Zhenyi Hypatia Drakos had two astrophysicists as parents, one Greek and one Chinese. They gave her a love of space and the intellect to study it. Her name, glasses and independent spirit made her the target of bullies from her first day of school. To survive Zen adapted by becoming self-sufficient and capable of fighting back. When the pulsar she discovered at age thirteen begins changing, she discovers that humans are not alone in the universe. Draconis is the story of how Zen shares this news with the world and prepares herself and the planet for what is headed their way.

This is only 25,000 words. That's about 100 kindle pages. The next episode will be about the same size.

I need the next Draconis book ASAP! This was just getting to the best part for Zen to kick arse.

This was a really interesting book and I have been looking forward to the next one in the series. However when I wrote this comment, it had been 9 months since I read the book. The 4 books in the series were all published in a 6 month period between April and September 2020, which is beginning to make me worry something may have happened to the author.

Good Story

Zen is on a roll again, coming up with great ideas left and right. I liked several of her hacking escapades. The highlight of the story for me was the home visit by her family. It was fun and her sounded so cute! The low point of this story was Zen’s business ventures. I have no problem with someone profiting from the crisis, but she has inside information and has influence with those in charge. It seemed to be unethical. I will admit that the products seem cool. Interesting series continue the good work!

MC has gotten very unlikable.

With a casual disregard for what anyone else thinks and being the best at whatever she puts her hand at, she is no different than a spoiled rich kid that believes themselves above the rules.

Very good read.

There are a few errors where people’s names changed, but the story line and world situation are really well done. I’m looking forward to the next book!
