This definitely made up for the last volume! Not great enough to get the full five stars, but it was much more entertaining this time around. While I'm not a huge fan of tsunderes, Persia's mom being one and Persia not realizing it was hilarious! And oh my gosh, Cait Sidhe is so fucking stupid and hilarious, I don't even know how to handle him! The rest of the volume after the festival was okay, but I much preferred the festival and all its shenanigans over dealing with Kogi, Hasuki's fucking generic and annoying little brother and his boring-ass chapter. Seriously, his story is so predictable and boring my eyes glazed over at some point.
Thankfully, the final chapter was worth it and I'm curious to see how Persia's stay at the Inuzaka residence goes. Final note, I did like Persia's mom telling her about the former Cat-Doggy couple. I have been curious for a while now as to how this story will end since it I SERIOUSLY DOUBT it will end in a double suicide (talk about a MASSIVE shift in tone) so now that readers have this tidbit, at least there's an idea as to what the final outcome could potentially be. Anyway, this was a good volume and I'm looking forward to volume 9!

Really loved this manga version of Romeo and Juliet! There are these 2 dorms at the Dahlia Academy; The black doggies and White cats and they have this longstanding feud(Like the Capulets/Mantagues) And Persia Juliet and Inuzuka Romio have to keep there love a secret! Really awesome beautiful story and artwork! Highly recommend if you enjoy any Romeo and Juliet Renditions😁😻❤️❤️
