The book has so many shocking revelations about many well known names in the Marathi industry.
Dada kondke was the first superstar of the Marathi film industry.
Dada kondke has successfully produced dozens of movies and acted in it.
Dada kondke was famous for his films which celebrated silver jubileeves and golden jubilee's in the theatres.
Apart from successful career Dada kondke had a lonely life which was well depicted in this book.
Dada kondke was a staunch shivsainik.
he had a cordial relationship with Shivsena supremo Mr Balasaheb Thakre.
The socio-Political situation of late 60th in Mumbai is very well narrated from the perspective of Dada kondke in this book.
You should not skip this book if you are interested in the Marathi cinema Marathi theatre and the Marathi glamorous world.

दादा, एक विलक्षण व्यक्तिमत्व. विनोदबुद्धी, हजरजबाबीपणा, उत्तम संगिताला द्वयर्थी पण काव्यात्मक गाण्यात रचण्याचे कसब, या जोरावर दादा अनेक मातब्बरांशी भिडले आणि त्यान्ना पुरुन उरले पण हट्टी स्वभावामुळे एकटे राहिले, हे वाचणे मनोरंजक आहे. थोडे एकतर्फी वाटते पण 9 ब्लॉकबस्टर मराठी चित्रपट देणे वादातीत आहे. त्यांचे बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्याशी असलेले नाते आणि दोघांची धमक, भारावून टाकणारी आहे. विच्छा माझी पुरी करा will remain unbeatable forever!!

One of the best biographies that I have read recently. Credit is to the rich content as well as author’s narration style. The chapter on the censor board titled “Shensaar board” is so funny that I would recommend reading just that one chapter if you don’t like reading biographies.

This is truly a page turner, and the only word that comes to mind is “zakaas!”

Very nice book on Late Dada Kondke-He had a great life filled with sucess, failure,joy, grief, jealousy, treason...Closing of Book is very touching and emotional...He deserved to live at least another 10-15 Years. Rest In Peace Kailaswasi Dada Konke..🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

हे आत्मचरित्र खूप छान, ओघवतं असून विनोदी थाटात लिहिलेलं परंतु दुख्खाची नि एकटेपणाची झालर असलेलं आहे. दादांनी भल्या भल्या दिग्गजांची एक दुसरी माहित नसलेली बाजू अगदी बिन्दास्तपणे अगदी त्यांच्या खास शैलीत मांडलीय, बऱ्याच ठिकाणी ती अगदी वादग्रस्त आहे.

पुस्तक वाचलंच पाहिजे या वर्गवारीतील आहे.
