OLYMPUS RISING by Christian Kallias is a seven book set from the Universe in Flames series. I have read read and thoroughly enjoyed all of the Universe in Flames books and highly recommend this author and this 7 book compilation of the Universe in Flames series and the extra bonuses.
One of the bonus features is Saroudis's Destiny, featuring Commodore Saroudis finding himself ten thousand in the past, in the middle of the first Fury war and followed by a sneak peek at the upcoming prequel series.
This entire series is an epic space opera adventure reminiscent of Battle Star Gallactia and Star Wars. If you like lots of action, heroes with self-doubt and guilt and heroism galore and really evil bad guys, then this series is for you. Each volume in this series is as fresh and new as the first one.
Christian Kallias is an author with an imagination that just doesn't stop. We start with the destruction of the Star Alliance and the survivors fleeing for their lives. You get a tremendous amount of GREAT reading in a teeny tiny price!! I've been an ARC reader for this author awhile now so I got this free but felt compelled to buy it to support an excellent writer and fantastic books! The worlds and characters he creates are astounding, complete and suck me right into the story!! You need to buy this now before the price goes up and even if the price goes up! This author and his stories are worth WAY MORE than offered so please buy this and support a great author!

A quite flat book. I was fascinated by the start and started reading with good vigor.
An interesting start, a bit of Enders game feel to it but after a while it felt like a book with a recipe of:
Hero just about manage problem, gets boosted in some way which just let him fix next problem.
I was hoping the seven books were complete but noticed the $1 tag was to send new readers down an endless line of single recipe books.
If you are really into detailed fighting with and without spacde ships this might be your book...but it wasn't mine.

Captivating!
Universe in Flames books 1 through 7 and additional material was a daunting endeavor to take on. However, the action was nonstop. I engaged with with the characters. Christian is a talented and imaginative writer. I look forward to the next 7 books in this series. If your a space opera lover and have read mythology, you will enjoy.

I have read all these books individually, and have bought this set to get the extra 2 books.
This is a galaxy spanning series with baddies as big as that. Join Chase and team as the travel to Earth to save the universe.

Space odyssey were furies fight earth and all planets.
Chase becomes a star fighter. He meets and falls in love with Sarah. To save earth and rest of planets they are in endless battles with the furies.

Fun reading
This group is kind of a cross between a series and installment type of fiction. I found it interesting once you get past the continuously expanding deity-level abilities.
