Wonderful

This is such a great grouping of books and want to read the rest now. Enduring physical & emotional abuse touch each person in the story and how they learn to love again is wonderful.

These are the 1st books 📚 I read by Kelly Moore. BROKEN PIECES: I'm sorry I stopped reading this story at chapter 3 because it didn't hold interest. Since I didn't like BROKEN PIECES I decided not to read the other 2 books 📚 in this set.

Broken Pieces:

Brogan has been traumatized in her past. Since that time she hasn’t let anybody come close to her, except her best friend and her brother. She lives in a small town and just keeps to herself. One night she goes to a town celebration and there she meets Kyren. He’s everything she wants in a man, but Brogan isn’t looking for a relationship. She doesn’t believe in love anymore, but she can’t deny the way he makes her feel. Will Kyren be the one who restores her trust in love?

Kyren is a yacht builder and he worked incredibly hard to get where he is today. He is mesmerized when he sees Brogan. He knows immediately that she is someone he wants to get close to. Their meeting ends with him crumpled on the floor and Brogan running for the hills. A small town has its advantages and he finds her again in no time. Kyren and Brogan can’t deny their attraction to one another, but when they grow closer together old demons resurface. Both of them have their own hurt and guilt to work through, but will they manage to deal with it together?

Brogan sees herself as broken because of the violence in her past. I see her as a strong person who has fought her way through life. She’s tough as nails and therefore it took me a little while to warm up to her. In the beginning I didn’t understand her actions and where she was coming from. When I learned about how she became this way my heart broke for her. Brogan is surviving. She doesn't trust easily, but will do so with all her heart once someone gets past her walls.

Kyren is an ex-military alpha man who has gotten his own share of trauma. It's obvious that he cares about Brogan and he's so sweet to her. I loved that about him. He takes his time to help Brogan trust again. I liked Kyren from the beginning. He’s a wealthy self-made man who doesn’t look down on people and treats everyone with respect.

In Broken Pieces Kelly Moore writes about how Brogan and Kyren got their scars. You really get to know the characters and it's easy to connect with them. I could actually feel their pain and sorrow. Brogan and Kyren’s connection is really beautiful. There is plenty of darkness in their pasts, which left them both traumatized. Kelly Moore writes about them with a lot of respect and dignity and I liked her sensitivity. I was hooked from the very first page and read Broken Pieces in one sitting.

Pieced Together:

Kyren had to make a difficult decision. Even though he saved Brogan’s life he can’t get over the choice he made. To find peace for himself Kyren leaves Brogan at a time she needs him the most. He isolates himself on his yacht and drowns his sorrows in alcohol. Kyren never got over the love he felt for Brogan, but hasn't been able to forgive himself for what happened. When fate leads him back to her will it be possible to win her heart all over again?

Brogan is devastated when Kyren breaks up with her. He’s the only one she has ever fully loved and is sure that she’ll never find a love like this again. She moves to a secluded island in Maine to rebuild her life. She starts her own practice and slowly accepts the way her life is now. Brogan has a big secret which Kyren knows nothing about. When Kyren shows up on her doorstep, determined to be a part of her life again, Brogan has no choice but to tell the truth. Will Kyren finally be the man she needs him to be?

Pieced Together tells the story of Kyren and Brogan three years after Kyren's heartbreaking decision. A lot has happened in the meantime, but the chemistry between them has never changed. They have their own way of dealing with the devastating events that caused them to break up. Kyren and Brogan have both been on a journey, which has made them stronger people. I loved to read about how love heals them both.

Pieced Together is a story about all-consuming love and it has fierce main characters. Kelly Moore is one of my favorite writers. Ever since I started the Broken Pieces series I’ve been hooked. I fell in love with Kyren and Brogan in the first book and my love for them grew even stronger in Pieced Together. They have such an amazing connection. Kelly Moore is an experienced and skillful writer and she has written another brilliant story that I highly recommend.

Piece by Piece:

Steel lost his leg after his plane crashed during the war. Ever since that happened he started closing himself off from everyone and stays within the safe walls of his fortress. His family tries to reach out again and again but fail to reconnect. Steel still works as a trainer for the Air Force. When his captain shows up at his house to send Steel on a mission he can't say no. He immediately starts planning together with his brother Synn and his niece Gray, who will accompany him to rescue his first and only girlfriend.

Adyson loved Steel with all her heart. She was in tears when he chose a different path when they were young. Steel chose the Air Force above all other things and left Adyson heartbroken. Her once so innocent life changed when she married into the wrong family. She is now hiding from her mother-in-law who will stop at nothing to get her back. Adyson is surprised when Steel shows up to rescue her. Both of them can't hide from the fact that they still have strong feelings for each other. Will Steel be able to let down his walls? And when Adyson comes face to face with her worst nightmare will she be able to make the right choices?

Steel is struggling with his self-esteem. He doesn't feel like a real man anymore now that he has a prosthetic leg. His ongoing battle to keep his true self hidden from everybody else is heartbreaking. Steel was badass before the accident and he still is. He is gorgeous with piercing blue eyes and he's a really skilled pilot. He is incredibly loyal towards his family. Steel, Synn and Gray all have a device which is placed inside their ear. Through this device they can connect and locate each other. It's these little details that give the story so much more depth.

Kelly Moore has written another masterpiece with her beautiful story of Steel and Adyson. I loved Adyson. She is so strong, brave and passionate. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to show her true colors. Steel tries to intimidate her, but instead of backing out she confronts him about his insecurities. They have great chemistry together. Piece by Piece is a story that is filled with action, suspense and a lot of unexpected twists and turns. Kelly Moore never fails to pull me in from the start. Her stories move me and Piece by Piece is no exception. Every story written by her is an absolute must-read and I can't wait to start the next book in the Broken Pieces series, Pieces of Gray.

What an amazing box set that you will need tissues for especially the first two reads, I know I did.

Broken Pieces - WOW...Is all I can say. I was hooked from the first page. Brogan is broken after suffering a painful childhood, she has a lot of demons to slay and is afraid she is unloveable. Kyren is broken as well and has his own demons from his past he needs to slay. They are both broken and they fall in love right from the beginning and don't want to let go.
Kelly Moore tells a story of 2 individuals who by some fate meet and start healing each other, their pasts are not for the faint of heart and I recommend a box of tissues. The ending had me in tears and I am now rushing to read the 2nd book in the series as my heart is now breaking as I need my HEA....

Pieces Together - I'll be honest and I thought the second book would drag on for them to reach their HEA.....I was very pleasantly surprised the author gave me what I wanted and didn't waste anytime delivering. The story picks up 3 years later after Kyren leaves Brogan and a lot has happened and changed since then. They pick up like they were never apart. I also enjoyed that we got to see Kyren's POV and not just Brogan's. They do hit a couple of snags during their reunion and there is tension but the author doesn't dwell on it and resolves quickly...thank you for that.
Again you will need some tissues while reading this...I know I did. Can't wait to see what happens to their kids.

Piece By Piece - Once again Kelly Moore delivers a story that has suspense, action, lust/love and two people who are perfect for each other. This first story is about Kyren and Brogan’s oldest son, Steele.
Steele is a broken, lonely man after losing his leg while fighting for his country. Adyson is the girl he left behind when he left for the military many years ago and now Ady needs his help. But she doesn’t know it and doesn’t know it will be the boy who left her behind for his love of flying. When his former Captain requests his help to rescue Ady with a team, Steele can’t refuse but is worried that even after years of w/o leg, conditioning his body, he won’t be enough but doesn’t turn down the request. Their first meeting isn’t pleasant and soon they are running from enemies who are determined to get to Ady. Can he keep her safe and be enough man for her ?
What a read with oh my steamy scenes but what really got me was when Ady was the one woman who was able to break down his walls and see his vulnerability, proving his is man enough for her...sniff...sigh...swoon. At first I wasn’t to keen on Steele, admitting he didn’t waste time to live it up when he ended it with her but he always kept her in his heart and redeemed himself for what he did with the symbol of the arrows before he sees her again. I loved Ady, she was fierce, strong and proved she would do anything to keep Steele safe and alive. I also loved how it all came together and how the author didn’t waste time and prolong to get to their HEA.

Three great reads I couldn’t put down till I was done and a box set I highly recommend !!

Loved the Boxed Set!!!

I loved Brogan and Kyren's story. I loved that they found each other after all that time. Who knew they would end up in the same place, at the same time. Brogan had trust issues and a big secret. Kyren had a lot to make up for leaving. I loved that they got back together.

I loved Adyson and Steel's story. Steel went on a secret mission to rescue Adyson. While moving to the rendezvous point, Steel and Adyson had to work together to escape their pursuers. They also were getting to know each other again. The attraction was still there.

You just have to love HEA's!!

Enjoyed the first 2 books but I couldn’t get past the fact that the third book was politically scary! The US friends and foes threw me and I just couldn’t get into the story after that. My own issue? Possibly. But it was a curve I wasn’t expecting. Finally, please proofread! The amount of typos continued to increase from one book to the next. I will read another book by this author and hopefully it will be much better.

The characters on this series of books were amazing. You will want to be part of their family. Expertly written. You will be pulled in and taken on a wonderful ride. I hope there is another part of this series, I am seriously addicted. Well worth any price, major good read. I will be following this author.

Interesting series of related stories

This is a series of stories and viewpoints that grows on you. The more you read, the Better it gets. Note to editor/publisher- please READ the last couple of stories- the typos, verb tenses, and homonyms were getting pretty bad! Definitely takes away from the story experience!!

This series is about people who are mentally broken but get the help they need. In recovering, they find they are deserving of love and do not need to go through life alone. Very exciting and erotic as well as realistic about certain mental health situations like PTSD.

An excellent read. Found a new author by reading this series in a box set. Talk about hot. Beautifully written. Kyren and Brogan are broken separately but healed and loved together. Can't wait for Gray and Syn's love stories.
