I adored reading this collection of poems! I read a few every night and it was a great way to send myself to sleep with some positivity and creativeness! I’m so sad it’s over! What am I going to do before bed now?! I think there’s another collection I’ll be getting into soon! My fav poem by far was Part II!!! It had a dark twist in it and the second to last poem was a very hopeful message. What will your favorite be?

Five stars.

I am learning how to grow,
a garden around my heart,
and I have already cut the weeds.

Just like her first poetry collection, we are swept away by a sea of pretty words. And what I loved so much about this poetry collection is the different style of formats the author used to write her poetry in. Every piece was different and stood out in its own beauty. I found myself wanting to make little notes and highlight my favorite lines. :') It takes a special book for me to want to annotate again, and that's exactly what this book is: special. I truly favored more pieces in this book than I did the first collection, and if I'm being honest, I feel like this collection of poems is by far the best I've read. It was all so dreamy, and I found myself relating to many of them while admiring others for the enjoyment of their lyrical prose. The author has indeed not only grown as a writer, but as a person. It's inspiring to see her grow and spread her wings. You feel her rising, you sense her peace and freedom. I look forward to reading more poetry collections from this author in the feature. I want to read more positive, inspiring pieces that makes my heart happy. And I hope she's happy and at peace when writing her next collection. ♡
