This book deserves more ratings than any book on love can ever receive. Swatii has written a tale that is much different in today's context as well as much needed. While attending her webinars and hearing out all the explanations it changed my perception about modern love for good. I want to be the 60's she calls herself.

The book is section-ed in verses, couplets, poems, and explanations. It is totally different from whatever has been written or read till date. Each chapter describes Swatii's purity towards this emotion and a reader is bound to cry. I wonder what made her write such a beautiful note in the first place. Anyone can see a strong start with a much stronger end. The writer is in much love with a person that she is ready to sacrifice her happiness for his smile. Such purity doesn't exist. But the way she has portrayed it feels she can do that or must be doing it.

There is a couplet where tarz speaks about the lover leaving her for someone better and Swatii has appropriately written a couplet with an affirmative note. I won't post a spoiler. Tarz made me realize how relationships are targetted with weird notions. How relationships are played with, how people curb others with faulty mind games, how beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, how efforts are cool, and how taking space to avoid uncomfortable conversations is naive. It changed my perspective.

She has written subtly about confusion, pain, life, happiness, childern and everything with the guy she has mentioned. I am gonna give this book as a gift to my better half. Tarz came into my life when my entire existence was based on weird blog posts. And as Swatii says; See yourself from the lenses of someone else. Someone who loves, admires, adores, respects, and ready to overlook your flaws. Someone who is a good forgiver because guess what, we are humans and it's needed to commit mistakes, also someone who could consistently and constantly forgive those mistakes. Tarz comes once in our lives, and when you meet your tarz, do not let her/him go. And if they still want to, pray for their well-being and happiness. You cannot force anyone. I cannot wait to read "DUA"... It will surely make me cry more than ever.. What a soulful book Tarz is, wonder how beautiful Dua will be.... There will be letters. Can I write you a letter Swatii?

While reading तर्ज़, one can truly feel how this entire book is dedicated to someone super special. Swatii's tarz. And we readers cannot wait to meet the person. Who so ever that is, is surely a lucky guy. But Swatii considers herself luckier as per her verses in the book. And, still for some reason I want to know if Swatii is single? :p

Anyways, Kudos to this pure Author! She is brilliant!

In a world full of hatred and selfish status updates, Swatii has introduced hope in the form of selfless love. My perception started taking a curve after attending Tarz's Bombay pre-launch. In-between getting hijacked with questions and a tarot card reader predicting her future, this woman kept her calm while answering and listening to everything topsy-turvy. Since people will read the book, I am just going to re-quote her lines that made an alarming impact on the crowd in the Month of February '20...

And she sang in her wonderful voice - hai saaz tu tera tarz mein.. The room full of people kept humming with her and she sang two more songs. Can't wait to attend another such session. A book launch is supposed to be soothing just as Tarz. Can't wait to read Dua.

Much loooove Swatii

Probably the most sorted book published in the last 5 decades. If love is supposed to be this, I would want to fall in love with my husband once again(According to Swatii's Description). Tarz teaches forgiveness, the value of taking space by being together (Pillar of strength), not putting judgments, understanding without dissecting all the situations, talking everything out, need for conversations, keeping the charm alive, teasing at regular intervals, educating each other their differences, being complicated and acknowledging the same, learning skills for each other irrespective of force or tantrums, and there are millions of other reasons.

There is an instance where she smoothly talks about learning and practicing Suyash's favorite dish! And Suyash learning hers. The explanation is beautiful to the extent that my words in the review won't give justice to it. Another couplet talks about the fights and where they aren't fighting each other rather the problem. Seeking the solution of the same.

Oh! I am so in love with this book. Someone give this woman the most beautiful award ever. Also, Who is Swatii's tarz? It is impossible to write such a book without a muse. I cannot wait to meet her Tarz and get on a webinar with her. Thank you for giving this world a precious book like Tarz. Can't wait to read DUA. I will be posting you a letter soon. Will be the first time writing a letter to someone. The next one would be for my husband. Much love Swatii.

Regards,
Shreya

Words will fall short to express the emotions behind this book. This definitely isn't a work of fiction. You can see the depth in the author's words during her webinars. Recently I attended one of her sessions with over 500 people joining in together. I want to just re-quote Swatii's words because a spoiler for this particular book will not be justified...

"Respect isn't an act of force. It comes automatically. You respect a person with all your might and there is no answer or query associated with it. Love is basically a synonym towards respecting someone. You start developing it gradually and you'd never be able to find an answer to it as there isn't any question associated. Moving on the path of selflessness is tarz. Loving someone without expecting it in return is tarz. And the one you truly love will be by your side eventually. The process tests the patience at times. The process is difficult and that is what tarz is - to be there for each other come what may. Your partner will irritate you, frustrate you, hide from you, and nudge you but amidst all these things one emotion would be constant - Love and respect. If it's there, you have got your manzil."

I recorded a lot of parts from that webinar but this has to be my favorite. What an amazing woman. Can't wait to read dua. Also, a much asked question - who is swatii's tarz?

Romance and Intimacy redefined! What a beauty!
Tarz's Bombay pre-launch got me teary-eyed. I was on a work tour and got a chance to meet this celebrated woman. A cozy banquet, minimal decor, nothing with her posters or promotions. All the audience could admire was a Chair, a table with orchids in the vase, a mic, and a guitar. Some chips on the table with Buttermilk. I am still in a fix if that glass of buttermilk was put by mistake. Instead, Swatii re-filled that glass more than 5 times in that 3 hours of a quick session. What a refreshing author!

This beautiful and celebrated author talked about tarz as one of her own. As if she has written it for someone important already in her life. Each and every word she spoke came with such depth. The audience stayed in awe. Who doesn't wish to meet such a man who has already won the heart of the writer of Tarz.

I won't post a spoiler here as the book deserves to be read. But here is something I wish to re-quote - "Unse baat karna hi sukoon hai mera, jab aisa sukoon kahin mil baithe to voh bhala tarz kaise na ho?" I wonder if this was a context solely from tarz or an anecdote from reality.

love swatii. can't wait to read Dua

The beauty of the writer and the book is described when the script happily compels you to create a Goodreads account just to get a chance to talk to the Author. Something I did today. This book has to be read in order to be felt. Such satisfaction. The meaning of love is contenting to read. Irrespective of her interviews and no matter how much she declines, such an in-depth book cannot be written without having a muse. All I can say - This man is lucky. Such an understanding of emotions is pious. Hope to meet you in person someday swatii..

The depth of this book is phenomenal. The concept of home is relatable. A must-have and a must-read.

I remember a sentence from a webinar - "When you'd go selfless, you will find your home in a person. You do not have to fight for your space. Your space will be created. If you are neglected on purpose, swiftly move back and bid a farewell with good wishes. This person isn't your home. Your home will be your confidante." - I felt that

The phrase "In sickness and In health" is the synonym of this book. Changed my perception of love in this era. I no longer waste my precious belief on weird advice on love and the blog posts recommending the do's and don't's a partner should've. Kudos to the Author for introducing this affirmative change.

Speaks about the importance of conversations. Makes me realize how I broke myself in the past by running away from conversations. Such a wonderful reminder. A must read
