This story was freaking cute and so so romantic. I loved how hard Ford worked to get his first date with his soul mate. He was sweet patient, romantic and hot as heck. 😍😍😍

The bell jingles like an angel's herald......then he spots his angel
Ford is the thirteenth book in the Alpha Company Renegades series and is the story of Ford and Tara.
Ford was transferred to Alpha Company Renegades from Alaska a few months ago. As he was getting his routine down it was completely upended a week ago starting with a detour on his drive to the base. He is a man that needs his coffee and with no drive through on the way he instead had to get out of his truck to get his cup. Well that would be Cup of Joe precisely, the little coffee shop that he stumbled upon. When he walked inside he heard the bell jingling overhead the door and then saw the woman that he was destined to be with. Now he just has to get her to agree to go on a date with him. Each morning he stops, each morning he asks and each morning she turns him down with a creative reason.
Tara started the coffee shop Cup of Joe in memory of her grandfather. For the last two years she has worked hard to make it successful, building a steady and loyal customer base. Before her grandfather died, which was before she started the shop, he made her promise that it would always be about the customer because they would always be loyal then. Along the way Tara has also had some failed dates and has sworn off all military men, as they only know double time and don't want anything serious. A week ago a new customer walked through the door and literally took the air out of the room. That first day he introduced himself, gave her a smexy smile, turned on the twinkle in his eye and then asked her out, which she turned him down. Every day since then he has stopped in, ordered his usual, did some flirting and asked her out. Each day her "No" has been more creative until finally her friend and employee Kiera takes her excuse of the day right out from under her feet. It seems Tara is going on a date with Ford that evening after work. Let the games begin as he tries to show her that she belongs with him and he is in it forever, after all she is "the one", and she is looking for all the excuses to say no.
I know I say this with Kali Hart books but this one I really did love. It has such warmth and heart, along with a bit of drama and then a lot of sinful sexy, all wrapped up like the softest blanket to surround you in a great big hug. Ford and Tara are wonderful character but it is also Kiera and Betty, a grandmotherly customer, who really add the laugh out loud moments to the story. This is a delicious story that I recommend to other readers, whether you are already a fan of Kali Hart or just want to dip your toe in her books.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Ford is the thirteenth book in the ‘’alpha company renegades’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Tara is a coffee shop owner that refuses to date military men. Ford is a man in the military that wants a chance with Tara. Will Ford be able to convince Tara to give him a chance despite his profession?
The chemistry between Ford and Tara is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Tara has all but given up on love. She has been burned by others lack of commitment and she is especially not into military men. Ford is new to town and when a detour going into the base turns his around it’s the future that he is staring at in Tara’s eyes that make him see the light. When she is stubbornly coming up with excuse after excuse every day he asks her out he finally wears her down and gets her to go out with him. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and at the end of the day the overall future they both feel is better shown with actions than words. I love this series and this especially romantic alpha military hero is no different.

Kali Hart has fast become a must read author or me and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Hart has a way of drawing you into her books from the 1st page to the last with her fantastic storytelling and world building. Her characters are just so realistic that you can't help cheer their happily ever after. Ford and Tara's book is one of recognizing your soul mate immediately but having to fight to overcome past disappointment and rejections to have them in your life forever. This story has everything that you could want; comedy, drama and of course hot romance (it is a Kali Hart after all). Don't miss this delightful addition to the Alpha Company Renegades series!

This is another fast fun read in the world of Alpha Company Each book in this series only takes about thirty minutes to read so is perfect for when you are short on time

Now he is determined that she will be is but she isn't interested that is until her customers and staff get on the side of Ford and make her give him a chance Could she have found the love of her life You will have to read to see

Ford is taking a detour from his normal work route and finds a new coffee shop. When he enters he sees the girl of his dreams. Tara has given up dating military men- you can’t trust them! Ford is military and he has been asking Tara out every day since he saw her and she has not said yes yet. Ford is not giving up. Tara knows she is starting to waiver and finally with the help of her best friend she says yes. Ford doesn’t want to spook her so he is going to take things slow. He knows this woman is the one - she will be his wife. There are some crash and burn moments but also some smoking hot, sexy love and some lovable characters. It was a really enjoyable read with fun characters.

Tara has been let down too many times in the past by Army men and has sworn off them. Ford is stationed in her town and comes to her coffee shop every day for his morning coffee. Ford sees Tara and knows she is the one for him. After receiving his coffee he asked Tara for a date, she has refused him every day since that first day until today. Tara’s best friend and employee Kiera send her off on a date with Ford. They have a great time and Ford knows Tara is it for him. There are hiccups and misunderstandings but eventually they have their happily ever after.

Tara runs a coffee shop and Ford is a soldier at a nearby camp. He starts coming in to get coffee every morning and asks her out for a date right after each time. Finally she agrees (after having sworn off military types) and they go out for the night. The characters are easy going and confident. Loved the grandma at the coffee shop. The romance skyrockets after just a kiss or two on the first date. The suspense of the broken cell phone, not texting scenario and all the twists that came with it, keep the pages turning. A short read that is worth the ending and the smile on your face.

I have truly and earnestly enjoyed this entire series. You will definitely need a ‘Cup of Joe’ after reading this book, and I don’t mean coffee.
Ford and Tara are totally wonderful together. Their chemistry is the perfect blend of strong and boldness. I’m actually looking forward to seeing the next series featuring Keira.

Well written deep emotional story. Tara has had too many bad experiences with dating military men. Ford is new in town and one look at Tara and he knows she's the one for him. With help from Tara's friend and a customer Ford finally gets a date with Tara. The story is very engaging with some drama, witty banter, humor, passion and plenty of steam. Coffee shop owner Tara has sworn off military with their love-them-and-leave-them attitude until Ford comes into the coffee shop and does not relent until she agrees to go out with him. Ford knows that Tara is the one for him as soon as he sees her and he will do anything to convince her that she can trust him with her heart. I liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were likable. Ford was all-in pretty much immediately upon meeting Tara. Tara has a rule against dating military guys which leaves Ford out of luck. He keeps trying and she takes a chance. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

This was such a cute story! I love the tenaciousness of Ford, and he is just a sweetie! Both he and Tara are such likeable characters that you just want them to reach their HEA! This was an entertaining and enjoyable short story!

A well written, engaging, and emotionally deep book 13 in the Alpha Company Renegades series! The storyline is very entertaining and well thought out with drama, witty banter, humour, passion, and steam.The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts! I love these short, steamy bedtime reads. This time we get Ford and Tara. She owns the coffee shop and refuses to date a military man. Ford is in the military and is quite smitten with Tara. He finally gets her to go out with him and the sparks are flying. Some drama thrown in and you have a wonderful read.

He asks her out everyday, but she's had her heart broken by military boys and resists until her friend and coworker, Kiera says she'll cover Tara's shift. Ford knows she's the one meant for him. Can he convince her? Sweet ending!!

Ford is secure and protective. He knows what he wants and goes after it. Tara is sweet and self conscious and needs to build her self esteem. She is a strong career woman and does well in that part of her life. 3.5 stars

Great book. Ford knew he wanted Tara he asked her out daily she finally said yes. They hit if off great had a few dates. Then he went further and the next day he didn't call or text. She thought the worse. He went to her shop the next day and asked her to marry him and explained what happen .

Ford found a new coffee shop and his forever. Tara has been burned by soldiers just looking for one night stands. Kiera and Betty convince her to give Ford a chance. Ford's so sure that Tara's the one he sets up a romantic night for them. Ford has his phone crushed and failed on his promise to text Tara, she had her doubts but not did he come back from that.

As soon as Ford lays eyes on Tara he knows that she is the one. Tara feels the spark also but is wary. She's been burned before. Ford has his work cut out for him. Cute, steamy, feel good story.

I loved the way Ford fights for Tara. From the first page on he knows what he wants and goes for Tara in a very sweet and special way. The romantic scenes are hot and Tara is a sweet character. I adored these two . A nice epilogue completes a well written romantic insta - love short story.

I loved the entire series, couldn't stop with just 1 read the entire series in 1 day.
I could relate to some of the military jargon, it was like I was back in the military again.
On to a new series, just love her writing style!!!!
