I Love This Story

Zac & Noelle made for such a cute story…this couple took me on an emotional rollercoaster. Zachary & Noelle really had a lot to deal with and work out before they were able to find their way back to each other to get to their HEA.

This was such a unique amnesia romance! I really enjoyed how the heroine got amnesia in a car accident and something happened that made her not be able to see her fiancé, so she has no idea she was engaged. Now, she's living with another man that she got engaged to and she runs into her old fiancé at an art gallery. She slowly unravels her past and reconnects with the guy she's really meant to be with. I didn't love how blindly she trusted and accepted what her parents said, but I had fun reading this one! Especially the audiobook!

4 “second chance” stars!

Dang Tay! Talk about some emotional angst! I haven’t read many amnesia tropes..or should I say selective amnesia. Some things Noelle remembered and some she didn’t. I haven’t read a family this evil, selfish & manipulative in a while. Noelle’s mom was a piece of work!! I loved Zach! His heart was true to Noelle even when she wasn’t in his life for two years. These two were definitely star crossed lovers and they were destined to be together.

I really enjoyed this. It’s a really good second chance romance that packs so many feels. Although I’m happy this couple got their HEA , I just wish the ending didn’t feel rushed and they would’ve taken their time to relearn each other before the “I love you’s” and marriage. But I’m not mad though. Still enjoyed it immensely.

This was such a good story and absolutely broke my heart! Noelle and Zach seemingly had their whole lives ahead of them. They were engaged to be married and expecting their first child together! After one fateful evening their entire world was turned upside down. After waking up in the hospital with no memory her mothers hatred for Zach fueled a series of events that left Noelle under the thumb of her mother and Zach grieving the love of his life. Their paths cross years later and Zach is dedicated to helping Noelle “Remember the Time”!

Noelle’s mother and stepfather were trash! The length people will go through for their own selfish gain! With a mother like that who needs enemies! I’m glad that Zach didn’t give up on his No No! 🥰 That poor man went through it and he deserved happiness!

But the greatest of these is love

High emotional drama for Zach and Noelle as they struggle to deal with her manipulative family and a tragic case of selective amnesia. Their story plays out like something from a movie, but I enjoy angsty relationship movies and I liked this book.

3.5⭐️🌶️ Noelle and Zach had great chemistry, and they were able to get the happy ending. Noelle’s mom and stepdad are the villains, and they got what they deserved.

Zach did not give up loving Noelle after their lives were forever changed. He truly loved her. Noelle had been through so much and she just wanted answers. Thankfully she had some good friends in her life that truly cared about her happiness. All I could do was shake my head at her mother. She was a piece of work.

Narrators matter. I listened to this one on audible, the female narrator made it difficult for me to get lost in the storyline, her normal voice was fine but the tone change for the best friend sounded like a 7 year old. I’ll be reading the next one by this author so I can appreciate the body of work and give honest feedback

UNFORGOTTEN LOVE

This was a heartbreaking yet beautiful story. Very well written, great character development and storyline. This book definitely had my attention from beginning to end. Noelle and Zach's world was turned upside down and trying to get back from that was a hard pill to swallow for these two. I loved how Zach never stopped loving Noelle even after she disappeared. My heart went out to him because he was experiencing two losses in his life. What I loved about Noelle was that she refused to accept the deceitful lies her family tried to make her believe. I also loved her determination to get her old life back. This was a story of reuniting with a lost love, recreating memories as well as making new ones in the process. There was no denying the love created with these two and the happy ending that followed.

Details

I read Austin's story first, not realizing, Zach and Noelle had their own story. I loved the way this story flowed. The issues of Noelle's mother was sickening.
I was happy to see a man not running to sex, because life threw him a devastating blow. I like that Zach is not afraid to show his emotions. Tori next?

Good book

This was a really good well written book. I like that the storyline was different. I couldn’t believe how selfish and crazy Noelle’s mom was. I’m glad Noelle found her way back to Zachary.

Cute love story

It was a break from the normal urban tale. But what I got from this book is if love is real even without knowing anything about them you find that undeniable chemistry. If it meant to be it will come back to you

Tay, girl you stressed me out with this one. I should’ve known it was gone be some shit just based on the beginning of the book. Noelle and Zachary had a tough time but they pulled through. I hate her mama and stepdad and Daniel bitch ass ! Y’all did that lady like that for a punk ass business move ???? Ikyfl ! I loved this book, even with the extra gray hairs I got from cursing Noelle mammy out so many times. I wish I was in this book just to slap her.

The best man!

This story was different from the usual boy meets girl. And I'm always here for something outside the norm! Zachary was such a supportive, loving, sensitive partner. And Noelle let her heart guide her back to her soulmate!

3.5 ⭐️ I am exhausted on behalf of this couple! Their love story is like a Lifetime movie or an episode of General Hospital. I guess you should expect that when one of the main characters has amnesia. But Chile the foolishness these folks went through. They earned their HEA for sure!

Memories

Her mother was a piece of work wiping out her memory and using her daughter for business purposes only. They should have found another way of saying his company. I'm glad they got some of her memories back of her and Zach.

The first chapter was a lot. I had to stop reading for a few days because I was stuck.

I hated Noel mother, step-father and Daniel. I’m glad they got what was coming to them at the end. I hated it took until the end of the book.

The female narrator got on my nerves. There were to many unnecessary details. The comments about the ring and the make, model of the car were a little much.

Memories

This was absolutely beautiful! The saying what's meant to be will be was definitely Noelle and Zachary story! It's sad how her own mother was but I guess not all women are made to be maternal. The two will now create even more memories!

1st person — dual perspective with the exception of the prologue and epilogue being 3rd person — audiobook

Features: contemporary romance, second chance romance, amnesia romance, black love, cheating, lying, loss

Synopsis: Noelle and Zachary were happily engaged and expecting their first first child until a car accident changed things. Zachary had to go on without knowing what happened until Noelle returns to town not knowing who he was or who they were together.

Why enjoyed it: 3-4 stars. I loved the amnesia trope and this was very reminiscent of The Vow movie for me. Zachary was so patient and understanding that I wish Noelle could see the truth from him and Tori sooner.
- Noelle’s mom’s actions made my skin crawl. I wish the repercussions at the end for her and Daniel were more flushed out instead of glossed over. A minor pet peeve I have is the use of the N word with “a” even if it’s used in place of friend or brother. I just don’t like the N word in general used by ANYONE. I say this as a POC.
- I would be interested in a story about Chase and Tori.

Favorite Moments:
- Running into each other again
- Reunion with bff
- Only picture of their son
- Remembering how thy met, art bidding
- Kiss familiar
- Friend Lizzie compared to 90s Nia Long
- Dream of Zac fighting to defend her
- She drew his face shortly after waking up from coma
- Tori doesn’t want to show interest in Chase, they hooked up haha
- Chase gave Tori Os and the curve haha
- Zachary visits while she is painting and singing
- Sunflower field
- Another shared kiss
- Seeing engagement pictures, 3 months pregnant
- Noelle standing up to mother
- Going to him for comfort after leaving mom, desire and I love you’s
- Painted inspired by entwined
- Heartbeat from hugging. Teddy
- Proposal again

Remember Me

Zachary and Noelle had an unshakeable love and even after all they went through, their love still prevailed.

Zach was treated so poorly by Noelle's mom the night of the accident. Her mom was evil and vindictive. She was so wrong to treat him how she did, then to just do what she did to his son, her daughters son, her grandchild 🤨; yeah she deserves all the karma floating her way😏.

Even when Zach didn't know where Noelle was, he still felt a strong yearning and connection to her. Just as he was ready to let her go, she shows up, yet doesn't remember him. He could've just let her be, yet he knew that she was his one, his person and he'd do whatever to help her get her memories back. I love all he did for Noelle and the love he showered her with.

Noelle was so nice and to have her manipulative mom, stepdad and fake fiance, Daniel, do what they did to her was pretty sick. None of them seemed to have a problem with keeping the truth of her past from her. It was mind-blowing to know they didn't feel anything about not telling her about her son. Karma is paying them all a visit and sitting heavy with them. Just deplorable.

Even though it hurt Zach, I understood Noelle just needing time to sit with all that was revealed to her. He didn't have to make her think that Lizzie was more than a friend, yet he was hurt by Noelle leaving, again. Either way, it all worked out.

I like that we get to see the beginning stages to whatever Chase and Tori have going on. I need their story asap.

Butter Ridge Falls is truly growing on me and I'm loving all the love stories.

Great read. Highly recommend.

Noelle's mom was a piece of work that irked every last one of my nerves. Instead of her just being happy for her daughter she changed things for her own selfishness. I felt bad for Zach because after taking not one but two major losses he still had to find the strength to move on. The familiarity of home helped Noelle big time and I was glad when the pieces started coming together for her. Damn the way Noelle's mom handled Tori as well showed how much she was out for self. Daniel was just as dumb as Noelle's mom and his true colors began to show once he realized his lies wouldn't be accepted. Lizzie was definitely more understanding than I expected but she helped Zach understand Noelle's point of view. I wasn't sure how things would go for Zach and Noelle because the amnesia and lies almost tore them apart for good. When I got to the end I was so happy for them. Although life threw them a few curve balls they were still able to bounce back to create new memories. I truly was happy about the announcement she made because they were getting another chance at the one thing they lost.
