This was an interesting read, primarily for the fact that I enjoy stories involving true crime and prison escapes. While this one was from the viewpoint of Australian crime (and it did take a bit of getting used to Australian vernacular).
There were few instances of words seemingly out of order (nothing that severely affected the flow of the novel).
This is an extremely interesting read (and for what it is worth, definitely piqued my interest in reading a few of this author's other books).
That being said, I would rate this story a solid four of a potential five stars.

Great entrainment
This was a great read I had read the max series and enjoyed them I didn't want them to end so it was nice to find this add on book I really like this author he's easy to read I would recommend these books but if you don't like blood and violence this isn't for you unless you can skim over them I have at times I had to do that but it didn't spoil it for me

Fantastic!!!!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat it’s a phenomenal read!!!!,got twists and turns and I read it all in one go,couldn’t put it down!!! Definitely would recommend ♥️♥️♥️

Stand alone story in the MAX series. this is about a huge robbery in Australia, and how things can go horribly wrong, This story involves betrayal, loyalty and corrupt prison officials.
