The Daredevil can be read as a stand-alone, but if you've read the Rivers Wilde series, you have been waiting for Tyson Wilde's story and it did not disappoint!
Dina and Tyson have been circling around each other for some time. This story starts in Texas and ends up in Paris. Tyson and Dina are both career driven and both have something to prove. When their personal lives and careers collide, they have some hard choices to make.
Tyson was the absolute best. What a swoony and stand up hero. And then there is Dina. A total boss babe and a strong and determined heroine. These two make the best pair! I also loved the part that Tyson's mom played in this one. I'll be honest and say she's not been my favorite in certain books of this series but I've grown to lover her!
This was a beautiful, steamy, and engaging second chance romance. It felt so good to be back into this world and I enjoyed this story so much!

Dina and Tyson were explosive from the start! All consuming desire dropped from the pages with each interaction and I was hooked with their story from the start!
A slow burn of a story that was worth it in the end because the turn of events was so amazing and just awe inspiring! I loved how strong and dedicated both of them are and the growth they showed at the end!
Beautiful read and I loved seeing some familiar faces!

I was so excited and thrilled to go back to Rivers Wilde world and Dylan Allen didn't disappoint me. Explosive. Emotional. Sensual. Tyson and Dina's steamy and heartaching love story has everything that can make you fall in love!

Eeeek! The excitement that hummed in me as I opened The Daredevil was nothing short of palpable! I have waited for such a long time for Dylan Allen to bring us Dina and Tyson’s story and boy - IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
These two are like oil and water, but when some sense is shaken into them, my oh my do the meld so well. SWOOOOOON! Together they are tantalizing on every level; and on their own they are intriguing and remarkable.
Dylan Allen has spoiled her fans with the fantastical Rivers Wilde. Adding the story of Dina and Tyson makes this world even more inviting. Dina is such a dynamo and I so love her gumption and integrity. Tyson…well…following in the footsteps of his delectable brothers, he is every bit of the hero that they are. He’s sexy and such a hard cookie to crack. But in the crumbling comes the spoils. I truly couldn’t get enough of these two.

I absolutely LOVE every book in the Rivers Wilde series and Dylan Allen definitely gave Tyson Wilde the book that he deserves. Tyson and Dina have been dancing around each other for a minute and I’m so glad Dylan Allen wrote their story because they’re absolutely explosive!! The storyline is concise, clever, engaging and the sexy times will have you panting. I enjoyed every single moment of goodness, romance, heat and action. The fact that the majority of the story takes place in Paris gave me all the romantic feels. Also, reading glimpses of the characters from the previous books makes it even better. And Tina Wilde, Tyson’s mom still remains the queen of everything and I just love her fierce attitude. The Daredevil can definitely be read as a stand-alone and I highly recommend reading it as well as the other books in the series.

I’ve been impatiently waiting for Tyson and Dina’s story, and they were more than worth the wait. This story was smart, romantic, sexy, and just everything you could want in a romance book. A perfect addition to a series that is nothing less than spectacular. If you haven’t been to Rivers Wilde yet, what are you waiting for?

Gah! Could Tyson be any swoonier??? The story of Dina and Tyson was great. These 2 were meant for each other. And with each of them having trust issues stemming from previous relationships, you knew that they were both going to have to work at it! And bot did they! Watching Tyson come to some realizations was fairly rewarding. This story really gives you the smallest glimpse into the Rivers Wilde world.... and it is a place I love to visit! If one would want to dip their toe in, this would be a fantastic way to do that...... but I highly recommend the whole freaking series! These couples are EVERYTHING in their own ways!

3.5 Rivers Wilde Stars
This is my first read of the Rivers Wilde Series and also the first book I have read by Author Dylan Allen. I enjoyed the story but for me it started off a bit confusing I could tell there was a more of a past between Tyson and Dina but since I hadn't read the previous books in the series I didn't know about it, and while this story can be read as a standalone it took me a bit to figure things out.
Tyson Wilde has always wanted to run the family's company and started working for his mother as soon as he was allowed to, once he graduated college he became a full time employee and had his eyes on the prize.
Dina Lu has worked for Wilde Foods and loves her position with the company, the only thing she would like more is Tyson Wilde to finally be hers.
Tyson and Dina had great chemistry there's no denying that whatsoever. I loved the way they were together once they got to that point. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well and I plan on going back and reading their stories.
If you enjoy Interracial Romances, Office Romances, Second Chance Romances, Siblings Best Friend Romances, or Steamy Contemporary Romances I would recommend this book to you.

Dina Lu is the sister of my soul. It may be strange to say that about a character in a book, but I am unashamed and unchanged in my belief. The way in which she honestly and boldly says what she believes shows a strength of character that I sincerely admire. Moreover she stands on her beliefs even when times are tough. Dina is absolutely fantastic and fierce. She moves to the top of my list of all-time favorite female characters.
Tyson Wilde is the perfect match for Dina. He owns his actions and their consequences. He is committed and steadfast. I love the way he never promises what he cannot provide. His love for and loyalty to to his family are the characteristcs that sealed his unavoidable attractiveness for me.
Watching Dina and Tyson interact in the Daredevil is like witnessing the spark that starts an uncontrollable wildfire, then watching that wildfire consume everything in its path. Tyson and Dina create temperatures that are almost too hot to withstand. They are, quite simply, fire.
Being back in the World of Rivers Wilde was like coming home. Visiting this fictional multicultural village within the city of Houston makes me feel like the world traveler I have always dreamed to be. It also remreminds me of parts of my ancestry that make me unique and fill me with pride.
The Daredevil is a celebration of humanity in all of its forms. It is a call to embrace what makes us different and to strive for the life we dream of. Dylan Allen, with her sensually descriptive writing style, takes readers on a world journey they will not soon forget. It is the place where life truths meet fairy tale endings and dreams come to fruition.

Tyson Wilde struggles to win his mother’s respect as the youngest. He makes a bold move by taking a job in the organization in Paris to prove that he is ready to take over the business. Dina has worked hard to prove she has the skills and drive to be the best at her job. No one has handed her anything and finds herself in an unexpected situation when Tina Wilde offers her an amazing promotion but her first assignment is with Tyson. Tyson and Dina found an incredible connection years ago but he walked away from Dina. Will they be able to pull off this assignment? Or will their desire for each other cloud their judgment? Super sexy and exciting is what this couple delivers. I loved getting to spend more time in the Wilde world! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I love visiting the Rivers Wilde world and the people who inhabit it. Tyson has been on the sidelines until now. He's the youngest son trying to prove himself to the family and in the family business. His single minded determination has left no room for romance or love. His one mistake in the past has made him that way. Dina has been infatuated with Tyson for years now. She has been afraid to make her move but the forced situation might make it for her. These two have been dancing around each other for ever and now it's going to happen or not. I loved the push and pull between them. They come to an understanding then they mess it up. Time and again. Tyson is torn and I can get that. He was burned badly not only by the woman who betrayed him but the reaction of his mother who is also his boss and mentor. He doesn't want to have feelings cloud his judgement or ruin the career he's always dreamed of. Nothing can stand in his way. Dina has the same ambitions. Her career was put on hold by a then husband long ago. Since her divorce, her career has been her only focus. It seems these two will never make the sacrifice so that a love connection can happen.

What can I say other then I fall so hard and so deep into Ms. Allen’s writing. Dina and Tyson were no different. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough to see how this story would unfold. Once again, sucked in and just so utterly in love with the writing of Ms. Allen!

Tyson is that fun-loving youngest sibling who everyone underestimates and we didn't really get to know much about during the Rivers Wilde series. Getting a deeper glimpse into his life in the Daredevil was everything I hoped it would be! Dylan Allen packed a heck of a punch with this novella and had me grasping for the next word until the very last page! I would absolutely love to see the entire Rivers Wilde series become a Netflix series one day!

Man I loved getting to know Tyson and Dina more! We have had glimpses of both of these dynamic characters before, but I love that Dylan gave us their story. This novella was fun and so sexy, and still had a ton of heart! It is a lovely intro to Rivers Wilde and you MUST go back and read this series. 5 delish stars for The Daredevil!

Dina is going through an unpleasant divorce when she first gets a taste of Tyson Wilde. She wants more but he doesn't. Oh well, it's his loss. Now a year later, his dynamo of a mother and her big boss, teams her and Tyson up on an assignment, the fake date for a night kind of an assignment. For a couple of people who dislike each other, it will be a test. A test of their restraint, and a test of just how much they really dislike each other, because that attraction has never gone away. Now the question is, will Tyson step up and be the man Dina needs and deserves when he's called upon to make a crucial decision that will affect both their futures, with his family's company, and their futures with each other? Or will he revert to the cold, career is most important facade he's been wearing for so long?
I love the Rivers Wilde world! So was really glad when I heard more was coming. I was surprised to find out that I didn't particularly like the two Wilde characters of Tyson and his mother Tina, and found him to be kind of a douche, and Tina to overbearing and cold, but I freaking loved Dina! She's a smart af, intuitive woman who knows her worth and isn't afraid to demand she be treated the way she deserves to be treated. That she's half Vietnamese and half Senegalese is only awesome icing on her already amazing cake of a character. Unfortunately, I don't think Tyson was nearly good enough for her, but that's OK because Dina is amazing enough to make me love the whole story despite the two Wildes being less than likable for me.

This author does it again! She has crafted a tantalizing romance that ensnared my attention immediately and held me in its thrall until the very end. This forbidden office romance is deliciously sexy and I adored both Tyson and Dina. These two together are dynamite with both their physical connection, but also their emotional one.
Tyson Wilde is positively swoon worthy! Trying to overcome his past mistakes, this scrumptious man is hyper focused on securing his seat as the head of the family business. Being the youngest, he feels like he is constantly having to prove himself. Dina also has an ambitious streak. She has her goals and is striving to achieve them. For various reasons, neither of them are looking for a relationship and both are hesitant to do anything to derail their plans. What happens when sparks fly between these two? Will they remain dedicated to their career paths? Or will they cross the line into romance?
The Daredevil is the perfect addition to this author’s Rivers Wilde series. It was everything I hoped for! The author’s remarkable storytelling never fails to captivate me and her character development is impeccable. While this is a novella, there is so much that happens within these pages and I found myself fully immersed within the story and invested in the characters. This is a part of a series but it can be read as a complete standalone. Although, I do recommend reading the previous books because the entire series is fantastic!

This is a slow burn that doesn’t disappoint. If you’ve read the Rivers Wilde series you’ve been waiting for Tyson and Dina’s story. It’s worth the wait.
From Texas to London to Paris it runs the gamut of travel as well as the emotions.
Take two strong willed, determined people trying to fulfill their dreams and trying to stifle their emotions and it makes for quite the dynamics.
Not only do get all this but there’s some really interesting intrigue besides Tyson and Dina trying to play it cool with each other. The author has weaved quite the interesting interaction between other characters.
I truly enjoyed the action, the heat, the sweetness and Tyson’s mother! She is a real character! If you’ve read the previous stories you know what I mean. If you haven’t you’ll probably go back and read the other books. It’s well worth it. Rivers Wilde certainly is!

I didn't think we'd get a Dina and Tyson book and I'm so glad that we do. Their chemistry is off the charts I can't seem to get enough when reading. I also felt like travelling to the places in this book. I wish I could read it again for the first time.

Dylan as done it again it! The Daredevil is hands down one of my favorite in the Rivers Wild series.
Tyson and Dina are definitely meant for each other. Tyson is definitely swoon worthy and Dina is a powerhouse. When put together these two are unstoppable.
The only downfall is that I wish it was long bc I so want more of them and the others.

What to say other than Gahhhhhhh…..I absolutely love the Rivers Wilde family and all their books and the Daredevil is a fantastic addition.
Dylan did them proud, I thoroughly enjoyed Dina and Tysons book.
This is a damn hot and fun novella.
Dina and Tyson are a tough pair. Individually they have had lots to prove and worked hard to get where they are….they both have made poor errors of judgment in their pasts which they have to shake off.
When the two come together it’s like dynamite neither take no crap!
Loved this story for them, such a rollercoaster of emotions and revelation on both parts. They both deserve their HEA, just sometimes you have to work that much harder to get it.

Dylan Allen is on fire!!! I was so excited for Dina and Tyson's story because I absolutely adore them! The Daredevil was everything I wanted and more, a delectable, delicious, slow burn journey that has you begging for more.
I didn't want to put this story down, the chemistry is electric, the banter is perfection and every scene they have together just pulls you in!
It's no surprise that I'm obsessed with everything and anything that's related to Rivers Wilde and this time is no different. I love the way Dylan weaves her stories, curates her words and expresses the emotions of these phenomenal characters she's created! I'm so excited to see what she does next, one thing you know you'll get with a Dylan Allen book is a luxurious story, amazing travel and a unputdownable book!

So much heart, soul and oh so much love. I can't even truly put it into words how much I love this book and this amazing and brilliant author.
This book was absolutely amazing! I always feel like I need more of the rivers Wilde series and this is absolutely no different!
Tyson and Dina were absolute fire. From the first interaction we saw in this book to the epilogue it was absolutely amazing.
Dina is so amazingly strong she needed just as strong of a man and phew did she get it.
I can't wait to see more of the rivers Wilde series on the future. This book was everything and more.

It’s been awhile since I read a book by Dylan Allen and Daredevil was a great way to re-engage with her stories. Don’t worry if you haven’t read any other books in this series., this one truly stands alone.
What I really like about her writing is how it continues to pull you in. Just when you might think to put the book down for a break, she throws in something that keeps you reading. This book is a tale of ‘forbidden’ love, the office romance that shouldn’t happen, but when circumstances throw them together again, neither can resist. Tyson and Dina are both great characters, each with their own issues that they must resolve to find their HEA together.
Spoiler alert: just because he’s the bosses son doesn’t mean he can break the rules. I love that Dylan was real with this.

Oh how wonderful to be back in this world! I have looked forward to Tyson's story so much and The Daredevil is fabulous. Well written, intelligent, strong characters who leap off the page and a gorgeous romance all add up to bring the reader a 5 star experience. I loved that Tina played a prominent part in the book and that Dina mirrored her strength and fortitude. Tysoe has divided his behaviours so effectively in personal and social interactions while kept his life focus on not letting Tina down while seeking her approval that he has not allowed himself a proper shot at fulfilling and rewarding that warm heart that beats in his chest. Dina is similar, but she has never stepped back or not acknowledged her intense attract to Tyson. The journey to their proper communication of their thoughts and feelings is one which is a delight to read. Fabulous book Dylan 💖💖💖💖💖
