william was a colonialist, fascist piece of shiiiiitttt
who, according to a monk, specifically attacked exeter because an englishman climbed up onto the castle walls, dropped trou', and trumped at the normans 😂😂
the lengths that the monarchy and the evangelical were (are?) wrapped up in militarism, is horrible
'scold's bridle' - metal which pinned the 'scolder's' tongue down and stopped them talking - was just one of the ways that women were silenced and degraded
"you who seek equality with lords are not worthy to live" - king richard ii, encapsulating the oppressive classes and exemplifying why a revolution was needed🔪💣
