So very underrated but oh so good 😍

This is what you get if you put an adult Cardan and Jude (FoTA series) in Pride and Prejudice. The sheer awesomeness!!! The angst!! Multiple betrayals!! Slow burn enemies to conflicted lovers!! 🥵 The politics!!

the grovelling is going to be so good!!!!! the FL starts out as a naive aristocrat and then loses everything and has to build herself up from nothing! it’s been really fun watching her grow into a mature young woman! excited to continue

I see a lot of bad review of it on here but personally being on episode 70 so far I was absolutely captivated by this series. Not only is the artwork incredible the characters are so complex and unpredictable. I always love heart wrenching series like this and this definitely is one of my favourites I’ve read along with what it means to be you (another manhwa that broke me)

I didn't understand the low rating at first, but now I do.

At first I thought this was going to be a lovers to enemy trope, but honestly I can't see how this can be classified as a romance so far. The protagonist is insufferable. As much I would love to stay and watch her turn her life around, I would rather not.

At first, I loved it. Then I began to hate it. The art style and general mutual feelings for each other really drew me in. But honest after living under one roof and talking to each other but not communicating? It made me too angry. He’s trapped in the past and hated her when they were younger because of his own problems. He should have gone to therapy instead of pushing that on her. She was ignorant but her fathers death forced her to grow up. But obviously not enough because she’s still not opening her mouth to talk when it’s important. I feel like the author is replying too much on miscommunication to drive the story. How can they build a life together if they can’t even understand each other now? Or even be transparent and willing ti compromise. I’m sick of it. But I still want to know how it all ends. Hopefully they don’t get together and find people they can actually talk to.

What a gem that I found just the other day I checked out kakaowebtoon. I can’t stop reading at all, I probably have been re-reading for almost 3 times already!

It starts slow but tense, you can feel the barrier between the noblewoman and the commoner. I love how it depicts the realness that there are some social class differences between the main lead and her love interest; and it is not be taken lightly during that timeline so it takes some time and chapters for each characters to develop.

Not an ordinady story for me but it was super unique, to be honest this series have a special place in my heart 😊❤️

Started off incredibly strong but began to loose the plot halfway through and became like a soap opera 😅There comes a point when the same problem never getting solved and always popping back up like a nasty cyst becomes extremely tedious, no matter how much you love the characters or the idea behind the plot. That is especially true if you don’t give your tired drama any room to breathe so problems come up and have to come to a conclusion within the next 5/10 chapters, this type of cheap narrative trick may create angst but it also exasperates a committed reader.

I admit, the first few chapters were b o r i n g but it gets better as you go through. Tho I think the romance should have been established more...
Nonetheless, it made me want to read classic novel asap.
