We can't say we weren't warned. But once the Artificial Intelligence genie gets let out of the bottle, there's no putting it back in.
Or, is there?
When a huge corporation's AI system is hijacked, Colt Toffler is determined to put a stop to it. But he'll need the help of Kelly Edwards, a young and beautiful computer expert.
Colt and Kelly race to stop the hijackers from auctioning off the AI system. But when things turn deadly, they realize they might not make it out alive.
Can the two live long enough to get the job done? Or will the world's media become corrupted forever?
Hi! Glad you took the time to read about me, though my Coastal Adventure Series is really much more interesting. But hey, click my "Follow" button and see what kind of trouble I get into. It beats reading the newspaper! (I try to stay out of those these days...)
I was born in Palm Beach County, Florida, and escaped in Y2K, 40 years and 1.1 million new neighbors later. I hate crowds, and by then the lines at the boat ramps on the weekends were hell... Anyway, in my early twenties I crewed on sportfishing boats. I started flying when I was old enough to see over the instrument panel and got my license at 16. I've logged time in over two dozen types of aircraft. I got my start as a real estate investor in my latter 20's. I've owned retail stores and was even a small-town mayor once. Why? I'm still asking myself that question now, several decades later.
When I moved to Virginia, I fell in love with the Chesapeake Bay, the Eastern Shore (VA & MD), as well as the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and that's why my books are set in this area. I write books because it's fun. I create characters that I enjoy 'spending time with' because I write every day.
You're still here? If I haven't put you to sleep or chased you away by now, please feel free to click the button next to the "Follow" one and send me a "Friend" request. Like Belushi said about grabbing a beer in the opening scene of Animal House: "Don't cost nuthin'!"
In the story the good guys protected the election. I'm the real election computers and outside anti-American interests helped steal it. I got bored with the constant relationship questioning. I kept wondering when high school was going to end. Overall there were probably 3 chapters worth of interesting plot and a chapter of hard to believe action. The rest was boring stupid relationship blather.
Totally blew me away on so many levels. Plot was on point. Characters so well developed and interesting, easy to relate and emphatic. Especially poignant for me being a single BKA so having a primary protagonist that is also an amputee makes simple issues so relatable on a personal perspective. Would love to see Colt show up in more storylines in the Coastal series with ESVA gang!
Don a true wordsmith. Another fantastic book that is hard to put down. Fantastic story with action, love, friends and a reality that could be happening in our world. Only problem I have is that I am reading Dons books so quickly that I can’t wait for the next one.
I’ve enjoyed the Coastal series but this book was long on relationships and short on activity/action. Was more a bald guy droning on in his mind about a new relationship.
