Our band's stunning, untouched new assistant was completely off-limits. But that didn't stop me. A car crash. A fake story at the hospital. She warned me when I dragged her from the nightmare that was her life that she could very well destroy mine. I didn't listen. I didn't care. I brought her into my home. Into my life. Gave her a job. My Pandora. A goddess amongst mortals who opened a jar and obliterated my world with her beautiful evils. But from the moment I saw her, I knew she had to be mine. Consequences be damned.
In a life where getting by is barely a thing, I didn’t expect much. Until I crashed into him. Literally. Keith Dawson is a god amongst mortals. A Rockstar I’ve drooled over for longer than I can remember. And now the hero of my darkest tales when a hero was the last thing I was looking for. But a god this powerful always has a fatal flaw. Turns out, she died a long time ago. And there is no living up to the ghosts of his past, right? So where does that leave us? Well, that’s where this story gets interesting.

This book had me at rockstar , age-gap romance. What was unexpected? It was beautifully written. Keith….This total grizzly alpha male with the heart of gold is just 😍
I really enjoyed reading Love to Tempt You. I’m surprised with myself that I haven’t read more by J. Saman. I will be changing that now.

I loved Keith's Friends Group! I Adored how they Accepted Maia. Marco, their band Manager, Is so Fun too. I Wonder if he'll get a book? Life Made me wait to read 'Love to Tempt You', but it was worth that Anticipation. Julie's Writing Style is Awesome & This I Highly Recommend! **ARC Received for a Honest Review.** FB Page | Instagram | Bookbub | FB group
Julie really ripped my heart out with this one y'all! I've been desperately waiting for this book (and this man *winks*) to be in my grabby hands, and it was just so much MORE than I expected -- in the best of ways. This was heartbreaking, beautiful, soft, intense, tragic, hopeful, hilarious, infuriating, sexy as hell and had me crying through most of it. Every contradiction you can think of is wrapped in a beautiful messy bow here, and I just could not get enough!
The absolute fire begwen these two? Holy fire extinguisher. These two definitely has sexual chemistry in spades, but I loved the small moments between them just as much as the big ones. The quiet moments when Keith would really let his guard down and made her realize that he was in love with her, and not the ghost of his past just moved me so much. Just bravo!!
There was so much painful angst that overjoyed my twisted heart, but it was also so funny & witty! I love this group of rockstar -- and their women -- so much!
And that teaser for Henry's book?! Fuck me on a ritz cracker, I NEEEEEDDDD more. Holy shit. I will be counting down the days for his book!!
**full review to come!!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
Keith instantly became my favorite member of Wild Minds. His story was so much more than I expect. Love to Tempt You had me in tears and it had me swooning.
Keith and Maia are two broken people who have happened to find each other. There was a connection between them from the start, they were both drawn to each other. There was chemistry, there was LOADS of tension and some insane passion. Keith’s past broke my heart. The pain, the guilt and everything he was experiencing throughout the past ten years and trying to over come everything to finally be able to move on with his life. Maia’s past isn’t as heartbreaking as Keith’s, but she never had it easy and I loved that despite everything in her life she was happy, she had a good outlook on life and was doing everything she could to have a better future.
There are so many sweet moments between Maia and Keith. Even if there were ignoring their tension and chemistry they just had a great friendship. The rest of the band easily accept Maia and let her into their family and I loved the joking between them and the support they gave her. I love the band and their families and can’t wait to see more of them in the future.
If you’re looking for a forbidden, rock star, age gap this is one to read!
Raw, emotional, and steamy, this was another excellent addition to a series that has been STELLAR so far. We knew very little about Keith's story going in, and this gruff, protective hero was more broken than anticipated - but also so in need of some love in his life. He's wholly unprepared for the whirlwind that is Maia, and they made for an intense, engaging couple who wasted no time falling for each other. But what happens when you meet the right person, and you still haven't dealt with the demons that haunt you? That's the question at the center of this love story, and what makes it such a compelling, multi-faceted romance.
The story follows Keith, the drummer for Wild Minds, the rock band we've gotten to know throughout the series. Prior to this, we've only caught a few glimpses of his personality, and there's a very good reason for that - he closed off a large part of himself after the death of his high school sweetheart (some triggers in that storyline). When Maia comes crashing into his life - literally - she catches Keith off-guard in the best of ways. Falling for the too young, too innocent, too sassy girl is one of the easiest things Keith has ever done, but he hasn't let go of his past - and that's a problem.
In some ways, this feels like your typical rock star romance - Keith is older (27 to Maia's 20), experienced, jaded, and broken - but there's a lot more too it than that. They are perfect complements to each other, and they're both just damaged enough to understand what makes their partner tick. I loved the build in intimacy, and while this feels like instalove in some ways, it's also a love that doesn't come easy. The chemistry between Keith and Maia crackles, with some seriously steamy scenes and a few intimate moments that were just great to read. I also loved how hard Keith fights to keep Maia in his life - he knows he's got a once-in-a-lifetime woman in front of him, and he has no plans to let her go. It's angsty, emotional, tense, and SEXY, with the kind of storyline that keeps you turning the pages. And that epilogue? Oh man, I am SO curious to see where this series goes next.
When Maia literally crashes into Keith's life, it sets these two broken souls on a path toward healing. Keith may be a famous rockstar drumming god, but Maia isn't about to fall all over him, and Keith likes that about her. She's attracted to him of course, but she's sassy and spirited, and just as damaged as he, so the two will have obstacles galore to surpass before they get to the other side of happiness.
Keith's past has literally given him nightmares caused by guilt he shouldn't, but does, carry. If he wants to keep his new love, though, he'll need to do something about not only the guilt and the demons, but the manifestations of those two things. Maia cannot be expected to continually be kept in second place to a ghost after all...
I've been loving this series so far, and Keith and Maia's story just cements its status as an excellent rockstar world. I felt all their emotions with them, cried with them, and rooted them on as they fought for the kind of love Keith has been seeing all his bandmates find.
Keith has achieved professional success beyond his expectations but when it comes to his personal life he still carries the guilt and regrets a decade later. It may have been chance or it may have been destiny that brought Maia barrelling into his life but once she was there she brought up feelings he never expected to have again.
After being betrayed by the people that should have protected her Maia is determined to forge her own path and keep people at a distance. The accident that brought Keith into her life should have been the worst thing to happen to her already difficult life, but she may just find out that it was the best thing.
Due to their pasts both Keith and Maia have built walls around their hearts. Their journey is filled with challenges as they battle not only each other but themselves as well but seeing them open their hearts to each other made it all worthwhile.
Maia and Keith will tug at your heartstrings! They are both guarded and have massive demons chasing them but the second they meet its a intense chemistry they can’t deny but can’t give into either but all Keith wants is to protect her and be the knight in shining armor that she needs. This is a emotionally charged book
5 BLOWN AWAY STARS!! I am blown away by this authors talent...she gives us fresh beautiful words and original storylines that suck you in. I am so glad I found her stories, she is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Keith and Maia will take you on one intense ride, so hang on and listen.
I absolutely devoured this book! This author has quickly become one of my favorite authors and Love To Tempt You further solidified that. Beautifully written, this engaging story is interesting, flows well, and is executed in such a way that it immediately drew me in and kept me enthralled until the very end . I love how the author has created characters that are both raw and real. There were swoon worthy moments, heartache, fits of laughter, a touch of angst, and kindle melting scenes, which really made this novel such an entertaining read.
Keith is the irresistible drummer of Wild Minds and I immediately fell for him. He has this huge heart, but also possesses a somewhat tormented soul. Demons from his past have the potential to stand in his way of happiness and I thoroughly enjoyed watching how his character grew throughout he novel. Maia is as alluring as she is plucky. This girl is down on her luck but she is full of perseverance and grit which I found to be very admirable. Some of her snarky wit and banter with Keith had me chuckling. I adored this girl!
The author does an excellent job of highlighting both Keith’s and Maia’s strengths and flaws thus making them more lovable and relatable. One cannot possibly misinterpret the sheer magnetism that occurs between these two. There is that intense physical chemistry between them, but there is also something that is more visceral; a connection that makes their relationship so remarkable.
Love To Tempt You is a standalone in this author’s Wild Minds rockstar series. If you have read the pervious books, which I recommend because they are amazing, then you will be thrilled to see the rest of the band members, their significant others, and Adalyn! For lovers of rockstar romances and/or those who have enjoyed this author’s previous books, you will definitely want to check out this tantalizing romance!
I voluntarily read an early version of this novel. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
Falling for the too young, too innocent, too sassy girl is one of the easiest things Keith has ever done, but he hasn't let go of his past - and that's a problem.
Keith has this bıg, gıgantic heart with an amazing capacity for love that he's kept locked away, and he has no idea what to do with his feelings for Maia. And Maia, well, she's nothing short of spectacular. She may be young and ınnocent, but she's a spitfıre and fırecracker who has somehow managed to clıng to her zest for life. She loves verbally spąrring with Keith, despite his roçk god status, and he delights in wınding her up to get a reaction.
Oh my heavens I loved this so hard! Keith and Maia are both trying to survive. Keith has had a huge trauma that he’s never gotten past and Maia’s whole life is a trauma.
It’s all about to come to a crashing life changing moment for both of them. Maia ends up living with Keith and all of his life rules. He wants her but won’t let himself be near her or have her. This story just grabbed my heart and kept me on edge waiting for things to fall apart.
I loved that Keith’s story was a mystery through so much of the story and then just exploded and oh my word my heart was so broken for what he went through. I can’t wait to read more of this series!
So I had no idea that this book was part of a series. It sounded good and I was like I need to read that, I remember liking forward and love rewritten but now I need to figure out how many books I’ve missed because I loved this book. Sass, sex and stubbornness of these characters had me flipping pages and being super annoyed when I had to put the book down. I just wanted to continue on.
All I am going to say is this book slayed me! I mean, literally slayed me! I can’t even tell you how much I loved Keith and Maia’s story. It’s definitely an emotional read that will leave you with the feeling that you want more. I loved the other books in this series, but I do have to say this one is my absolute favorite!
Keith is a drummer and has a bit of a troubled past so when he accidentally meets Maia, he is totally unprepared for how he feels and he’s not sure how to handle it. And when Maia first meets Keith, she can’t believe her eyes! The attraction is instantaneous and you could feel the heat between them.
As for Maia, she is a complete breath of fresh air. There is so much to love about her as her character is so endearing and I could see being friends with her. She is kind, beautiful and loving and is hesitant about Keith. He is larger than life, handsome, dominant and just absolute perfection. Can these two troubled souls find love with each other? One can only hope so. I loved how these two danced around each other and their banter made me laugh and cry.
I’m a lover of this series, and each book just solidifies why. This author has a way of making you fall in love with her characters each and every time. Keith and Maia are two people who work their way to finding each other and I loved everything about this book, every word, every sentence and every paragraph. Pure brilliance! A definite must read!
Do you ever anticipate a book, knowing that it's going to be amazing, to ruin you in the best of ways, only to find out you were wrong? Wrong because it’s so much more. So much better. So freaking other worldly that it drains every last drop of emotion from you and scorches itself onto your soul, leaving you breathless and wrung out with your heart blissfully satisfied. Well buckle up, my reader friend, because this it that book.
It should have been clear to me from the title that the teasing and seesawing between these two would be strong, but holy gold medal, their Olympic-class banter takes this romance to a level all its own, and I couldn’t get enough of Keith and Maia!
These are two savagely broken souls, Maia beaten down time after time by life and parents who didn’t deserve her and Keith destroyed by a lost love. An irresistible force draws them together in the form of an auto accident late one night on an LA street. At first glance Maia reminds Keith of what he lost, yet her life in ruins calls to his protective nature. But any attraction between them is overshadowed by ten years of neglected grief and Maia's having learned the heard way to trust only herself.
Oh my heart, these two! Keith has this big, gigantic heart with an amazing capacity for love that he's kept locked away, and he has no idea what to do with his feelings for Maia. And Maia, well, she's nothing short of spectacular. She may be young and innocent, but she's a spitfire and firecracker who has somehow managed to cling to her zest for life. She loves verbally sparring with Keith, despite his rock god status, and he delights in winding her up to get a reaction. It makes for some entertainment along the way to balance out the raw, gritty desperation of the ghosts that haunt them both.
But because of the mastery of this talented wordsmith, these two broken souls manage to heal each other as they fight and claw for their devastatingly beautiful happily ever after. A roller coaster ride doesn’t come close to expressing what this phenomenal story will do to your emotions, each element brilliantly placed for the greatest impact. Rock star romance fan or not, you NEED this book in your life. Prepare to be exquisitely, evocatively, magnificently wrecked as Keith and Maia own your heart and steal your soul. You'll love every nuance, every sentiment, every word, and it will be one of your top reads for the year!
I love reading about the guys from Wild Minds their stories have been so unique, and true to the same uniqueness is Keith and Maya's story. It swallowed me up and I couldn't put it down until I learned the history behind why these two people were so broken. It was not a pretty history for either of them, raw, heartbreaking and devastating would best describe it but unfortunately not mind-numbing as both Keith and Maya were reliving their pasts every day. Maya is probably the stronger of the two as she is working on leaving her past behind when she meets Keith. Keith is still haunted by his past not will not allow himself to move on to a happier future.
When these two literally crashed into each other Keith was immediately drawn to Maya and wanted to help her. Although helping her soon changed into desire for her he has to keep it under control afraid he would hurt her. Maya is feisty and independent and needs no-one to take care of her but taking a gamble she allows him to help her when she is injured. I loved the sizzling chemistry, and hilarious banter between these two but the emotional push and pull broke my heart as I badly wanted to see them work things out and be happy.
I love Julie's writing style, the story flowed so seamlessly and the characters are realistic and down to earth. It was wonderful to revisit with the other band members and their wives and see Maia quickly accepted into their tight knit group and I especially liked that the band despite their mega stardom have never forgotten how they got there and are willing to help others along the way.
This is a not to be missed story and if you have not read the previous ones in the series it is time to go back to the beginning. The only part of the book I didn't like is after the teaser having to wait for Henry's story to be finished and released!!
Maia is responsible for a traffic collision and this will change the direction of her life.
Keith cannot believe the resemblance of the girl who collapses in his arms after a car accident to his childhood sweatheart that has stopped him forming any relationships.
Keith cannot stop the protector coming out of him to help Maia, this story will take you through their funny, arguementative, relationship and how this all unfolds when the band gets involved. When Keith and Maia have to face the challenges from the background, will this all be too much too late for them to build a future
Another excellent story and cannot wait for Henrys and Edens in the next book.
“I shouldn’t want him” so I let him finger me. “He can do what he wants” but I am jealous. “I’m a virgin” but suddenly I want to be spanked and fucked in the ass. “I have to protect my heart” but we were inevitable Ffs, give me a fucking break. The writing was sooooo bad it’s insane the ratings are so high.
I love angsty stories and this one has angst in spades. It also has the Wild Minds characters that I love, Gus and Jasper and their wives and the precious little girls, Ady and Cora.
In this story we’re reading about the drummer, Keith Dawson, another of the guys who have been friends since they were kids. What we didn’t know before is that Keith had a girlfriend in high school who dies under circumstances we won’t know until later and it has affected Keith to the point that he’s unable to have normal relationships with women.
One day he gets involved in a car crash and finds a strong attraction to the woman driving the other car. She has a similarity to the girlfriend he had lost. When he finds that she will be destitute from work with her injuries, he takes over and gives her a job as Personal Assistant to his band. All this time, he’s dealing with her appearance but slowly starts to realize this girl is a firecracker as compared to his old girlfriend Amy.
“I have a woman who I don’t know staying with me. It doesn’t make sense. I paid for her car and her hospital bills. I scooped her up and took her out of her home and brought her to mine. Now I’m trying to give her this job. I don’t know what I’m doing. All I know is that I don’t want to stop, and I don’t want to analyze all the finer details that might add up to me being just a bit crazy.”
I loved the character Maia, she’s strong, decided, assertive and very snarky. She grew up poor but with ambitions. She saved and worked and got to college, only to lose everything due to her loser father. She escaped to Los Angeles and was surviving, trying again, when she crashed and lost everything again.
“Half the town I grew up in was addicted to either oxy or meth. That’s what poor folk in Appalachia do. Because we’re all poor. Even the ones with steady jobs not collecting welfare checks every month are poor. And there is no end in sight to that. All that poverty does is breed an infestation of hopelessness, which leads to drugs, and yeah, you get my schoolhouse special.”
Keith’s remembrance of Amy was a shy, retiring girl. He’s left in a circle of guilt that he can’t get out of, until Maia crashes into his life. Looking like his angel but with fire in her soul and in her words, she turns his life around. He’s incredibly attracted to her, he wants her in his life but he’s still immersed in his guilt. And we have our angst!
I loved Maia and Keith, both have hearts of gold, but Maia is brave and abrasive, Keith is charming and conflicted. Their conversations were full of wit and banter and fire! There were parts of the story that were a little tiring because there was a little too much back and forth. Maia was at times aggressive with Keith, other times she felt she needed to concentrate on work and getting ahead. Similarly, Keith was alternating between off-putting and possessive.
The parts where the band were working together or relaxing together were great, since we get to enjoy their dynamic. Also, when Ady is present and we see how she has the heart of the whole group. Eventually, the pace picks up and we see action and resolution, and enjoy a love story of two individuals with strong characters work out their issues to be together. This is not my favorite of the stories but I did love the characters and loved the author’s explanation about her choices for this plot, which gave it a lot of meaning.
This series has been an amazing journey of epic proportions following Wild Hearts as they continue being this famous band and each of their own issues. I thought this entire time that no one and I mean no one would top my love for Jasper Diamond, but in this story, Keith has taken the number one spot. Keith is this broken man that has a heart of gold but has been damaged by his past that still haunts him today and it gives him a sense of always needing to help and save others. When he has a chance encounter with the beautiful Maia not only is stunned by her resemblance from someone in his past, her beauty, but also his need to help her in any way he could. Maia came from a poor town, life, and family that ultimately betrayed her making her lose so much even trust in humans. When she is confronted with Keith’s incessant need to help her, she is not only hesitant, but she doesn’t like hand out or owing anyone anything. Keith slowly shows her that she can trust him and his help, but he is quietly fighting his own demons while falling for the girl that needs his help. Can these two let their walls down long enough to explore their potential or is Keith’s guilt too much to override what could be? Keith is this larger than life, sweet, alpha that will do anything for those he loves but his own guilt is weighing hard on him and Maia doesn’t want to come second to a ghost nor does she want to give up her own dreams to just be heartbroken in the end. I can’t explain how much I love these guys, especially Jasper and now Keith, but I love their family dynamic and being drawn into their inner circle to fall hopelessly for them. The author has made an amazing world that I can’t wait to read more of because I think Henry’s story might steal the show and have me loving him just as much!!!
““Pandora, there was no way I could leave you in that box you were living in. Let me be your Atlas and hold up your world for a while. Even if your world is filled with evils.”
“I licked you so now you’re mine. That’s how this works.”
“You’re hellbent on saving me, but I need to be the hero of my story.
“..that sometimes the family you’re born into isn’t the family you’re meant to end up with. The family you find, the family you create for yourself, is where you’ll find a love that never ends.”
Two shattered souls that with the right rearranging of our broken pieces have the potential to become whole again. I can find myself in Maia. She grounds me. She connects me. She sees me, flaws, fucked-upness and all.
The moment Maia's life comes crashing into Keith's it's evident that her life is in shambles, and the protector in him wants to be the man to save her. But she is a very head strong woman, and insists that she does not need the help he is offering. She wants no part of the world he comes from and doesn't want to owe him anything. But he just can't leave her living in the world she is living in, she deserves better and he is determined on providing that for her... rather he has to fight her every step of the way or not!
Love to Tempt You is a story of new beginnings, healing, and finding love. Keith knows he has no business wanting a woman like Maia, but he can't help what he feels. Seeing the way she has been living, struggling to keep herself afloat and watching her world crumble after their accident stirs up his need to take care of her. But she isn't too receptive to the idea of being a kept woman. Her insistence to stand on her own two feet and do things her way irks him a bit, but he knows if he doesn't give her a little freedom, it will never work. Despite their attraction to one another he has no intention of taking things to that level, he just wants to be the guy helping out a friend. But with her constant heated stares and their feisty little battles she lights a fire in him that he can't extinguish.
Watching these two dance around one another and their attraction was quite entertaining, I knew there was no way they could avoid it for that long, there were definitely going to be fireworks ahead... and oh boy was I right! They tried their best to keep things platonic, but they soon learned with a passion that burned like theirs did it couldn't be ignored for long. Every interaction they had just made things more intense and powerful. I loved watching these two fall for one another and heal the wounds that ailed them, it was such a beautiful emotionally charged love story. Highly recommend this one, it's perfectly penned words are destined to touch your heart!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
'Love to Tempt You' carved itself into a piece of my heart that I didn't even know existed. This powerful impactful, yet at times a fragile story is not one that you will forget about quickly. In fact, it is a story that you will read again and again. There are so many beautiful heartfelt moments in the book, so many wonderful and sometimes sad scenes that it is hard to express what an exception read this is, it took my breath away. Just loved it.
The way in which J.Saman built the sexual tension between Keith and Maia is outstanding, like a great symphony, as the music builds to the explosive finale and leaves you feeling like you have been part of something unique.
Many silk ropes tie Keith and Maia's story together. The foundation is Keith's tragic past, one that has haunted him for 10 years and stops him from moving on and opening himself up to love and relationships, then we have Maia, who at 20 is working hard to make something of herself while dealing with the debt her father has forced upon her. The determination to make something of herself and once again being able to go to college are her motivation to move to LA. And the rope that binds this all together, passion.
"Kowing all the while it's not. That it never will be. But wanting it to be all the same.
An accidental meeting brings Keith and Maia together, and their journey at times is funny. I loved the classic movies and for me, the mention of Grace Kelly always produces something deeply romantic inside me, the story does have its fair share of heartbreaking and does touch on some sensitive themes, but these are dealt with very compassionately. Maia has endured a lot in her young life, she will not give up her heart easily to have it broken beyond repair, but this is sometimes easier said than done, especially when you are faced with a man such as Keith. Keith knows that he needs to be able to leave the past behind before he can move on with his future, but he hopes he doesn't break Maia in the process.
I must admit I haven't read the rest of the series, but if this book is anything to go by, they have made it onto my 'Must Read' list.
I was not ready for Keith. Thought I was but I really wasn’t ready to fall for him as fast and hard as I did. I’m keeping this as vague as possible. It really is best to go in to this story knowing as little as possible.
Keith is the drummer for Wild Minds and he’s a lot more complicated than I thought he would be. When he’s involved in an accident and sees the woman responsible for it for the first time, he’s thrown off kilter. Not knowing why he feels the way he does, Keith has this overwhelming urge to do what he can to help and protect Maia. Maia is struggling to keep her head above water when she crashes into Keith. Been responsible for the crash and been injured just add more pressure to an already beaten down Maia. When Keith offers to help she has no choice but to accept it on the condition it’s only until she’s back on her feet.
These two characters are both broken in their own ways but for some reason they start helping each other to heal. It’s not all smooth going though. Keith has a lot of things he needs to deal with but with their connection growing stronger every day and the chemistry between them getting harder to ignore, can Maia and Keith be around each other without someone getting hurt?
This is another brilliant book from J Saman. I couldn’t put it down once I’d started and I loved every second of the emotional roller coaster ride that Keith and Maia took me on.
A rockstar romance with depth, sass, and tons of steam.
Keith is a super broody, rockstar that goes into full protective mode with Maia after a car accident leaves are injured and he realizes she is struggling. Maia is a proud woman who is struggling to make ends meet but is striving for independence. I loved their push and pull. They want each other so bad but shouldn't give in. The ways they connect over classic movies or picking a fight to get a rise out of the other. Their banter is feisty, their chemistry is strong and their admiration is undeniable.
Keith battles some serious demons throughout the story, as a result of the death of his high school girlfriend 10 years prior. The impact of losing a loved one is evident and authentically woven into the story.
Love to Tempt You is the 4th book in the Wild to Love Series. This book can be read as a standalone. I’ve not read the other books and was able to clearly follow along without feeling lost. There was a good balance of providing the necessary back story without getting over descriptive and taking away from this story. At the same time giving you good nuggets that make you want to read the other books.
I recommend this book if you like a broody, alpha rockstar, and a strong-willed woman who challenges him at every turn.

"Some secrets are more like confessions than kept truths, but their release doesn't always set you free. And that's what this was. This was his confession that he's kept bottled up for ten years and is still tormented with."
Keith wears his guilt like a weighted cloak that hides the true man underneath. Its a heavy burden that he's carried for over ten years. He blames himself for something that's happened in his past. Nothing or no one can convince him otherwise...
Enter Maia, the sassy little spitfire he crashes into when she makes an illegal turn. A trip to the hospital ensues and she's in deep when he claims he's her fiance! She's stunned when the Rock god she's been crushing on wants to take the blame!
"I know. But even tomorrow, when the light of day makes every truth feel harsher, I won't regret it. In the darkness of night, my body wants your hands all over it. And that's enough for me right now."
Keith and Maia are two broken souls who somehow heal one another. It's a bumpy ride and not all rainbows and unicorns but it's so worth the journey. I love everything that J. Saman has ever written, but I'm thinking, Love to Tempt You, just might be my new favorite!
5 Tempt Me Stars!!! J. Saman knows the way to my heart... and she's snuck in again with this book!
Keith is the drummer for Wild Minds, but he comes with a lot of baggage. Mostly due to his rocky past which makes him a broken man. He struggles daily and is trying to deal with it. His chance encounter with Maia startles him because she looks like someone from his past. Maia is a refreshing woman who's sweet and so friendly. She balances Keith out but they both need to overcome their own demons to make it work.
This book is a whirlwind of emotions and feelings. But I was hooked like I always am with J.'s books and I'm totally okay with that!!! I can't wait to read more from her!!!
One wrong turn and her world blows up...can he put it back together but even better
Love to Tempt You is the fourth book in the Wild Love series and is the story of Keith Dawson and Maia Angelo. I have read and also own a couple of Julie Saman's books, including in the Wild Love series. So I was looking forward to Keith's story and seeing just who he would fall for. It turns out to be a feisty survivor of a young woman who doesn't have anything to lose in her life but is willing to fight to keep that small bit. They meet with a car accident early in the morning on a deserted Los Angeles street. Her 1989 Chevy Monte Carlo may be totaled but she does end up being the fiancee of one of the world's most famous musicians the wildly successful band, Wild Love. With her injuries Maia cannot work so Keith decides to hire her as an assistant for the band. But with temptation so close can he resist Maia? Maia has not had luck on her side in her life so will it finally break for her after such an unfortunate initial meeting? We can only hope as Maia is a character you find yourself cheering for to get a wonderfully sweet and sexy HEA and Keith is just the right man to be able to make all her dreams, and even some she never knew she had, come true.
J. Saman is a new author to me and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed Love to Tempt You, book 4 in the Wild to Love series. Keith is a drummer in a rock and roll band and literally runs into Maia when she turns her car in-front of him. When Main begins to freak-out at the accident regarding not having money to deal with anything the accident is going cause, Keith takes it upon himself to claim it was his fault and take Main into his home and life when she ends-up with a broken arm in a cast. When Maia loses her job waitressing, Keith suggests to the band that she become their new PA. Even though she is young in years, she had a "old soul" and soon Keith finds himself unable to keep himself away from Main, stating that she is too young and innocent for the likes of him. Love to Tempt You had insane chemistry between Keith and Maia; neither of them being able to keep their hands to themselves. As a new reader, I also got a glimpse and plan to revisit the other band members in their books. If you are enjoy reading about hot rockers and the girls they fall for, you definitely won't be disappointed with this book.
This author sure knows how to create a story that packs an emotional wallop. They are fast becoming one of my top favorite authors because of how they create not just the story but the characters themselves. From the beginning of the book, I found myself immersed in all aspects of the storytelling and falling in love with everything that was happening.
The journey to happily ever after is never smooth on the easiest of days but for Keith and Maia it is that times ten. Neither of these characters had an easy life before so watching these two navigate their feelings and open up to the possibilities of love and acceptance was beautiful, to say the least. The author did a great job in crafting these characters as if she was a puppetmaster. I fell in love with both these characters, individually and together. Their chemistry was fire, the dialogue and banter were perfect, and the love was explosive.
This book was a great reminder that love can grow in the darkest and tiniest of spaces.
