Duke and Vanessa started off as friends, but after one fantastic night where they give in to their irresistible chemistry, Vanessa leaves Duke in the dust and forges ahead on her own. Stunned, Duke has no choice but to get over her. Or at least, try to. Fast forward a number of years, and circumstances send them into each other's orbits again, where the sparks are still flying but hearts are more guarded.

As the fourth and final installment of the story of the formation of the Knight's Edge band, this one answers all the remaining questions even as it brilliantly dovetails certain scenes from the earlier books. As a romance, this is top-notch. These two just had to wait for the right timing, and for the best level of maturity to deal with the reasons that separated them in the first place. This is a couple you're going to cheer for, and as the final couple in the band they fit right in. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

loved reading about Duke and Nessa's story. I particularly love the way Liz Gavin gets me engrossed in her new characters lives while still keeping me up to date with the rest of the group.
And oh my goodness I ADORE NANA ELOISA. She's so much fun! I want to be her when I grow up!
A great series that hasn't deminished one bit but has grown in flavour and depth. A brilliant love story that spans years but keeps me on the edge of my seat to see if their love will be enough to keep them together and safe.
I receieved an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review

Vanessa and Duke (Ricardo Alcantara, Duke of Orleans and Braganza) nine years ago were going to college at Cambridge. They were best friends and did everything together. Duke planned a summer vacation for the two on the coast in Italy. They had too much to drink one night and stepped over the line of just friends and slept together. Duke even went as far as saying he loved Vanessa when he thought she was asleep. Unfortunately Vanessa had something happen to her when she went home for Christmas that made her not feel good enough for Duke. She loved Duke, but wanted to be a reporter, not held down, and felt she wasn’t good enough. So she did something to try and make him hate her so he wouldn’t go after her.

Nine years later they run into each other. They are both shocked to see each other. Duke is a singer in a band now and Vanessa is going after dirty politicians in Brazil. I enjoyed learning more about Duke, and how he has handled life without Vanessa for nine years. I liked the two together after maturing the nine years away from each other. This is a good book and I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

A well written book, with a strong storyline and complex characters. Duke and Vanessa share a past as friends and lovers. When fate brings them back together again will they finally try for a HEA? Or will baggage from the past and danger from the present put a permanent end to their feelings and romance? A very good book and addition to this series. I'm posting a totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.

Nessa and Duke got to know each other during their university life. Instant attraction, that developed a friendship. One night changed everything. Will they manage to get together?
Events set after 9 years of their separation showed how they got matured and that change and pace made me love them even more!

Spoilers in second part of review.

The fourth book in the series is able to be read without having read the first three books. It might help to read the others first, especially for the last half of the book but I haven't and I was able to follow along without a problem. All it did was make me want to read the other books.

I liked the book but I did feel that the last part of the book, once Nessa and Duke met again, was a bit contrived. There was so much written about them and their relationship and their breakup and then have them come together within what felt like a few hours to a couple of days, seemed ridiculous. No one spends nine years regretting something (possibly hating someone) to be able to forgive that quickly. More time reconnecting and more than a quick conversation would have been more acceptable and more believable.

I cannot get enough of this series about the band Knight's Edge. This is about Duke and Vanessa. His family has planned a lot for him but fate has its own ways to show you what to do. Well written funny, steamy, passionate story with nice storyline and plot. A bit different approach to finding love and that with a writing style that took me by surprise. I like the characters and the way they develop. A story with twists and emotions. Great read of nice length. I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.

So,,,, this is a stand-alone book, but its helpful if you've read Noah, Tristan and Aiden first, because you will see where the characters fit in alot better, but you will most likely figure it out from this book,,,,

9 years ago, Vanessa Foster or Nessa as Duke or Ricardo Alcartura de Orleans-Braganza Bourbon as he is officially know, (but, his friends all just call him Duke), calls Vanessa,,,, They are each others best friend, always has been for the past 3 years,,,,, Vanessa lost her mom to cancer when she was 6,,,,,, She was sent to a Swiss Boarding School,,,, she has 2 brothers, Mike who is married to Janice and Hayden and their father's name is Jerry,,,, she is going to school @ Cambridge for Journalism,,,, her and Duke did everything together then, until, they went on vacation, alone, together and they wind up sleeping together, Vanessa can't handle things and ditches on Duke, she goes out on assignment to Reporters without Borders to not be near Duke,,, now 9 years later they are back, face to face,,,, how will she handle it,,,,,???

Duke is a 6'5 teddy bear where 5'7 Nessa is concerned, his mom died when he was just 14, he has a strong pull to his "Nana" Eloisa Parary,,, he is a Political Science Major and he thinks Vanessa is the woman he has always wanted, but they are best friends and he settles for that,,, until the night they sleep together,,, he figures they can now be a couple,,,, until she splits, leaving Duke alone,,, he goes thru life and eventually meets Aiden one day and awhile later, Aiden asks him to sing for "Knights Edge",,,, he does so and one day, he sees Vanessa again,,, what is he going to do,,,, He really wants Vanessa as his girlfriend, not just his friend,,,, will anything happen,,,???

So, this is as far as I take you,,, I've introduced you to Vanessa and Duke,,,, there are many people and many things that I've left out,,, so, if you are down for a couple days of reading a good series, "Knight's Edge" starring the 4 boys is it,,,, remember each is a stand-alone,,, but together they are amazing,,,, they have everything you could want,,, action, adventure, see the places these people havd come from, who they meet,,, read the steamy scenes we all know we love and find the hapoily ever after,,, you wont regret it,,,,, I know I haven't,,,,, I would totally recommend this book and the series to anyone.....

This is book 4 in the Knights Edge series and this is a absolutely fantastic read. This is my no 1 favourite genre and Liz Gavin really knows how to write about the rock and roll lifestyle of these characters but sadly this is the last one of the Knights Edge series. I bought the other 3 books to this series and I loved them all but I think this book is the best of them all, there’s nothing like going out with a bang and leaving the best to last and this is Duke’s and Vanessa’s story. Duke and Vanessa were at Cambridge together just as friends until one night they get drunk and sleep together. Vanessa went back home and got on with her life she wanted to be a reporter and even though she loved Duke she wasn’t ready to be tied down in a relationship. Now 9 years later they bump into each other again in Duke’s home country of Brazil. Vanessa is a editor in chief of a magazine and Duke is the lead singer of a band. That my friends is all I’m giving you so go and one click this book you won’t regret it. I love this story and I highly recommend this book a 5 plus ⭐️ read it’s definitely well worth getting.

Having been a fan of this entire series, Duke's story was a great way to wrap things up. Although I have to admit Noah was my favorite (don't judge me for picking one over the others), Duke did have his appeal. Nessa pissed me off for letting him go, I now see that I got a little too involved in their story, but when someone does something stupid you just got a call them out on it. Even though 9 years passed between them the story seemed to pass too quickly. Maybe it was because I knew this was the last in the series, but I would have liked it to have lasted a bit longer and really gotten into more detail.

Exceedingly close friends to enemies to love and marriage. Very delicious main male character. There were a number of sides to this character; a businessman, a rocker and a royal. In all a good friend and family man. The main female character had issues with her father from the past that caused her to not want to be in a committed relationship. As a result of these feelings she broke up with the main male character just after college. However they did reconnect nine years later. Their paths crossed via mutual friends. Interesting how small a world it really is. Their path to a future was full of intrigue, a mystery to solve, a grandmother to placate, great times with friends and learning to depend and trust each other.

This story was excellent. There were a number of plot twists and intrigue. There were parts that were interwoven. Well done!

This was the 4th book in the Knights Edge series. You don’t have to read them in order, but each one provides a great glimpse into the 4 band members and the women they love.

I loved Duke throughout the story, even if it took me a little longer to come around to Vanessa. I couldn’t understand why she was such a brat in the beginning. But give her a chance. She had solid reasons.

I also enjoyed the mystery of the murder Vanessa was investigating.

I can’t wait to read more about the band!

This is a nicely written and an enjoyable read with a strong storyline, with complex characters and of course the right amount of steamy sex. A good friends to lovers to second chance romance story. Can they get past the hurt and heartache?

What an absolutely heart stopping, panty melting, adventure Duke and Vanessa have been on. Liz Gavin have taken the best parts of a perfect friendship, added the insecurities of an angst filled situation, the suspense of a powerful mystery and rolled them together into a plot that continues on with the rest of the band members. What a perfect scenerio with characters I've grown to love. Congratulations!

I enjoyed this story. The forth book in this series about Duke and Nessa. The characters are complex and their interactions meaningful. The only complaint was the story was shorter than I expected and Duke and Nessa restarted their relationship very quickly without any drama. But a good story nevertheless.

Duke and Vanessa had a wonderful friends without benefits relationship until they gave in to their feelings. The road to getting past the old doubts and fears was an emotional one but filled with steamy sweetness that lovers must battle in order to win. This was a really enjoyable rockstar romance with an engaging story.

This was read was a satisfying end to the series. I didn’t much care for Vanessa at the beginning but she became tolerable as the story went on. I can’t say I loved her at the end but if Duke is happy, I’m ok with it. 😉

Duke

The last in a series of how four unknown became known rock stars and the women who felt for them. Although this series didn't do it for me, there is no reason why it might not work for someone else.
