Daring Declan is the 4th book of the ABCs of L-O-V-E series by Tilly Kane. This is an older man younger woman / bestfriend's dad short love story.
Ellie has just moved back to her hometown and is staying with her bestfriend until she finds her own place. She has had a crush on her bestfriend's dad for the past decade and after accidentally spying her bestfriend's dad pleasuring himself to her name a month prior, she isn't sure howto navigate living in the same house with him.
Declan is a firefighter chief and after an exhausting shift, he comes home to find Ellie baking in her underwear in his kitchen. Feeling like a dirty man for wanting her, he is shocked when she admits the crush she's always had on him.

This was a quick and steamy story of forbidden romance between Ellie and Declan. Ellie has crushed on her best friend's dad Declan for as long as she can remember and hiding her attraction becomes impossible when she comes to stay with Sierra and Declan after graduation. Declan knows it's wrong to lust after his daughter's best friend but he cannot get her out of his head. Will he be able to resist once she is living under his roof?

Declan is Sierra's dad. Ellie is Sierra's best friend. Ellie has secretly been in love with Declan for at least 10 years. Declan is seeing Ellie in a different way, especially since her college graduation. They get together a couple of times with Declan pushing her away from him both times. Ellie decided that she had enough of that and leaves. This is a short read.

This was such a cute story. I can’t even imagine how awkward it would be to have my father hooking up with my best friend but since it’s not my dad, the story is very hot and sexy! Ellie and Declan have quite the chemistry and is this read ever steamy! This was an entertaining story!
