The final book in the Romance & Revolutions series.
How does an omega know when it’s time to live again?
Pulling away from all the reminders of his husband was the only way Wade survived his alpha’s passing, but time and the love of his friends helped heal the once immeasurable wounds. However, coming out of his grief has left him new pains. Left with an empty house and an ache to submit, Wade can’t help wanting to belong to someone completely again. But is he ready to move on?
How does an alpha know when it’s time to reach for the love he’s always wanted?
After the death of his friend, Griffin stepped away from the only man he’d ever loved—the only one he could never have. Time apart from the sweet omega who’d always made him smile hasn’t dimmed his feelings, but it isn’t until he sees the beautiful man submitting to another that he realizes, once again, he might have missed his chance at love.
When the pull to submit meets the push to dominate, sparks fly, but it’s love and tenderness that will finally give them the confidence to move forward together.
Story Contains: M/m romantic content, BDSM elements, and non-shifter alpha/omega dynamics.
Shaw Montgomery loves reading, traveling, and family. While not necessarily in that order, they all rank pretty close. Shaw has lived all over the United States and even Germany. While the coast of North Carolina is a favorite place Shaw currently lives in the Western United States. Current wish list places to travel to are Australia, Italy, and Scotland.
When Shaw wants to write about things that are a little more taboo (or sometimes a lot more taboo), Shaw writes under the name M.A.Innes.
I've been looking forward to Wade's story from the beginning of the series.
Wade reconnects with Griffin, who was a friend to both Wade and his husband Matthew, before Matthew passed away.
It was great to see the club open and thriving. All the work of the guys and their partners coming to fruition.
The night the onegas spent drinking at Austin's house was hilarious. I love their drunken logic. These omegas are the best of friends and made family. They would definitely help each other hide a body if necessary, thankfully it isn't but you know they'd do it for each other.
I loved Ari and Seth, Griffin's employees. They were sweet and fun. I look forward to their story.
Wade and Griffin were sweet, super hot and so romantic together.
Given the upswing in interest in Dakota, I was actually looking forward to Wade. Alas, it was boring. I expected we'd get some angst, given than Wade is a widower and Griffin is a friend of his deceased husband, but we hardly got a sob. It felt very similar to past books, especially Bradley, Jonah and Tanner. All the way down to the sex scenes, which felt very repetitive at this point. I was, overall, bored. Which is a strange thing to say about a bdsm omegaverse book, but here we are.
After watching all his friends fall in love, our sweet widower Wade gets his much deserved HEA. I love Wade and his kinky omega friends. It's been satisfying to see them each find an alpha dom (or two) who loves them just the way they are. Who knew that Wade's second fated mate would be someone from his past? Griffin was friends with Wade and his husband Matthew, but he never realized that they were in the BDSM lifestyle. When he sees Wade participating in a scene with Dakota and Tristan, he finds that the feelings he always had for the sweet omega haven't gone away. Those feelings are actually alive and well, and they keep growing stronger. This story is full of humor, including another drunken night for the omegas, as well as the cute twins who work for Griffin and desperately need an open-minded dom for themselves. There is also the love and passion this series is known for. I don't want to say goodbye to these couples, and I greedily hope I won't ever have to. The guys' new club and its patrons should hopefully provide many more story ideas, and more chances to spend time with these adorably insane omegas and their equally adorable loves. I look forward to seeing them again, and I hope that happens in a romance for Griffin's sweet employees.
Omega Wade had survived the death of his alpha Matthew but it was hard and he only managed it with the support of his friends now that time has passed he finds himself with an empty house and a need to submit. Now he is starting to believe it is time to move on. Alpha Griffin was friends with Matthew and Wade and when Matthew died he stepped away from the only man he had ever loved but when he saw Wade submitting to another man in the new BDSM club he realised that he might have missed his chance at love. When the pull to submit meets the push to dominate, sparks fly, but it’s love and tenderness that will finally give them the confidence to move forward together.
I loved this last story in the series. It was wonderful to see that Dakota and Tristan tried to include Wade in something that they knew he really needed and to see him being brave enough to do it in front of others in the new club was special. I was thrilled to see him find his friend again and that their relationship didn't exclude or ignore Matthew but made sure that they were both able to move on and work past that. So many emotions and feelings for them to work through and past and it was all done in a sensitive manner. I don't think I have ever laughed so much as the monthly drinking get-together for the omega friends and the way that their alphas were indulgent but made sure that they were all safe. The picture in the boathouse on the wall sounded spectacular. Easy to read feel and understand. This story contains MM mature content including BSDM-like behaviours including a D/s dynamic, flogging, edging and non-shifter alpha/omega dynamics.
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
The final book in this amazing series about Omegas who want to be the real them. They are sick of all the rules and implications that they need to act a certain way. In the old days they would be claimed by an Alpha who would be dominant and to whom they could surrender themselves and feel free. In this final book we learn more about Wade and what happened between the sheets with his husband. Wade still mourns his husband who died of cancer, but always told him to find new love. When Griffin turns up at opening night at their new BDSM club, his friends know that Griffin is his new chance of love. Griffin used to be Mathew's friend and was secretly in love with Wade. But after his friend died, he didn't want to disturb Wade in his grief. They carefully try their renewed friendship, which soon turns into more. Griffin doesn't want to replace Mathew, but can he be something else and exciting for Wade? Can Wade still mourn Mathew and at the same time find new love with his old friend? Wade often still talks to Mathew, and he is convinced he is pushing him that way. I loved this series about omegas exploring their inner needs. Each book contains a drunken scene and is so hilarious you can't stop laughing which is nice with all the other emotions going on. A real recommender.
Wade by Shaw Montgomery is the 6th book in the Romance and Revolutions series. This story doesn’t have to be read in order, but I feel best enjoyed in order for the minute details that come into play. This story is in dual POV and that pov really fits this story well.
Wade is an Omega. He was married and is still grieving for his husband. But he is ready to let him go. He has great friends especially Dakota, but he needs to move on.
Griffin is in business for himself. First time at the BDSM club. He knew who Wade was, when Wade was with his husband Griffin had wanted him then, but Wade was happily married. Seeing him now he had those feelings come flooding back. He wants to be the one Wade can come to.
I love this story of love loss and found. These two men are perfect for each other. I love the pace of this story and the emotion it kept me turning the pages. I adore this series and cannot wait for more Omega’s and the love they find.
Packed with so much emotions...laughter, healing, and so much love
I have loved this series since book 1 and with every book my love for this group of guys just grew. And for me Wade was an emotional book, not only because of all the emotions in this book with sweet Wade finally healing from losing his love but also cause it's the last book in this series. I do not want to say good-bye to these hilarious, naughty, sexy, kinky, and loveable guys. But I'm so happy sweet, naughty Wade got his happily after. And Griffin is so perfect for him, so understanding, letting Wade just bloom. And the way Ms Montgomery didn't push Matthew to the back to be forgotten but made him part of their story and acknowledged Wade's love for him without Griffin going into any drama, just made this story more sweet, more perfect. And of course, the drunk get togethers are so hilarious. I want more!! Like I said, I do not want to say goodbye
Each book in Shaw Montgomery's Romance and Revolutions series was an extremely fun. quick read. But the last, Wade, was the best. Wade had been the first of the Omegas to find his mate, until cancer took him from the Omega. As each of the books unfold and the other Omegas find their Alphas; Wade becomes more withdrawn. And the others become obsessed with helping him find an Alpha to love. Their kink club opens and the caterer for the event is an old friend of Matthew, Wades deceased mate. Griffin is an Alpha. Who had loved Wade for years. And just had to get him to understand that a new love would never take the place of an old. This is a second chance at happiness book. There's some angst and a few moments which might bring a reader to tears. And a lot of bits to laugh at. Very enjoyable. I would happily recommend the entire series.
It was always apparent that Wade’s story would be the sweetest, most emotional of the series and this did not disappoint. I enjoyed how the relationship between Wade and Griffin was an extension of the relationship between Wade and Michael rather than being a replacement. Griffin having been Michael’s friend and tacitly chosen as an unsuspecting third in the relationship made it seem as if things came full circle. As in the earlier books, the drunk Omegas were hysterical and the addition of the twins to the group makes it seem as there are more stories to be told.
This was the one I wanted most. We have been getting to know Wade a little more in each book. You can see him coming more out of his shell with each book. If you thought he was hot in Dakota’s book you ain’t seen nothing yet. And don’t get me started on their drunk antics. I love Austin but I don’t think I want his cocktails lol. Oh and wait until you meet the twins. Something tells me we are going to be getting more from this word. There are some characters I can’t see being quiet for too long.
This whole series was awesome! I’m so glad Wade’s story was last. In the other books he seemed to grow from the devastated widower that everyone had to watch over into an almost ready to date again single omega, so seeing the conclusion to that progression was heart warming. Reading a story where the new love acknowledges and welcomes the first love into the relationship was great, I can only imagine if all three were together.
Now I need to know how the twins find their alpha!
Shaw never disappoints. This book had so many feels. I was glad to see Wade get his HEA, he is just the sweetest. And Griffin, his love for Wade and his understanding of his group of friends is special. The drunk scenes are so hilarious! Be careful where you read that part, because you will laugh out loud. Griffin's employees, Seth & Ari are freaking adorable. I hope to see them in their own book...soon!!! Read the whole series, you won't be disappointed. Anything by Shaw is an Amazon one click.
This book has all the sweetness, and cuteness you could want. While also showing the strength in submission, and covered most of what should been covered like limits and safewords. With nothing happening that was against a limit. Making it 100% in my book. This book has love, drama, passion, but for me a BDSM Book has to depict it how it should work. Otherwise you risk readers going out and getting hurt. Or hurting someone from gaining information for a fictional book.
Are you going to write about the twins or spin off on the other’s characters in the story’s. Please do Austin is so funny I would love to here what he did about getting back at the people that wronged the twin’s and Griffin back. You had wholes in the story. Please write more story’s line about the character in all the Revolution books. Like the people that worked for Russ there’s very good stories there. Loved the books.
I love a rekindling story line. Wade and Griffin have know each other for years. Griffin was friends with Wades late husband and pulled away from Wade over the years.
A chance encounter give Griffin the chance to show Wade how good they can be together.
I LOVED this whole series. I wish there had been a bit more to the WHOLE story but there is another series in the same world that may keep that going for me.
So happy wade got another chance at love. Griffin was wonderful for him in so many ways. Honestly I think what I liked most about wade's story was that Matthew wasn't written off, he was still a big part of their relationship and that was so perfectly sweet. Both wade and griffin deserved to be happy, and I think Montgomery made that happen perfectly.
Of all the books in this series, this one is the sweetest love story. The way the author dealt with the deceased husband was sensitive and perfect and the love that grew between Wade and Griffin was sweet and sexy. The drunk scene was one of the funniest things I've ever read. I wish there were more books in this series as they were all so good.
I just really love this whole series. This book in particular was very sweet. I love that Wade was able to get his happily ever after. I would have liked a bit more angst but that is my personal preference and nothing against the author. Definitely recommend!
Great story!! I need more details on the twins and Austin taking them under his wing.
Possible spoiler: I loved that Wade had his HEA from birth until a few years before with Matthew and then the rest of his life with Griffin. That was just so sweet!!
It feels like the series petered out. Each successive book, after Jonah's, was less enjoyable. Wade is a lovely character, but he's boring compared to the rest.
