I’ve lived in Backridge, Kentucky my entire life, but never has life been so exciting until Bear, Daniel, and Hector come to town. All of us are just looking to have a good time in and out of the bedroom.
And I’m not that good at math but even I know three dicks are better than one.
I’m Stacey Baymont, and these three sexy strangers are about to turn my world upside down.
When lies come to light, will we be able to hold on to what we have gained, or will it all come crashing down around us?
With darkness hiding in plain sight, a killer running rampant in Backridge, a cult of cannibals, and miscommunications at every turn.
Will love conquer all? Maybe? How the hell should I know? I’m a bartender, not a psychic.
Maybe is an RH Rom-com/Suspense that is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Featuring MM and tons of sexy scenes. Triggers maybe talk of abuse and torture also some mild violence may be an issue for some readers.
In the second book of November’s series we get more edge in both the writing and character. Stacey is more gritty having lived her whole life in the town and has a take no nonsense attitude about her. She knows what she wants and goes after it. I love her feistiness. While we don’t get the fun loving aunt or Bob the ferret in this book, we do get a protective older brother, Stan. I’m hoping he may pop up in a book as a harem member down the line... perhaps for Tracey 😉 I feel that the ground work was laid for Tracey to be the next book MC with her mysterious background.
The bad guy was more hidden this time too. And while I had a feeling about this character even from book one, I wasn’t sure till it was revealed. So great job there, November! The twist of who the guys were as well was a good.
The guys weren’t as dynamic for me, but I did love Bear. Him and Hector were dynamite together. Daniel was very straight lace in the beginning and starts to relax toward the end, so I imagine in the Christmas novella that he may be more sure of himself and connected with everyone.
From crazy cultist, to blonde serial killers this book keeps the reader on their toes. The steamy scenes are mega hot and if you enjoy MM like I do then you will definitely feel the heat. We get to see glimpses of the characters from book one which is fun too.
The book is fast paced in both steam and plot making it easy to sit down and binge. It’s got multiple POV, high steam, MM and a sassy blonde female character. There might be some triggers to be aware of due to the nature of the crimes, but it didn’t feel particularly dark to me as a reader. The trauma was dealt with well too at the end. While crappy things seem to happen in this small town of Kentucky, you can’t help but fall in love with the town and characters.
Loved this book. Its still in same backwoods country town of Backridge Kentucky, but it is about that spitfire bartender Stacey. This book will take you on a wild ride and love it. It is suspenseful, witty, funny, very steamy, drama filled and an all around great story. You will fall in love with this world and all the characters involved and I truly enjoyed how all the characters interconnected in some way. I highly recommend this series!
This had a lot of action between the romance and killer drama. Characters from the first book make a few appearances. It leaves it open that other characters might get books too.
Cute and punchy. I like the relationship build and evolution. The characters are likable but make sure you like sarcasm... definitely a fun amusing and usually spicy read.
I really enjoyed this book. Between the hot relationships of the men, to Stacey just taking why she wants, to the psycho-killer, this was a trip. A good standalone!
