About the author

Seddik Jelouane is a Moroccan poet with four published books, titled; "Bittersweet" (2019), "Somewhere or Another" (2020), "BECOMING" (2021), and "Moon Ink" (2023). He has also contributed to anthologies and collective projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature, where he developed his passion for poetry and literature. Seddik is the founder of the Moroccan Poets Collective and Dar America’s Poetry Club. He has led poetry workshops at the American Arts Center in Casablanca, the American Legation in Tangier, and the American Space in Oujda. Additionally, he has coordinated artistic projects with the Olive Writers organization for two years. Seddik is an alumnus of the creative writing camp's third edition, and the first edition graduate of the Artivism program. In 2021, his exceptional talent was celebrated by the US Embassy on World Poetry Day.

Such a lovely collection of life, self, nature and people poetry!

Loved the poets and some of them seems so freaking Real! Especially the one about life, lovelies, growing up and self!
Enjoyed reading it from the first word untill the last! Too touchy and worth time read.

Polished but needs culling

Somewhere or another is a poetry collection broken into three parts. Poems are free verse but at times read more like short fiction.

Well polished and put together but I felt most poems needed to “kill their darlings” to be a bit more to the point.

The poem “Foreign Language” about the difficulty communicating depression was a highlight and would love to see more of it.

Enjoyed reading it from the first line tp the last one.
The theme of the poem is already intresting and the poetic touch made it all more attracting and inviting the reader to think and remember his own escapes.
