Only twenty-five-years-old, but Leighton Eloise Richardson feels ancient. Battered and bruised by a life that she wouldn't wish on her worst enemies, a masked man rescues her.

She considers the man her savior. Though, isn’t he just a devil that she doesn’t know? Anything has to be better than the life that her father has warned her she will be forced to live.

The vice president of the Savage Beasts has a craving. One that includes high-class call girls and any girl looking to slum it with a bad boy like him.

As his brothers start settling down, Mountain wonders if he should too. After all, he’s forty-five-years-old.

When he comes across a poor little rich girl, he decides to take her. It’ll be easy to keep someone all for himself if he’s just kidnapped her… right?
She’s guarded. He’s in pain. Both looking for healing, unsure if they can find it within one another, but willing to try.

When they finally allow themselves to heal from their pasts, they’re able to see the person in front of them and realize that they are meant for one another, not just in body but in soul as well.

Craziness

Leighton and Mountain/Wilder both had rough childhoods. While the club goes to take down Leightons father, Mountain finds her locked in a bedroom.

They take her back to their club. Let me tell you I could've smacked Mountain around him and his you don't touch any one but he can't promise the same.

When he does tell her that he won't touch anyone what do you think the first thing he does? Cheats that's right.

Well after quite some time away and a kidnapping later he realizes he actually loves her.

OMG! Loved this story from beginning to end. From the very first pages, the story drew you right in and kept you there the entire time all the way to the bitter end.

I loved the characters and I loved how involved Mountain's brothers were involved in helping him get his love life straight. I smirked every time a brother tried to give him some sage advice remembering just how it was for them when they were once in this same situation.

We loved Leighton from the moment we met her we loved her feistiness and loved her mouth as she wasn't afraid to express herself and although we felt her pain and our heart went out to her time and time again what we loved most of all about her was that she was a survivor and even though she may have misgivings about her self-worth and so forth of the life, she lead before it didn't completely break her, and she was still a woman capable of feeling and loving.

Mountain was a mix of a douche and being a nice guy. I love his alpha-ness and possessiveness but, I was hoping after learning Leighton's story that he would have been more kind and even compassionate but, most of the time he was nothing but, an utter a**. I love in Mountain's case that the catchphrase you can't always just a book by its cover holds true especially when it comes to Leighton because the more he learns about her the more he realizes just how wrong his first impressions were and the more that he is going have to grovel in order to get back in her good graces.

We loved that Leighton had allies even though we might not beware of who they were, and we loved that Bones, Ava and Dutch were there for her when she needs protection understanding, and hope.

I loved the chemistry that Leigh and Mountain had as it was off the charts even when he was being a douche but, for some ungodly reason, he made her feel safe even if those moments were few and far between.

Overall I loved the story that was full of pain and regrets and misgivings and guilt and one of sorrow. The story was also full of drama and darkness and one of abuse and sickness and cruelty. The constant drama and intrigue were enough to keep us glued to the pages the entire time and one that definitely tugged at the reader's heart-strings for the pain and suffering that these characters had been enduring past and present made it a story that was heartfelt and one filled with a ton of emotion.

I thought that cheating asshole men would always be my passion but not gonna lie, this one may have been where I found my limit.
I mean, I actually appreciate cheating in books.
I think it was because he fucks around after he knows she's missing. Like he's supposedly worried but sleeps with someone else anyways immediately, that night, right after he finds out she's gone. After that it was all just... A lot. I never got the impression that there was any chance of a real HEA.

And the fact that the hero strangles her out of anger, and I think from the description maybe someone hits him to make him stop... I'm not sure what happens there... But he strangles her in a rage until she blacks out and then one of the other women is like "he's a good guy, you need to talk to him he cares about you" and no one addresses that he just assaulted her...

Then again that's what I expect in these books. The author is consistent with the heros of all the Savage Beast novels. This one didn't offend me but it did reach that limit I didn't know I had when I just stop finding the hero attractive or redeemable.

The storyline is good, the author writes decent action and drama, definitely need to read the previous books (and her other series) to get most of it but it fits together well.

Overall, I read it and she always holds my interest but definitely wasn't seeing the romance or feeling anything sexy about the hero by the end.

Annoying as fuck!

Seriously I ended up skimming through much of the inner dialogue, there was just too much of it. Sex scenes were pretty boring.

Two main characters, where do I even start? Leighton, starts off ok, then just becomes this idiot who opens her legs as soon as mountain returns to her yeah she moans at him but she still fucks him. Then she runs away finds out she's pregnant. Meanwhile mountain doesn't call her for months, ghosts her, gets a blowjob, has sex with another women n is basically a bastard.

I cant stand either of these characters frankly.

Then there's the weird plot that is all over the place, like when mountain n worm stop off at the support club to pay them their share n they're surrounded but it ends there and its not mentioned again. I mean seriously I had to check id not skipped a chapter.

The stuff with della n Santiago, jag, mamba et al. So many unfinished threads.

I guess they'll be in the next book, but I won't be reading it.

Over this series tbh. I dont mind cheating and angst, what I cant stand are pathetic weak willed spineless women. So this is the end for me

All hail queen of the alpha holes, Hayley Faiman! Oh how I have impatiently waited for Mountains story. In each book we learned a little more about this huge man with a big heart. We learn about his past and how he came to be a Beast. We learn how he obsesses over rich classy women, and high class call girls. He’s always searching for more, even if he hasn’t realized it yet. When he finds Leighton being held prisoner while he is on a job, his instincts tell him to take her. So he does. When he finds out who she is and that his preconceived notions about her wrong, he becomes his own worst enemy!! So many times I wanted to just slap him up side the head. I love a MC story that isn’t all hearts and rainbows. Sometimes life is dirty and ugly and messy and I wanna read about that stuff! People who overcome the life they where given and fight to find happiness. Mountain does some stupid stuff, but it made the happy ending that much sweeter. He had to fight himself to finally get his happy ending, and it was worth it!

All the same

This whole series is messed up!!! Everyone of the men in these books cheat!! Every single one and they do it knowing their women know about it, and how much it hurts them! Yet it doesn't stop them. It really makes me wonder what the author thinks about as she writes these characters and continues to have them do with everyone. And to top it off all the women just except this because the men tell them to.

This one was definitely brutal. Mountain had me yelling at my iPad A LOT. He had me all kinds of stabby. Leighton has the very worst upbringing you can imagine and sadly their love story isn’t hearts and flowers. Bloodshed, bad decisions and violence awaits. Plenty of action and a very bumpy road to happiness. I couldn’t put it down.

I received an arc of this book.

NAH, I've read enough of this series to know it's all about a TSTL FL which is this author's jam. No matter if I try new or old books by HF, it's so apparent she hates her women characters so much that it makes one wonder about her background! Truly, with the exception of 1 book I can recall, she loves to write about absolute dirty cheating manhoes, with little to no grovel, and loves referring to women as "whores" and "bitches" and makes every single FL a doormat that's been so used, I wouldn't let my flip flops touch it! Every H is a ZERO pig and every h is a dirty doormat that you want to beat against a brick wall to loosen the dirt! UGH

Hayley Faiman is back with another fantastic addition to her Savage Beast MC series, book #6 focuses on Mountain aka Wilder who was brought into the Savage Beast family at the age of 17 after being found beaten by his very own blood brother, he's now in his mid 40's with a penchant for rich, sophisticated women and high class hookers, whichever takes his fancy. What Mountain hasn't realised is, despite claiming to not want anything more serious, deep down inside he actually does want more, he wants what some of his brothers have, the woman and family by their side, waiting for them to come home at the end of the day, it isn't until Leighton comes into his life that he realises that's what his end goal is, of course it does take him a while to admit that, and there's few hurdles in between.

Leighton's not had an easy life she's been a prisoner to her father, controlled by him throughout the years, when Mountain comes across her being held in a locked room he decides she's his for the taking so that's exactly what he does. After discovering who her father is Mountain forms his own opinions of Leighton however he's way off base which results in him becoming his own worst enemy, time and time again, the way he is with Leighton had me so fustrated at times, honestly I wanted to smack him in the face a good few times or two. Leighton's no pushover though she sure hits him back with her own brand of feisty, sassiness, taking none of his rubbish, they're made for one another these two. Mountain has finally met his match, another Beast bites the dust.

I had a hard time deciding what to write for this book. While I enjoyed the series, I felt like with each progressing book, the "heroes" get more callus and unfeeling. Sure I get that these are hardened MC men, but even finding out about her past, he's no nicer to her or more understanding. It's all about him and what he wants, and she basically is along for the ride. I get that she's living her life in survival mode, but at no time do I feel like she finally thinks that she's worth something. In every book in this series, we have the men say I'm incapable of being faithful so grin and bear it, but for god sakes, do these women have no pride? Sure we see that (by the next book usually) the guy kinda stay faithful and I guess love these women the best they can, but I'm getting mighty tired of these guys and their attitudes. Most of her other series have very similar vein of mighty men roar, I do what I want but for some reason, it's worse here and I'm having a harder time picking up this author because of it. Was it a well written book? Yes. The story was engaging. Just the dynamic of these two left an odd taste in my mouth (I think it was dirt, cuz Mountain sure was flinging it everywhere). Get this book if you want to finish the series. Maybe don't get this book as your first read if you have never read anything from this author.

UnHinge Me (Savage Beast MC #6) by Hayley Faiman was a great 5 star read.

Leighton has grown up in a nightmare, her father is a despicable man and the things he is involved in and allowed to happen to Leighton is heartbreaking. When she just thought she had gotten away, he finds her and brings her back home.

Within a couple of days her father's home is raided and she finds herself in the hands of the Savage Beasts MC VP, Mountain. And a Mountain he was. He ends up taking Leighton home with him, there was something about her that attracted him. Mountain has always been attracted to high class women. Was it the girl needing to be saved or was it the poor little rich girl syndrome?

When Mountain has to leave for a job things take a huge twist and the story gets even better. There are so many great characters in this book and several twists and turns. We also get some moments that had me holding my breath waiting to see what the end result was. I really liked both characters but there were a few moments I wanted to bring down the Mountain. The author does a great job with her writing and once again pulled me into her MC world. I was also excited to get the short story UnTwist Me and would love to see more from those two as well.
1-click and get started now on this great series now.

A Powerfully Unhinged, Emotional Rollercoaster Not for the Easily Triggered…

After five books of phenomenal world building, character development, and overall stellar storylines, coupled with the much welcomed increase in interpersonal and overall plot detail in the last book, I was beyond excited for this one. “Unhinge Me” is book six of Hayley Faiman’s Savage Beasts MC Series. A book featuring one of my favorite of the MC brothers, Mountain.

After getting to know Mountain in Della and Eagle’s story, seeing his care and genuine concern for not only her welfare but her overall happiness and security. I couldn’t wait to dive into his story and see him get the happy ending the previous installments had me dreaming up for him.  However, surprisingly, I am not sure I can fully put into words how I feel about his book, his personal tale, him as a man, his overall being.  And for the first time with the Savage Beasts universe, I found myself not being able to fully embrace the story presented. Found myself deeply contemplative and morose by the prose before me...

I have written on Sadt Cookie often how my own background and life experiences bring me to relate fiercely to the deeply flawed and damaged. How my own background leads me to identify with the stories of those often hidden away, that lead lives filled with struggles, needs, and desires outside the realm of “acceptable” life; lives often overlooked despite being more real, full of more emotion and authentic connection than the everyday folks within the public realm of humanity. It is because of this that I struggled with it, as this book hit so very, very close to home that it made me unexpectedly flinch. Because unlike the man we are led to believe he is, the giant, grizzled biker with a heart and soul of pure gold, here, we are presented with a full view of Mountain. A man who is deeply affected by his past traumas, a man who is callous, petty, and at times unnecessarily cruel. A man who flees from himself and others, who more often acts like a spoiled child rather than a grown man in his mid-forties, who lashes out in anger and rage, and hurts the ones he cares for the most. And at times, it is most difficult to read as it will prick things deep inside you, things you may not have even realized existed previously.

The chemistry and personal connection Faiman presents with Mountain and Leighton’s story is intense and definitely not for the faint of heart. As she peels back the layers of his background, reveals more detail of his childhood, you will wonder why she brings Leighton in as his love interest. Especially as it becomes clear that her background and past traumas are on a direct collision course with his, something that at first glance looks like a grisly train wreck in the making. And it is a train wreck you are forced to endure in stomach churning slow motion, as here, as with book five, Faiman continues her more methodical march through the plot. Here she continues to more carefully wind her way from start to finish, connecting more of the character details and plot points from earlier installments building and building and building, creating a sense of emotional overload that weighs heavy on your heart and mind.

Here Faiman continues the assault on your senses with things that have been building since book one, presenting a story that fearlessly displays the reality of trauma and how people individually and collectively deal with it. Illustrating in gory detail how physical, sexual, and verbal abuse damages both physically and emotionally, and can break an individual beyond recognition. Here with Mountain and Leighton’s story she continues to unapologetically present characters with real issues, interacting with real relationships, and creating scenarios that, while difficult to read and imagine, touch something deep within you and lead you to truly contemplate the very essence of each of the characters presented on the page.

She expertly plunges you into the midst of their emotional despair as you are forced to watch Mountain’s inability to stay, his inability to cherish, protect, and keep Leighton from harm, often inflicting the harshest of his demons upon her himself. And in his unconscionable actions we see the abandoned little boy abused by those who should have protected him the most; we see the man ill-equipped to deal with the emotional demands of adult life.  All the while simultaneously subjecting you to Leighton’s almost sedate reaction and acceptance of Mountain’s abusive treatment; a reaction in which we see through to the woman beneath the strong façade, a woman raised to be a sexual commodity by her father rather than view herself as an actual human worthy of respect, love, and fair treatment.  And together, in their equal willingness to run from the other, to run and hide, we see how they both are unable to trust in the good between them after a lifetime of everything being so very bad. It is a heart breaking, rage inducing, stomach churning story that will leave you both stunned and speechless. A story that for me, contained scenes so vivid, so internally triggering I had to walk away and recapture my breath and calm my pulse so that I was able to see the story for what it really is, one of growth, healing, and regained inner strength.

It is a powerful story of second chances and having the courage to try again despite the horrors of the past. And while it is dark and difficult to read, it is profoundly affecting, and a very fitting end to my 2020 review efforts.  I have said this several times before in my reviews of this series and it remains true, the Savage Beasts MC will have you addicted by the end of first chapter of book one. Each book after will reinforce this addiction and turn you into an absolute fiend.  Faiman’s writing will irrevocably affect you with its raw, torturously painful, yet relatable human landscape. It is a fiercely bold take far braver than other romances within the MC subgenre. And it is hands down the best book series I read in 2020. Here's hoping this author continues to release stories in this series throughout the year to come as I for one do not want this story to be over.

I love Hayley's alphaholes but Mountain was on another level. He was extremely frustrating at times. My heart broke for Eloise and everything she'd been through and I knew it wasn't going to get easier for her any time soon. Sometimes Mountain was a straight a**hole but I understood what he was going through at the time as well. Both of these characters had some baggage but I knew they would heal each other if they managed to work out. Hayley has the ability to make you loathe her men until they finally submit to the love of their woman. Mountain and Eloise's story was a rough one but oh so worth it. He's a grade A alphahole but manages to redeem himself by the end. Another great read!

Leighton is a rich twenty five year old woman living a life of hell. A masked man kidnaps her but she considers him her savior from a terrible life. Mountain is the president of the Savage Beast MC. His love life is full of women but not the kind that you spend a life time with loving. He is now fourty-five and watching all his brothers settle down. He wonders if he can ever find a special woman to call his own. He sees Leighton and decides to taker her for himself. The two have more in common than they might think and become a great couple. Excellent read!

Sorry but

this baby needs an edit.
His eyes were dancing so often that I was afraid that he was suffering from undiagnosed nystagmus.
"Couple weeks" was repeated way too many times to be a typo.
The same word repeated twice in the same sentence.
The same description repeated twice within two sentences.
I hate when I see mistakes like this. I read in English to learn the language (not a native speaker) and catching things like that? It just ruins the book completely for me, sorry.

Mountain and Leighton

I rated the previous books quite highly. This is due to that they are what they are and I’ve come to realise it’s just the authors style.
As I always say the writing is good and some books are better than others, but what I don’t see much growth in this series. The MMC are just here there and everywhere. I don’t mind this if the story evolves into something more meaningful, especially as the authors style is very raw and there’s no hearts and flowers, but when you don’t see their character show any real development it just falls a little bit flat. Especially when the MMC spouts the BS about people can’t ever make promises as something can change…yes in essence that’s true. People cheat and lie, something can happen that changes everything BUT in a good healthy, committed relationship you are 100% in it together. You are a team, lock hands together, move forward side by side and don’t hold anything back.
If you think the same BS as Mountain then you don’t deserve the person you are with…what’s the point in committing if you never actually truly believe that you can stay faithful? The words of love are just hollow and you’ll be constantly waiting for the sh!t to hit the fan. That’s why I feel the characters don’t show any growth and feel emotionally stunted. I get that they are meant to be unapologetic, but it doesn’t fit in with their words and sentiments. If you say and think it…act it!

I’m probably waaaay over thinking it, and I know the words on the pages read are just fictional, but anyone reading just remember, a good man is someone who loves you whole heartedly, he would never doubt himself and you are enough.

The stories don’t all end with an HEA, they end with a HFN….with a definite possibility of the FMC being absolutely f**ked over….but saying that..as with all of these books (putting my personal morals aside) they are so readable and just addictive.

I’m so tired of the cheating… ☹️

I get that these are MC stories, but I’ve read so many awesome ones that don’t need the rampant cheating going on to make them hard core. (This review will contain spoilers).

I feel like this is the worst one yet of this series which breaks my heart because I couldn’t wait for Mountain’s book. These books are very well written but my God Mountain was a detestable hero. While he expects the utmost loyalty from Leighton, he cheats on her the first chance he gets by getting a blow job from someone. Then he acknowledges he “fucked up”, but then the very next night has sex with the same woman because it was just “easier” than saying no. It made it me sick.

Leighton goes missing for a while (she’s staying at a rival club and is pregnant with Mountain’s baby). He doesn’t know this though. He doesn’t make much effort to find her but at least during these months, he doesn’t sleep with anyone else. But not because he didn’t try—he just couldn’t get it up. He’s finally reunited with Leighton. Finds out she’s pregnant with his baby and it seems like maybe he’ll turn over a new leaf. But no. He gets her home and then breaks her heart again. And he’s not really sorry about it either. I really just wanted her to leave him and never come back.

He has to go on a run and she gets kidnapped and then when he finally finds her he realizes that he loves her and can’t live without her. It was really a sweet moment but I felt like it was too little too late. He does finally fully commit to her and their baby and that at least made me happy.

I’ve been waiting for Mountain’s story for a long time and I didn’t know how I missed the release of UnHinge Me until now.

Leighton was not exactly the classy on the street and freak in the sheets girl that I imaged for Mountain. However, they had an indescribable connection. However, being the chauvinistic and selfish one-percent biker, Mountain had caused some unnecessary heartbreaks. Fortunately, he wised up and proved he could change for the right woman.

The vigilante activity of the Savage Beast continued throughout the country. An unexpected appearance in the enemy’s camp had aided in the escape of some planned brutality. War was awaiting the beast and I cannot wait to find out what will happen next.

After seeing Mountain in previous books, & seeing his caring & softer side, I was excited to finally get to his story. My heart went out to him in the last book when Mountain found out he was the father of Della’s baby, but walked away allowing Della and Eagle to raise it as a family. But seeing him in this book, it had me wanting to punch him over & over again to knock sense into him. He was the biggest a**. He’s got many layers & as they’re peeled back we see he’s got a whole other side to him. One thing for certain he’s a HUGE manw*ore. I was disgusted how he let some woman blow him, then found out Leighton was missing & turned immediately around & f***** the woman! His excuse- I had to, it’s just about business! He really screwed up a lot in this book.
I loved Leighton. She had sass & fire, & she nailed it 100% in the beginning when she told Mountain he was scared of her. But just like the other women, I so wanted her to have a little more backbone w/Mountain.
I really enjoyed seeing the novella at the end for Dutch & Ana. Seeing them together was good. They were both there for Leighton & were the support she needed.

Unhinge Me completely Unhinged Me!! Hayley has written another fabulous story.

This is another great story about the Savage Beasts. I have been so excited for Mountains story. Boy was I surprised!

Mountain (Wilder) has tastes for the rich ladies. Hes been a Beast since he was 17 and now he's in his 40s.

Leightons father is a monster. She escapes from him for 5 years then she is captured by her father and locked in a room. The Beasts raid the house and Mountain discovers her and takes her. Then the craziness starts. I wanted to smack that man several times. He went on a very long run leaving Leighton alone. She leaves with another mc and he puts with another women. She discovers she's pregnant. When Mountain returns thats when things heat up. You can only imagine what happens. This book had me rolling with emotions. I wanted to cry, scream at and hit Mountain. Both though are very hard headed and stubborn.

I love all of Hayley's books.

Good read for Mountain

Thank goodness Mountain got his chance. I was worried about Mountain from the previous book. What is going on with Della and Eagle and Mountain? Why is Mountain making this whole situation so difficult, still? I want to scream at him to just stop. Blended families are the norm now just be an adult and work out the share plan! Well in this book Mountain find a beautiful blond that need help. He rescued her as part of a job. However, he is still being a jerk. There will be a lot of shaking your head on this one. You may even want to scream at him, really. Leighton is great in this book. She is damaged but not self destructive so it’s a relief to enjoy her grow in the freedom from the villains. Read On!

Unhinge Me KU 358 pgs **** 9/8/20 Mountain & Leighton

4 stars. Leighton was raised by one of the main men that steals women to sell. She was sheltered until she accidentally saw what was going on, as a young teen. She was able to escape and hide out for 5 years until being recaptured by her father. The MC target her father and when they invade his house, Mountain found Leighton and took her back to the club for himself. Their chemistry was good, again long drawn out sex scenes that became boring after a few. Mountain leaves several times on long journeys leaving Leighton not much choice but to go to another club for protection. The flow was good, MC action good, Mountain finally manned up and the ending was HEA

I was so looking forward to this book! Mountain has been one of my favourite characters and I was so excited to read this but it disappointed me. I felt like there were parts of the story missing. What happened when Mountain & Worm were surrounded?, If Waver knew Mountain was coming why didn't they have any back up? It was and all too easy! Parts of the story felt repeated from previous books (3rd time a Savage Beast was pushed into having sex). I was hoping for so much from this book and unfortunately for me, it didn't deliver.

Can't wait for the next one

Wow each story just get better but still would like more jungle with the old ladies. This one had Trista and Leighton together. Mountain made Leighton his gal but only because of her rich bitch status. Not knowing how bad her life is with her father. Mountain is still coming over the guilt of signing his rights away on his child. Jaguar is back not knowing how to make memes with his brothers but helps Trista and Leighton escape. Lots going on, must read

Mountain

Mountain and Leighton story pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. For a bit I was getting whiplash trying to keep up with these two, but I couldn't be happier for them and they say things turned out. I loved seeing Mountain' s love for Leighton grow and how she always knew it was him she needed. I loved it the short story of Ana and Dutch those two are hot together and perfect for one another. I can't wait to see what happens next!

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
I have been wanting to read Mountain's story for a while now. He is one character that I had become invested in early on in this series. When he frees Leighton only to take her home with him I knew this story was going to be a great one and I was not disappointed. At times Mountain needed to be shaken but in the end I loved how he fought for what he wanted. Loving this series.
This is a novel of two people a male who family life was tragically bad with a evil older brother , and a female character whom father was a tragically ,evil , and cold hearted villian. He hurt his own daughter. But these two people , found love. And her is their story.
