Loved this book! I used it as a the intended ‘manual’ where I took my time learning the sequences and going back to the same routines and therefore I felt rather sad when it came to an end!

I love how much effort was put into the book, from the book cover itself being such a beautiful and unique design and the ballet style of the art work and short articles highlighting the importance of well-being and not just perfecting yoga poses, to the easy to follow yoga sequences. I would have give 5 stars only for the fact that I would have preferred to see the instructions of the poses before the sequences instead of having them detailed later on in the book after the yoga sequence - but as I have done yoga for a while I knew most of the poses which I think really helped. I definitely wouldn’t be shelving this book to collect dust and I’d be using it as my go to yoga manual 🧘‍♀️ worth a read for any beginner or intermediate yogy

A very pleasant book. Pleasant in looks, feel and text. The book has inspired me to listen more to my body and making myself comfortable during (mainly now) the breathing excercises, and, thus not to focus on to pushing myself to the max. It has changed the way I look at other aspects in my life and how to deal with those.

It is written in an understandable and empathetic way and not too 'spiritual'. Secondly it does not claim to be 'The quick solution to all your problems', it does not recommend to do the movements on your own without an instructor, BUT says, the best instructor you can have in life is yourself.

This book covers a bit of everything: passages on yoga, quick 2-min checking, detailed asana dictionary, and a few sequences. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to expand in their home practice.

The aim of meditation is to take you out of the judging part of your brain and into the witnessing part".

Lovely book made my way through it whenever I was relaxing or sitting to do some yoga at home. Very enjoyable using the sequences from a book rather than a YouTube video or written down. Brilliant catalog of photographs of asanas and adapted poses. Great book will keep on my coffee table. ❤️❤️

Practical yoga application. I wanted to learn more about the poses and flows and the meanings behind them, but this book did not go into great detail about that. I will further explore this. I appreciated the focus on not having to achieve something in particular.

Beautifully set out and photographed, this was the perfect primer for my own journey into a more independent yoga practice. I was determined not to review this until I had practiced all of the suggested sequences, which are all very gentle and great for focus.

This book is beautifully laid out so was a dream to read. As a yoga teacher I found the tips and sequences very practical and inspiring to my own practice. I also really enjoyed reading the personal essays about yoga and its place in modern life. I feel like this is a really good foundational book for anyone looking for more help with their home practice and teachers alike!
