powerful and resonant

Words cut to the bone and heart in this collection of self-reflective poems that resonate with anyone who has been abused, neglected, and otherwise harmed by those they love.

This book is very pithy, to the point and really bone deep. You will relate to it in general but if you are a survivor of abuse, then you will find this as your spokesperson. Your pain will ache again. You will find yourself in this book. It is not mere connection with your older version but you will get a lot of hope and understanding. This gives recipie how to be a better version of you by divorcing your past and future and making you live in the now.
Highly recommended as it’s a one hour read book

Possibly the best poet I've found

Kalen is possibly the best poet I have found. His words are raw and honest. That's a rare quality. I highly recommend anyone to read this.0

Cutting

Makes you uncomfortable in a good way. Makes you look at the darkness without making an excuse. His poetry speaks to me in ways I didn't know how to listen.

Healing read

I loved each and every page. I'm healing from narcissistic abuse and these poems summed up exactly how I felt and still feel. Thank you so much for this Kalen ❤️

To the point and touches you bone deep. This book touched my soul and makes me want to set my boundaries and look at things from a deeper inner place.
