie probably wouldn’t give me willingly, but she is a vulnerable soul.
Naïve is a better word, just too trusting.
Just because I haven’t hurt her yet doesn’t mean I won’t. She is the first person I want to hurt in other ways; to make her cry and become so dependent that she can’t survive without me.

Contrary to popular belief, despite being diagnosed as criminally insane, I know what is right and what is wrong. I just don’t care. I understand what I’m doing; I just don’t feel remorse.
A psychotic sociopath.

My eyes are turning into a glare at the gentle smile on her pink lips. She is smiling because of another person, and my anger is unreasonable.
I want her to smile because of me.
This is strange. I don’t have a clue where this side of me is coming from, but I am certain I want this little girl for myself.

She’d be so pretty with my bruise on her delectable skin. She’d be branded as mine and wouldn’t have to be afraid of anyone but me. Only I can bring that skittish fear alive in her little body, a privilege I claimed the moment I laid eyes on her.

🛑SPOILERS🛑

Don't bother with the plot. It's better if you read it on ur own, u don't need ME to describe it for ya.
Trust me.

❗Virgin h/Doormat/Shy/Helpful/naiive/Kind/People-pleaser.

❗Celibate H (but.......its not said clearly and considering the kind of........devil he was i'd say that heis......a virgin.........idk🤷‍♀️.......... )and.......... sociopath. And i agree with the wikipedia Definition.

~H hurts the h.
~By hurting i mean that instead of tending to her bleeding wounds, he presses his thumb on them to make her cry, and gets off on it.
~NEVER says sorry.
~NEVER says 'i love you'.
~What he feels for the h is the closest to affection that he has ever felt .........anything.

💠🔥#️⃣The Smut-

“I-it won’t fit,” she mutters as a hiccup throttles her complaint.
“It will,” I growl into her hair.
“Too big,” she chokes. “It’ll hurt.”
“Good,” I approve with a sneer. “It should hurt, little girl. Being with me will always hurt.”
She shakes her head with her last shred of strength. “No, I don’t want to be with you…”
“Liar,” I hiss, “Dirty, lying little girl.”
She seems to grasp one point of my statement, and it’s the wrong one. “I-I’m not dirty.”
“No?” I mock with a grin.
I drag my finger over her throbbing clit, inciting a surprised squeal as I bring the stringy slick to her lips and shove the digit onto her tongue. Her choked hiccup is stifled by the curve of my finger pressing on her tongue.
“What’s this?” I ask mockingly. “Your pretty pussy says otherwise; it’s begging for my fat cock to breed you.”
She puckers her lips around the intrusive finger and sucks hungrily. Her response is automatic as she keeps her eyes down, wide and unblinking.

It's .........wow............like.........WOW.🔥😵

💙No-cheating.

The couple: Jessie and John

Romance genre: Dark romance/abduction

Plot: Jessie is a volunteer at a psychiatric hospital (suspend disbelief, please) and "John Doe" is a patient. In fact, he's the patient that everyone is afraid of. He's definitely a psychopath, he doesn't talk, he's uncooperative. But one day, he sees Jessie, and decides that she's his. The doctor who leads the group sessions that John goes to notices that he acts a little different when Jessie is around, and arranges for Jessie to start spending time with John. John makes sure that Jessie is safe, to the extreme, and he eventually

Character development: I like the way we learned more about John throughout the story, simply through the plot rather than exposition, but he still stayed mysterious.

Part of a series: No

Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes; I particularly liked Criminal Daddy and the rest of that series

2.5* The book was a lot. If you are not a fan of toxic men this book isn’t for you. And I mean TOXIC. H is very controlling, and could be considered borderline abusive. He is very protective/possessive of the h, though I liked this. If you aren’t comfortable with all of this then don’t proceed. Ultimately it felt a bit long and slightly boring at times despite being around 150 pages for me.

The end of the story also didn’t make sense. Like he’s a criminal that has escaped and is fairly well known, though he manages to live in this suburban neighbourhood freely. Still as violent and out-there as ever. Like, do authority and police not exist. This is 5 years after his escape as well.

The writing was nice overall however, and I thought that the author managed to write John in an attractive way, though a warning should be stated on his behaviour. H’s attitude and actions are only acceptable in fictional terms. Anywhere else is unacceptable and dangerous.

Would recommend if you don’t mind toxic fictional men.

First read by Celia Crown and so good! I have a major kick for prisoner/inmate and hospital worker/therapist coupling.

Hero was wasted on the novella. He could have been a full-length novel. His POV was unhinged from the get-go and felt like he could have undergone a transformation. It’s interesting because he is one-note but I didn’t feel it as much as I did for the heroine, whose characterization didn’t feel real, but sort of ho-hum I’m just a girl! No brain waves at all, and that was a disservice to her character. So in that respect, it was good it was a novella. If she had internal struggles with her morals, if she objected to his violence or his obsession towards her, maybe there would have been something but all in all, a fun read!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and pacing. It wasn’t all smut, which made the build-up, the gradual tension of his obsessive actions that much more engaging. Reminds me of a Jessa Kane novella but not as explicit. The bathroom scene was probably the most memorable.

I'm soooo confused after reading this book....
My feelings are so badly messed up....
In the starting I liked the hero... I wanted to hug him... I wanted him to be fixed somehow.... He was so broken....
I liked heroine too in the starting...
Their relationship seemed turning into something beautiful until 40% of the book....
But my goodness...after 40% this book was just bloody for me...like literally bloody......
I have read many dark romances in which hero kills to protect the heroine... But this book was entirely different in that prospect...
I have also read books with Psychopath heroes... and those are one of my favorite book boyfriends.... But John of this book was unacceptable.... like i was somewhat disgusted by him...
There was one scene in this book which looked like it was a scene from a horror movie... there was no love in that scene....
the ending was also not satisfying....
The writing style of author is the only thing i liked about this book....

Celia, Celia, Celia, oh what a good story and so not conventional. I found myself really liking John Doe and what a good premise that if you are insane it really doesn't matter how many more people you kill as there will be no repercussions. Jessie was definitely submissive even if she didn't realise it and I could see how she would be overcome with John's dominance. He was a really bad boy. I loved the description of the characters and they were easily brought to life. As with a lot of Celia's endings it was quirky and this I love. Can't get enough of this author and her unorthodox quirky and very sexy stories. Love it.

Jess volunteers at an asylum and there she meets John Doe. John usually never engages during therapy sessions but when he sees Jess, he shows interest. His doctor has asked Jess to sit in on the next session but she is both frightened and attracted to him. Fast-paced intense dark read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and their story has lots of twists and turns. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it.

THIS STORY IS EXACTLY WHAT THE TITLE PROCLAIMS TO BE, ALTHOUGH THERE IS THE QUESTION OF WHETHER THE MALE LEAD IS ACTUALLY A SOCIOPATH, A PYSCHOPATH OR A BIT OF BOTH? Recently, I've been filleted by a reviewer who enjoyed a dark 'romance' novel that involved sociopathic tendencies, and well, she was peeved at me for insinuating the characters were psychopathic. So, I don't want to make that same mistake here, but just know, this story was insane! If you're a dark romance/erotica lover, then you'll appreciate this one without second guessing your own mental health for even giving this the thumbs up.

JOHN DOE is our main character and it's always interesting to read what goes on in the minds of characters who stray from what society calls a normal psyche. John shows signs of being a sociopath, that's correct. He knows what's right and wrong, but it just doesn't faze him and he feels zero remorse for hurting anyone or even killing, and murdering people is something he does towards the end of the story. Frankly there are a lot of holes that needed to be filled for it to be a far-fetched story because up till the end, John is still JOHN DOE to us. Like who the fuck was he? Where did he come from? What was he doing that landed him in the mental ward? You know, all these basic questions were left unanswered. The only thing you need to know is, this is a guilty pleasure...John is possessive obsessive and if a man like him existed in real life, I would so fucking run the other way.

JESSIE didn't stand a chance against John. As a volunteer to help the clinically insane, I suppose you can already guess she has a big heart. I mean...who would do that WITHOUT getting paid? And I'm sure it wasn't for the EXPERIENCE, because you could get hurt if a patient has an outburst. Jessie hears rumours about the handsome but violent John Doe, having never met him until she gets roped into his Doctor's manipulation to get John to talk. See, John doesn't talk at all, and his Doctor is trying all kinds of ways to make him react. When she saw John taking an interest in Jessie, it's game over for our poor little nurse. Jessie fears John, but she puts in a good effort to befriend him and also help him, only to have him take advantage and overpower her. While a good portion of her fears him, another darker side of her is attracted to him. I don't care what ya'll say but she was because the body doesn't lie and she got wet when he literally 'assaulted' her in the shower.

OVERALL this might push certain readers' limits, because the male lead was no saint or hero. He's definitely something else. It all depends on how you want to look at it and take it. Sadly, this wasn't erotica and the sex scenes were on a low. I know right, you'd be expecting some really hot action and the hottest was the shower scene for me. That got me holding my breath for more.

This started really good. I’d say this is probably a 2.5 star read. It had a plot I was looking for, with a young heroine who volunteers at a psych ward/insane asylum, with a pure, shy, sweet heroine. She captures the attention of one of the most dangerous men in the place. Sounds good right? I was really intrigued by the first half, but it fell a bit flat for me and I found myself skimming a bit.

I don’t know what exactly didn’t work, it could’ve been the repetitive phrasing, (the “little girl” phrase specifically) plot holes, and the fact that some books you just have to suspend disbelief and sometimes with certain stories it works out better than others…but for this one, I found it difficult for me to believe certain situations in the story, especially because it happens in a place where typically protocols would have a plan of action if say, a patient got loose or even hurt someone.

There’s so much murder in this, no one is really able to restrain the patients or get things under control and this Hero, he has been under a doctors care for 5 years with little to no verbal responses and seems to just be biding his time coasting along in this place, but out of nowhere seems to unleash a crazy side after 5 years? Nothing is explained about really why he is in there also? This is probably the worst psych ward ever to put a patient in. 🙈 All the brutality of murder didn’t quite fit the storyline IMO (was it necessary to kill everyone?) and I should notate that I have no triggers at all, but a few combined things just didn’t work for me specifically. Another thing and I’ve read this in a few books, it happens in this book too…The h is a virgin but when she loses it, there is clearly no description of it, it’s as if nothing happened or it’s some afterthought…maybe she wasn’t a V after all? 🙈

However, if you like a quick read of instalove with a crazy psycho Hero, and surprisingly not much steam, but you’ll exchange some of the steam for an OTT possessive, crazy Hero who kills anyone who touches the heroine, (more bloodshed/less smexy times) this is a decent read to escape. I just found things too convoluted for my own taste. But please don’t let my own thoughts deter you from trying this one out 🖤 I loved the premise though!

Breakdown:

Dual POV
Psycho Hero (and even in the end he doesn’t change)
Nonverbal H (until the h)
Mine, mine, mine trope
“Touch her and I’ll kill you” trope
Virgin h
Dark/romantic suspense
Insane Asylum/Psych ward
Triggers/plot holes/murdery
Shy/sweet h
HEA (in epilogue)

Celia Crown is my go to when I’m looking for a dark, twisted and dirty romance. And Dirty Psychopath was just what I was looking for. This book is not for the faint of heart, and a fantastic read for those of us who revel in this lovely genre of romances.

This was a dark, nasty, dirty, twisted and riveting read. John was a horror show I couldn’t stop watching and want to know more about. Jessie was sweet, naive and innocent and somehow didn’t want to slap. Rules were broken, moral lines crossed and laws ignored.

The intensity and build up was like cat nip and I couldn’t get enough. This is a definite re-read and one of my favorite Celia Crown books to date. I very much highly recommend to those readers that can appreciate the dark side of romance.

So here we have Jessie, a young woman who volunteers at the asylum on her day off, meaning she is unpaid. A psychiatrist who works at the asylum wants Jessie to be with her because John Doe, a patient, is really intrigued by Jessie. It’s the first time in five years that he has had a reaction, and the psychiatrist wants to study him. So, she asks Jessie to attend her sessions with John Doe.

After Jessie starts attending the sessions, John becomes more obsessed with her. Whenever she isn’t there, he freaks out, attacking and hurting everyone around him. If anyone dares to touch Jessie, he is ready to kill them—and he actually does kill a patient because of that.

As days pass, Jessie and John grow closer. The psychiatrist wants Jessie to work full-time at the asylum, so she starts hesitating about quitting her marketing job. One day, she discusses it with her volunteer friend at the asylum, but the asylum director, a creepy doctor, also wants both of them to work there full-time. However, his real motive is that he wants to have sex with them. John happens to pass by and overhears everything, so he beats up the director. As a result, he is locked up in a room, and the director decides to transfer him to another asylum. The psychiatrist tries to dissuade him, but she fails, and John is sent away.

That night, as Jessie is showering before going home, John escapes his room and sneaks into the sanitary area. They end up engaging in oral sex, and although Jessie is shocked, she lets John touch her.

The next day, the hospital goes into lockdown because a patient has escaped and is acting completely insane. Everyone is ordered to stay in their rooms, so Jessie helps the patients return to their rooms before heading to the psychiatrist’s office. However, the office is in complete chaos. There, she finds John’s file and starts reading it, but the creepy doctor suddenly enters and tries to rape her. John arrives just in time, kills the doctor, and throws his body against the wall. At that moment, the closet door swings open, and the psychiatrist’s dead body falls out. Jessie is terrified, thinking that John might kill her next, so he drags her to his room. He then tries to force her to give him a blowjob, but she refuses because she is traumatized from what the creepy doctor had just tried to do to her. Seeing how frightened she is, John takes care of her, and they eventually have sex—he takes her virginity.

After they have sex, John chokes her until she falls unconscious. When Jessie wakes up, The asylum is covered in blood, with dead bodies everywhere. She discovers someone still alive and tries to help him, but he dies in front of her, his guts spilling out from being dismembered. Shocked, she screams in terror. John then appears with a friend, unconscious. He wants to kill Jessie’s friend, but she begs him not to. John then gives her a choice: if he doesn’t kill her friend, she has to leave with him, and they will escape the asylum before the police arrive. Jessie chooses to leave with John, and they escape.

Fast forward five years, and they have a son together. John seems to be normal, and Jessie’s friend ( Lisa) has been working with a detective to find her. However, John ensures Lisa never reappears in their lives ( dont worry he didn’t kill her). Meanwhile, they have a neighbor who is completely obsessed with Jessie. He constantly intrudes on their lives, always trying to know everything about them and showing up at their house uninvited. Jessie dislikes him and pretends she isn’t home whenever he comes over. In the end, John plans to kill this neighbor, and that’s where the story concludes.

John appears to love Jessie and their son, but I don’t think it’s real love—he’s a psychopath. However, he never harmed Jessie or their son; he treated them well and seemed to understand the difference between good and bad when it came to them. His love may be twisted, but it’s there.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. It was so good, and I definitely want more. It felt too short—I wish we had more insight into John’s thoughts and mindset. I would have loved a longer, more detailed story, but it was still an amazing read!

This is my first book by this author. I wasn't sure what to expect or if I'd enjoy it. The book hung around in my kindle for almost a year before I decided to give it a try. I did enjoy it. The story is a insta-attraction dark romance. It's told in dual point of view by the MMC (John) & the MFC (Jessie). There should be some trigger warnings with this book. It has workplace sexual harassment, violence, blood, fighting, obsession, control issues, to some degree an almost forced relationship between the MMC & MFC. Some would even call what happens at times between them dubcon or noncon. The book is a short less than 150 pages if I remember correctly read. It is well written, well edited, gripping, well paced, sexually explicit story ending in a HEA. Well for the most part.

The story takes place in an insane asylum. The MFC, Jessie is a volunteer there. She keeps hearing about this male patient named John Doe, the MMC. The female staff are all gossiping about John. He's a tall, hulking, muscular, handsome man. He's been at the asylum for five years and hasn't spoken. Despite his size and strength he goes along with what the staff asks of him. As long as they don't touch him. That's a sure way to make him violent. John is under the care of one of the female doctors in the asylum. One day Jessie is outside the door of the group meeting John is in. The doctor notices that John can't take his eyes off Jessie. It's like he is already obsessed after one look. The doctor decides to use Jessie as a way to try to get John to speak and see what else may happen from there. The female doctor has tried all kinds of things to get John to speak and go along with treatment. The way she wants but nothing has worked so far. Jessie is a shy passive person. She agrees to try to help John. Little does she know how that one decision will completely change her life. In ways she never saw coming.

The author does do a good job when writing from John's perspective to try to give you an idea of what is going on in the mind of a mentally ill person. I don't want to tell you what all John's diagnosis are. The story will tell them as it unfolds. This is a good book and I would recommend it to those I know like this sort of story. It isn't for everyone for varying reasons. If you enjoy dark romance and the things I listed that may be triggers don't bother you. Give this book a try. You'll probably enjoy it too.

This book is dark and disturbing but like a mangled car wreck I could not stop reading it. In fact, I read it all in one sitting. This is the twisted love story of John, an inmate at a psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane, and Jessie, a very naive young woman, a volunteer there.

John, with a body every woman drools over, has attained celebrity status. All of the staff and volunteers gossip about him all of the time and those that have never caught a glimpse of him want to. Jessie feels this is wrong. They finally see each other as Jessie is passing the room where his group session is held and they get a good look through the rooms window. Dr, Carrey, John’s psychiatrist, notices because this is the first time John has shown any interest in anything in all the time he has been there. He usually sits mute during group sessions. Jessie fins him terrifying. Despite this she agrees to sit in the next group session when Dr. Carrey asks.

She sits quietly in the corner at the session but when all the other patients leave Dr. Carrey asks John and Jessie to stay behind and she leaves them in the room alone. John who has decided that she is “mine” and he wants to make her hurt, pulls her chair to him so he can capture her thighs between his and get his face right into hers. Dr. Carrey doesn’t see any of this because she is busy with a phone call . When she finishes she asks Jessie to sit in on the group session tomorrow which is the last thing she wants to do as she now has an idea what John wants from her but she agrees.

Jessie sits on the next session and promises him she will be at the next but then doesn’t. She doesn’t attend every session and John who wants to see her every day will punch out a guard when she does not show. He also manages to get out of his isolation cell where he is put for punching out the guards to kill a patient who punched Jessie in the face. She is his and no one is allowed to hurt her or even touch her. He is insanely jealous. He decides that he is going to leave the hospital and take her with him and they are going to live happily every after or at least as happily ever after as a sociopath killer can.
