This was so hot. It follows a young woman who can’t decide who she likes more so tries three guys at once! Greedy girl! It’s loaded with chemistry and steamy scenes. Very enjoyable. Excellent narration

She wasn't sure

She would find love, her best friend told her to let go. Little did it mean she would find three wonderful men that made her happy.

It may be a very short book but it certainly packs a punch. Proving that things happen in threes, Kay is left to decide which one of the three men she has a connection with will be the one she ultimately chooses. But why not all three? Highly spicy, highly entertaining and an overall great read.

Flying High
By: Liz Gavin
Narrated by: Catherine Bilson

I enjoyed this fast moving story, it is nicely written and told. Kay Montenaro has been focused on her career and her personal life has been lacking. Taking her best friend Sylvia’s advice she adds a bit of steam into the mix. First with a hot fling with her co-worker, Sean Waterman, but work has a no fraternization policy, so as much as they would like to continue a relationship is out of the question. Her next encounter is truly a mile high encounter she got a little naughty with herself while traveling first class, when she looked up her eyes caught the flight attendants, he looked familiar to her and then she realized it was David Glasgow, whom she met in college. He has a proposition for her which she agrees to and when a third person joins them Kay is surprised to see it was Greg, the person she wished was able to get to know better while visiting her friend on the west coast. This is one hot encounter, there was great chemistry between them, they wanted to take the relationship further but Kay is thinking of Sean and the feelings they have for each other. She tells Grab and David about Sean and they are open to bringing him into their relationship too. Kay just built her very own reverse harem. Liz Gavin, thank you for this great smoking hot story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Catherine Bilson is a terrific narrator and voice artist. She did a great job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. You could hear how much heart she put in to her work as she captured the characters emotions and projected them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen🎧

maybe a 2.5.

Picked this up as part of a free "stuff your nook" day the other day and needed something like this for an HB Reading Embrace prompt and thought, why not? it's only about 2.5 hrs

It's...not that good. One, you do have to take for granted that you're going to elide some relationship building in a novella but there's almost...none...that makes me believe this one woman and three dudes are going to make this work in the very long term. Two, there are a few consent issues floating around, mostly the fact that the time for the second partner (David) to introduce a third (Greg) to the mix, when that is not even a possibility at the start of an encounter, is not when David is (essentially) balls-deep in Kay. Third, she hooks up with her assistant (Sean) prior to encountering David and Greg (together - she made out with Greg in a bar at the start of the story and then didn't meet him again until..."hey we like to share") and then Sean is weirdly pushy about getting together despite her saying that it's not possible due to work rules. Fourth, I didn't find this very steamy, particularly since this is billed as a "Why Choose?" and that foursome is crammed into the end and sort of...fizzles. (also, swords never cross, fyi)

And finally...why is the audiobook narrator English? Every single character in this book lives in the US and went to college in the US (except one - Greg, who is a British Airways pilot, and is the mostly likely to be of UK origin) and they all have nearly identical British accents. Good thing it was so short.

This is a quick and easy read with quite a bit of steam throughout. Kay had been going through a two year slump every since her last relationship ended. She wasn't really looking at getting back into dating or even having a little "fun" with men. That is until her friend pushed her to let loose a little. Let loose she did! Once Kay was in the mindset to have some fun things moved quickly for her. She quickly found three guys that she was more than compatible with. They seemed to be equally compatible. But, can a relationship between these four really work out? You'll have to check this one out to see.

Very Entertaining Adventure!

Kay Montanaro was living a lonely life. Her best friend encouraged her to take a look at her life and change her expectations plus how she dressed. Shortly thereafter she met three different men - one at a time - who were wildly interested in her! She found she was very attracted to each of them! What was she to do? By accident two of her guys met up with her on her airline flight returning from a business trip She ended up sharing her person with both of them! Then she realized she was deeply attracted to her third suitor who also wanted to be with her! What was she to do? There was a very happy ending for them all! I highly recommend this delightful romp to one and all!

This was an enjoyable short Reverse Harem novella. Characters were likeable and unique from each other. Story was entertaining and engaging. She starts by meeting each of them separately, but they do agree to the RH arrangement by the end. I couldn't quite figure out the reason for having a British narrator when all of the characters were American. She was a good narrator, but sometimes her male voice came across... unhappy (? I'm not sure that's the right word) instead of sexy.

I'd enjoy reading more by this author, especially something longer and more developed in the RH trope.

I was provided a free audiobook version in exchange for an honest review.

It’s not a bad a story but it’s not a good story. I am very meh after finishing the book. I am not sure if it’s just the story was just so so or if the narrator who didn’t really impress me made this more of meh story. I finished it but I wasnt really impressed. It wasn’t The worst I have heard but It isn’t one I would pass along to friends or listen to again. I hate giving bad reviews I really do but I Just didn’t feel anything while listening to this story. It honestly reminded me of a cheesy porn in the beginning. It did get better after she gets back to the states but not enough to really make me say I like this book.

I really wish I could show half stars because I truly believe this is a solid 3 1/2 stars. It's definitely not a 3 star, but not quite good enough for me to round up to 4 star.
I think reverse harem stories are difficult to get right, without it sounding too cheesy. I liked the concept of this story and I felt that Liz Gavin wrote an interesting story, but it just didn't have enough of a kick for me.
I listened to the audiobook this story and some of you may know, I consume audiobooks only while I'm working around the house. I missed a few minutes while I concentrated on my task at hand and felt I didn't miss anything.

If you’re looking for a reverse harem story with open minded people, so without a lot of drama, this is it!

Quite a few really scorching scenes.

It lacked a bit in depth of the characters but the hotness between them more than made up for that!

I received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

NL:
Als je een omgekeerde harem verhaal zoekt, zonder veel drama, deze voldoet daaraan!

Flink wat verhitte scenes.

Het ontbrak een beetje aan diepgang in de personages maar hun interactie maakte dat meer dan goed!

This book is the ultimate fantasy for many!! Have you read the teaser? Do you have a faint idea as to what's going on? Yeah, times that by ten and you'll know just how panty melting HOT this book is. And just to add flavor to the many delicious scenes, the storyline, plot and characters of this book are just as sexy, heart warming, and relatable. This one is definitely worth a re-read, just to make sure I hadn't missed any small detail along the way! *wink*

Listened on audiobook.

This is a quick steamy listen. Kay has made her job in the corporate world her top priority which meant giving up on love. A push from bestie is what she needs to get back out there. Once she made the decision to have fun things happened quickly. She finds 3 guys that she is drawn to. Can she choose between then? It will have to read this to find out.
If reverse harem is not your thing you may not want to pass on this one.

The narrator, Catherine did a great job.

Definitely a quick little read, but the plot just felt a little too rushed for me.
I wish it was slightly longer so we could see the relationships between Kay and her men build more. It felt like after a page she was already in another relationship and I just didn't feel like I could fully get into the story.

However, definitely had the spice i was looking for! The fact it was RH was even better!!

I thought this book was just "meh". Not terrible, but not great either. I love Reverse Harem/Why Choose Books, but this one fell short for me. It is a short novella so the story wasn't that in-depth. I listened to this book on Audible and I didn't like the narrator so that probably didn't help. Essentially Kay falls for David who is a long lost friend from college. She also falls for his friend, Greg, and her coworker, Sean. Why choose between them? She chose them all.

Truly what fantasies are made of. Never met such accommodating handsome males in Sean, Greg, and David. Lucky Kay. While the sex is steamy, the characters are lacking in chemistry. The guys need more personality development. Depending on your purpose for reading, story is a fantastical escape. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

This is a quick, sexy read about Kay who has focused on her career for ten years and now it's time to break out of her shell and have some fun. I really like Kay's story and the way she joined the mile high club was hot! If you like short sexy stories with heat you really need to check this book out.

Do I have to choose

Kay was a workaholic and hasn’t had sex in two years she gave up. Kay friend makes her go out and makes her dress sexy. After that she changed her wardrobe and her attitude. She met three wonderful men but she can’t seem to choose. Does she have to ? Good characters and storyline. Recommended.

Good

This was a nice erotic book. I loved the characters were great. The book was a little short and it kind of made me feel like nothing really happened much besides the erotic scenes. Though it was a nice story I wish it would have gone into more detail with her life and her mens life.

Hot, sexy, spicy, steamy! Kay has been hurt before by men now she is coming out of her shell and finds love with her assistant, Sean, a flight attendant and former classmate, David and Greg, whom she met in a singles club. They all find her beautiful and all want to be with her. Love the ending! Wish there had been a little more....a commitment ceremony or pregnancy announcement.

This was my first read by this new to me author. It was full of erotic scenes, a quick read that will keep you entertained until the last page. I would have liked to have seen or felt a bit more chemistry between all the characters, I just didn't feel that connection. But apart from that, the steamy scenes are quite the read. Overall a good story.

Not my cup of RH tea

Not my cup of RH tea. I usually love a good RH/why choose story. I didn't love Flying High. It has plenty of spice, but the plot felt a little rushed. I didn't care for the way, and length of time, it took the 3 guys to come together with Kay. Also, third-person pov is not my favorite.

Good for a dirty read. I expected more with all 4 of them but the storyline made up for that. I listened to the audio book and it was a little disappointing that the only voice was a female. Bc the male voices she tried out was not realistic and I found myself laughing at it. Not very realistic plot but still a fun read.

Repressed no longer

When Kate decided to loosen up a bit and have fun, she wasn't expecting as much fun as she got. The Mile High Club welcomes a new member, and she gets in the style. A hot book where you won't think of flying the same way again.

A fun and flirty read. This book would be a great introduction to reverse harem stories as it was a little lighter than some. It was a quick read indulging in some ultimate fantasy situations, like joining the mile high club!!
