What if some magic trick turned you into a dog instead? That’s what happened to poor 5th grader Charlie. Now he was stuck living a dog’s life.
He and his friends will have to figure out how to change him back…or he’ll be a dog forever. In the meantime, Charlie will need to learn the ropes at living like a stray dog. He sure needs to “ruff it.”
Story gives a great, diary narrative of life as a dog. Full of tricks, fun, and laughter.

A very fun and funny middle grade read. 5th grader Charlie is accidently changed into a dog! What is it like to have "A dogs life?" He truly had to "ruff it!" Eating garbage. Smelling like a wet dog. Running from the dog catcher. Sniffing fire hydrants. Very imaginative and entertaining!
