Riveting!

Asha finally has her dream job in New York City. The Red Heeled Rebels gang is making a mostly legal income in partnership with Chef Pierre, creating catered delights for their wealthy customers. On the verge of signing a lucrative contract to cater the sixteenth birthday party for the Saudi Arabian ambassador’s daughter, Asha and Katy are startled by the sound of a girls wail from somewhere in the ambassador’s penthouse and Bidi dashes into the room warning them to leave because there are bad things going on in the house. To make matters worse, the ambassador’s daughter calls begging for help just before the call is cut off, and when Asha arrives at her room in time to see men searching the room and spots an inert body on the bed. The Rebels know they must investigate but the ambassador’s diplomatic immunity will prevent any help from law enforcement even if they find anything.

This fourth book in the series, reveals another aspect of abuse and slavery that spans cultures and reaches into even the highest levels of society. The plot is dark and engrossing. The danger and intrigue kept me on the edge of my seat; a definite page-turner. Although I received a free copy, my review is voluntary. I couldn’t put it down!

I loved this book just as much as I have the rest of the books in the series. You can read this book as stand alone but it is so much more exciting as you get to know the members of The Red-Heeled Rebels. Asha, Katy and Bibi find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time in the start of this book. They learn all about political immunity and what happens when you catch a glimpse of a horrendous crime taking place. These kids have come to mean so much to me as I have read how they all came to be together and the horrible things they have had to endure. Asha is finally living her dream of working with Chef Pierre as his partner. Luc has become an amazing cake decorator, Katy is great with being Asha's assistant and little Bibi is now old enough to be their driver and delivery girl. Tatyana and David are running a Dojo teaching classes to the team in self defense but also teaching classes to many students in different areas
Win is attending Stanford and raking in award after award for her brilliance on computer technology. Chef Pierre's good friend the Dragon Lady helps get the Red Heeled Rebels a very lucrative contract to do a 16th birthday party at the Saudi Arabia Embassy but what looks like an awesome opportunity turns on its head getting the team into more trouble than they may be able to get out of. When a CIA agent shows up at their door and when there home is found to have bugs around the perimeter, who is after them and what do they want. You will not want to miss this book! I can't wait until Ms. Herath gets the next book ready for us!
I received a free download of this book from the publisher, this review is my own honest opinion of a book I really enjoyed.

This is book four in The Red Heeled Rebels series. I absolutely love this series, if you are looking for a series that will tug at your heart, enrage you, question humanity and keep you on edge this is the series for you. Asha and her adventurous mix matched group encounter everything along the way. Even though they have the best of intentions to rescue and keep one another safe, someone is is the wrong place at the wrong time. This book is no different, the story centers around a Saudi Arabian ambassador's daughter, its a catering event for Ashe and Katy for her sixteenth birthday party. Things change quickly when there are a girl's screams within the home and diplomatic immunity in the way of the law. Another amazing story in the series that will have you turning the pages, sitting on the end of your seat and saying 'Just one more page'.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and received a free copy from the author.

Each book takes us to a different locale and now we are in New York City. Asha and her team open a bakery here and are invited to make the birthday cake for the Ambassador's daughter's sixteenth
birthday party. What seems like a dream job turns into a nightmare as The Red Heeled Rebels become embroiled in the seedy underworld of the rich and famous.
Another thrilling adventure by the Supremely talented Tikiri. Although each book is a stand alone, the reward is so much greater when read in order. Given as a beta read, this is my honest opinion.

Fast Paced

Once again the Red Heeled Rebels we’re involved in a fast paced adventure. This one took place in New York City. Although it was a great story it was lacking something but I don’t know what.

It was very different than the first three, maybe due to the fact that it took place on US soil so I found a lot of the intrigue to be missing mainly due to the fact that I’m familiar with how the US functions.

I am looking forward to their next adventure to see what they get involved with next.

another hit!

in this fourth book of the series, the small group continues to grow. What started out as one person, soon becomes seven. I encourage you to start with the first book of the series. You will be shocked and amazed at how one person becomes a small group. This, throwing together family, is now united in ways you will not believe! asha, is the one who holds the family together. They each have their own unique skill set, every last one of them will be tested by the time you get to the end of this book. You will immediately begin book 5. Let’s get to reading!

The Girl Who Broke Free

The Red Heeled Rebels continue in New York. They had hoped to continue running the bakery and dojo to help support their cause to fund a safe haven for girls that had been trafficked, and their vigilante group. But when they learned that the Ambassadors daughter was going to killed on her 16th birth, they had to act fast. And now the via wants them to join them but can they trust them? This is the 4 th book and is action packed as are all of the books before. I highly recommend starting this series from the very beginning

The Red Heeled Rebels catering company is in New York. They get the job of catering to a Saudi ambassador's daughter's birthday. Sarah is the birthday girl, but something is going on. Sarah is drugged and can hardly walk. The team of Rebels feel the need to get her away from this family who abuse her. This is another page turner in this series. Young girls being held and raped, gun shoot outs, and near death for the team.

The Story Continues...

Another unputdownable installment of the multi-national group of friends who keep finding the worst of humanity and fighting for justice- a bit messily, but good-heartedly- on the behalf of the trapped and exploited.

Settled in the US, having opened a bakery and a dojo, our heroes seek normal lives. But injustice still exists even in the upper crust of society an the Rebels just can't turn a blind eye.

This exciting book takes place in New York City. Asha now has her dream business, a bakery. While discussing a catering job for a Saudi ambassador for his daughter's 16th birthday, Asha receives a text message from the daughter, Sarah. When Asha goes to meet the girl, she finds a spoiled brat who yells and mistreats the family servants. But when Asha, Katy and Bibi leave, they are pursued and flee under gunfire. Bibi keeps pleading with Asha to help Sarah, but she is reluctant and feels like Sarah is wanting attention. A few days later Asha returns to the ambassador's penthouse to further discuss the catering gig further, and agrees to talk to Sarah, but finds the girl's bedroom striped bare and no sign of her. Asha realizes something is terribly wrong the the ambassador's house. When the ambassador announced his daughter will cut the cake, Asha and her team decide they will get Sarah out of there during the event. The day of the gig, Asha and her team gear up for a rescue, but they know something is up when Sarah passes out on her cake, after her brother repeatedly slaps her. Asha finds the girl in her striped bedroom, groggy, she knows Sarah is drugged. Read this exciting book to see how Asha gets Sarah out of the building. When Sarah tells Asha her friends will be killed because she escaped, Asha and her team agree to help them. But when part of the team is captured, can Asha save them and the girls before it's too late or will she loose her dear friends in the process? This is another nail biting, edge of your seat, roller coaster ride from an outstanding author. Even though I was given a copy of this book by the author, it in no way influenced my opinion and this is my honest review.

The family is growing

Everyone is back in this story and we see how they all came together for a bakery and dojo, but also still working to save others. We have a new problem of abuse in an embassy that they don’t want to engage with, but feel they must. They also have some unknown people spying on them and possibly the CIA. Some romances are stirring and we see a lot of the group starting to process and heal from the events of their childhood/precious books. Another great read and addition to this world!

A Cake Baking Shop Full of Heroes

Asha Kade and her small crew of people are more than just bakers and Karate instructors. They are preparing a special cake for a young girl’s sixteenth birthday, but they receive a text message asking for help from the girl or someone close to her. Then the girl disappears. On the day of the party the girl is brought in for the party. She looks very sick or drugged. How can the cake bakers help this young girl with her problems? Who is the main cause of the many problems that the young girl is experiencing? Is it too dangerous to help one young girl?

wonderfully unique

Superbly written, fast moving, original. Cake decorating turns into saving lives from diplomatic criminals to shoot out scenes during life saving activities. Thrillingly constructed.

Asha and her red heeled rebels are on the case again saving an ambassador's daughter from her own misogynistic family. Her birthday is about to become her last if the crew doesn't get her out of there and they do so with plenty of action and firepower rescuing more trafficked girls along the way.

Shadow rescue groups do exist but not to the extant in the book. Appropriate book for someone living in the Atlanta area, a hub for kidnapped people.

Another suspenseful, page Turner story. The characters very believable. This high jacking of innocent victims is mind boggling. It's terrible what the victims go through.

hmmmm…a hate story

Not overly sure about this book at all. No swearing until one of the worst of all set of words is used . Sexually clean.
But the big thing is this book is written like it’s a hate story against Saudi Arabian men, all of them. It’s hatefulness is almost extreme and is sure to have some people believe this storyline happens constantly. All Saudi people, including the women cannot be trusted. A hate story indeed. One I won’t recommend.

BORING & SLOW FILLED WITH MEETINGS AND TALKING ABOUT THE PAST AND MORE TALKING ABOUT THE HERE AND NOW.THEN MORE TALKING, TALKING AND MORE TALKING. GROAN. NOT A FAN OF THE WRITING STYLE A CHAPTER ENDS WITH AN UNFINISHED SCENE, NEXT CHAPTER STARTS SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE STORY. KIND OF CONFUSING AND CORNY AT THE SAME TIME. ;(

Very interesting concepts especially for characters but things could have been fleshed out more especially instead of being repetitive with other things.
