I stumbled across this book in the library so I needed to read it! The story follows Sam Hain, a young witch, that has lost her family. One day she ventured into the attic, in which she has feared her whole life. No spoilers but I will say that I will be watching out for the next book in the series. Left on a cliff hanger!
