This was a good volume, even though Inuzaka's freaking obnoxious brother was in it. I will say this again: having a rude, overbearing, brash, and VIOLENT person do ONE NICE THING does NOT make them a "good person deep down". That is NOT how you write a "tough guy with a heart of gold" character and I still HATE him. Okay, okay, I've calmed down, now I can gush.
Char's character continues to grow and I still believe she is the stand-out secondary character in the series. I love learning more about her as well as seeing her interactions with Persia and Inuzaka. Somali's chapter was interesting and it offered a hint towards her and Aby's backstory, which I hope will be explored. The comedy was strong and thankfully there wasn't as much fan service as previous volumes. I'm glad to see Inuzaka became the leader of the Black Doggies again and love that this is his first step to becoming a leader. Seriously, I adore this lovable idiot, he makes me smile. Persia was great as well and her taking on Inuzaka's brother to save Inuzaka's honor was fantastic. You go, girl!
That's all I really have to say, it was a solid addition to the series and kept me wanting more. I can't wait to see where the series goes from here!
