What I don't understand is why the author didn't just merge this book with the previous one. I thought this story would pick up after Chloe's kidnapping but this was Logan and Lenna's life being played out in the background of Noah and Chloe's story. I can't recall any event original to their story.
We were even reliving some of the same conversations we had in Off Limits and to be honest, the only thing that saved the storyline is that what we thought was happening between the two was not the case. And maybe Logan isn't so much the bad guy.
As for Lenna's pregnancy news, the timing was off because I can't imagine that we would not have been privy to her announcement from Chloe or Anderson and that it would not come up while reading Off Limits (excluding Stella's theory). Especially if it's before her kidnapping. So now timeline becomes an issue.
Also, there is no real movement between these characters. It's just that annoying storyline that romance authors like to fall back on. The yoyo of if we should or shouldn't.
The sex wasn't hot and I really just hate how much their sex scenes, down to the role play, mimicked Noah and Chloe.
In other words, I wanted to feel like this story was theirs. Like I was getting a new book and exploring a new relationship. I didn't want the wash, rinse and repeat cycle from book one.
I am truly disappointed that the author chose to re-live book one and throw in an unplanned pregnancy. I would have probably felt better if it was just incorporated into Off Limits.

lord, go ahead and send the flood…this book was definitely something…i already knew i lowkey wanted to skip this one because i was so excited for the 3rd book but of course i didn’t want to miss anything. kinda wishing i did tbh..
i couldn’t STAND our MMC, like yes, i understand he had some past traumas, he’s broken and jaded but lord have mercy. he was pure self destruction. so much self sabotage. was he self aware? yes but good lord
this relationship was just so toxic (and not the good kind) it was just a constant cycle of being together, saying fucked up things and pushing themselves away from each other, just to cover it up the next day with flowers, food, sweet words, and sex🧍🏾♀️just giving me whiplash
our FMC is good as hell because this man was putting her through HELL. i mean, they were putting each other through hell, but the MMC was just going crazy with it. i wanted her to stand up and leave SO BAD
i quite literally could not root for them one bit. my blood pressure was going through the roof. i was too stressed out to even enjoy anything, because even when we were having small sweet and happy moments, my mind couldn’t steer away from the cluster fuck that i read just pages before
then we were getting real close to the end (96%) and i was just like “there seems to be no resolution, they’re still fighting…?” and that ladies and gents is because we got a rushed ending🤡. like what do you mean three years later??? be so serious
as much as i loved seeing the first book in other characters POV, i couldn’t stand them being together in this book

If you want a book filled with unnecessary drama that could have been solved in one conversation this is your book.
You will never get bored, every chapter has a new dilemma for the MCs to solve.
It is very entertaining and the development of both the story and characters is greatly done.

Look sometimes a girl gotta take a break from feminism and reads a billionaire romance but.....not like this one.
I simply refuse that publishers just look at these kind of books and be like yup this is exactly what we want to represent.

[1.25 star] arrgh..... i really wanted to like the book but i really can't bring myself to.
it's a typical cliché plot where the hero is an asshole who is attracted to his personal assistant aka heroine but can't bring himself to admit it. then there is the doormat as shit heroine who had a crush on her boss aka hero ever since she join his company and feels or wants to change the hero which is totally delusional in the first place.
the to and fro, back and forth between the hero and heroine is really giving me a whiplash. doormat heroine always seem to forgive the hero when he turns into an asshole, pff.... *i would have totally kick him in the nuts, please*
seriously, where is the emotional connection? i don't get it, feel it or even sense a wee bit. everything just feels bloody superficial that any crap shit author could have written it. wasted about 2hours of my time to finish when i can use it to read other books that has more depth.

Enough is enough
Logan is such an unlikable character; Lenna is such a, well, tool, I just couldn’t like either of them enough to care about their story.
Hot, hot sex. Then cold, cold dismissal. Then more hot, hot sex. Then even colder dismissal. And on and on it went. Over and over, and over again. Till my nerves were frazzled. How could one man be so disagreeable? Why would any half-witted woman put up with him, for even a minute?
Finally, at the 61% point, more than half-way through this nerve wracking round and round, I gave up, and called it done.
I no longer care if they have a hea, drop dead, or turn green.
This is not what I had in mind when I sought a light, enjoyable afternoon romance. This thing was made to cause a stroke inducing headache.
Read it at your own peril, is my advice.

writing is still choppy
This author truly should have rethought the ages of these characters, because they are really made for their twenties with their level of maturity as opposed to thirties.
What Lenna did after Chloe’s bday party proves the immaturity and surprised me that no one second-guessed the father. Don’t know why anyone would’ve been mad at Logan for asking either.
I will say this. I still like all the characters and storylines.

I don’t have words for him. Like man you say you don’t want a family and kids then you are angry bc she doesn’t tell you. You act like an ass the whole time and she is the one that is apologizing. She forgives all the time and you just badmouth her and blame it on the ego. Hahaha yeah. I hate him. He is dick to everyone. He is manipulating her. He is hypocrite. He gives shit to his brother and he is the one who is having on night stands. And the way he treats her all the time and in the resort. I know that love is blind. But girl you can do better

WOW!! Wonderful! I absolutely love this one!! I couldn’t put it down. “The second Playboy twin of New York has Fallen!”
Lenna Lund works for Logan Stone for five years, but she’s dating Justin, it’s their anniversary. Lenna is meeting Justin to celebrate, until he tells her he has a meeting with a client and he’ll be late. When Justin finally arrives, Jenna is mad, because he was over thirty minutes late and doesn’t answer her calls or messages. When Justin arrives Lenna is mad and lets him know, he excuses himself to the restroom and tells her she needs calm down. Justin leaves his phone on the table and gets a text, Jenna doesn’t snoop on his phone but somethings not right. When Lenna looks at the message it’s from another woman thanking him for the great time, they’ll catch up next month. Upon further snooping what Lenna finds is months and month of Justin cheating on her. When she confronts him he denies everything, so he asks him to leave. Justin refuses to leave so the waitress has to throw him out. The waitress, Stella, insist Lenna stay and help her finish a bottle of tequila.The next day Lenna is heartbroken, she’s spent the last two years with Justin she thought they were going to move in together. Lenna sends a message to Noah telling him she won’t be in today. Hours later Logan shows up at Lenna apartment, he found out about her break-up from Noah and EJ, owner of the restaurant. Logan brings Lenna a large bouquet of flowers and her favorite Italian. Logan sits with Lenna and watches television with her, and they end up falling asleep. Logan wakes because he has a nightmare of the night his father took his life, he keeps having the nightmare. Lenna keeps having sexy dream about Logan also. When Lenna returns to work Noah ask her for a favor, he wants her to escort Logan to the fundraiser. Lenna doesn’t want to go because it’s Logan who she secretly has a crush on, but she gives in. Noah tells Logan he’s going to the fundraiser with Lenna he puts up a fuss at first but then agrees. Lenna introduces Noah and Logan to Chloe Jones, who’s applied for the Director of Social and Content Marketing job. Logan and Lenna get ready for the fundraiser, when they get in the limousine she tells Logan he can just drop her off around the corner, but Logan refuses. At the fundraiser Lenna uses the restroom, it’s been awhile so Logan is worried. Logan starts looking for Lenna, but can’t find her. When Lenna came out of the restroom, she ran into Justin, trying to get away she ran outside and he followed her. Lenna refuses to talk to Justin, so he grabs her arm and pulls her into a private garden. Jenna can see Justin is mad so she tells him she’ll listen to him. Justin tells Lenna she embarrassed him by getting him kick out of the restaurant and he’s blacklisted there. Justin tells Lenna ‘they’ didn’t mean anything to him, so he had more that one affair. Justin grabs Lenna when she tries to walk away, she is done with the conversation. But Justin grabs her and pulls her back to him, he tells her he misses her and wants to know if she misses him. Before Lenna can answer she hears Logan calling her. Logan pretends they are dating and has been looking for her. Logan kisses Lenna and Justine call both of them a few names. Logan check Lenna out to see if Justin hurt her, she tell him she’s fine. Lenna tells Logan she’s going to go home and grabs a cab. The next day Logan needs to tells someone so he confides in Anderson what happened. Anderson tells him not to tell anyone because Lenna’s an employee and that’s breaking some of there rules. Lenna’s on her way to Vegas with Chloe and Emma, she’s never been to Vegas. Vegas is Emma’s town she’s loves showing it off. Lenna and Emma ride up and down the strip yelling at guys they’re drinking slushy cocktails. Lenna confides in Emma about her crush on Logan and the kiss. Noah, Logan and Anderson arrive in Vegas, they head to EJ‘s opening he introduces them to his sister Chloe who now works for them. Lenna shows up and Logan is shocked at how she’s dressed and she’s tipsy. Chloe offers to get Lenna some water but Logan takes her instead. Logan and Lenna get into an argument and she leaves. Logan chases after Lenna, But she disappears into the crowd. Logan finds her and walks her to her room when she steps off the elevator she trips and falls Logan picks her up and carries her to her room. They share a kiss then things turn physical, Lenna makes Logan promise this lasts only one night. In the morning Logan tells Lenna he can’t get enough of her after there shower, then Logan says somethings to make Lenna regret the night she spent with him. Back at work Lenna asks If she can have a couple of days to head to the Hamptons to give Ewan paperwork he needs, Logan accuses her of sleeping with him. When Logan realizes he mess up he takes off to the Hamptons after Lenna, she sits on the beach drinking wine when a Stranger stops to talk to her. Lenna finds out after he calls Logan he’s there a competitor Rhys Davenport he takes her back to his house they sit by the fire and talk. Rhys’s asked Lenna to spend the night and she says no, so he walks her back to her hotel he tries to kiss her but she pulls away. After Rhys’s leaves Logan comes out and shows himself. Lenna goes to her room but Logan follows her he tells her to take her clothes off but she refuses and tells him NO, to leave. Logan comes the next day with a bouquet of flowers, coffee and croissants to apologize. After a little talking Logan and Lenna get physical again he confesses he can’t get enough of her but Lenna told him they need to stop. Lenna tells Logan she wants forever with someone, the white picket fence, the two-point five kids, and a dog. Logan says he can’t give that to her, they both confess to each other they’ve had a crush on each other since they met five years ago. Logan asks Lenna if they can continue with just sex secretly but Lenna can’t do it she knows her feelings will get hurt. The next day they spend the morning seeing where improvements need to be made, at night they walk hand-in-hand on the beach watching the sunset something changed with them on the beach. When they get back to the resort Logan tells Lenna to go have a bath while he gets dinner, when he gets back he joins her. Lenna tells Logan she needs a bath like this in her apartment he tells her he has one and she can use it anytime. Lenna tells Logan they can’t keep seeing each other even just for sex it needs to stop. They both drive back to the city separately, at work Lenna acts like nothing happened between them while Logan stares at her. Noah catches Logan and questions him telling him to let it happen. EJ stops by the office because he had lunch with Chloe and asks Logan to be his wing man because Anderson is MIA, at first Logan doesn’t want to but then gives in because Lenna doesn’t want anymore. Later that night he joins EJ at his restaurant Logan gets a little tipsy and takes the woman back to his penthouse as they’re making out they step off the elevator when they hear a crash. Lenna stop by to use the bath and she’s standing right in front of him. Lenna runs to the elevator while Logan stands in shock looking at her he see the tears running down her face he tells the woman to leave its not happening and tries to call Lenna but it just rings. Lenna tries to get her mind off of Logan at Chloe’s birthday party. Lenna finds out Chloe and Noah kisses before she started at The Stone Group. Logan stands back and watches as Lenna and near-naked guy flirt with each other. When Lenna tries to take a few moment to herself Logan follows her, he apologies for what happened and tells her nothing happened. Logan tells Lenna he wants her she’s on his mind all the time. Lenna slams into Logans lips and kisses him, they start to get physical in the alley, but Logan starts thinking about his father, so he stops. After girls night, which Lenna finds out Emma and Anderson were married in Vegas, she finds herself sick and sleeps most of the day. Luna wakes with the buzz of her intercom, she presses the buzzer to let Logan in. Logan brings Lenna saltines and seltzer and he tells her he wants to date her, on the down-low. Logan tells Lenna he doesn’t know what he can promise her but wants to be the man she deserves. Lenna tells Logan she’s wants to try but she wants him to see a therapist to deal with his issues he has about his father. Logan tells Lenna he’ll see someone but then ask if he has to wait until then. Logan calls Lenna into his office, after everyone leaves, thing get physical. Logan meets with a therapist, Dr. Aspen, who wants to see him again, so he thinks there’s something wrong with him. Logan calls Lenna telling her he needs some time alone. Lenna goes out with Ariana to their favorite Italian place. Lenna talks to Ariana, about Logan, she the only one she can confide in who won’t gossip. When Lenna gets nauseous over the smell of garlic, she been sick on and off for weeks, increase in appetite, and tiredness Ariana suggest she’s pregnant. Lenna stops at the drugstore and gets a test, Ariana has to look at the results for her. Lenna finds out she’s pregnant but doesn’t want to tell Logan. The next day Lenna is late for work, Logan notices she looks tired. Logan calls her into his office to explain last night. Logan tells her he sees a future with Lenna and she questions him. Lenna tells Logan they have a hotel to open and not to worry about their relationship until after. Lenna goes to the doctor and finds out she’s ten weeks along, Ariana tags along for support. Logan calls her to tell her about the grand opening. Lenna tells him she has a lot on her mind, then tells him they’re not going to work and breaks up with him. Logan screams in his hotel room, Noah comes to find him, he opens up telling his brother he started seeing a therapist. Logan tells Noah he blames himself for their father death. Lenna watches Logan walk around flirting, she decides to tell Emma she needs a change, Emma tells her to come work for her. Lenna kisses Johnny from Sons of Brooklyn, but Logan seen it. Lenna decides to leave early, and gets a few phone calls from Emma. They’re all meeting at the hotel Chloe’s ex made some threats. Logan get the same phone call from Anderson. After the girls starts questioning Lenna she can’t take it anymore. Lenna give Noah and Logan her two week notice, she can’t be around Logan anymore. Lenna leave and Emma lashes out at Logan. Logan says somethings to Emma that make Anderson jump him, they both leave. Logan needs to apologies and change Lenna’s mind. After Logan apologies Emma tells him she’ll find out what’s going on with Lenna. On Lenna’s last day they have cake, she goes to give Noah and Logan a gift and overhears them arguing about her. Lenna runs away but Logan follows her she tells him they were a mistake. Logan tells Lenna they were good. Lenna tells him she can’t risk her heart. Lenna is welcomed to Emma’s company, but doesn’t drink. Logan has more appointments with Dr. Aspen, who is really helping him out. Noah and Anderson notice a difference in Logan. Lenna tells Emma sh’e pregnant, she tells her she needs to tell Logan. Emma invites Logan for dinner with her and Anderson, he thinks it’s weird, she never done it before. Logan goes to Anderson’s penthouse he see someone else there, it’s Lenna. Lenna tells Logan she pregnant he thinks it’s someone’s else’s, until she tells him it’s his. After she tells him she four months along he flips out because she’s kept this from him and leave. Logan goes to Noah and Chloe’s townhouse and tells them, they are shocked Lenna has kept this from everyone. Logan goes to see Dr. Aspen and tells him, he gets him to see the other side of things. Chloe’s calls an urgent girls meeting at Emma’s place, Jenna know it’s about her being pregnant, the only one who doesn’t know is Stella. Logan and Lenna meet at the doctors office, he get to see the sonogram. It’s to early to know what the sex of the baby is, but they both want to know. Logan invites Lennna to his place they have a lot to talk about. Logan wants Lenna to move in with him and start over as friends. Emma, Stella, Chloe and Ariana help Lenna move into Logan’s apartment, they make bets when the two of them will boning. A couple weeks later Logan and Lenna still happy living together, they meet for a doctors appointment. They find out they’re having a boy, Logan gets so excited he kisses Lenna. Later Lenna feels her baby kick so she lets Logan feel too. The next thing they know they are kissing, Lenna tells Logan being pregnant her hormones are out of control. Lenna tells Logan she couldn’t tell him, he tells her anything she needs he can provide. A few days later Noah, Anderson, EJ and Logan are on their way to Australia the trip was planned months ago, they are looking for a new place for their hotel. The next thing everyone know Chloe disappears because of her crazy ex- best friend. Logan helped Noah through it all, but then realized life can be taken away. Logan takes Lenna to her baby shower which is in Greenwich, Connecticut. Pulling up Lenna is very impressed with the house she walks into all decorated with blue balloons. Afterwords Logan has one more present for Lenna to open, he hands her a large box. Lenna finds a key inside and she’s confused, Logan tells her the house is theirs, he bought it to raise their kids. Chloe and Noah bought the house next door. Logan tells her there’s one more present to open, Lenna looks up and he’s down on one knee, he tells her she’s the one he see himself with in five years with pitter patter of tiny feet running around. Logan ask Lenna if she’ll allow him to love her forever and ever then asks her to marry him, she says yes. Three Years Later: Chloe gives birth to their first babies, twin boys Remy and Theo. Last year Lenna had twin girls, Millie and Ella, of course they also have Jagger their first son. Logan has been right beside Lenna being the best father and husband she could have ever dreamed of.

Upon further snooping what Lenna finds is months and month of Justin cheating on her. When she confronts him he denies everything, so he asks him to leave. Justin refuses to leave so the waitress has to throw him out. The waitress, Stella, insist Lenna stay and help her finish a bottle of tequila.The next day Lenna is heartbroken, she’s spent the last two years with Justin she thought they were going to move in together. Lenna sends a message to Noah telling him she won’t be in today. Hours later Logan shows up at Lenna apartment, he found out about her break-up from Noah and EJ, owner of the restaurant. Logan brings Lenna a large bouquet of flowers and her favorite Italian. Logan sits with Lenna and watches television with her, and they end up falling asleep. Logan wakes because he has a nightmare of the night his father took his life, he keeps having the nightmare. Lenna keeps having sexy dream about Logan also. When Lenna returns to work Noah ask her for a favor, he wants her to escort Logan to the fundraiser. Lenna doesn’t want to go because it’s Logan who she secretly has a crush on, but she gives in. Noah tells Logan he’s going to the fundraiser with Lenna he puts up a fuss at first but then agrees. Lenna introduces Noah and Logan to Chloe Jones, who’s applied for the Director of Social and Content Marketing job. Logan and Lenna get ready for the fundraiser, when they get in the limousine she tells Logan he can just drop her off around the corner, but Logan refuses. At the fundraiser Lenna uses the restroom, it’s been awhile so Logan is worried. Logan starts looking for Lenna, but can’t find her. When Lenna came out of the restroom, she ran into Justin, trying to get away she ran outside and he followed her. Lenna refuses to talk to Justin, so he grabs her arm and pulls her into a private garden. Jenna can see Justin is mad so she tells him she’ll listen to him. Justin tells Lenna she embarrassed him by getting him kick out of the restaurant and he’s blacklisted there. Justin tells Lenna ‘they’ didn’t mean anything to him, so he had more that one affair. Justin grabs Lenna when she tries to walk away, she is done with the conversation. But Justin grabs her and pulls her back to him, he tells her he misses her and wants to know if she misses him. Before Lenna can answer she hears Logan calling her. Logan pretends they are dating and has been looking for her. Logan kisses Lenna and Justine call both of them a few names. Logan check Lenna out to see if Justin hurt her, she tell him she’s fine. Lenna tells Logan she’s going to go home and grabs a cab. The next day Logan needs to tells someone so he confides in Anderson what happened. Anderson tells him not to tell anyone because Lenna’s an employee and that’s breaking some of there rules. Lenna’s on her way to Vegas with Chloe and Emma, she’s never been to Vegas. Vegas is Emma’s town she’s loves showing it off. Lenna and Emma ride up and down the strip yelling at guys they’re drinking slushy cocktails. Lenna confides in Emma about her crush on Logan and the kiss. Noah, Logan and Anderson arrive in Vegas, they head to EJ‘s opening he introduces them to his sister Chloe who now works for them. Lenna shows up and Logan is shocked at how she’s dressed and she’s tipsy. Chloe offers to get Lenna some water but Logan takes her instead. Logan and Lenna get into an argument and she leaves. Logan chases after Lenna, But she disappears into the crowd. Logan finds her and walks her to her room when she steps off the elevator she trips and falls Logan picks her up and carries her to her room. They share a kiss then things turn physical, Lenna makes Logan promise this lasts only one night. In the morning Logan tells Lenna he can’t get enough of her after there shower, then Logan says somethings to make Lenna regret the night she spent with him. Back at work Lenna asks If she can have a couple of days to head to the Hamptons to give Ewan paperwork he needs, Logan accuses her of sleeping with him. When Logan realizes he mess up he takes off to the Hamptons after Lenna, she sits on the beach drinking wine when a Stranger stops to talk to her. Lenna finds out after he calls Logan he’s there a competitor Rhys Davenport he takes her back to his house they sit by the fire and talk. Rhys’s asked Lenna to spend the night and she says no, so he walks her back to her hotel he tries to kiss her but she pulls away. After Rhys’s leaves Logan comes out and shows himself. Lenna goes to her room but Logan follows her he tells her to take her clothes off but she refuses and tells him NO, to leave. Logan comes the next day with a bouquet of flowers, coffee and croissants to apologize. After a little talking Logan and Lenna get physical again he confesses he can’t get enough of her but Lenna told him they need to stop. Lenna tells Logan she wants forever with someone, the white picket fence, the two-point five kids, and a dog. Logan says he can’t give that to her, they both confess to each other they’ve had a crush on each other since they met five years ago. Logan asks Lenna if they can continue with just sex secretly but Lenna can’t do it she knows her feelings will get hurt. The next day they spend the morning seeing where improvements need to be made, at night they walk hand-in-hand on the beach watching the sunset something changed with them on the beach. When they get back to the resort Logan tells Lenna to go have a bath while he gets dinner, when he gets back he joins her. Lenna tells Logan she needs a bath like this in her apartment he tells her he has one and she can use it anytime. Lenna tells Logan they can’t keep seeing each other even just for sex it needs to stop. They both drive back to the city separately, at work Lenna acts like nothing happened between them while Logan stares at her. Noah catches Logan and questions him telling him to let it happen. EJ stops by the office because he had lunch with Chloe and asks Logan to be his wing man because Anderson is MIA, at first Logan doesn’t want to but then gives in because Lenna doesn’t want anymore. Later that night he joins EJ at his restaurant Logan gets a little tipsy and takes the woman back to his penthouse as they’re making out they step off the elevator when they hear a crash. Lenna stop by to use the bath and she’s standing right in front of him. Lenna runs to the elevator while Logan stands in shock looking at her he see the tears running down her face he tells the woman to leave its not happening and tries to call Lenna but it just rings. Lenna tries to get her mind off of Logan at Chloe’s birthday party. Lenna finds out Chloe and Noah kisses before she started at The Stone Group. Logan stands back and watches as Lenna and near-naked guy flirt with each other. When Lenna tries to take a few moment to herself Logan follows her, he apologies for what happened and tells her nothing happened. Logan tells Lenna he wants her she’s on his mind all the time. Lenna slams into Logans lips and kisses him, they start to get physical in the alley, but Logan starts thinking about his father, so he stops. Afterwards Logan leaves the party frustrated, later he finds himself sitting in his car outside Lenna’s apartment. A cab pulls up and Lenna and another man step out and go into her apartment, Logan falls asleep. Monday morning Logan finds out Noah and Chloe want to make their relationship know, so they sign the paperwork. Logan also makes it known he seen sitting in his car, Lenna agrees with Logan that they’re not together. Chloe takes Lenna to Central Park to talk to her about Logan, she tells Chloe there’s nothing going on, and she wants to look for another job. After girls night, which Lenna finds out Emma and Anderson were married in Vegas, she finds herself sick and sleeps most of the day. Luna wakes with the buzz of her intercom, she presses the buzzer to let Logan in. Logan brings Lenna saltines and seltzer and he tells her he wants to date her, on the down-low. Logan tells Lenna he doesn’t know what he can promise her but wants to be the man she deserves. Lenna tells Logan she’s wants to try but she wants him to see a therapist to deal with his issues he has about his father. Logan tells Lenna he’ll see someone but then ask if he has to wait until then. Logan calls Lenna into his office, after everyone leaves, thing get physical. Logan meets with a therapist, Dr. Aspen, who wants to see him again, so he thinks there’s something wrong with him. Logan calls Lenna telling her he needs some time alone. Lenna goes out with Ariana to their favorite Italian place. Lenna talks to Ariana, about Logan, she the only one she can confide in who won’t gossip. When Lenna gets nauseous over the smell of garlic, she been sick on and off for weeks, increase in appetite, and tiredness Ariana suggest she’s pregnant. Lenna stops at the drugstore and gets a test, Ariana has to look at the results for her. Lenna finds out she’s pregnant but doesn’t want to tell Logan. The next day Lenna is late for work, Logan notices she looks tired. Logan calls her into his office to explain last night. Logan tells her he sees a future with Lenna and she questions him. Lenna tells Logan they have a hotel to open and not to worry about their relationship until after. Lenna goes to the doctor and finds out she’s ten weeks along, Ariana tags along for support. Logan calls her to tell her about the grand opening. Lenna tells him she has a lot on her mind, then tells him they’re not going to work and breaks up with him. Logan screams in his hotel room, Noah comes to find him, he opens up telling his brother he started seeing a therapist. Logan tells Noah he blames himself for their father death. Lenna kisses Johnny from Sons of Brooklyn, but Logan seen it. Lenna decides to leave early, and gets a few phone calls from Emma. They’re all meeting at the hotel Chloe’s ex made some threats. Logan get the same phone call from Anderson. After the girls starts questioning Lenna she can’t take it anymore. Lenna give Noah and Logan her two week notice, she can’t be around Logan anymore. Lenna leave and Emma lashes out at Logan. Logan says somethings to Emma that make Anderson jump him, they both leave. Logan needs to apologies and change Lenna’s mind. After Logan apologies Emma tells him she’ll find out what’s going on with Lenna. On Lenna’s last day they have cake, she goes to give Noah and Logan a gift and overhears them arguing about her. Lenna runs away but Logan follows her she tells him they were a mistake. Logan tells Lenna they were good. Lenna tells him she can’t risk her heart. Lenna is welcomed to Emma’s company, but doesn’t drink. Logan has more appointments with Dr. Aspen, who is really helping him out. Noah and Anderson notice a difference in Logan. Lenna tells Emma sh’e pregnant, she tells her she needs to tell Logan. Emma invites Logan for dinner with her and Anderson, he thinks it’s weird, she never done it before. Logan goes to Anderson’s penthouse he see someone else there, it’s Lenna. Lenna tells Logan she pregnant he thinks it’s someone’s else’s, until she tells him it’s his. After she tells him she four months along he flips out because she’s kept this from him and leave. Logan goes to Noah and Chloe’s townhouse and tells them, they are shocked Lenna has kept this from everyone. Logan goes to see Dr. Aspen and tells him, he gets him to see the other side of things. Chloe’s calls an urgent girls meeting at Emma’s place, Jenna know it’s about her being pregnant, the only one who doesn’t know is Stella. Logan and Lenna meet at the doctors office, he get to see the sonogram. It’s to early to know what the sex of the baby is, but they both want to know. Logan invites Lennna to his place they have a lot to talk about. Logan wants Lenna to move in with him and start over as friends. Emma, Stella, Chloe and Ariana help Lenna move into Logan’s apartment, they make bets when the two of them will boning. A couple weeks later Logan and Lenna still happy living together, they meet for a doctors appointment. They find out they’re having a boy, Logan gets so excited he kisses Lenna. Later Lenna feels her baby kick so she lets Logan feel too. The next thing they know they are kissing, Lenna tells Logan being pregnant her hormones are out of control. Lenna tells Logan she couldn’t tell him, he tells her anything she needs he can provide. A few days later Noah, Anderson, EJ and Logan are on their way to Australia the trip was planned months ago, they are looking for a new place for their hotel. The next thing everyone know Chloe disappears because of her crazy ex- best friend. Logan helped Noah through it all, but then realized life can be taken away. Logan takes Lenna to her baby shower which is in Greenwich, Connecticut. Pulling up Lenna is very impressed with the house she walks into all decorated with blue balloons. Afterwords Logan has one more present for Lenna to open, he hands her a large box. Lenna finds a key inside and she’s confused, Logan tells her the house is theirs, he bought it to raise their kids. Chloe and Noah bought the house next door. Logan tells her there’s one more present to open, Lenna looks up and he’s down on one knee, he tells her she’s the one he see himself with in five years with pitter patter of tiny feet running around. Logan ask Lenna if she’ll allow him to love her forever and ever then asks her to marry him, she says yes. Three Years Later: Chloe gives birth to their first babies, twin boys Remy and Theo. Last year Lenna had twin girls, Millie and Ella, of course they also have Jagger their first son. Logan has been right beside Lenna being the best father and husband she could have ever dreamed of.

Leena has worked for them for five years and has always had a slight crush on Logan during this time but there is a no fraternization clause in the company contact. Leena is in a relationship anyway and Logan is a no relationship kind of guy. Now Leena's is left heartbroken and her and Logan give in to their desires. Uh, oh...their time together has left pink lines showing on a test!! What happens next left me frustrated but in a good way. Along with this frustration comes plenty of steam which left this book as a complete page turner for me.

I like surprise pregnancy romances so this hit most of the boxes. There was good hot sex though I can’t remember if equal oral sex. I didn’t not find many if any typos though some of the small asides got confusing - so did she hook up with someone after catching him with his floozy or not? And after it being her fault for delaying telling him about the pregnancy, they don’t really hash out all the things he said to other ppl about her being unimportant. (They do hash these out to an extent with her friends and him to friends and therapist). It was a bit confusing/felt unresolved but not completely disjointed. The boss employee thing was not a huge deal in terms of the sex scenes did not revolve around work though they did have one tryst at the office. I appreciate that though the brothers’ success is alluded to, the author did not salivate over trappings of wealth like so many others do. That’s actually very refreshing. I would read again after a year or so.

Beyond disappointing
I was really looking forward to reading this after the first book in the series but what a disappointment. This book takes place at exactly the same time as the first book, unfortunately this is the problem as many of the scenes from the first book are repeated word for word in this book ( probably as much as half the book). Lazy writing to say the least! The writing in this book is lacklustre and poor quality and if I am brutally honest boring. I stubbornly managed to finish this book but it was a real struggle especially on those repeated scenes where I wanted to shout “we know this!”. Not worth the time to read, sorry won’t be reading the next. Gave 2* as did finish it and 1* I only give for books I dnf.

So much happened. Good lord almighty! Things from Logan and Lenna's POV went hectic real quick. Their relationship went from zero to hundred to disaster. Insert foot in mouth disease with those two. I was so fed up with the both of them. They really needed their asses kicked! A little communication goes a LONG way. I'm glad that Logan worked through his shit with a therapist. There was so much to unpack there. So much guilt and anger he was holding on to. And I'm so glad that Lenna suggested it. I'm also glad to see that the girls gave her a kick in the ass about telling Logan about the baby. They didn't sugar coat it, especially Emma. It's nice to see girl friends actually having those hard discussions. I love the 3 years later chapter. I can't wait to see what's in store for everyone in the next book

I liked the first one better. Maybe because tje author thought there was kind of a build up in the first book, a bit of history for the characters, but it felt like it was akward in this book, not much of a chemistry, it lacked a bit of love in my opinion.

Oh, oh, oh...I am loving this series. And I do love this author too. This is book number two that I've read from her, and so far, everything has been fantastic. I will say, though, this is not a series where you can book hope. You really do have to read them in order, or I think things would get confusing. Yes, the main story would make sense, but there's all this other stuff going on that wouldn't. It just isn't recommended. These books pretty much happen around the same time as one another. There's overlap of events and all, and those events bleed into the current story. So yeah, get with that first story (it was good too) and then read this one...because it was good. Thoroughly enjoyable. And hot and sexy. Woot, woot!
Logan Stone is the gruff, brooding, serious twin of the Stone brothers. Noah was our Book One character, and he was just a sweetheart. Logan? He's tough to love. But our female character, Lenna Lund, loves him anyhow. She has since they first started the business, and she first started on with them as their head of HR. Logan and Lenna danced around their attraction for years until it comes to a boiling point in Vegas. They get busy and then agree it's just a one time thing, to forget about it, blah, blah, blah. You've heard it all before, right? We know in romance novels it never works, especially since Logan's a prick and immediately brings it up to Lenna when she goes to see him in is office. He can't control his alphahole self, even though he absolutely loves her. Things just come out of his mouth--most likely as a self-defense mechanism since he blames himself for his father's death, a death started by his father's affair with a secretary. However, Logan continues to keep going back and forth with Lenna, boinking her and then getting into a fight with her until one day, she up and leaves him and the company (as foretold in the first book). What he doesn't know is that she took a test that had an extra line on it.
I know that Logan is a huge alphahole. If it makes you feel better, he's much sweeter than anyone in a T.L. Swan book. Bwah. That's not saying much. But seriously, he does have a great backstory, and you can see why he is why he is. And it's not like Lenna is a shiny beacon of perfection either because she makes some huge mistakes in the book. It makes for some great contemporary drama...just the right amount of a good billionaire book.

As she mentioned, this book takes place over a very similar timeframe, although it's told from a completely different point of view. This time, we see everything from Leena and Logan's POV.
In some spots it was a bit weird that you were reading events that you already knew about, and some were glossed over, but mentioned briefly - such as Chloe's kidnapping.
Getting ready to start book 3 which I believe is Emma & Anderson's story.
