Aiden Bates & Jill Haven has brought us four fabulous books into one book. All four books bring us powerful stories of dragons and different types of Mages who powers differ; evil forces at work for owning the Ancient Tome. The Tome only allows one person to be able to read it and transcribe the information; and every evil Mage wants it.
In each book, these brave men who fight to keep the Tome out of the evil clutches of Mages; protect their Weyr; and along the way, they each find their mates. It’s a thrilling bundle that keeps you on your toes.
Book 1 - Ashes of Memory A blighted relationship between a dragon, Tammerlain (Tam) Blackstone, and mage/esper Vance Beauregard is one of much darkness as they struggle out of the depths of their minds.
From the first betrayal in the book, the mystery as to why and who committed this hideous murder of Tam’s brother and wife, sent Tam and Vance through a world of mages, necromancers, Dark Eaters, abyssal magic, and fragments of psychic energy footprints of magic, to the wicked Dark Eater mage who put both men in the darkness of their own minds lost, but love is stronger than evil and each man helped the other.
Three years prior, a mage’s powerful; strength of evil magic that Vance and Tam had encountered, left Vance’s mind in a place of darkness; it was a miracle the man hadn’t died. The beautiful relationship between the two men, along with the hellfire that had happened was forced from Vance’s mind and hidden behind “the big wall of bad” in order for Vance to heal.
Now, three years later, Tam’s forced to reach out to Vance once again for the help, something Tam had been warned never to do, never to contact Vance ever again. It was painful for Tam to see the man he loved not recognize him; but Vance’s Master Mage said that needed to happen and for Tam to say his good-byes to his lover, all those years ago. But Tam had to see Vance now and ask for his assistance to try to save his nephew, Baz.
There wasn’t any time to lose to find out what had happened to Haval and his wife and to find the scent to where Baz was taken and only an esper was capable to do that. It was not an easy task to ask with Vance’s best friend Mikhail watching over and adamantly against Vance taking such a huge risk with his life and mind again.
Vance was sent to the dark area once again, and Tam goes in to bring his out. The two men help each other through the darkest areas of their minds and back to the world of the living…so much danger in their minds, but their love for each other grew exponentially in their hearts was heartwarming.
Book 2 – Ashes and Grave A snarky, ill-mannered dragon, Nix Emberin, whose overpowering and heartless father had an illness and Nix, was filling in as leader of the Emberwood Weyr. A poltergeist at the Weyr had already killed three members of their community and was causing trouble. Though Nix did not want to bring in a Mages they needed one to get rid of it.
The moment Mikhail, a necromancer arrived he saved the dragon council from harm. Nix was angry from the beginning at having to have the mage in his Weyr. Even though Mikhail needs to be there to rid them of the poltergeist it didn’t stop the dragon from the barbs and insults that spewed from his mouth. Mikhail stayed patient through the rage he was subject to; that was until the two had hot sexy sex and Nix “accidental” mated with Mikhail.
But things became clear as to who was causing the trouble, the man called Ivan, was Mikhail’s brother. The two grow closer as magical attacks plagued the Weyr and Mikhail goes to the underworld. There is a loss, sadness, anger, feelings of betrayal, and a love that wanted to bloom. It was a great read and I totally enjoyed it.
Book 3 – Ashes and Flame This is where Daniel Stroud has he’s own story. Daniel was an Elementalist with an affinity for fire. He’s what is called a “glitcher”, a rare condition that his magic is unstable. He’s also the writer and translator for the Tome.
Rezzek (Rez), 2nd in command under Nix, is asked to bring Daniel, and the Tome, in for his own protection and everyone else. But when Rez locates Daniel Rez finds out that the young man has his own evil force after he called Djinn. The thing has been stalking him to kill him and take the Tome. With Rez’s help, the two narrowly escape its clutches.
Rez calls Nix and they are sent to two places that the mages can supposedly break the connection from Daniel and the Djinn. Rez protects the environment around them by enclosing Daniel around his dragon to prevent the fire from spreading anywhere. Just this act of protection got to his dragon and before you know it the two are mated.
After a fierce attack from the Djinn, both were injured severely and Rez manages to get them both back to the Weyr with Daniel unconscious. There’s a complication from their matting due to the fact that Daniel is already bonded to the Tome. A mess Mikhail has to remedy. The book has fast action, quick thinking, fighting, and mysteries. Something always unfolding and keeps you engaged.
Book 4 – Ashes and Prophets This is the conclusion of all that has happened with evil trying to take the Tome away from Daniel and Rez. The God Eros sends his trusted prophet, Timothy to Emberwood Weyr to help Daniel and Rex save the world. The God Eros (or also known as Cupid) had already visited Daniel and Rez and disappears as Timothy knocks on the door.
Of course, the head of security grouchy Baris arrests Timothy and locks him in a cell. Baris interrogates Timothy and does numerous background checks on the man to no avail. Timothy is released into Baris’s custody by Nix and from there, things really heat up between the two men.
Baris struggles to trust the prophet and to treat him unkindly. The overwhelming need for Timothy to be f_cked dropped all of Baris’s caution to the wind when he entered the room and could smell nothing by the essences of Timothy. It didn’t take long before the two were lovers and became more then what Timothy was allowed. No being claimed, not as a prophet.
The book is fast paces when evil vs. good and monsters come out of the ground and the huge question everyone wanted to know; what happens when Daniel and Rex finish writing the Tome. It was an exciting surprise and brought the whole series to an incredible ending. I’m not going to say what that ending is, because you should read it to get the full effect. Don’t miss out on reading this bundle if you haven’t already bought each book.

Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance, unless you are dragons or magical beings. Ashes of Memory: Tam suffered a severe personal tragedy, and had to appeal to Vance for help. Three years previously, Vance attempted to help Tam and his fellow dragons and suffered severly, taking the year to recover. He was severely damaged, potentially unrecoverable and suffered memory loss. Tam comes and asks Vance for help. Tam feels reluctant, but doesn't remember why. He steps up knowing he will suffer greatly. Baz, Tam's nephew is missing. Vance travels down the path of darkness to help find out what happened to Baz. He is challenged like nothing before. Can he be victorious? Will he survive? Will he find Baz? Will he forgive Tam? Can Tam and Vance find their way toward each other? Fantastic story! All of the characters came together as a well collaborative team. The characters were top notch and absolutely likeable. Well done!
Ashes and Grave: Nix spends a lot of time in an anxious state. He is not afraid to let the Council know he can walk away from the weyr, if they don't believe in him. He is fighting unseen, unknown enemies and it's a bit unnerving. Mikhail is the necromancer sent to help Nix! This is another amazing adventure. The story starts out with a little conflict with Mikhail and Nix positioning them selves trying to finalize their roles. They go through major challenges that darn near break them, but they grow stronger. Can they put aside their prejudices to work together? Do the keep their secrets or share them? Does Nix hold onto his leadership? Does the Council step up and deliver their support? Is Mikhail welcomed? Excellent second story. Excellent follow through.
Ashes and Flame: Mikhail, a necromancer and Nix's mate had identified Daniel Stroud as a key element during his stroll in the underworld. Daniel is strongly linked to the book, which won't give up it's information easily. Ivan had Daniel hidden, but he's on the run. His magic is unstable and he trusts no one. His magic is triggered by emotional spikes. Rez is tasked with retrieving Daniel since he's fireproof. Daniel was slowly interpreting the book, after 10 years, he was on page 6. Rez, caught up with Daniel and was sceptical of his claims. Then he encountered the apparition. Arrogance almost got him killed, instinct saved him. Daniel explained the thing was a Djinn who could always find him because it had a piece of his soul! The adventure just took a sharp turn to what the what? Is Rez clever enough to keep Daniel safe? Can Daniel get strong enough to help with his defense? Will the Weyr be able to protect Daniel? Will Daniel find his center so he can control his magic? Excellent story. Good continuation, good flow. Waiting with baited breath for next installment.
Ashes and Prophets: Timothy and Basri's roles is about choices. Personal choices. Weyr choices. Spiritual choices. What a burden they carry every day on top of the current crisis. They are in a huge if-then-else time of their lives. Ms Haven did an excellent job describing the confrontations between all the characters. I know this is the last story of the series and I hope there are parallel series in the futures so we can see what happens to this group. One of the signs of a good author is planting seeds of wanting more without leaving the reader unsatisfied by cliffhangers. Well done! I received and ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely loved this unique and creative series, and this is a great opportunity to get it all together in one volume. Each book has a separate couple and a self-contained story, but there is a larger overarching mystery that flows through all the books. Below is my opinion on each book.
Ashes of Memory - 5 stars I really love this new story/new series. Wonderful characters, action, danger, drama, old horrors, forgotten memories, reawakened love...this story has it all. I am looking forward to more in this series.
Ashes and Grave - 5 stars I really enjoyed this second book in the Dragon Magic series. I would call it completely stand alone except for the last chapter. At that point, some characters from the first book are involved, so if you haven't read that one, you may be a little confused. It's not a big piece, but it does tie the overarching bigger mystery in with the first book. I loved the story, the gruff angry dragon Nix, and the necromancer Mikhail. I really enjoyed watching Nix and Mikhail fall for each other, and wondered if Mikhail's secret would destroy it all. This is an exciting, fast-moving story, and Mikhail's familiar provided plenty of laughs, too.
Ashes and Flame - 5 stars The plot and mysteries keep getting more intriguing. Every step forward brings more questions. The authors have created a unique and magical world, with likable characters. This time it's an out-of-control mage and the dragon sent to retrieve a book he has who are featured. I loved the way, once Rez saw Daniel, he felt he needed to help and protect him. Their connection was sweet and HOT. I love the way the books intertwine as the bigger mystery unfolds.
Ashes and Prophets - 5 stars All the mysteries, hints, clues, drama, excitement, love, and mating come together in this final book of the Dragon Magic series. We also get a new romance with Basri and Timothy. The action and adventure continues and I was not disappointed in the ending. The entire series is well-written and engaging, and I recommend it to those who like paranormal/fantasy stories.

I love this fascinating bundle. It's action packed with paranormal, fantasy, mystery, suspense, and magic.
Ashes of Memory is Book 1. Tam, a dragon shifter, is on the search for his nephew after he was taken after his brother was killed. Vance goes with him to help and gets lost in his own mind. With Tam's help he is able to escape and is better for it. This book takes you on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. It's touch and go there for a while.
Ashes and Grave is Book 2. This book had dragon shifters and necromancers with an unexpected mating between Mikhail and Nix. When it can down to it they were really there for each other.
Ashes and Flame is book 3. Daniel is a mage that can't control his magic and tends to set things on fire. Good thing Rez, a dragon shifter, is fireproof. Rez is sent to find this mage who also has a magical book and has a Djinn after him. This story drew me in from the very beginning and has become my favorite in the series so far. Rez and Daniel just fit so well together. Theirs was a long hard journey and I love how protective Rez got of Daniel. This book does have the tiniest bit of daddy/boy kink that only adds to their dynamic.
Ashes and Prophets is book 4. This amazing book is about Timothy, a prophet sent by Eros, and Basri, head of security for the weyr. Somehow Timothy slipped through into the weyr without being noticed, there to help and no matter what he's going to do what he's been sent for. I love Timothy and Basri together, love their dynamic with a little daddy/boy kink too.
I love this series and the journey these characters have taken. This is definitely a series to enjoy again and again and I highly recommend it.

I set out to read a chapter or two in this giant bundle and ended up staying up all night because I was desperate to know what happened next. Despite the giant book hangover, I have no regrets.
The writing is good: it flows well, with no awkward grammar or syntax. It's a pleasure to read, and easy to follow.
There’s a great overarching storyline that ties all 4 novels together. The stakes start high and only keep escalating to epic, save-the-world-or-die-trying proportions.
The world-building is pretty thorough, and I like that the history of magic users is complicated and messy and not just simply heroic— mages and shifters have government bureaucracies that make bad decisions as well as a rich history and awesome powers.
Each book focuses on a different couple, and amidst the drama there’s great relationship building. Also, each couple is unique: not only do they have different personalities (the dragon shifters aren’t all cookie-cutter alpha heroes, for example) but they have very different relationship dynamics, both romantically and sexually. Also, it’s awesome that none of them are perfect: everyone has issues and everyone makes it work. Traumatic backstories are reflected in characters’ personalities and how they deal with the world, and troublesome abilities and powers really do cause trouble. It makes for more complex characters, and more compelling drama.
Highly recommend.

Three years ago, Tam and Vance had something really special, but a mission gone wrong saw the latter's memory lost. For the sake of Vance's wellbeing, Tam agreed to let him go. Now, tragedy has struck. The leader of Tam's dragon weyr, his brother, has been killed along with his mate and their only son is missing. As an abyssal mage, only Vance has the ability to track the boy down. But as the two former lovers grow closer once more and concealed memories rise to the surface, will they even survive long enough to have the possibility of rekindling their romance?
I went into this series expecting a straight up paranormal m/m romance with just enough drama and action to add a thin veneer of plot. What I got instead was so much more. Inception-level psychic battles. Apocalyptic magic and conspiracies decades in the making. Love stories that come across as more of a gut punch than a caress. Each book centers on a different couple, but there's an overarching storyline that adds a real sense of complexity and intrigue. Everything just builds and builds and builds.
I'm pretty new to the m/m genre, so it says a lot that I took a chance on this bundle. It definitely paid off! I'll be looking into the other series by these authors right away.

OUTSTANDING READ!!! 10/10 I WISH I COULD GIVE IT MORE STARS WHAT AN AMAZING BOXSET I WAS TOTALLY HOOKED AND COULDNT PUT THIS COLLECTION DOWN. I DID FIND I HAD TO REALLY CONCENTRATE WHEN STARTING EACH BOOK TO MAKE SURE I GOT ALL THE INFORMATION RIGHT BUT ONCE I WAS A FEW CHAPTERS IN WELL THE BOOK WILL HAVE YOU HOOKED AND YOU JUST GET TOTALLY CAUGHT UP IN EACH STORY. HERE IS A REVIEW FOR BOOK ONE!!! WOW THESE TWO ARE COMPLICATED Vance and Tam have such a strong past. A love that they thought was unbreakable. But after something happened they couldnt be together. Tam wanted to mate Vance but it could kill him and he made the most difficult decision to walk away. But now Tam doesn't have a choice his brother and sister in law have been murdered and his nephew has been kidnapped and only Vance can help him. I found this book very confusing at times and I found myself rereading chapter to get a better grip on the storyline. But that didnt take anything away from the story for me. I did like the connect that Vance and Tam had. Their love is so strong. When Vance started to remember and have flashbacks it really opened my heart to the love they once had. A really great read

The titles include: Ashes of Memory, Ashes and Grave, Ashes and Flame, and Ashes and Prophets. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what you’ll find in this set.
*** Reviewing “ASHES AND FLAME #3” *** The mission was supposed to be simple: find the mage with the evil magic book, and bring him back home to Emberwood Weyr. So Rez, a powerful dragon shifter, is looking to find that mage and his magical book. When Rez does find Daniel, whose magic is out of control and is just about out of hope, he is overwhelmingly compelled to protect him, especially as a Djinn comes after Daniel to get at the book he is holding. When it becomes known that the Djinn has a piece of Daniel’s soul, they need to get help from others back home who can better deal with this. With everything going on around them, will Rez be able to protect his mate and get him safely back to Emberwood Weyr? Rez and Daniel definitely deserve a HEA if things can ever get back to “normal” for them!
These authors are a really good team! The fast pacing works well with the events occurring throughout each of the story lines, keeping the reader “pumped up” and excited at where the authors will take us next! Grab your copy and enjoy each of these at your leisure!
I have read all these books and i have to say that by gosh they all are great and exciting Right from book one, right though to book 5 we read more about the dragons and their mates. You certainly wont be disapointed im sure. Book 1 : Ashes of Memory, this is Tam and Vances story. Tam is a dragon whose brother and wife have just been murdered... Magic is detected and whether he wants to or not a mage is called in and that mage is Vance Book 2 : Ashes and Grave, Nix and Mikhail, Nix dosnt think that the Weyr needs any more help, but the council have decided otherwise, and the person who come in to help is Mikhail a necromancer, and it seems he comes just in time. Book 3:Ashes and Flame: Rez and Daniel. This was one heck of a story over a book... wow...great loved it
Book 4 Ashes and Prophets : Basri and Timothy, Basri is the dragon and Timothy the prophet. Now let me tell you that if you have read all of the other stories you really dont want to miss this!!!!!
If i could i would rate this more than 5 stars but 5stars plus for me, thank you for such a wonderful wonderful series.
Dragons, magic, strong sassy omegas, and the alphas who love and protect them.
Each story was easy to follow, no gaps in the story lines. The supporting characters are just as important to the overall world building as the main characters. I appreciate the historical context as it reflects on their current dilemmas. No one dragon/mate situation was the same. Each pairing was perfect for their individual personalities.
Another magical series you can get lost in. I'm a huge fan of paranormal books, and one of my faves to read about are dragons. If you've read any of the books separately as I did, reading the whole series in order is so worth it and now sold as a complete set.

This series is set in a reality of shifters, mages, and gods are part of the human consciousness. Each book features a dragon and his mate finding each other with the mates being different types of magic wielders in an overall arc of a fight to preserve the balance of power. There are two different weyrs (dragon groups) and of cabals (mage groups) with interwoven histories. Each story is a separate mating full of characters, danger and action, a range of magic, and an intense romance. For the lovers of paranormal this series is a treat. Be prepared to be immersed in this brave new world, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Four books describing the difficult relationship between dragons and mages - mages of different ilk. Inherently all of them are good, but sometimes one can become corrupted. To fight for the good and win a mate in the process is the thread that binds the stories, plus, there is a greater evil that tries to manipulate not only the humans, but brings strife to the shifters and the mages in this world. Becoming aware of it and starting to counteract is the background story that brings the four stories together. Each could be a stand-alone, but with the background story they form a small epic tale. I had previously read a couple of these books by Aiden Bates & Jill Haven and I am so thrilled to have all the books in one magical box set.
Each of the books focusses on a different couple and I loved that the authors crafted characters that were all unique with stories that were al beautiful love stories but not carbon copies of each other. There is angst, emotional trauma, passion that will leave you breathless and stories that are filled with intrigue, danger, good and evil and each one will keep you on the edge of your seat to see how things unfold and the motives behind the betrayal, murder and loss.
I totally loved this collection of dragon shifters. I always find it amazing when two people can write together and come up with such a great collection of books. Dragons happen to be my favorite and these books did not disappoint. Now they are a little more darker than and violent than I normally read, but they were still good. This collection of books will take you on a literal fantasy with ups and down, loving and fighting, laughing and crying and relief that the main MC's get their HEA. They have all fought hard to get it and the journeys were so were the wait..

What a wonderful way to read this complete series! The world Jill & Aiden have created is rich and alive. The attention to detail makes it feel like you are there. The characters burrow into your psyche and delight your senses. This is a continuing story. Having one book flow into the next in one place is so much easier. If you love dragons & mages, you will love this bundle. Throw in Eros, a magical book, villains that don't want to stay dead, and lots of steamy sex... what's not to love! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, everybody knows about dragons and magic! So this doesn't have the tired drama of 'regular human stumbles into hidden supernatural society'. Plenty of intrigue and suspense in INTERESTING ways from other conspiracies and secrets!
Romances were lovely. Different dynamics in each story, and each character was distinct and emotionally complex. YES PLEASE, MORE! Steaming hot sex, too. I only deducted points for my antikinks. And even so... happy endings and happy couples make me sappy happy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the various stories. The authors provide a lot of depth to the characters set in a world with defined rules for magic and shifters. The only reasons I'm not giving it five stars is the sexual content at times detracted from the stories and a couple of the editing misses caused me to reread a couple of sentences to try to figure out what the actual intent had been. Overall there weren't a lot of editing misses.
Dragon Magic Series Bundle by Aiden Bates is an awesome box set of four awesome stories. I loved reading this awesome box set cause I love reading about dragon shifter and anything to do with dragon magic. I highly recommend this awesome box set to everyone who loves reading about dragon shifters, LGBT and paranormal romance.

Loved this series and the one before, but one thing spoiled it for me. The use of the name daddy while they where intimate. It but me right off, and made me feel sick to be honest at the thought it provoked. There are many names that could have used,, but boy, and daddy should NEVER have been it. It was just plain wrong. Aside that, good story, likeable characters, I enjoyed it.
It was a long while since I last read as a good book as this. It’s full of romance and hot scenes, which is nice, but it’s also a really excellent story! It would have been almost as nice without the sex actually, which isn’t usual. The writing is very good and the storytelling is superb, and if you like dragons and action and romance and suspense and all the good stuff, this is the book for you! And of course, male on male love. It’s a wonderful read.
I like that the books caught my attention from the beginning. You have sparks flying, drama, suspense, Love the characters. They keep you on the edge of your seat. Another great read by this author. Awesome box set

Anything by Aiden Bates and Jill Haven is a must read: No one can write hurt/comfort, paranormal, and shifters tropes like these two. The Dragon Magic series have well-written stories and the world building is very thorough. I love the suspense that has been building up about the big war.

You will enjoy this collection of stories. The story are well written, they will hold your attention all the way through. The characters fit well together and have amazing chemistry. You will end up reading all of the, I couldn't put them down. You will not be disappointed. A must read.
This book takes you further into the supernatural world of madges and dragons. Nix grew up feelin second best in his father's eyes. Mikhail helps Nix to see the truth about how madges can help his Weyr as the two fall for each other. It causes problems for Nix with his father and a bad necromancer that has ties to his mate. They find a way to beat the odds but somehow it's not enough.
This series sets up an incredible world with a major bad guy. I thoroughly enjoyed how themes carried along in each book. The series needs to be read in order. The big reveal at the end is utterly amazing. This is a must read series.
Loved these stories! Great characters! Has all the feels! Danger and intrigue! Plenty of steam! Great storyline! Love dragons! Am never disappointed with Aidens books!

Oh My Goodness. I have loved reading these amazing books. You feel so invested in the characters and story when you read them. These books were gripping, well written and the chemistry between the characters was just awesome!!
