This is the reason i couldn't give this book five stars.
1: There was more to Ana's side of the story that the author didn't narrate like
》How did her parents react after they found out that their dead girl was actually alive
》How did Paulo, the husband react after he found out about his dead wife not actually being dead.
I feel like those part would have brought major juicy drama but the author skipped it and I'm mad.
I have enjoyed the spark between Noah and Ana and did enjoy imagining how their relationship blossomed. It was short and would have been longer had the author actually considered 👆. BuT i guess iT was just not meant To be.
Still a fun ahort book that took us on a short journey which i now recommend to any late readers like moi.

I was hoping for more
It's not that I didn't like the love story. But the last 25% was SO RUSHED and out of no where. The first 75% was just noah prying for her secrets and then saying he didn't want to pry. Maybe it's just me, but you date someone for like... 2 weeks? Get married. Say I love you, get pregnant and fight off your abusive ex seems a little unrealistic. Also the ex just gave up? And that story line was unfinished too. Also I've said this in other book reviews and I'll say it again. I love a good sex scene, BUT IT ISNT MEANT TO COVER UP ISSUES LEFT UNANSWERED.

Somehow I managed to read Noah's book (#2) before the first book in this series, but it didn't lessen my enjoyment of it in the slightest. This book features a picturesque location, sizzling bedroom scenes, and hot rock stars, so I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into it. I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the Knight's Edge band members.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone but I think they are best read in order I really liked the first book so I could not wait to read Noah and Ana's story and it did not disappoint it was a well-written book that held my interest all the way through.My heart just broke for everything Ana had been through but these two were just so great together and she deserved that second chance.Can't wait for the next one

This is the second book in this series and it is an enjoyable read. Amazing chemistry and well described characters.

I haven't had the pleasure of reading this author before,,,,, but now I have and I can't wait to get some free time to read more from her,,,
This is the story of Noah Cartwright.... Noah has moved to the city of Florianópolis from the States and then, his best friend Tristan, or Big T as Noah calls him, comes to visit him, and Noah talks him into staying and they open a restaurant together, as well as trying to get their band back together,,,, but, Noah is still talking to him about that,,, They eventually get their business up and running and making a profit,,,, and so he decides to move on with life the way it is,,, no relationships, no letting anyone in, just a no-strings attached hookup with a woman, and leave it at that,,,, simple and easy,,,,, until her,,,,
Ana Oliveira has decided to make a new life for herself,,, change her name, fake her death and get the hell out of her wicked marriage,,,, she shows up at Noah's restaurant, Chez Nous, to apply for a job and he hires her on the spot,,,, yes, Ana thinks Noah is gooid looking, but she really needs to stay away from men,,, especially her boss,,,, what would happen when they broke up,, Ana is sure they'd break up,,, but Noah and her get along so well,,, but, she needs to stay only friends with him,,, imagine what would happen if he found out the truth about her,,,,, ???
This is such a good book of Ana and Noah,,,, it is sweet,,,,,it has its rough times,,,,,,,it is steamy, in the awesome way,,,,,, you really need to read about these 2 kids,,,, it's totally a very HEA,,,,

It all comes together in one wild night of bare-knuckled honesty and unbridled passion -- but can it survive in the light of day?
After reading Tristan and getting an introduction to all the different characters, I was very happy to see so much of his and Noah's backstory in this book. A couple events from the previous book are repeated here from Noah's POV, which nicely ties the two books together, anchoring their common timeline. The epilogue was brilliantly done; giving us a nice follow-up without spoiling the fun of the other books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations for leaving a review. This review is being left voluntarily and any and all opinions are my honest thoughts on this book and the authors work. This book centers around Noah and Ana, who have nothing in common except their explosive attraction to each other. For once the hero (Noah) believes in happily ever after, and the heroine (Ana) does not. Great difference from traditional romances. Falling in love will turn Noah and Ana's lives upside down. The writing was flawlessly put together and the characters progression was spot on in my opinion. Once again the chemistry between the two is just plain explosive and hot. This is the second book in the series (which I also got from Amazon to support this author) of interconnected standalones. Can't wait to read about the other hot rockers and the feisty, snarky women who end up in their lives.

Be warned you will go on a massive emotional roller coaster and will be back at the beginning of the line begging to take anot her turn on the ride.
I cried buckets with Tristans story and I fully expected Noah to be just as good at yanking on my emotions. Liz Gavins is a genius when it comes to her characters and the emotions she manages to make me feel are amazing. I really don't know ow how she does it because I don't have a heart....only a piece of flint. But anyway she manages to make me laugh, cry and scream at my kindle when I read her books.
I loved Noah and Anas story as they kept me on my toes right until he end wondering if they would find their happy ending. And manage to keep their hearts intact.

Liz Gavin continues with her world friends have each other's back and we watch them grow into the men they need to become. The storyline for the band in the making, Knight's Edge, is compelling and emotionally driven. The characters are genuinely flawed from their past experiences and mesh together perfectly trying to come into their own. You can't read Noah and Ana's story without some type of emotional response. It's physically impossible. I love that these characters never gave up on their dream of what they thought could happen. Now I can't wait to see what happens with the other friends!

This is cute story, but I did find myself skimming over a few parts. The words just seemed to explain what was happening versus story telling (if that makes sense). This book is a second in series standalone about two people who have been burned in the past and are trying to rebuild their lives. Despite my few hiccups with this story, I still think it’s cute and would recommend it to others.

Very enjoyable read!
Noah is well-written and engaging. This story's plot kept me reading page after page long past the time sleep should have claimed me.
It's not often I find an author who seems to get better with each read in such a short time, but this one certainly takes that title. This is my third book by Ms. Gavin--who was a new to me author only a short time ago--and certainly not to be my last. Looking forward to the next book is the Knights series. Nicely done!

A very dramatic and emotional read. Ana's backstory is heartbreaking and you really can't resist wishing that Noah turns out to be a better than a fairytale prince cause she sure deserves one. The attraction and chemistry between these two is deep and powerful. With plenty of steam, suspense, drama, secrets, danger and romance the book is engaging and entertaining. I'm posting a totally voluntary, honest review after reading this book.

Having come from such a horrific and sad past it was no wonder why Ana was so detached from everyone. You can't help but wish that some good to comes into her life.and then there's Noah. Having built a friendship over the years it is no surprise the pull. Once the walls start to fall it's hot as hell chemistry that was long over due. Loved the story and loved this couple.

Brilliant read!!!!
This book is amazing. I so enjoyed it. Well written & once you start reading it you can't stop. Ana has got out of a bad marriage with the help of friends. She's starting a new life In a town she been to before. She has a job interview & when Noah sees her he offers her the job. Ana is happy & loves her job. She is conscious of Noah but she can't go there. Noah wants her & he goes for it. Can't wait to read the next book. Thanks.

Anna is hiding from her past. It took everything to escape and she is not looking for a future. Noah however wants everything. When secrets come out Noah does everything in his power to give her her freedom.

Ana has a past. She went to her favorite spot to get away and ended up as a waitress for Noah.

I admit I was not a huge fan of the first book Tristan but Noah is amazing. This book held my interest from the very first chapter and it was hard to put down. The way the two books were woven was really smart. I like that you don’t need to read the first book as this one stands on its own.

Loved this book. Wasn’t a typical rockstar romance but I loved it. Some twists I wasn’t expecting and you really fall in love with the lead characters. Such a great story. Can’t wait to read about the rest of the band;)

The second book in the Knight's Edge series and I know I want to read the next book, this series gets better with each book. This was another great addition to the Knights Edge series. Noah and Ana is a great couple and after all the pain and suffering Ana had to go through alone Noah has he work cut out for him to get through her defenses. I loved the characters and the emotional aspect of the book.

This book was just OK. I did not like it as much as book one in the Knights Edge Series; Tristan.
Ana has a past that she has run away from. She has no interest in a relationship; she left a bad one behind.
Noah wants to get his rock band going and he wants Ana.

This is a romantic sweet sexy story with 2 lost vulnerable souls that find love. The characters are well developed and show great range of emotion. I feel you will not be disappointed so please read this book.

Noah is a great addition to the Knight’s Edge series. I loved seeing more about the band, it’s members and the women that captured their hearts. Noah is a great character and Ana his perfect match.
