**Bloody Business Prequel**

Mafia Family | Arranged Marriage | Enemies to Lovers

A burning sneer, a snide remark, and a stolen kiss.

Three distinct memories among a million others that stain my childhood with Remy Luciano.

Sour gummy worms and a nickname.

Two more memories and everything I loved to hate started blurring at the edges.

A wedding dress made for another.

And one whispered confession that has gripped the three of us in its sticky fingers of heartbreak and doubt...

You've always been Mine.

Mine, A Bloody Business Prequel by @ajwolf_author
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

I was honored to beta for our amazing Mob Queen and Wolf Pack Leader, AJ!
This book is raw and unedited but DAMN! I have nothing bad to say. I love it. It’s gritty and touching, giving us the story of how Remy and Beverly came to be the amazing alpha couple they are.

“Want to ditch this shitty ass charity and do something fun?"

“I don't particularly like spending time with you."

“Is that a yes or a no, Bev?”

Remy and Beverly will forever hold a big spot in my heart but can I just say....
I WANT MORE JULIAN!
Bring him back to life! I need him so badly! If that made me sound like a needy bitch, it’s because I am. The brother and sister bond those two had was everything.

“I look like an idiot.”

“You don’t.”

“You look like a pilgrim. Like a really saucy one, with your ankles showing and all that skin.”

Their banter made me smile so fucking hard. I love them. The greatest brother and sister ever.
There’s so much to this book and yet I still need more. What have you done to me AJ?
Anyway.... BRING BACK JULIAN!
That’s all for now. 😁

Mine is the prequel to My Heart where we first fell in love with Remy and Bev.
And I do freaking love them! They are perfect for each other in every way. I don't think anyone could handle the stubborn, sarcastic, independent and sassy Bev like Remy can! They balance each other out since Remy is the silent domineering type and boy did he have me on full alert! Anytime he opened his mouth, I was all ears!

But reading Mine you learn that their beginning wasn't exactly easy. I guess it never is in the mafia. There are always obstacles and theirs was a living breathing issue.
It made their story angsty. Their time together alittle forbidden and sexy!

I'm so glad AJ decided to put this book out into the world because it just makes you love and appreciate them so much more! Seeing the younger versions of everyone was fun too! And getting to know Julian... I freaking love him and I wish I could change his future lol.

So! If you loved The Bloody Business series, OF COURSE, YOU HAVE TO PICK THIS UP!

"A burning sneer that was made from a warm honey gaze.
A snide remark that was split by a winking dimple.
And a stolen first kiss that tasted as sweet as burnt sugar."

I have been waiting for this book for a long time and got involved in promoting it. When I do that, I do it solely because I believe in the story, I believe in the book, I believe in the author, and I want to share that with all of you.
AJ has shown remarkable talent and the whole “Bloody Business” series is worth your time.

Although this is a prequel of book1 “My Heart” or as Remy likes to call Bev “Cuore Mio” and I knew it would have a happy ending, the butterfly in my stomach did their thing. For several reasons:
- alpha handsome and stable, for many frightening and demanding future mafia boss - who knows what he wants,
- a fearless young lady who knows how to fight for herself,
- love that has been woven since childhood ... with a little thorny path to happiness but with a lot of love and trust they succeeded.

A light and interesting read, which will make you laugh and cry, just as it should be - simply put, which will leave you breathless!

"He's held my heart behind his ribs for as long as I can remember, I was just too stupid to see it until it was too late. It has always been him. He is it for me."

‘I know I only get a set number of stolen moments, brief touches, and hot kisses from here on out so I’ll brand them to my heart with a hot iron, never forget what it was like when he was mine.’

Mine by AJ Wolf is a new adult, mafia, enemies to lovers, arranged marriage romance, is told from duel POVs and is the prequel in the Bloody Business series.

Every single one of AJ’s books have been pure fuc*king perfection and this one is certainly no different. I’ve been wanting more of Bev and Remy since reading My Heart back in May, and this is everything I had hoped for and more.

I loved seeing how their lives were prior to everything that happened in my Heart, how their relationship came to be and watching their love story slowly unfold. It had its swoon worthy moments as well as angst, sass, drama and humour. I loved every single moment of this book and can’t wait to see what AJ has next in store for us.

If you have yet to read this series, I highly recommend starting it today!

Thank you to AJ Wolf for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Please note: This book does contents that some readers may find triggering and/or disturbing. It’s also contains elements that some readers may consider as cheating.

I'm new to this universe so this was a fitting introduction! This is the prequel to the Bloody Business series - the first book in particular. Here, we get a first glimpse to Beverly and Remy, and it's glorious and intriguing. Their start is a rough one with trials and tribulations. It also had lots of entertaining banter and intense chemistry with two people where the odds weren't exactly in their favor. Since I'm new and I don't know what happens in the next books, I'm looking forward to the events in My Heart!

I’m so glad AJ decided to write this book it just made me fall in love with and appreciate these characters more ! We got to see everyone when they were young and before mafia life really changed them . I loved getting to know Julian and seeing how loyal and close him and Bev were to each other it makes my heart hurt so much more for them . Mine was a angsty steamy a little forbidden addictive read and once I picked it up and started I couldn’t put it down. I was so glad we got a peak into the past of these characters and will definitely be doing a reread of The Bloody Business series because how could I not when reading about these wonderful characters! This is a definite must read if your a fan of this series and if you’ve never read it before it’s the perfect read to introduce you to them !

If anyone knows how to hit you with a plot twist it’s AJ.. Woah! I didn’t know what I was expecting but this was not it! If you think you have an inkling of what this book entails! You’re wrong! AJ threw Cliche out the window and just spun a love triangle trope on its axis! If you read a new book this summer, make it this one! This is a Must read! ⠀⠀
MY GIRL IS EVERYTHING & MOREE!!!
AJ didn’t waste any time in throwing us in the deep-end!! I had only just about started it and I was already stressed...
⠀⠀
YESS! JESSIE IS BACK!! & he came back for something he shouldn’t have left behind, his Laney girl! The problem is Delaney is still very much in a loving relationship with Donatello. I know right! talk about stresss!! But also 😍swoooooooon😍 Jessie... Donatello... Jessie... Donatello!
⠀⠀
Have you read the first two books in the Bloody Business Series?! My Girl is book 3 and AJ did it AGAIN!!! This was utter delicious, sauciness!!! I’ve been dying for Jessie’s story!! Literally holding my breath!! And it couldn’t have been better or more beautiful or more ugly
⠀⠀
Every interaction between Jessie and Delaney and my heart stuttered!! I’m soo happy he finally got his fighting chance.. But also he’s not on a fair playing field with, Donatello! OH gosh! He’s super dark, twisted and sexxy!! His relationship with Delaney is still whitty, cute and literally couple goals. What the hell type of dilemma is this?! &then to add fuel to my indecision, Jessie came back with absolute swagger in his every step, he’s such a dark horse & the glimpses we saw of him in My Life doesn’t even scratch the surface.
⠀⠀
I literally finished this book in a couple of hours!! I was so upset, like I need more, don’t think I could get enough of these books and can’t wait for what AJ has install for us next!!

Oh Bev and Remy how I love them! This prequel novella to Bev and Remy’s story is EVERYTHING I could have wanted and so much more. I loved getting to see how their story started!

Bev is full of sass and feistiness and I LOVE her even more. She is not one to follow the rules and does what she wants. She is strong and fearless and after reading the previous books in the series she stays true to herself. I love that she isn’t afraid to stand up against Remy or really anyone. Remy is his typical alpha self, even as a teenager.

The chemistry between Bev and Remy is on FIRE from the moment they met. There is a connection between them, there is tension, the love/hate relationship between them. Their relationship hasn’t been easy and this just goes to show everything they had to go through at the start. There is so much power and raw emotions between them and how they express their feelings.

I loved seeing Bev and the relationship with her brother, Julian. Plus, the relationship between Bev and Donatello, Bev and Laney and Bev and Andrea. It was fun seeing how they interact and their friendships forming.

Mine is a great prequel and perfect introduction to the Bloody Business series. A MUST READ!!!!

Loved it. LOVED IT!
If you hadn't already guessed it, I LOVED THIS BOOK. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!
The minute this arc landed on my kindle, nothing else existed. I read it like some sort of speed demon. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.

Bloody Business is one of my favourite series so when I found out that A.J. was writing the prequel to Remy and Beverly, I was SUPER excited!!
If you have already read the series, you will know that we meet Rem and Bev (and mid relationship drama) in the first book but I always wondered how they came to be.

Mine was full of surprising humor. I honestly did not expect it to be as funny as it is and I found myself laughing out loud more than once. The banter between Bev and the guys (Julian, Andreas, Donatello and even Remy) was hilarious. But I enjoyed the back and forth between Remy and Bev the most. I did not expect for this to be an enemies to lovers trope but it was bloody perfect. I absolutely ADORE Beverly's character. I already loved her, but more so now that I have met a young Bev.
Remy. Can everyone just say SWOOOOOOOON.
The chemistry between the two of them is explosive. The scenes between them are so HOT that I was convinced my kindle was going to catch on fire. Not to mention, the love and adoration left me saying "awwwwww" on more than one occasion. But there is also moments where you feel your heart crack in two... like you feel the pain!!

In true A.J. form, this story will destroy you! After reading the prologue, I knew I was in for a world of pain (even though I have read the whole series and know how they end, IT STILL KILLED ME!!!).
I am obviously still holding a grudge because when we meet a young Donatello, I couldn't help but pull a face of disgust... but don't worry. It will also put you back together because that ending... siiiiggggghhhhhh. The smile on my face was HUGE!!

I WANT MORE!!!! It was just another phenomenal book by A.J Wolf and I cannot wait to see what she writes for us next.

Mine: Bloody Business is the prequel to this great series. If you have read the rest of the series you would have been introduced to Bev and Remy and their somewhat complicated relationship. Both characters fit so well together but boy are the stubborn and definitely take the long way around when it comes to their relationship.

We get a glimpse into what they were like as children then older as they navigate their feelings for each other, whether it be frustration, sometimes hatred and developing into something more. It does seem to take Bev a little while longer to realise her feelings for Remy and how that turns out is quite heart-breaking, especially when Remy is forced to choose someone else (and not a nice someone else!)

We see how both Bev and Remy sneak away to be with each other and how that hurts them both at different times and the sacrifices that Remy needs to make in order to not only keep Bev safe but also to cement his position in his dark world. There are some very sexy scenes between the two as well as some real heart-breaking moments when we see the relationship through Bev’s eyes, but there are also some times where Remy comes across as really selfish, especially when he doesn’t tell Bev about his engagement and subsequent marriage.

The one thing that was really enjoyable about this story was getting to see previous characters as younger versions of themselves and how their relationships were built. I also loved the snarkiness that Bev has with her twin….priceless! The story certainly makes you see all characters in a different light and gives and explanation to why they are the way they are in the following books.

If you like your books complex, emotionally charged and steam then A.J. Wolf is the one for you!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review, all opinions are my own. 😊

There goes my heart. I. AM. DONE. 💀⁣

When AJ Wolf announced the release of 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 - prequel of 𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓, I could not wait! 𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 is a unique mafia romance because they’re already married ~ Bev wants to divorce Remy for betraying her in the worse way (not the way you think!) but we all know there is no divorce in the Famiglia. ⁣

So we don’t see the build up, we don’t know how they came to each other’s lives. I had so many questions after reading 𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 & thank goodness! They’re finally answered 😂 talk about starting a series with a cliffhanger!! Geez! ⁣

𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 brings us the backstory of Remy & Bev - childhood friends (who would’ve known!) who skated the line of hate & love. We see them as children, first crushes, first kisses, working their way through their feelings & finally giving into each other! Being the next Capo, Remy has a responsibility to his family, which unfortunately means he’s to marry someone else, & break Bevs heart. One thing that bothered me was that Bev continues an affair with Remy knowing he’s engaged to be married. Come on girl, have some pride! But Remy makes it impossible, not allowing his heart to walk away & trying to find ways out of the contract so he can be with his one true love, so I probably wouldn’t have been able to leave him either 🙈⁣

Of all the Capos I’ve read, Remy is the most romantic, the sweetest, the most loving ~ especially while pinning Bev to a boxing mat to screw her brains out is any indication 😂 I only wish that this was a little longer & there was an epilogue to bring us to the beginning of 𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 but maybe I’m being a little greedy 😬⁣

This was the PERFECT story of Bev and Remy. If you already read My Heart in this series then you already know that they are both stubborn, fighters, and they don't give up. They started that way from the time they were kids until they got together.

Remy always knew how he felt about Bev and you see peeks at his protectiveness throughout their younger years in Mine. Bev took a little longer to acknowledge and accept her feelings. But when she does it's too late, Remy is arranged to marry someone else.

Remy and Bev sneak off and spend time alone together. Remy asks because of how he feels. Bev pretends to go just because she's bored. But when she finds out about his engagement, she can't hide her feelings anymore. Her jealousy shows through no matter how much she wants to deny it or hide it. Remy doesn't want to hurt her, she's his heart!

The way they express themselves to each other is so raw and real. I felt EVERY emotion. My heart broke with theirs. I cried and gasped. But they won't go down without a fight and it made me feel more and love them more. But everyone knows, you don't go against La Famiglia 😩 I was angry at Remy for getting engaged and not having the balls to tell Bev himself. But I know why he couldn't. He loved her too much and couldn't look at her when she was hurt. Plus he was trying to go against it until the Famiglia made sure he couldn't anymore and he was already working on a plan.

Their connection and fight to be together is so powerful and emotional. It's everything they are and everything they have thrown into it. Remy won't stop until he finds a way out and gets his heart back.
Viva thinks she's so clever. She's a manipulative bitch and I hated her. 😂 sorry, not sorry. Bev does not put up with her shit though and low key neither does Remy. I don't want to give anything away but don't give up on them, keep reading, push through the pain.

Also, I'm a sucker for Donatello ever since My Heart and My Life. I fucking loved his jokes and was so happy that there was a couple in this book as well. We also get to see Bev's relationships with her brother, Delaney, Donaatello, and Andrea and how they developed. I loved seeing the different sides and relationships to all of them and seeing Delaney grow up. Andrea was unexpected and I loved it. Bev really grows and changes throughout this story. It also helped me understand more of her in My Heart and why she was the way she was. I always loved her and Remy but I love them even more now.

As someone who's read book 1, I knew how this would end BUT the emotional ride AJ Wolf took me on was so unexpected.

I'm not a huge fan of prequels so I was really nervous to get this arc but oh. my. god. I did not need to worry at all. I know this may be a wild thing to say but I'm pretty sure I might like this book more than book 1...I KNOW I KNOW. How DARE I say that.

I just, well, I absolutely adore Remy in this book. He's been in love with Bev since the beginning and I just CANNOT with him! He is soft a soft boi in this prequel, but yet still manages to be this dark and demanding guy. Bev is absolutely everything to him and SERIOUSLY, Remy is just amazing!

Bev is super hard-headed and stubborn and just the perfect counterpart to Remy. She never holds back her thoughts and is absolutely confident in herself at all times. I loved seeing her feelings grow for Remy -and watching her realize them too.

This prequel didn't feel too slow, nor did it feel too fast. I didn't feel like I was being rushed at all. This book was honestly a nice surprise and I 1000000% recommend it!

How do you rate a book that you seriously grown attached to. Remy and Bev aren’t just fictional characters to me. I’ve grown to love them as if they’re actual people. Witnessing their journey has been AMAZING. Reading where it all began and falling head over heels in love w two of my fav characters all over again has been an experience i will forever treasure. I can’t say it enough AJ is D O P E at what she does. She grabs your heart , rips it all apart & then slowly pieces it back together to make you feel whole again. You guys MINE is literally E V E R Y T H I N G. You fall in love w Remy & Bev but also Julian , Andrea, you meet laney as just a child & See young Donatello as just a Goofy & fun character I’m sorry this is easily one of my absolute FAV books. & i don’t think my words will ever do it justice. I highly highly highly suggest reading this book and the whole series if you haven’t already AJ literally does witchcraft because there’s nothing about her books that i don’t absolutely love.
.
.
AJ thank you for taking me on this journey with you. A little sad this is the last book. Idk if I’m ready to say my goodbyes to these amazing characters.

》This is the Bloody Business Prequel and meant to be read before the rest of the series - reading order: Mine, My Heart, My Life, My Girl.

Pretty sure I found A.J. Wolf during an Instahop and I am beyond thrilled!

There's something in this story that hits me deep in my soul. Maybe it's too close to reality. Maybe it's the phenomenal writing. Whatever it is I will read anything and everything she writes from this point forward. Enough with my emotions, I cried enough reading this book - both happy and sad tears.

As this is a short read, before you begin make sure you heed the authors words and have the song Give me by Boy In Space playing while reading chapter 10. This momentary pause in reading is 100% worth it. Having the song playing, you can almost feel yourself existing in that moment with the characters.

And some housekeeping, if other woman drama isn't your thing than steer clear of this book. Although I will say this book is not like the numerous OW books on the market. A.J. Wolf finds a way to make you excited for the turmoil.

Bev isn't a typical mafia princess, actually she's the opposite.
"You out shoot everyone I know at the gun range, your boxing skills match some of the best fighters I know, you cuss like a sailor" - Julian

Remy is 5 years older and the future Capo Famiglia of the Italian Mafia. He is also her frenemy. He calls her his Cuore Mio, a nickname she doesn't know the meaning to since she is a 'bad italian.' Their connection spans a lifetime and moments like this one remind you exactly how much:

"Want to get out of here?" his lips brush my palm in question.
Without permission the words fall from my lips in answer, "I don't particularly like spending time with you."
His dimple stings my heart as much as it coaxes a flutter. "Is that a yes or no, Bev?"

The future Mrs in the arranged marriage is the true OW in my opinion. And I. DO. NOT. LIKE. HER. AT. ALL.

I know I've been raving about this book but one last thing before I stop talking - these two never have sex in a bed!! 🔥🔥🔥

I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about Bev at first. I didn’t understand why she was so angry and rude to everyone. But I also love the fact that she stands up for herself and does not let anyone treat her poorly.

Remy is a damn snack though.
The two may be complete opposites but they worked so well together.

I am 100% certain that anyone who reads this book will immediately go buy the next.

I was so excited when I found out we’d be getting a prequel to Mine (My Bloody Business) since like so many AJ Wolf fans, I have a very special place in my heart from Remy and Bev. And this short novel does not disappoint- it has everything I’ve come to love about these two lovers and gives us the story about how their epic romance all began. Plus, we get to see some of the other relationships from a younger lens- which was a fun bonus.

Mine picked up right at the potential demise of their marriage- a less common (and super interesting) starting place for a romance, and after seeing just how things played out and who these two were, I was so curious about the beginnings. What I loved about this prequel is these characters are still very much who they are in Mine- just younger, less mature, less wise, but still the same important bones underneath their skin. Bev is still the fiery, sassy, independent pistol that we love so dearly, stil resolute and strong.even as a teen. aAnd Remy is still the level-headed alpha who is self-possessed in his needs, demanding and persistent in his wants.

Watching their chemistry evolve in the early phase, in the young and unjaded time was a great juxtaposition to seeing their chemistry later- when they are trying to repair. But what is constant is that these two are clearly meant to be - two halves to a whole. Their connection is as undeniable as teens as it was as adults, and how delightful to get their same push-pull dynamic just through a different lens and obstacles. Like all things mafia, nothing is every linear or easy- and we find that their beginning had just as many challenges as their marriage, but through it all, with all the angst and obstacles, these two prevail, stronger and more emotionally bound, always belonging only to each other.

This is a marvelous introduction to a series that I hope more and more readers discover and come to admire as much as I. AJ has a great writing style and such distinct character voice- these books bring a wonderful spin on the mafia genre, and I hope more people take notice! I'd still recommend starting with My Heart, though- I think that will help you better understand and love them both, but this can be read first!

“I don’t know when it happened. When everything I loved to hate turned into something I hated to love.”

STORY:
Beverly would have had nothing to do with Remy if his father wasn’t Capo. Well, that’s what she tells herself. The sparks between the two have flown ever since they were young children, but Remy is being forced in to an arranged marriage with someone else.

I loved the sexual tension and chemistry between Beverly and Remy – it was off the charts hot and palpable! My favorite thing about this book, however, was Beverly herself. Talk about a spitfire! Described as, “the female version of a dude,” Beverly may very well be the strongest female main character I’ve ever met. I was really entertained by her!

There is no denying that Wolf is extremely talented - very eloquent and creative – yet I struggled to get in to this story. Especially the first 75% of this book which at times seemed to drag on painfully slowly. I absolutely loved the last 25% of the book when it became much more exciting, perhaps because we get to hear from Remy‘s point of view.

I also was regularly distracted by mistakes which I will discuss separately below for those who are interested.

REVIEW OF EDITING/PROOFREADING:
This book badly needs to be professionally proofread!!! There were typos such as INTO instead of IN TO, TICKING for TICCING, TICK for TIC, THAT although it should’ve been WHO, always using FURTHER even when it should’ve been FARTHER and always using MIGHT when it should’ve been MAY. Certain words weren’t capitalized that should’ve been (such as the word FRENCH), yet some words were capitalized that shouldn’t have been (such as, “F*cking Idiots.”). According to the Chicago Manual of Style, single quotation marks and ellipses were not placed correctly and semicolons were used incorrectly. Occasionally, rules for apostrophes/possession with words ending in the letter S weren’t followed (“Boss's”), yet other times, they were not (“Francis’”). There were several sentences with extra punctuation (for example, “You’ll have to tell Geo, hi for me,), sentences with missing punctuation (for example, “So I just pretend I don’t notice instead my breaths quicken ever so slightly as his warmth wraps around me,”), sentences with missing words (for example, “my hand leaves his chest just for it be caught in his rough palm.”) and sentences with the wrong word (for example, “I’d feel bad if I didn't mean every word I've said.”).

The majority of the errors were regarding commas. Rules for commas and the word OH we’re not followed (for example, “Oh hi” should have been “Oh, hi”). Commas did not follow APPARENTLY when it began a sentence like they should have, and similarly, the word THOUGH was not surrounded by commas when meaning HOWEVER in the middle of a sentence. Commas weren’t placed between multiple adjectives (for example, “stuffy old looking decor” AND “dark loose hair”), and the FANBOYS comma rule wasn’t followed.

Mine was outstanding, fantastic, and so many other word but does not do it justice. I absolutely am in love with this book. AJ Wolfe outdid herself with Mine. I was right there with Bev going through the roller coaster of her feelings. After all, it can’t be easy what she went through. You could feel and understand with all the word choice and reactions AJ wrote when it is Remy’s POV. I laughed at their antics and byplay when they were growing up. You just knew that Remy wanted and loved Bev. Bev denied loving Remy and always said she hated him. It became a joke between them when Remy asked Bev to go with him. When they got older and circumstances and situations changed the one thing that did not was their love. I seriously cried towards the end along with Bev and Remy. There were a few surprises for Bev and Remy and you just felt each of their emotions and wanted to guide them along the way back to a place where they are happy. AJ was originally writing Mine as a short Prequel to the Bloody Business series but it turned into a regular sized book which I for one. Knowing though that it was a prequel I kept thinking AJ was going to leave us hanging with a cliffhanger. I am so glad that was not the case. I just can’t tell you, readers, that can adequately how much I recommend Mine. I do not want to put it down and want to dive into Bloody Business to see more of the situation and outcome between Bev and Wolf. I have not read Bloody Business yet and can’t wait to read it. Whether you have read the series or not you will want to read Mine. You will not regret reading it and I am sure you will love it. Enjoy!!

This prequel was sheer perfection. I adored this story and read it in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. The love story between Remy and Bev is a rocky one filled with emotion, heartbreak and strife. Beverly is the perfect character. She is headstrong, confident and feisty. She is the perfect companion for mafia prince Remy. Their love is a slow angsty burn but once it ignites an inferno ensues. Beverly fights her feelings for Remy for so long until she is faced with the knowledge she may lose him forever. Remy is torn between his loyalty to the family and his love for Bev. This story is beautifully written, powerful and full of emotion. My heart broke for these two. I would give this story all the stars! You need to read this book.

I've been dreaming about this book for ages, and let me tell you, none of them made it justice. It was everything I hoped for and so much more. To see the growth of feelings between them through the years. The teasing, the secret moments, the stolen kisses... It was amazing. The chemistry between Bev and Remy is addicting, and so fucking hot. The way they complete each other is beautiful. And to see them after all the shit they've been through is a dream come true. I love Bev to death, she's strong, a sassy and hilarious little thing that makes laugh every damn time. And love Remy has for her? She's his world, his Heart. And I couldn't be happier about their ending 🖤

Even though I know that Remy and Beverly end up together since this is a prequel it still hurt to read. Oh, it hurt so good though. I was on an emotional rollercoaster and felt the push and pull between the pair. I was happy, sad, mad, you name it. The author pulled al sorts of emotions from me which made this such a phenomenal book. AJ Wolf slayed this story! This is a 5 star read that I would recommend to lovers of angst and mafia romance.

Cuore Mio...MINE! Those three words that I can’t let go! I don’t even know where to begin with how much I LOVED this book!

I knew from the minute I read the blurb...I was a goner! Then I had the pleasure of reading the first four chapters and OMG!!!! I absolutely fell in LOVE with Remy!

Remy, his name alone speaks volumes! He was everything any girl could want! Hotter than fire, built, had sex appeal for days, not to mention a jealous but but not mean streak but others knew what belonged to him and not try and interfere, plus he had multiple tattoos. Love me some tattoos with all my heart!

Beverly was OMG the best! She was just one of the guys in girl form! She didn’t take any meds from them either! I loved her attitude, how she dared any of the guys in their circle to mess with her but above all, I loved her an Remys relationship (or lack of lol)!

I loved Beverly and Remys story sooooooo much! There was passion and sex but not too much sex that it would make you want to put the book down but just enough to where you can’t put it down (I hope this makes sense to you because it does to me)! If you LOVE enemies to lovers which is my absolute fave because everything builds and builds and builds into smothering so much more and you start caving just like the characters!

The plot twist in the end was totally unexpected and I couldn’t believe my eyes but was so excited when things finally started to look up! I’m not gonna give too much away but you definitely need to start this series! I’m hooked!!!

Oh Remy Remy, where far are thou!!!! AJ Wolf has a fan for life now (I hope your ready sha because I’m not gonna be a stalker but just know that I’m gonna blow up your messenger when I start the next installment lol)! I knew this book was gonna leave an imprint on me from those first four chapters I read and I was RIGHT!

Go get this book y’all!!!!

I just can't get over this book! Remy and Bev's story was ALL THE THINGS! I can't get enough of of her personality. So fiery and full of sass. Their relationship is so sweet and absolutely hilarious at the same time. Now that I understand how their story began, I'm even more excited to do a reread of the next book in the series!

Mine is the Prequel where we first fell for Remy and Bev.
I loved reading about them as they grew up.

They are perfect for each other, they balance each other out. Bev is stubborn, sarcastic and sassy and Remy seems to be the only one that can handle her! He's the strong silent and domineering type.

You learn in this prequel their love story want so easy ( it is the mafia...I guess not everything can be that easy 🤷🏻‍♀️) Remy is pretty much forced into an arranged marriage via his father, but not to the woman he truly loves, his "Cuore Mio" ( his heart), Beverly.

I laughed ( a lot) and cried (a lot). This book is the perfect introduction into their relationship if it's your first read, and if you're like most of us that have read the other three books, it explains everything about their relationship and how they got to where they are today.

AJ, as always you wrote a stunning novel that makes a person love these characters even more!💖

Thank you AJ Wolf for providing me with a advanced copy in exchange for an honest review, but honey, I'd read any book you write anytime, you are an amazing and talented woman🥰

THE ANGST! OMG! I was dying reading this story. I have tears rolling down my cheeks from all the raw and unfiltered emotion. My heart is sore in my chest from all the clenching it did. Remy and Beverly's hate and love is all consuming and takes my breathe. I'm just enamored by the journey that this author took me on.

I am so glad that I read this book first before the others in the Bloody Business series. I know I am in for a hell of a ride when I do dive into My Heart, book one, Remy and Bev's story continued. This read has gutted me and I am here for whatever is to come. I am greedy and achy for more steamy, unadulterated, lust inducing moments. I loved Bev's take no crap attitude. All it took was an intoxicating, seductive throat grab from Remy and they were so in sync, laid bare for each other.

I'm just in love with this author's writing. Just an absolutely f****** phemomal read. I'm hooked and there's no going back.

Sometimes it's good to step out of ur comfort zone!

"I knew in my heart he was still mine. I knew he still wanted me. I take a deep breath, his desperate words winding between my ribs. A tear slips down my cheek and he lifts from my forehead, wiping it away with his thumb. I can see the flash of doubt in his eyes, the worry etched on his face. A display of emotion he'd only ever allow me to see. He thinks I'm crying because I don't believe him"

Well slap my behind and called me momma!!
This book I only came apon because of a book challenge I was doing from a fb group.... I scrolled through 100s of books with the title MINE in it :-) stopping on this from the alluring cover filled with red (my fave colour) even the blurb was mysterious not given much away. But wat it did say I knew it was the troupe I tend to stir away from with my books....

Buuuutt well did it surprise me.
I LOVED IT!!!
The plot was very interesting and had me on edge not known wat was goin to happen from page to page. I was invested in the 2 MC who were very likable. The h was a strong firece and witty woman who held her own throughout everything. The H wasn't ur typical cold man, he had alot of humour and took care of his loved ones. Did I mention he was hot!! There's plenty of sizzling steamy scenes in the story to melt u to a pile of Lava...

This is only a prequel so I'm really gona look. Forward to reading the others in the series....xoxo
