The third novel in New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series shows how family and true love can heal a broken past.
After her mother died in a car accident when she was only five, and her father was determined not to show any emotions toward his only daughter, Timberlynn longs for a normal family. What she hadn’t planned on was finding that family in Hamilton, Montana—thousands of miles away from everything she’s ever known in Atlanta, Georgia. She certainly didn’t plan on falling for Tanner Shaw. A handsome, charming, cowboy who swept her off her feet the moment he looked at her with eyes the color of the Montana sky.
Tanner Shaw was lost and confused…living a life without purpose, traveling between one city to the next. With a longing desire for something he could not quite pinpoint, he heads back to his hometown in Montana to spend Christmas with his family and clear his clouded head. One look at Timberlynn standing in his family’s kitchen, and his entire world is turned upside down. Or was it?
For once in his life, Tanner knew exactly what he wanted and was determined to prove to the only woman he had ever loved that what they shared was worth the risk. But winning Timberlynn Holden’s heart wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought. Can Tanner finally rope in the woman he loves, or will he be unable to help her mend her broken heart?
Good Enough is a stand alone novel in the Meet Me in Montana series.

On her 24th birthday, Timberlynn Holden quits her job, packs up her life in Atlanta, Georgia and goes to stay with her cousin’s inherited family in Hamilton, Montana. Timber isn’t looking to continue being a nurse—a career she was guilted into—and instead wants to open up a horse training & rescue center. During her first day in Hamilton, she runs into Tanner Shaw, her cousin’s brother-in-law who she hasn’t stopped thinking about since Kayley got married a few months prior.
Tanner makes his living roping on the rodeo circuit and he never imagined doing anything else. But when his partner says he needs a break—which really means he wants to quit—Tanner comes back home to reassess where he wants to take his career. He doesn’t expect to see Timber Holden again, even though she’s been on his mind nonstop for months. And now they’ll be staying in his parents’ house together for the holidays, if not longer.
It’s clear from day-one that the two of them have a spark. Timber makes Tanner want to settle down, which isn’t like him and Tanner makes Timber want to give love another try. Hamilton, Montana just might be the place where they both finally fall head over heels in love...
Good Enough by Kelly Elliott is book 3 in the Meet Me in Montana series. I was really excited to read Tanner & Timber’s story after their romance was alluded to in book 2. Although their romance came on strong pretty quickly, I still enjoyed their love story. There is something about Hamilton & the Shaw family that I cannot get enough of. If you’re a fan of small town romances and sexy cowboys, this series is for you! 4/5 stars.
“I want to be by your side for whatever life throws at us.”
“I wanted to give you something I’ve never given to anyone before… my heart.”
**Synopsis:** Timberlynn is discontent following a career path she feels was a forced on her. She has a dream and moves to Montana to start making her own choices. Her cousin is already there (Kaylee from Book 2) so she has a family member that can offer her some support as she starts a new life. Plus, Tanner makes the scenery better in Montana. ~ “Tanner Shaw was one of the reasons I fell for Montana.”
Tanner loves his successful career as a world champion team roper, but he is longing for something more. With two brothers settled down and married and a family ranch calling his name, he’s not so sure traveling the circuit is where he wants to spend his time anymore. Plus, he can’t seem to get Timberlynn off his mind. ~ “Everything seemed to shift when I had gone home for my brother Ty’s wedding. That was the day I had met her. Timberlynn.”
**The following are my thoughts about this book: **
* * Well the prologue certain rips your heart out.
* * by 33% Tanner knew Timber was it for him. Timber, on the other hand, was the one dragging her heels. That’s a bit of a switch to have the girl the one holding out. But her reasons didn’t really support her decision.
* * Three books into this series and I would definitely say it is not a standalone. Yes, each book has a different couple. However, the recurring characters have significant roles in each of the books, and you really need their backstory to fully appreciate the dynamics of the supporting cast.
* * the books are low on originality. Some common themes continue throughout the series: highly successful careers (is it even remotely possible to think all the boys in one family end up as world champions in their sport??), all men basically manwhores, someone is not ready to settle down, back and forth usually leads to someone pushing someone away (many times)
* * the rift with Timberlynn and her dad resolved rather easily after all the hurt. I’ve never understood the concept of pushing your only child away because they remind you of someone you lost and you would crumble if you lost them too. Umm hello….by pushing them away you are losing them. It just isn’t something I’ve ever bought into as a story plot. Didn’t work for me here either.
* * I like the dynamics between the brothers and, of course, Blayze adds the cute factor
* * what I did appreciate about this story is that these two were a couple by 70% and the remaining portion of the book was working through obstacles together.
**Overview:** - Content Warning: death of a parent (in the past, car accident) - Setting: Hamilton, Montana - Do you need to read previous books in series?: Yes. Recurring supporting characters that have a significant role in the story. - POV: Dual POV
- Who is the Hero? Tanner Shaw (age: 25). Professional team roper. A four-time WNFR qualifier and he won the world championship once. * The following words/phrases were used to describe Hero: tired of the road, ready to move on from roping, funny, kind, a gentleman, respectful, a charmer * H likable? Yes.
- Who is the Heroine? Timberlynn Holden (age: 24). Nurse, but only because it was what her mother wanted her to do. She really isn’t happy with the career choice and needs a change. Her dad primarily ignored her while growing up. Has a dream of owning a horse rescue / horse training facility. ~ “After my mother died, my father didn’t know what to do with me because I all but stopped talking. A therapist suggested horses. From the moment I walked into that barn, I felt a peace that I couldn’t explain.” * The following words/phrases were used to describe Heroine: loves horses, always seeking her father’s love, stubborn, struggles with trusting others * h likable? Yes.
- h virgin? No - First time they kiss: 32% - First time they sleep together: 66% - Safe sex? Kind of. Condoms were used the first time but they were overtaken by passion the second time and forgot the condom - First time they say I Love You 67% - steamy? Yes - OW/OM drama? Not really. Although Blaze’s crush (Tanner’s six year old nephew) was cute - H/h cheat? No - Time apart? No - Did I skip pages? No - Big secrets? No - Did I cry? No - Did I laugh? Not really, but Blayze made me smile a few times. Cute kid. - Did I swoon🥰? Tanner had some swoony moments - Cliffhanger? No - HEA? Yes - Epilogue? Yes - Recommend? the books in the series are very similar, but the more I’m reading the more I’m becoming invested in the Shaw family.
**Quotes** “Sometimes the only way to get your control back is to let it go.” I frowned. “
“Sometimes I like to enjoy the quiet and let what’s around me speak.”
“You might not have noticed, but I’ve hung on every word you’ve spoken tonight.”
“What I do know is that your past is keeping you from living your future.”
“Why don’t you grab a few blueberry muffins, slather some butter all over them, sit down, and eat your emotions.”
Kelly Elliott writes a story that gives men who sleep around respect and then shames the female characters that do the same. The blatant disrespect of Tanner’s former “friend with benefits” by not only him but by his mother had me so pissed I couldn’t read the rest of the book. There was nothing that, that character did other than to show that she had feelings for Tanner. The double standard in this book is disgusting.
“Everything inside me screamed that this woman was the missing piece of my soul. That she was the one thing I had been longing for, and that I would gladly walk away from everything and anything simply to share the same air as her.”
“Doll, let me tell you something about the Shaw men. When they fall, they fall hard and they fall fast. And trust me when I say that the one who just walked out of here has fallen so freaking hard for you, that I think he might have gotten the breath knocked out of him. You didn’t mess anything up. He’ll come back around.”
Good Enough is the third book in the Meet Me in Montana Series and follows the story of Timberlynn and Tanner. This story starts off with one heck of a bang. Timberlynn has been living the life that was mapped out for her, but feels like something is missing. An ache has been in her heart ever since she returned from Montana for her cousin’s wedding. As fate would have it, Timberlynn is about to embark on a life-changing journey. Montana might have all of the answers she’s been looking for, including a potential romance…..
Good Enough had me hooked from the very first page. Timberlynn’s story is heartbreaking and is filled with lots of pain and rejection. No matter what she does in her life, she never feels like it’s good enough. She’s trying to live up to the dream that was put before her, but for once, Timberlynn has to do something for herself. Going to Montana might be just what she was looking for; a fresh start and a chance to live her dreams. What she didn’t plan on was Tanner. Tanner was the whole package and completely dangerous to her heart. If you believe the rumors, then you’d believe that Tanner is nothing but a playboy. However, there is more to this cowboy than meets the eyes. Tanner loves his job, but loves his family more. His heart yearns for a life in Montana and meeting Timberlynn knocks his world off its axis. For the first time in his life, Tanner sees his future so clearly and what he wants is Timberlynn….
The road to happily ever after for Tanner and Timberlynn wasn’t an easy one. Timberlynn’s past has shaped her and made her afraid to fall in love. But, if anyone can make Timberlynn take a chance, it’s Tanner. Tanner is a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. He’s patient and has a huge heart. He puts the swoon in swoon-worthy. Together, these two could be a force to reckon with, they just have to be willing to take a chance and put their hearts on the line.
Once again, author Kelly Elliott has given us a romance that just steals your heart. I have fallen head over heels for the Shaw family and just love how devoted each and every one are to one another. Good Enough is filled with romance and steam and a little drama to boot. It’s filled with heartache and taking chances. Tanner and Timberlynn stole my heart and in the end, their story left me with a smile on my face. Good Enough was everything I was hoping it would be and I loved getting swept up in Timberlynn and Tanner’s story!
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
Lawd have mercy, Tanner Shaw is so damn swoon-worthy that he had me falling so in love with his and Timberlynn's story that I didn't want it to end! Timber has had one heartbreak after another and is so guarded she refuses to open her heart. Tanner is tired of the endless women parading themselves around to gain his attention. He's ready for a change and the woman who catches his eye is the one whose afraid to open her heart to love and a future. Tanner Shaw is determined to prove to Timber that he not only wants her heart but her love FOREVER! This is my favorite book in this series and one that captivated my heart as well!
I'm still holding out for Dirk in book four, Strong Enough, but Good Enough is definitely my favourite of the series so far. This series has such a great aspect of family threaded through, but I really felt it the strongest here.
Tanner, a team roping champion, is forced to weigh his options when his partner hints at the idea of retiring. Back home on the ranch, he discovers he'll be in close quarters with Timberlynn, the girl that has continually been in the back of his mind. From a shared living arrangement, to being trapped in a cabin during a snowstorm, there is so much glorious tension that is forced to explode.
In the previous books, it's been the brothers more hesitant to love. With a life living in constant rules and heartbreak, it was Timberlynn that had a difficult time trusting her heart to anyone. It was a nice change to have the heroine more guarded. The pushback from Timberlynn is frustrating, especially when Tanner is completely committed, but it was such a rewarding payoff.
With their mutual love of horses and life on the ranch, these two were a perfect pair. I've loved the setting of Hamilton, Montana from book one, but exploring it with Tanner and Timberlynn brought it to life.
I am not sure how I feel. This book was enjoyable and decent. Also had no problem when I couldn't read, no urge to continue the story. Tanner is a real gentleman with a big heart, he is patient and cares, loves so hard Timberlynn there is no doubt in my heart he is meant to be in a relationship. I loved to read more about the family, my previous couples - they are still so lovely and so in love. .. I didn't love Timberlynn - she was nice but nothing special. Overall I don't regret spending my time with them.
I really dont know how to rate this book cuz i did love some of the parts. I loved the family dynamic and the sibling relationship between Brock, Ty and Tanner, especially when they teased him. Blayze is absolutely adorable and cute, this character was the highlight of the book and it was amazing how realistic this book was. The teasing by Tanner’s family when they found out that he likes Timberly, and how Timberly and Tanner’s relationship progressed. What i didnt like was after 50% because as soon as Timberly and Tanner started dating it was only sex, 10% of the book after they started to date was just sex which made it weird because the beginning of the book was so fun with the family and the teasing and the realistic aspect but then suddenly it became more smut, the vibe just changed and slowly towards the end it got cheesy and boring especially when Timberly’s father arrived. Throughout the book we see that she has daddy issues cuz her dad neglected her after her mom died but then suddenly he is remorseful, it was a bit rushed up in that part. I also didnt like Timberly at the beginning because she was leading Tanner to thinking she likes him which she did but then whenever he wanted to talk to her about relationship she judged him and talked in a really mean way, Tanner is a sweetheart and i think he deserves better. I just liked the family and sibling relationship in this book, some parts were hilarious while the ending got a bit boring. It was like a decent read but smtg was missing idk y cuz whatever problems Timberly and Tanner had in the book were solved in like two seconds- idk smtg just feels missing in their relationship, maybe its the rushed up ending or how it was just sex towards the end while at the beginning their relationship was progressing slowly where Timberly had trust issues and Tanner wanted to prove her that she is worth it and give their relationship a chance. 😬
My heart ached for Timberlynn. All the pain and rejection that she suffered from such a young age. And Tanner - after seeing what he was missing after his brothers were married, he knew that there had to be someone out there for him too. The instant connection between these two was magnetic and palpable.
I really loved how patient Tanner was with Timberlynn. This book had many times that I was swooning, and getting teary-eyed. These Shaw boys, they will knock you off your feet!
Such a great addition to a fantastic series. Makes me want to run away to Montana!

Good Enough was a shining example of why I have fallen in love with Kelly Elliott’s heartfelt writing–and with the Shaw family from her Meet Me in Montana series. This was the perfect type of tender and steamy contemporary romance to sweep me right off my feet.
Wow does Kelly Elliott know how to create a stellar cowboy hero! Tanner was one f-i-n-e FINE guy. And a lot different than you would think if you’ve read any of the other books in the series. Tanner wasn’t quite the womanizer he’d been made out to be. He was definitely a flirt–but in the best of ways. And he knew how to romance Timberlynn and help make her feel better about herself, showing how smart and sexy he thought she was. I also loved Tanner’s relationship with his family... Read More
My obsession with the Montana country lifestyle continues to grow with every book in the series ❤️
This series is small town romance done right 🙌🏼
Tanner and Timberland were people who just gelled from the get go and I loved that.
Tanner was the least stubborn of the three when it came to the love bug and that made him the most likable! Timberland was the one one needed a little nudge in this story. She grew a ton in and opened herself up to love.
This book in 4 words - IF HALLMARK HAD STEAM! 🔥 Al lot of the story revolved around the holidays and it was like Christmas came early 🎄
The Shaw family is at the center of each book and I love it.
Can I also get a ton of 😍😍😍😍 for one of my favorite covers in a long time?!
She hates her job and on a whim decides to visit her cousin in Montana. He has had great success roping horses but lately has an empty feeling that he thinks might be homesickness.
Timberlynn Holden lost her mother at a young age. According her parent's wishes, Timber pursued education to become a nurse. Somewhere along the way, Timber finally admitted to herself she hated being a nurse. Her true passion is rehabilitating horses. When Timber's cousin recently got married in Montana, Timber loved her brief time spent there. Especially with the attention of the handsome Tanner Shaw.
Tanner Shaw didn't follow his older brothers footsteps into bull-riding. Instead he was part of a team that ropes cattle instead of riding them. For many years Tanner was happy with his life on the road. But after his two brothers got married and settled on their family ranch, Tanner has felt an emptiness he can't explain. When Tanner's partner brings up the idea of coming home, Tanner is excited to see his family again. What he wasn't expecting was the beautiful woman that had been in his thoughts lately standing in his parent's home.
Tanner and Timber share a connection that Timber doesn't know what to do with. But once she gets out of her own way she recognizes this guy is perfect for her. Her dreams are coming true in Montana one day at a time. Tanner realizes what his soul was longing for and it ready to jump in with both feet. Now he just needs to convince Timber she is worth it.
Dual POV, friends to lovers, low trigger warning of loss of parent, open door love scenes.
Sometimes it's nice to read a story of two people falling in love without much drama. Timber has these bizarre moments of self sabotage, but Tanner knows her better than she knows herself. This was a fun, easy read of two people finding each other and planning their dreams together. Sweet HEA and Epilogue.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 “If I let my guard down, I was positive this man would sneak in and climb over all the walls I had in place. Walls that protected me from ever being hurt or used again.”
What you’ll find: ✔️Cowboy Romance ✔️Small Town Romance ✔️Slow Burn ✔️All The Feels ✔️Dual POV
These Shaw men will have you wishing for your own cowboy. Holy swoon. Just when I think I have my favourite picked out, the author writes another fantastic, even more loveable hero!
This is a great addition to this series. This book gave me all the feels. There was heartfelt emotion, steamy scenes, fantastic humour and such loveable side characters that were fun to revisit. They truly make the story. Especially Dirk and Mama Shaw’s meddling. And a good part of it was centred around Christmas which I loved.
Timber and Tanner had such a strong connection from the start. They just meshed. Timber was more hesitant. And you felt for her. But for me, it only made Tanner shine that much more brightly. His care and concern was so sweet. He was so patient and understanding. So loving. Their relationship and chemistry was fun to watch blossom. I am so excited for Dirk’s story up next and who will tame that charmer! Definitely check out this series!
This is book 3 in the Meet Me In Montana series. They can be read as stand-alones but do interconnect and in my opinion are best experienced in order.
I was graciously provided with an ARC for my honest review.
**I was given a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
Good Enough is the third installment in the Meet Me in Montana series. It can be read as a standalone but should be read in order as the author intended for the full effect of the series.
Kelly Elliott can write cowboy romance like no one else. The Shaw family has found a place on my favorites list. Tanner Shaw is the youngest of the Shaw brothers. He's a roper by trade and a rancher by heart. After coming home a few months ago for his brothers wedding and seeing Kaylee's cousin Timberlynn. Tanner finds something is missing in his life an emptiness he's never had before. When Tanner's roping partner, Chance, decides he needs a break Tanner is quick to agree and go home to his family and work next to his brothers on the ranch. What he isn't expecting is Timberlynn visiting Kaylee for the holidays.
Timberlynn decided to follow her parents into medicine. Working as a nurse is something they wanted for her but not what she's wanted for herself. Having a difficult relationship with her father has made Timberlynn feel alone. After giving her notice at the hospital Timberlynn has dreams she wants to follow but doing so means moving. Montana had such a draw at the wedding and going back seems like the perfect idea.
Timberlynn and Tanner's story is so sweet and everything that gets you in the feels. I love coming back to this family again and again. I'm sad that there's only one book in the series left but Kelly Elliott won't leave me longing for a new cowboy family for long. Every time I finish a series I think this is my favorite cowboy family then she outdoes herself with a new favorite. Definitely my go to cowboy romance author.
Tanner finds himself back in his hometown as he contemplates what direction he wants his future to take. He is not sure if now is the time to retire from his rodeo career but when he has the chance to reunite with Timberlynn, the woman he met at his brother’s wedding and hasn’t been able to forget, his plans become a whole lot clearer.
As a child Timberlynn endured a tragic loss and she has been searching for love ever since. She has recently realized that trying to live the life others want for you doesn’t lead to happiness, so she has come to stay with her cousin as she prepares to chart her own course.
As she and Tanner spend time together, she is starting to feel like he is home she has always wanted and never had but she also worries that it is too good to be true. Tanner is exactly what she needs in her life as he shows her that love is unconditional, and no one deserves it more than her. This is a heartwarming story about love and family that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
I am really enjoying reading the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott. In Good Enough, we get Tanner and Timberlynn’s story. Let me tell you, it was emotional and heartfelt. We met Timberlynn at the end of the previous book and just knew there was a story there. Timberlynn just broke my heart. All the heartache and rejection she has faced has made her weary of love. When she has the opportunity to start over and maybe find what she has been missing, she takes it. What she never expected was Tanner. Tanner is strong, determined and caring. When she pushed, he pulled. Could he make her see what was right in front of them?
I was completely captivated by Tanner and Timberlynn’s story. It was touching and angsty. A story about love, family and moving forward. I loved it and highly recommend it.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog. Happy reading!
With each book in this series they are just so good I don't want it to end. Tanner and Timberlynn had that spark when they meet at her cousin wedding now months later living in Montana is looking mighty fine. These two have that connection but Timber is guarding her heart after her heart being broken growing up. I love how the chemistry they have keeps them moving in the right direction to them both finding there happiness.
What to say that hasn’t already been said and can I do this book justice.... You know you have picked up a very special book when it draws you in from the first page and the story and the characters stay with you long after the final words have been read, well Good Enough is one of those very special reads. Small town romance has become a go to for me and this series in particular has become a fast favourite that will be read and re-read, it has everything I want and enjoy in an entertaining book. This is Tanner Shaw and Timberlynn Holden’s story and boy do they have a tale to tell..... Tanner is home because he is at a crossroads in his life, his partner on the rodeo circuit wants to retire and if Tanner is honest with himself he too wants other things too, one of those being Timber the girl he met at his brothers wedding, but does Timber have too much baggage, will she ever let a man into her life and will Tanner be able to convince her that she is worthy of love..... Two broken souls come together to mend their broken hearts, to find love and to build a future but in order to do any of this they will need to take a giant leap of faith. This story touched me on so many levels, I smiled, I giggled and I shed a tear as I joined this couple on their beautifully written love story, their journey is not an easy one but this book has the perfect mix of love, angst, passion and hope and once you add in the Shaw family loyalty you get the perfect read. Great addition to one of my favourite series.
5 star reviews Good Enough (Meet Me in Montana #3) by Kelly Elliott
I love stories based in small towns, it makes for a more intimate read so I was excited to return to Hamilton, Montana. Having read the first two books in the series, I was excited to dive in to Good Enough as I couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Elliott had in store for Timberlynn Holden and Tanner Shaw; this is my favourite book in the series so far.
Both Timber and Tanner have baggage, in fact Tanner is at a crossroads so he returns to Hamilton in hopes of getting his head on straight. From the moment he sees Timber he is smitten, he knows who he wants, now all he has to do is convince her to give him a a chance. The chemistry between them is intense and obvious to everyone around them.
Can two broken hearted souls come together to find peace, love and in doing so take a leap of faith and create a future together? I loved how caring and patient Tanner was as he tried to show Timber that together they could conquer the world.
This was a beautifully written story full of love, family, hope, angst, passion and determination to face ones past and in doing so create a beautiful future. The story was well written, with characters that you cannot help but like and whose story I was fully invested in as Ms. Elliott’s descriptive writing brought Montana to life for me.
Tanner and Timberlynn were great together, both strong willed, determined, independent on their own, but together.....they were explosive.
Loved catching up with the Shaw family, excited to seeing the family grow. They each have important roles to play in the series, and i love that we get to spend lots of time with them all in each of the stories.
Timber is a firecracker, knows exactly what she wants, and does not hesitate to go after it. As does Tanner. They were both trying to take it slow, but when the heart knows what it wants, it will not do slow.
Love mumma Shaw, a fantastic heart, but loves getting into mischief, she isn't as patient as the others, but although she runs the household with precision, she is an excellent listener, with plenty of good advice.
I'd say Kelly Elliott definitely knocked it out the park, bringing you a slither of small-town life, the lives, trials and tribulations you get it all, and it makes for great reading. You become invested in the characters and want to know what's going to happen next. Beautifully written I might have needed chocolate and tissues, more than once.
youngest Shaw brother Tanner captured my heart right away.
Book 3 in the MEET ME IN MONTANA series centering on the youngest Shaw brother, Tanner, did not disappoint.
Once again, the description of the Montana countryside, the mountains, the lakes, and the Shaw family ranch absolutely took my breath away.
The two older Shaw brothers, Brock and Ty, teasing baby brother Tanner about his attraction to Timberlynn, is priceless sibling banter.
I do love a “he falls first” troupe and Tanner is simply adorable - you can’t help but want to squeeze him tight! And you may want to shake Timberlynn at times because come on girl! Once we get thru Timber’s roller coaster of emotions with Tanner, they become a couple to definitely root for.
I enjoyed following Timberlynn’s story of wanting to finally do something for herself, not what her parents wanted her to do. She wasn’t happy being a nurse. Horses. She wants to work with horses. So wouldn’t moving from Atlanta to Montana just be perfect ? But “daddy” isn’t happy about that decision. The daddy-daughter drama is heartbreaking until Tanner helps with mending the distance between them. Yea. He’s that guy everyone loves.
Not gonna lie, the Shaw brothers and their family continue to melt my heart. Now there’s only one book left in this series. I’m ready. And I’m not.
I think Tanner is my favourite Shaw brother. I loved him. He was so sweet, kind, loveable, hard working, funny & a total alpha cowboy. Timberlyn took a little more time for me to like. I liked her at the beginning but then I thought she was wish washy & emotional but then she grew on me & you come to understand her better.
Their story had a few ups & downs like every couple but it was also beyond sweet. I love Kelly’s cowboy romances. They make me want to move to Montana or Texas & find a hot loveable cowboy. The way she brought Montana to life made me want to travel there as soon as I’m able.
I love the whole Shaw family so it was awesome to see so much of them in this book. Blayze is absolutely adorable & had me giggling uncontrollably. I hope he gets a book for when he’s older because he’s gonna break some hearts. If you loved Ty & Brock’s books than you don’t want to miss out on Tanners because I think he takes the win! 😉
I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
When Timberlynn was five, she witnessed her mother die before her eyes after a car accident shattered her family. Years later Timberlynn has a strained relationship with her father since that day and after years of trying to prove she is worthy of his love by following her mothers desire for her future. The only problem is Timberlynn is not happy, she makes a decision to leave everything behind and relocate to Hamilton, Montana to start a business of her own.
There is something about Timberlynn that Tanner Shaw can't get off of his mind. Deciding to take a break from the rodeo circuit, he heads home only to find Timberlynn is back in Hamilton. Tanner wants Timberlynn but she is reluctant to go there, can he prove to Timberlynn he is worth taking a chance on or will she continue to hold him at a distance?
This was wonderful, a bit angsty in spots but I think it worked in the books favor. Wonderful characters in the story. I liked Tanner, he was all cowboy with a ton of charm. Great read.
This is book 3 in the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott and it just keeps getting better with each book. A great small-town friends to lovers romance that will leave you wanting more, then you found the right book. Loved Timberlynn and Tanner. The chemistry between them so good. Timberlynn has suffered different forms of loss in her life. She lost her mother to a car accident when she was 6 which caused her father to stop being there for her and add a broken romance in the mix had a lot of loss and trust issues. Tanner has a hard time really putting himself out there but when Timberlynn is around, he feels comfortable enough to be free. Will Tanner be able to help her overcome her past issues and find a future with him and follow her dreams?
Great read that will have you falling in love right along with the characters. Kelly has a great way of creating worlds and characters that are so easy to fall in love with and feel like you are part of their family. Love her work.
Well what can I say... Tanner Shaw is by my, most favourite Shaw brother and very swoon worthy of all, out of the "Meet Me in Montana" series. Tanner Shaw and Timberlynn Holden is a love at first sight and it's full steam ahead for them both. Timberlynn comes from a rough past and Tanner is trying to find the missing piece but when lives collide, there is nothing stopping these two who absolutely adore each other and it's beautiful. Meet Me in Montana makes me wanna visit and move to Hamilton and live on ranch just like the Shaw's estate. The way Kelly described the scenery in Good Enough, was so vivid and beautiful that the passion in the words in itself, was just amazing. My most favourite scenes in the story. Well Done Kelly!!! Ms. Elliott can write a cowboy! Oh my goodness! These Shaw men have stolen my heart and Tanner is no different! They are down right sexy and just omg! He has his work cut out for him with Timberlynn but oh my goodness their story is just so amazing and so worth the read! Not to mention we get some Christmas and New Years thrown in! I love reading about that time of year! And can’t forget little Blayze because that little man steals the show more then once and just gah! I loved this book!
Seriously, what author can make you see things you have never seen with your own eyes just by WORDS? THIS AUTHOR CAN! Elliott did a FANTASTIC job with the development of Tanner and Timberlynn's story. The way she wove the back story in just leaves me with no words.
