Endearing/Sweet, drama, tears & sympathy, but nice HEA 💕 And she wasn’t “dating” the first guy, they went on A Date- of which he was an Assh*le!

This is the tenth book in the Heavy Hogs MC series by Elias Taylor and is Chace's story. The book is well written and hard to put down once you begin. The characters are well-developed and likable. There is no shortage of drama or emotion. Chace poured himself into his work after the sudden loss of his forever love and unborn child during childbirth. No woman caught his eye until Cynthia but he wasn't quite ready so his best friend and business partner Braxton made a move on her. The real chemistry is between Chance and Cynthia so you can imagine how this heats up the drama. Plenty of twists, some sadness, turmoil between the two best friends. This is a great book that you don't want to miss. I read an advanced reader copy via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to add a review.

This is a story about knowing when to take a chance, when to play it safe and realizing that there comes a time in our lives when we have to take a leap of faith. Chase Johnson and Braxton McGee are business partners, but they've been walking different paths for quite some time. They own a variety of diners, bars and grills that do a consistently good business. Chase likes to invest in more of a sure thing, whereas Braxton jumps at a long shot, knowing in his gut that it's going to be a success. Their friendship is strained, but not broken. Cynthia Rawlings is a data analyst and her job has her so busy she barely has time to breathe. She loves to ride her Harley so she makes the decision to see if there are any riding groups in the area and, yes, the Road Warriors meet every week at a local bar and go on a ride each Sunday. Just what she is looking for, and that's where this story gets a little sticky. When she walks into the bar, every head turns and Chase spots her first. Braxton, in his brash way, spots her as he enters the bar and immediately makes his way to her as she's talking to Chase. They both want to spend time with her, but who is going to get to her first. Chase is too kind, one might say meek, but it's good manners in his book, but the jealousy is immediate and strong. Strains between the men become more prominent and they take a toll on their business relationship. Braxton isn't going to give up so soon and goes head to head with Chance. Cynthia disappointed me a little with the way she felt it was her fault and decided to stay away from them both. But Chase has a secret pain that he hasn't shared with anybody that keeps him from being able to form a close relationship with a woman and he hasn't really done much to mend his heart. Cynthia doesn't believe that a man would necessarily want to be with her because of past experiences, but she freaks out when Chase shares his secret. They succeed at staying away from each other, but that comes to an end when she tells him that she's pregnant. How can he go through that again? He reacts horribly and I almost wish that Cynthia would tell him that he simply doesn't deserve her. It takes time, and a lot of introspection, but they get their happy ending and it's so sweet!

Another Solid MC Book Series.
Author Elias Taylor delved back into her MC Series for us to meet another member, Chase. Chase is an MBA Grad and an Entrepreneur who has partnered with his best friend Braxton. They have successfully bought restaurants and bars. Cynthia, is a Data Analyst who loves her profession but not so much the company she works for. Her dream is to open her own firm.
Chase and Cynthia meet when she shows up for the MCs’ Sunday ride. There is an attraction there but there but they soon learn there are also lots of barriers that come into play. And let me tell you, some are very tearful for both. But, what I liked once again, as I did in previous books in the series, they both have normal, loving parents and friends who are supportive when needed.
The challenge however, is for Cynthia and Chase to work everything out and successfully reach that HEA.
Like all the books in the series I enjoyed this book too. It’s the type of story here I can curl up on the couch and just read away forgetting it’s turned dark out until I look up. I certainly am recommending this storyline. I found all aspects of the story well-developed which engaged me from the beginning to the end. Peace.

Cynthia Rawlings, a data analyst, was seeking a group to ride her much loved, albeit neglected, Harley with. However, what she got was Chase, a local business man, who is both successful as well as charming.  In this case, it is both a dangerous and intriguing combination.

I am one of those people who do not like to give away any part of the plot, so that I do not ruin it for other reader's. Let me assure you that, Elias Taylor sure knows how to craft a wonderfully designed & addictive MC romance book.  These Heavy Hogs won't let you down. Discover what happens when these two stubborn characters finally let their guard down, and both find their hard won happily ever after.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Chase in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this release as well as the Series as a whole. 

I can honestly say that I just adore this superbly talented Author and can not wait to what is next.

I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates. Chase and Braxton are best friends and business partners, but things have been strained lately. Their tension comes to a head when Cynthia comes into their bar one night. She wants a temporary escape from her job/life. She is immediately attracted to Chase, but he is hesitant to act on his feelings and Braxton takes advantage of that. This starts the emotional push and pull of the story. Chase has to deal with his past, his relationship with Braxton and his desire for Cynthia before he loses them all, especially once Cynthia comes to him with something that will change both their lives. Loved this one!

He was a hustler from a young age,with. His best friend. She was. A. Dedicated worker for her. Company,, and was. Bored. To tears. They meet. When she was looking for. A riding club in. Which to go riding with.. she found his club Thur the internet and gave it a try.
They beat around the bush for awhile then get together, eventually they get pregnant. This messes with Chase’s head, because in the past he lost his still born child and his partner, at the same time.
Cynthia, falls apart and they take a time out to get their heads on straight. They both get their heads out of their butts and finally come together as a couple and fall deeper for each other then before.

I love books with the storyline having the H/h taking that leap. Whether faith, life, love, it's the leap into the unknown. Chase and Cynthia need to take that leaf. I loved these characters, they had depth and intriguing. How long time friends and business partners, Chase and Braxton, work through their differences, and how Chase and Cynthia work through their relationship make for a steamy, fast well written read. Another winner form Elias Taylor.

I cried every time Chase choked up for his diseased baby and its mother he loved so much! Later, I got to thinking: Braxton, the best friend trouble maker in this book was probably co-dependent on Chase and started being trouble when he stuck with Chase when he was mourning his dead lover in a bar every night. He couldn't handle liquor as well as Chase. Notice when Chase found something to live for, so did Braxton. I hope the next book is about him. This was another good read from Taylor

This one didn't keep my attention as well as some of the others.
Chase and Braxton are childhood friends and business partners. They are also day and night in personalities.
Cynthia works at a company she hates and is unlucky in love.
Both guys meet Cynthia. Both want her for different reasons.
There are two relationships in this story - Chase and Braxton and Cynthia and Chase.
While the storyline was old, I really didn't connect with any of the characters.

This is a solid MC Romance storyline with profound loss, new beginnings, emotional ups and downs, a disastrous date with our Hero's partner to complicate things after discovering our heroine is really in love with Chase. There is a possible HEA, and I liked this read. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

MC lite.

More about the weekend recreational motorcyclists.
Chase is a conservative investor (so not MC, peeps).
He’s that way in his personal life as well (some reasons). His partner asks out Cynthia (also with a job, but just kind of stagnant in said job). But she wants Chase. I think it would have been better if she tag teamed it.

Chase has come to a point in his life that things have changed and he wants different things than his business partner. They meet Cynthia and she ends up with Chase and they have obstacles to work through especially when she becomes pregnant. Good story of taking chances to get what you need in life.
