Broken Alpha

No “I am the alpha you submit to me woman” BS
If your definition of alpha is dominating to a point who only can accept submissive females as their partners and find their antics cute when they stomp their feet and calls themselves strong females but a5 the end of the submit to their man for protection and pampering, this is not your book.
This book has more than one alpha, the h being one of them. The H is dominant enough to be alpha of five boys who’ll all grow up to be alphas, and he’s not threatened by it. He is alpha enough to dominate an alpha bear who’s twice his size. Dominant enough to keep his wolf in check so that they’re always sure of the h’s consent. But when it comes to the h, they are equal. He is not HER alpha. She’s his mate, that means partner. And TBH, at the end he may even have stepped back with his own pack and let the h lead the boys as she was nurture and discipline combined in one. He’s ego isn’t fragile enough to hurt when one of his boys, who is equivalent to a wounded pup, submits more towards the h than him. He’s rather relieved to see his emotional scars healing no matter with whom.
He wasn’t above begging with the h to keep her with him, but not with emotional blackmail. I found this refreshing to see an honourable strong man, who knows how to respect everyone, and understood the meaning of leadership. This was a great example of possibility of co-existence between two alphas and how it’s not always opposite that attracts.

Bray is leader to a pack of dominant males that were getting hard to control. Vixen is an assassin and is set to be terminated after her last mission. She manages to get away and ends up in Bray's territory. Bray knows that Vixen is his fated mate and doesn't know what to do about that. Vixen is attracted to Bray but doesn't want to bring her trouble down on to him. Will he be able to convince her to stay and give him a chance? Can they fight the people after her together?
This is an amazing shifter story that will draw you in from page one. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

What a great shifter romance! 💞💓💞

What a great read. If you read shifter books, you can't go wrong with this book. It has strong leading characters and a fantastic supporting cast. Loved it, didn't want to put the book down.

Loved every second of reading this book! Vixen was a kick-ass heroine you root for the entire time and Bray was a great mixture of sexy and brooding. Shifter lovers will adore this one!

Excellent Book!!!!
I enjoyed reading this book & look forward to reading the rest of this series. I enjoyed our Alpha Bray, someone that goes out of his way to try & help those no one else wants, he even goes searching for them so none get left behind. He finds our girl, Vixen, in need of help & even though he does not know exactly what, who, she is he saves her & takes her in. Our girl, Vixen, somehow knows this job she's on is supposed to be the end of her but not knowing how she knows she trusts this sense & makes a run for it. She knows she's not a good person, has done bad things for her country, but has taken the hand life dealt her & made the best of it. Bray takes her in & is drawn to her strength, something he respects & knows his ragtag pack of misfits needs. Even though she keeps saying she is going to leave Vixen is drawn to Bray & wants to help the guys. When those that tried to end her send others after her she becomes something more then anyone one knew existed. Her desire to protect what she now sees as her pack, her mate, releases the mythical being hidden deep inside her. I would recommend this book to friends & I look forward to seeing what else this author has in store.

Imaginative and Captivating
This story didn’t have many reviews on Kindle Unlimited which made me worry it might be a dud, so I’m VERY glad I gave this author a chance because this is an imaginative, well written take on an adult urban fantasy shifters story that comes across as very believable. Other reviewers will tell you what the story is all about so I would like to express that I appreciated the author’s generous perspective of the lead male, Bray. Bray’s deep, underlying respect for the strong woman, Vixen, who enters his life is refreshing as is his understanding and acceptance of the motley crew of misunderstood, strong, young male shifters that make up his pack. I really liked the varying strengths and imperfections of the characters. The young wolf, Leighton, struck a chord as I have military friends with PTSD nightmares. If you can get past a few misspellings (such as diver instead of driver right at the beginning) this is a book worth reading and an author I will be following.

This was a cool twist on the traditional fated mates shifter romances. Vixen knows she can heal fast and had a voice inside her head but never stops to question it until she meets Bray. Bray is the alpha to the “outcast” shifters who are too dominant for traditional packs. He struggles to keep them in line and knows he needs a mate. When he meets Vixen he is confused why she doesn’t smell human yet can’t shift. Yet he still knows she is his mate and would be good for the boys. They dynamic was really cute together and I loved how powerful and strong Vixen was in her own right. An interesting twist on the traditional shifter romances!

Amazing
Oh I was MAD when I had to put this book down for whatever reason 👿🤣. This was such a kickass book!!! I loved every minute of it so much I stayed up half the night to finish it.

Vixen is bad, but Bray seems to bring out the good in her.
The way they meet is hard on Vixen and Bray keeps at her even though Vixen puts up a fight all the way.
Seems she has finally found her place in the world and they way this book ends really made me sit up and pay more attention then I was, can't wait to find the next one in the series to see what happens next.
This is a new to me author and they have peaked my interest enough to search out more of their work.

Vixen is a killer. She is judge, jury, and executioner. But she doesn't kill just anyone, she kills the bad guys. She has been scheduled to be forcibly retired. She decides not to be retired. Bray is an alpha. He has a pack of young alphas who no longer fit in their old packs. He saves Vixen. Mac is a friend of Bray who is a coyote shifter. Roose is another friend who is a bear shifter. This is their story. I enjoyed the story. It was a unique shifter tale. I would recommend it.

Not worth my time or anyone else's. The plot is far-fetched and the author's explanations make it worse. I really don't understand all the 5-star reviews.

I'll admit I'm not the target audience for this one. The whole "I'm the alpha, all the wimmins need to submit to me" thing doesn't do it for me. But I didn't mark the book down for that because I do realize I wasn't the target audience. I just like PNR, and the book was free, so I thought, what the hell? Overall I'm glad I read it. The author's style is good and the story was a quick, easy read. I do think it needs a new cover, though. (Sorry...I hate to be shallow like that but...yeah...) This is a new author to me but not a new genre and I have to say that they have hit it out of the park with this first book in series

She is no shrinking violet She may be his mate but she is just as alpha as he is in fact she is strong enough to help him to lead the young alphas he is caring for and to help them heal. Will he be able to keep her safe and will they form a family together with their young charges and get a HEA

I received this as an ARC for my honest opinion.
Oh wow! This story read really good. How a shifter can not know what they are is intriguing, but it was nice to set that Vixen decided to stay even if it put Bray and the boys in danger. I really liked the build up to the final claiming part. The shocker was to have such a legend inside her, but still inside of who was friend or foe. Surprising that it had to take them all working together to help bring Vixen back out. I can't wait for the next one.

This book had me from the first page . A strong female assassin and a strong Alpha of an unruly pack....oh yeah there's going be a lot of action in this. I love a good read when both of the main characters are strong individually. The book had a great storyline and the pace was great and didn't lag at all. Loved their chemistry as well.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Bray is alpha looking after 5 misfit alpha pups until Vixen enters and things change. The twists and turns, the chemistry between Bray and Vixen are hot and steamy.

This is a unique read for paranormal romance. It definitively broke the mold id regular packs and mates compared to some paranormal books I have read. Bur I loved the aspects of it.The intrigue behind Vixen not knowing what she is and learning from Bray and the misfits who are a pack of very dominant males to be alphas of their own pack later on.

The first book in the Broken Peak Pack series a story that kept me turning pages, this is a short quick story to read. Vixen and Bray's story has suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, a legend come to life, and romance. I enjoyed reading and will be looking for the next book. It took me several hours to read this steamy shifter romance. An entertaining story for the mature reader looking for a quick fix of alpha male hotness and mating mayhem only found in a paranormal romance. What an interesting shifter story. Bray and Biden are a mature couple 💑 that finally found love 💘. Since both are alphas, the story has a different meaning. With a pack of young dominant wolf shifters, Bray and Vi (as Bray calls Vixen), have their work ahead of them. Glad Bray and Vixen got their HEA.

New author, and I never really understood the "broken" part of the title. As far as quick read shifter stories go, this was a likeable, but guessable storyline. 1 star off for covers, and I don't do that normally, but I think a different one is needed, imho.

How can you not love a bunch of misfits forming a pack? The author did a wonderful job of creating characters that you want to know better. Bray and Vixen are great together.
